Mary B. "Mitz" Grubic, 86, of Swatara Twp., died Friday, July 11, 2003 in her home.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank P. Grubic; a son, Frank P. and his wife, Jeannie Grubic of Hershey; a daughter, Marlene M. and her husband, Adam C. Raudensky of Swatara Twp.; 2 grandchildren, Frank M. and his wife, Heather Grubic and Melissa M. and her husband, Drew Lawler; 2 great-grandchildren, Alexis and Zachary; 5 sisters, Ann Accorsi of Phoenix, AZ, Julia Matesevac, Barbara Cernugel, Gizella Zuvich, and Helen Tezak, all of Swatara Twp; numerous nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in the Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Steelton. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton.

Ann T. Salov Drabenstadt, 86, formerly of Dayton Road, Oberlin, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 in the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg, Lower Paxton Twp.
She was a retired seamstress for the former Kate Greenaway Dress Company, Harrisburg, and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.
She was the widow of George R. Drabenstadt, and is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. Mirenzi of Marysville; a son, Craig G. and his wife, Joann Drabenstadt of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Frances Husic of Steelton and Patricia Huntzinger of Palmyra; three grandchildren, Gina R. Mirenzi, Cory and Sara Drabenstadt.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, with Msgr. Hugh A. Overbaugh as celebrant. ALBERT ANTHONY GORNIK
Albert Anthony Gornik, 74, of Steelton, died Monday, July 14, 2003 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, discharged in 1952, serving as a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifetime resident of Steelton and a graduate of the former Harrisburg Catholic High School.
He and his father opened Gornik's Cafe at Front & Chestnut Streets, Steelton in 1952. In 1973, he and his wife built Al Gornik's Field House. As a pioneer of sports bars in the region, Albert, his field house and his sports enthusiasm made him a sports legend and landmark in Central PA. Albert and his love for the Steel-High Rollers, the Fighting Irish and the Packers were well known. He retired in 1992 and during the summers, he and his wife could be found at their summer home in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
He was a member of the former St. Peter's Roman Catholic Parish and a member of Princeof Peace Roman Catholic Parish, St. Aloysius Lodge 42 KSKJ, VFW Post 710, served on the Executive Committee of the PA Sports Hall of Fame, where he was recipient of their Meritorious Award in 1991. He served as a member of the Steelton Borough Council and Past Chairman of Steelton Borough Authority. He was Past President and Executive Committee member of the Sports Old Timers Association and served as a part time employee for the Dauphin Co. District Attorneys office.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Grace Ann Ohman Gornik; a son, David and his wife, Trish Gornik of Halifax; a daughter, Louise Ann and her husband, Edward Furlong of Camp Hill; two brothers, William Gornik of Boise, Idaho and Robert Gornik of Carlisle; four sisters, Genevieve Ozimac of Steelton, Catherine Botchie of Enhaut, Theresa Dabling of Salt Lake City, Utah and Pauline Breski of Enhaut; five grandchildren, MacKenzie Ryan, Logan Tyler, Brooke Ashley, Kyle Matthew and Evan Anthony; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Catherine Gornik and his brother, Louis Gornik.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors. A viewing will be held on Thursday, from 6 until 9 p.m., in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton, where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.

Robert H. Feaser, 95, of Susquehanna Township, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in his home.
He was the former owner and founder of the Robert H. Feaser Machine Shop - Harrisburg and a member of the United Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida R. Duncan Feaser and his daughter Dora Mae Feaser Deimler. He is survived by six sons, Nelson G. Feaser, Sr., Hummelstown, David A. Feaser, Carlisle, Robert H. Feaser, Vancouver, WA, Gerald D. Feaser, Punta Gorda, FL, Walter L. Feaser, Dauphin and Philip J. Feaser, Duncannon; two daughters Elaine M. Steele, Harrisburg and Roseanna Gaiderowitz, Conway, SC; five brothers, Marlin Feaser, Lebanon, Donald Feaser, Boiling Springs, Harold Feaser, Marysville, Stanley Feaser, New Cumberland, Ernest Feaser, Marietta; 52 grandchildren; 119 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.

