Patrick C. Bekelja, Sr., 48, of 2111 S. Front Street, Steelton, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a diesel mechanic for Hempt Bros. Quarry, Steelton, a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and an Army Veteran of Desert Storm.
He was a member of the Friendship Fire Co., Bressler, St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13, Croatian Fraternal Union, St. Marys Club and the Fifth Ward Republican Club.
He is survived by one son, Patrick C. Bekelja, Jr. of Highspire; four brothers, Rudolph L.C. Bekelja of York, Richard A. Bekelja of Bressler, John T. Bekelja of Oberlin and Anthony T. Bekelja of Lewisberry; two sisters, Joan Marie Anthony of Santa Clara, CA and Anne E. Hoffman of Middletown; and one granddaughter, Alyssa Lou Bekelja. He was preceded in death by twin brothers.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser, as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton.

Ryan L. Mohn
Ryan L. Mohn, 16, of 529 Pine Street, Steelton, died Saturday, February 7, 2004 in M.S. Hershey Medical Center from injuries suffered in a traffic accident.
He was an honor student in the Junior Class of Steelton-Highspire High School, where he participated as a starting pitcher for the baseball team, the basketball team and starting quarterback for the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers football team. He was a member of the History and Literature Club and was nominated for the National Honor Society. Ryan was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where he served as President of the Church Youth Group.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald L. Mohn, Jr. and Alison G. Hoover Mohn; a sister, Cristen Janell Mohn, at home; his paternal grandparents, Ronald L. Mohn, Sr. and Joan A.Thrasher Mohn of Steelton; his maternal grandmother, Martha Diveley Hoover of Steelton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday in Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin E. Hughes, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.

Delmas K. Fissel
Delmas K. Fissel, 82, of Harrisburg, died Sunday, February 8, 2004 in the VA Medical Center, Lebanon.
He was a retired machinist for the former Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail and was an Army Veteran of World War II.
He was the widower of Miriam Grunden Fissel and is survived by several nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg, with Pastor Charles A. Harvey, Jr., his grandnephew, officiating. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 3211 N. Front Street, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

Anne L. Kerstetter Dougherty
Anne L. Kerstetter Dougherty, 81, of Seidle Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Care, Mechanicsburg and formerly of Camp Hill, died Monday, February 9, 2004 in the Hospital.
She was a homemaker and formerly volunteered at Villa Teresa Nursing Home.
She was the widow of William H. Dougherty. She is survived by a daughter, Colleen M. Powers, Harrisburg; one brother, Harry Kerstetter, Middletown; one sister, Viola Stryker, Sunbury; two grandchildren, Michelle and Timothy Mance and one great-grandson, Avery Mance, all of Harrisburg.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Private graveside services and burial will be held Friday, February 13, 2004 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

Edward P. Campbell, Jr.
Edward P. Campbell, Jr., 55, of 543 Benton Street, Harrisburg, died Monday, February 9, 2004 in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was a retired insurance consultant and broker for U.R.L. Senior Marketing, Inc. and C.J. Ritter Assoc., Inc. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 82nd Airborne Division, Long Range Patrol, 75th Ranger Infantry and the 173rd Airborne Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces and the Army Commendation Medal. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg and the Susquehanna Bonsai Club. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid horticulturist.
He is survived by his wife, Patty A. Szoke Campbell; three sons, Joseph E. Campbell and John J. Campbell, both of Harrisburg and James P. Campbell of Philadelphia; his mother, Mary Ann Mraovich Campbell of Harrisburg; one sister, Kathryn A. O'Brien of Harrisburg; one brother, Robert A. Campbell of Charleston, SC; one grandson, Adam J. Campbell; four nieces, nine nephews and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward P. Campbell.
FUNERAL SERVICES: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Bernard P. McGinley as celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg.

Richard E. Roberts
Richard E. "Dickie" Roberts, 70, of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired firefighter for the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire and a former employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the International Association of Firefighters Local 428, Harrisburg; VFW Post 710; American Legion Post 420; St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13, Croatian Fraternal Union; St. Marys Catholic Club, all of Steelton and the Ruler of the 180th Meridian.
He was the widower of Theresa A. Goffus Roberts and is survived by three daughters, Anna Marie Cross, Mary Jean Ditmer and Lori T. Stout, all of Harrisburg; three granddaughters, Jessica and Jenna Ditmer and Damaris Stout and his pet dog, Rusty.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp. A viewing will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.

Anthony N. Arlotta
Anthony N. "Tony" Arlotta, 72, of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, February 11, 2004 in his home.
He was a retired Fire and Safety Inspector for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and was a cook at Hersheypark.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley M. Arlotta; two sons, Roscoe Arlotta of Oregon and Monty Arlotta of Harrisburg; three daughters, Robin McMurray of Palmyra, Tonette Rivera and Jodi Johnston, both of Pittsburgh; several brothers and sisters, all of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 11 a.m., in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m., in the funeral home.

