Anna M. Glattacker Chubb, 93, of Highspire and formerly of Harrisburg, died Thursday, April 3, 2003 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was a retired Sales Clerk for the former Woolworth's and Pomeroy's Department Stores downtown Harrisburg. She was a member of the former Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Jane Given. She is survived by two sons, David A. and Leslie T. Chubb, both of Harrisburg; one daughter Jeanine Motter, Highspire; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great granddaughters.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg. Burial in West Greentree Cemetery, Mt. Joy Township. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

BABY BOY TYRELL LEE WALBORN
Baby Boy Tyrell Lee Walborn, newborn son of Rose M. Walborn and Gordon Juggins, III, died shortly after his birth on March 30, 2003 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother DeAndre Walborn; Maternal Grandmother Joan Brown; Uncle Christopher and Aunt Holly Walborn.
MEMORIAL SERVICES: Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 12:00 noon in the Steelton Mennonite Church, 501 North Third Street, Steelton. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

MARY ELLEN TURBAN
Mary Ellen Horner Turban, 82, of 431 Penn Street, Bressler, died Thursday, April 3, 2003, in her home.
She was a retired employee of the PA Liquor Control Board, and a former member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steelton.
She was the widow of John H. Turban, and is survived by two sons, George J. Bauman, Jr., of Frederick, MD, and Andrew A. Bauman, at home; four daughters, Nancy E. Eder of New Port Ritchie, FL, Geraldine J. Coulliette of Suffolk, VA, Julianna G. Stoner of Chambers Hill, and Mary Catherine Scheib of Bressler; one sister, Carrie Horner of Somerset; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Ann Parsons.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton, with Rev. Thomas Graham, pastor of Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.

JOHN J. COLUMBO
John J. Columbo, 74, of Hummelstown, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, in his home.
He was a retired Correctional Officer for the State Correctional Facility, Camp Hill; served as an Army Veteran, Rct.-PFC 1947-1948; Navy Veteran, GMSN 1950-1952 on the USS Chloris and the Marine Corps Reserves through 1958. He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Township; the Lawton American Legion Post 998; and the Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Columbo.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Caroline Bria Columbo, whom he married June 3, 1961 in the former St. Ann's Church, Steelton; his children, Carmela Coover and her husband, Robert of Dillsburg, Christine Glinski and her husband, Patrick of Pittsburgh, and John Columbo of Philadelphia; one brother, Carmen Columbo of Arizona; two sisters, Conjetta Fanelli of Marcus Hook, PA and Carmelia MacNeil of Chadsford, PA. As a loving grandfather, his happiest days were spent with his grandchildren, Juliana and Jacob.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10, 2003 at 11:30 a.m., in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.

DONALD M. WOOLF
Donald M. Woolf, 54 of Harrisburg died Saturday, April 12, 2003 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
He worked in the ship parts department at Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of the Former William Penn High School class of 1966 and Penn State University, class of 1977. A member of the West Shore YMCA, an avid music lover and Civil War Buff.
He is survived by his Mother Frances Woolf with whom he lived with and several cousins. He was proceeded in death by his father Maurice Woolf.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003 in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home 23rd and Derry Streets Harrisburg. Burial Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home.

MICHAEL A. HARAMIJA
Michael A. Haramija, 89, of 1127 South 18th Street, Harrisburg, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a Army Veteran of World War II, serving as a Medic; a retired printer for the Commonwealth of PA; former employee of Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown; Indiantown Gap and Millers Printing Co.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, Bishop J. W. Shanahan Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Knights of Columbus Council #3501, Middletown; National Association of Retired Federal Employees, B.P.O. of the Elks Lodge No. 12, Harrisburg; Oberlin Lions Club; Steelton Italian Club; Hershey Italian Lodge; VFW Post 710; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 382; 50 Plus Club; Harrisburg Coin Club; PA Association of Retired State Employees; Central PA Chapter of Sports Hall of Fame; John Harris Chapter of Issac Walton League; St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13 Croatian Fraternal Union; Senior AdultMinistry and Past President of the Friendship Fire Co. No. 1, Bressler. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed traveling.
He was the widower of Mary Schneider Haramija and is survived by two sisters, Mary A. Haramija and Katherine H. Melvin, both of Bressler; his companion, Adeline Simmons of Hershey and many friends.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, in Price of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser, his pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9 until 10 a.m., on Monday, in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton.