Rosalie Valentine Kitner, 82, of ManorCare Health Services and formerly of 2462 Adrian Street, Harrisburg, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was the widow of Robert S. Kitner, Sr., and Raymond L. Musillo, and is survived by a son, Donald R. Musillo of Satellite Beach, Florida; a stepson, Robert S. Kitner, Jr., of Harrisburg; four sisters, Doris Schreiber of Harrisburg, Jean McClain of Dillsburg, Barbara Engle of Dallastown and Betty Smith of Collegeville; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Geraldine A. Wright Peters, age 84, of Hummelstown, died Friday, July 18, 2003 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was a retired supervisor for the former PA Department of Health and Welfare; was a former member of the Colonial Country Club; member of the V.F.W. Post #1687 Ladies Auxiliary, Hummelstown; an avid bowler in the Women's Wednesday Night League; a bingo player; and a trophy winning golfer.
She was the widow of Charles "Forney" Peters. Surviving are one son, Charles F. Peters, Jr., and wife, Jennette of Lower Paxton Twp.; three sisters, Della Reeder and husband, John of Palmyra, Romaine Ginder of Palmdale, and Betty Wallace of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two grandsons, Charles, "Steve" Peters and wife, Cynthia of Hummelstown, and Jason M. Peters of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Armand Merando, 90, of Ecumenical Community, Susquehanna Twp., and formerly of Springfield, Delaware Co., died Monday, July 21, 2003 in Community Osteopathic Hospital.
He was a retired Communications Engineer for the Associated Press with 48 years of service and also retired as a school bus driver for the Springfield School District with 11 years of service.
He was a life member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Springfield and attended St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp. He was a member of the Springfield Athletic Association, Bowling League, the Springfield Country Club and was an avid golfer.
He was the widower of Carmella Scrignieri Merando and is survived by one son, Robert J. and his wife, Marcia Merando of East Lansing, Michigan; two brothers, Peter Merando of Livingston Manor, NY and Anthony Merando of Lake Mary, Florida; five sisters, Mary Gallia of Gamby, MA, Yolanda Ferrantiof Highland Lakes, NJ, Regina Pawson of Indian River, MI, Anna Prestipano of Congers, NY and Josephine DiNuzzo, NYC.

Mary C. Hartman Miller, 95, of The Middletown Home, Lower Swatara Twp., and formerly of 535 N. Front Street, Steelton, died Sunday, July 27, 2003 in the home.
She was the retired owner and operator of H.A. Hartman & Son Moving & Storage Company, Steelton. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and an avid ballroom dancer.
She was the widow of Lee H. Miller and is survived by two nieces, Judith Moffett and her husband, Marlin of Harrisburg, and Norma N. Reynolds and her husband, Richard of Valpariso, Indiana; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and her caregivers, Ronald and Barbara Acri of Steelton.

He is survived by his wife, Laverne A. Conrad Gales; a son, Joseph E. Dale E. Raudenbush, 75, of Williamstown, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown.
He was a Supervisor and Roadmaster for Williams Township, a former reporter for the Harrisburg Evening News, a member of Williamstown United Methodist Church, Williamstown American Legion Post #239, member of the the Pennsylvania State Sportsman Association, having served as its reporter for 15 years, and an inductee into the Pennsylvania Sportsman Association Hall of Fame, and was a United States Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his sister, Beatrice Seiler and his nephew, Jeff Seiler, both of Tower City.

Henry Frishkorn, Jr.
Henry Frishkorn, Jr., 84, of Colonial Park, died Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., with 42 years of service and an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and its Tuesday Mass Group, St. Lawrence Club, the former Merry Ann Club and a graduate of Swatara Township High School, Class of 1937.
He was an avid fan of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers and the Boston Red Sox. He dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf and dancing the polka.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Grace M. Farina Frishkorn; a daughter, Cynthia A. Deik and her husband, Richard of Mechanicsburg; a son, Eric T. Frishkorn and his wife, Pamela of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Aaron, Paige and Luke Frishkorn; and two sisters, Kathryn James and Anna Kline, both of Enhaut. He was preceded in death by his parents, Heinrich and Elizabeth Frishkorn and a sister, Elizabeth Raudenski.