Dolores A. Klipa
Dolores A. Petrina Klipa, 72, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, February 15, 2004 in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Dolores was born in Harrisburg on July 10, 1931, to the late Veronica Kosevic and Stephen J. Petrina. She was the eldest of nine children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, a brother, Philip and her grandson, Jeremy Gross. Dolores is survived by daughter, Maureen Gross of New Cumberland; daughter, Christine and her son-in-law, David Desfor of Mechanicsburg and daughter, Joyce and son-in-law, Timothy Norris of New Cumberland; brothers, Gilbert Petrina and his wife, Roseann of Elizabethtown, Bernard Petrina and his wife, Nancy of Harrisburg, Stephen Petrina and his wife, Cheri of Manada Hill and John Petrina and his wife, Vicky of Harrisburg; sisters, Dotty Tarlecki of Harrisburg, Martha and her husband, Scott Williamson of Huntingdon and Mary Ellen and her husband, T.J. of Oakridge, TN; two granddaughters, Tara Gross and Natasha Norris; five grandsons, Ryan H., Zachary P., Christian T., Brooks T. Norris and Matthew R. Desfor. Additionally there are an aunt, Kathryn Lamison, a sister-in-law, Carol A. Petrina, wife of the late Philip Petrina; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Dolores was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and a former member of the Fifty Plus Club. She was a member of a group of women who catered many weddings in the Steelton area. She was the inspiration behind a local outreach that provided amenities and many letters of encouragement and thanks to U.S. Soldiers in Iraq. She was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School and attended Cooking/Craft classes at Messiah Village. Some of her favorite past times were seeing What's Cooking with Emeril, bingo, watching mass on television, praying the Rosary and enjoying time with her grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser and Rev. John A. Acri as concelebrants. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton. Recitation of the Rosary at 8:30 p.m.
The family wishes to graciously thank the staff at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home for their compassionate and loving care.

Hugh L. Rodgers
Hugh L. Rodgers, 64, of Swatara Township, died Sunday, February 15, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired accountant for Steelton-Highspire Railroad and a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School, Class of 1957 and the Butera School of Art, Boston.
He was a former member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Steelton, and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, where he served as Chairman of the Parish Holy Name Society Blood Bank. He was a Past Grand Knight and Third Degree member of the former Bishop Joseph T. Daley Council 3625, Knights of Columbus; a member of Knights of Columbus Council 4068, Camp Hill; a former Board Member for the Holy Name Society Blood Bank; and Past President of the Steelton Jaycees.
Hugh was the son of the late Hugh R. and Mary Ellen Lawler Rodgers and is survived by his wife, Yvonne K. Button Rodgers; a son, Ryan G. and his wife, Brooke M. Rodgers of East Manchester Twp.; a daughter, Shannon R. and her husband, James Fox of New York City; four brothers, Raymond F. Rodgers of Swatara Twp., Thomas J. Rodgers of Camp Hill, William G. Rodgers of Harrisburg, who donated a kidney to his brother, Hugh 10 years ago, and Richard M. Rodgers of Steelton; two sisters, Rosemary T. Flamini of Steelton and Patricia A. Griffith of Jacksonville, FL; and a grandson, Logan K. Rodgers. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christina L. Rodgers.

John J. Kelly
John J. Kelly, 87, of Beaufont Towers, Richmond, Virginia and formerly of 660 N. 67th Street, Rutherford, died Sunday, February 22, 2004 in Lucy Corr Village, Richmond, VA.
He was a retired salesman for Olewine's Inc., Harrisburg; an Army Veteran of World War II; a former member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Steelton; member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp. and American Legion Post 998, Lawnton.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Bratina Kelly; two sons, Rev. John J. Kelly, OSFS, Highpoint, NC and Robert E. Kelly of Richmond, VA; two daughters, Mary B. Barclay of Richmond, VA and Kathleen A. Kelly-Bruce of Springfield, VA; a sister, Marie Burns of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Erin and Matthew Barclay and Michael Bruce.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Swatara Twp., with Rev. John J. Charles R. "Sonny" Filbey
Charles R. "Sonny" Filbey, 60, of Londonderry Township, and formerly of Harrisburg, died Sunday, February 22, 2004 in his home.
He retired as the Address Information System Manager with the United States Postal Service, Harrisburg, and also managed the Window Section. He was a member of the National Association of Postal Supervisors; a graduate of the former John Harris High School, Class of 1961 and received an Associate Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College. He was a past president of the Bellevue Park Association, a member of Boy Scouts of America - Order of the Arrow, and a U.S. Army Veteran, having served three years in Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Virginia M. Buser Filbey, two aunts and several cousins.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Louis P. Ogden officiating. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, in the funeral home.

Elizabeth A. Willis
Elizabeth A. Frye Willis, 73, of 3605 Kohler Place, Camp Hill, died Saturday, February 21, 2004 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was a retired nurses aide at the Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown and Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg. She was a former member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Steelton.
She was the widow of James R. Willis. She is survived by three sons, James R. Willis, Jr. of Tom Bean, Texas, J. Daniel Willis of Naples, FL, and Gary L. Willis of Steelton; one daughter, Norma Jean Graul of Mechanicsburg; one brother, Adam Frye of Harrisburg; four sisters, Helen Goodhart of Mechanicsburg, Margaret Billet of York, Ann Meyer of Harrisburg and Cecelia Fertenbaugh of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 South Second Street, Steelton, with Rev. Samuel E. Houser officiating. Committal services and inurnment will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Chapel of Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.

Mildred M. Schriver
Mildred M. Heimerdinger Schriver, 91, of Harrisburg, died Saturday, February 21, 2004 in the West Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of 29th Street United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Howard H. Schriver and is survived by one brother, Philip C. Heimerdinger of Mechanicsburg; one niece and two nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd & Derry Streets, Harrisburg. Burial in Shoop's Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