HELEN M. MATTHEWS
Helen M. Foesel Matthews, 92, of 20 Hartzdale Drive, Camp Hill, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in Claremont Nursing Home, Middlesex Twp.
She was a retired employee of the Harrisburg Children's Dress Co., with 30 years of service. She was a former member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Steelton and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, the National Council of Catholic Women and an avid bowler.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth H. Toniola of Camp Hill and Jean Marie Winans of Huber Heights, Ohio; a son, Thomas P. Matthews of Middletown; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, in Price of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. GENEVIEVE M. BRESKI KAMENAR
Genevieve M. Breski Kamenar, 74, of 669 South Front Street, Steelton, died Friday, April 18, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Susan M. LaVia, 6109 Summit Pointe Drive, Lower Paxton Township.
She was a retired sales associate for Bon-Ton Department Stores and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and St. Lawrence Lodge #13, Croatian Fraternal Union.
She was the widow of Peter S. Kamenar, Sr. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by one son, Peter S. Kamenar, Jr., of Bressler; her mother, Mary A. Breski of Swatara Township; one brother, James Breski of Swatara Township; and 2 grandchildren, Stephen and Mark Kamenar. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Baughman.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Samuel E. CORNELIUS J. McELWEE
Cornelius J. McElwee, 81, of Susquehanna Township, died Friday, April 25, 2003 in his home.
He was a retired Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission; a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, World War II; a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church; and past President of the former Athletic Association for Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament School; member of American Legion Post #1001, Susquehanna Township; member of Knights of Columbus; and was very active in numerous youth athletic activities.
He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick J. McElwee and is survived by his wife, Margaret B. McElwee; two sons, Neil M. McElwee and Aloysius J. McElwee, both of Susquehanna Township; three daughters, Sharon C. McElwee and Maureen M. Hochendoner, both of Lower Paxton Twp., and Catherine A. McElwee of Susquehanna Township; two sisters, Anna Sutula of Kingston and Mary Sherrock of Hazelton; six grandchildren, Patrick, Erin, A.J. McElwee, Dori Hoffer, Kristina and Heather Hochendoner; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Hoffer.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 7-9 p.m., in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg.

JOHN A. ROMBERGER
John A. Romberger, 76, of Harrisburg, died Thursday, April 24, 2003 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired Postmaster for the United States Postal Service; an Air Force Veteran of World War II; member of Derry Street United Methodist Church, Harrisburg; member of the Kabob Hiking Club and NARFE.
He is survived by his wife, Betty W. Reinhold Romberger; three sons, B. Asa Romberger of Alameda, CA, Richard E. Romberger of Duncannon, Kenneth A. Romberger of Middletown; one daughter, Kathryn E. Lavin of Cincinnati, OH; one step-son, Robert A. Woland of Harrisburg; one step-daughter, Jane L. Woland of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, Joseph Romberger and R. Kenneth Romberger, both of Millersburg; 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003 in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon-1 p.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home.

RICHARD ERIC MADARA
Richard Eric Madara, 33, loving son of Richard G. and Rosemarie R. (Bratina) Madara and devoted husband of Michelle H. Madara passed away at home in North Carolina on Monday, April 28, 2003.
He was born, December 7, 1969, attended the former St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and School in Steelton, graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, Class of 1988, and was a U.S. Army Veteran with the 82nd Airborne from September 1988 - July 1996, also served in Desert Storm. He was an electronics technician for Triangle Communications, Fayetteville, NC.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sisters, Laura Lee Minnich, Enola and Kristina Lynn Hosler, Fishing Creek, several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. He was the Godfather and Uncle to his nephew Nicholas Ryan Minnich.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 5, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 25th and Berryhill Streets, Harrisburg. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. A Viewing will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg.

Steve L. Szobocsan, Sr., 74, of 663 East Derry Rd., Hershey, died Thursday, May 1, 2003 in his home.
He was a retired rigger for Bethlehem Steel Corp., a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey.
He is survived by his wife, Louise C. Morelli Szobocsan; a son, Steve L., Jr. and his wife, Patti Szobocsan, Bainbridge; a stepson, Chris and his wife, Lisa Morelli, Hershey; two stepdaughters, Tina L. and her husband, Carl Avara, Mechanicsburg and Rosecarol E. and her husband, John Kennedy, New Cumberland; three sisters, Mary Coletti, Bradenton, Fl, Rose Marie and Elizabeth Szobocsan, both of Steelton; a brother, Louis Szobocsan, Tuscon, Arizona; six grandchildren, Jason and Steven Szobocsan, Matthew and Nathan Morelli, Alessia Avara, and Ann Margaret Kennedy. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey L. Szobocsan and three brothers, Joseph, John and Frank Szobocsan.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Raymond J. LaVoie, as celebrant. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Viewing will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton, PA.

Petra Sotomayor-Irizarry, 76, of Steelton, died Thursday, May 1, 2003 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She is survived by three sons, Azarael, Jose, and Raphael Irizarry; two daughters, Alma Paga and Marina Irizarry; two sisters, Alicia and Rosa Sotomayor; 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: A viewing will be held today from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery on Monday at 2:30 p.m.

PAULINA ORTIZ
Paulina Ortiz, 90, of Dauphin Manor and formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son, Edwin Ortiz, Swatara Twp.; one brother, David Monroig and one sister, Maria Toledo, both of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, 1439 Market Street, Harrisburg. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg. The rosary will be recited Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
