Mark's own words seem a most appropriate reflection of his recent journey: When I can't walk the mountains high or look upon the valley floor and sigh when visions of the hunt don't come at night and I can no longer hold my daughters tight. When the Trapline does not matter to me and I'm poor or I just can't saddle up and ride anymore, and the Northern Lights I no longer see, the Owl will be my keeper and God has the key. I want no loved ones or friends to shed their tears, you must all be strong like that big Grizzly Bear. As I told my girls almost every night, remember the Lion King story, what Simba was told, look up at the sky and stars at night, I'll always be there to comfort you, his dad was right. So don't be sad or even blue, I'll be in a better place than you. Don't hold others at fault for me, forgive not forget is Life's secret you see. I chose my own path, for this I must pay, remember hate and anger destroys they say. As the Mother of Twins will never believe, my love is forever, not like leaves on a tree. So now I must go and see an old friend, Chaz my horse my true best friend. If I'm not too tired when I get there tonight, we'll saddle up and go for that last ride.
