Guillermina "Mina" (Garcia) Navarro, 58, of 1340 Dayton Road, Oberlin, died Friday, October 15, 2004 in her home.
She was member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, crafts and floral designing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a devout Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Pasqual Navarro; two sons, Michael A. Navarro and Richard D. Navarro, both of Harrisburg; one daughter, Anita M. Wasko and her husband, Chris of Carlisle; one brother, Salvador Garcia of Harrisburg; two sisters, Alicia Garcia of Peoria, IL and Martha L. Torres of Hummelstown; three grandchildren, Amanda and Quinn Wasko and Natalia Navarro.

Robert Hibbard, 81, of Lower Paxton Twp., died Sunday, October 31, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
He was the retired President of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce; graduate of Pennsylvania State University; Army Veteran of World War II and Korea; retired Lt. Colonel, U.S. Army Reserve.
His former appointments include, Vice Chairman - State Board of Private Business Schools, Chairman - PA Chamber of Business and Industry Employee Benefit Fund, Vice Chairman and Commissioner - Susquehanna Twp, Director - Northwestern Corporation, Montgomery County, President - Addicted Disease Clinic, Harrisburg, President - Malvern Institute, President - Council of State Chamber of Commerces.
He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Colonial Country Club, Tuesday Club, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Harrisburg Trade Association Executives, PA Chamber of Commerce Executives.
He was instrumental in organizing the Pennsylvania for Effective Government and the Mid-Atlantic Legal Foundation and was co-founder of PA Council on Economic Education and the MILRITE Council.
He was the widower of Betty Jane Kearney Hibbard and is survived by two daughters, Diane Spanitz, Harrisburg and Elaine Groff, Lancaster; three granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Edward C. Gallagher
Edward C. Gallagher, 89, of Mechanicsburg and former longtime resident of Penbrook, died Saturday, November 6, 2004 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born in East Mauch Chunk, PA, he was the son of James E. Gallagher and Anne McGonigle Gallagher, the youngest of four brothers.
He grew up in Allentown, graduated from Allentown Catholic High School and attended Lehigh University. He retired as a 34 year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police. One of his favorite memories was giving former President Eisenhower his PA Drivers Exam. When his children were young, he visited their schools as the Safety Officer, lecturing and showing instructional films.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg, B.P.O.E. Lodge #1092, Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #41, and Past President of the Retired State Police Association.
He enjoyed reading, cards, and crossword puzzles and traveled over much of the U.S. with his wife, Jane and their friends the Smiths.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Weber Gallagher, whom together celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends last February. In addition to his wife Jane, he leaves three children and their families, a son, James E., and his wife, Josie of Harrisburg and their sons, Michael J. of Baltimore, MD, Joseph E. and his wife, Heather (Fraser) of Philadelphia, and Daniel P. of Harrisburg; daughters, Julie A. Gallagher of Hopkintown, MA, and Diane L. Acri and her husband, Albert of Harrisburg.

Elizabeth M. Matkovic Zerance, 99, of Enhaut, died Friday, November 5, 2004 in her home.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
She was the widow of John A. Zerance, Sr. and is survived by four sons, John A. Zerance, Jr. and his wife, Judith of Atlantic Beach, NC, Raymond E. Zerance and his wife, Sandy of Harrisburg, Donald J. Zerance and his wife, Rose of Enhaut and Eugene P. Zerance and his wife, Charlotte of Harrisburg; four daughters, Elizabeth "Libby" Zerance at home, Ethel A. Gorshin of Landisville, Marie P. Zerance at home and Jane F. Vollrath of Chambers Hill; one son-in-law, Edward Weiss and his wife, Kathy of Hershey; one sister, Ann T. Placey of Steelton; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 7 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita A. Zerance Weiss.

David A. Rastovac, 33, of Bressler, died Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in his home.
He was an employee of Taylor-Wharton Cylinders, Inc., Harrisburg and a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, Class of 1990.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Friendship Fire Company, Bressler, St. Aloysius Lodge No. 42, KSKJ, and St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13, Croatian Fraternal Union.
He is survived by two sons, Nicholas David Rastovac and Alec Ryan Rastovac, both of Paxtang; his mother, Gloria A. Plesic Rastovac of Bressler; his father, John J. Rastovac of Camp Hill; a twin brother, John R. Rastovac, at home; his companion, Luann Hershey of Lower Paxton Twp.; a niece, Lauren Rastovac and a nephew, Trenton Rastovac; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Frank M. Grafl, 48, of Lower Paxton Township, died Sunday, November 14, 2004 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
He was a lifelong farmer, a loyal son and a dedicated friend and neighbor. He worked at Snap-On Tools for 25 years and enjoyed going to farm sales. He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Township.
He was the son of the late Frank P. and Margaret Benkovic Grafl and is survived by three cousins, Elizabeth, Mary and Joseph Salinger, all of Baltimore, MD.

A. Jack Gross, 92, of Susquehanna Twp., died Thursday, November 18, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired Vice President for Miller's Auto Supply, Harrisburg and a former consultant for the PA Automotive Association. He was a former Board Member and Treasurer for Blue Ridge Country Club, where he was an avid golfer until the age of 90.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeanette Sherer Gross; two daughters, Barbara Rein and her husband, Jeffrey of Laurel, MD and Harriet DeFilippo and her husband, Michael of Chambers Hill; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Dimko V. Angeloff, Jr.; one son, Dr. Christopher L. Spizzieri of Union Deposit; two step-daughters, Pamela M. Hoover of Summerdale and Kimberly M. Conaway of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Jacob Stoss, Jr. of Marysville and Michael Stoss of Harrisburg; one sister, Carolyn Hollern of Wyndmoor; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Selena M. Angeloff.

Virginia F. "Jinny" Wolf Weaver
Virginia F. "Jinny" Weaver, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2004 at her home.
Born in Harrisburg, she was the widow of Paul "Manny" Weaver. Jinny was a graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1939 and was a continued supporter of Harrisburg High School and their athletic programs.
She was retired from the Pennsylvania State Lottery, as the Executive Secretary to the director, a member of Derry Street United Methodist Church, Capital City Chapter of Eastern Star and a former member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Surviving are her four children, a son, Jim Weaver and his wife, Traci of Blacksburg, VA; daughters, Peggy Weaver-Lane and husband, Richard, Ginger Weaver-Zozos and husband, George and Wendy Weaver-Carter and husband, Thomas, all of Harrisburg; eleven grandchildren, Kelly, Brandy, Marlo, Josh, Stacie, Paul, Cole, Paul, Carlin, Bradin and Craig; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Sydney, Jacob and Joshua.

William Bowman Johnson
William Bowman Johnson, 80, died Saturday, November 20, 2004 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born on January 20, 1924, the son of the late Merle and Ruth Bowman Johnson.
He was a graduate of John Harris High School, Hershey Junior College and George Washington University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of WWII, serving with the fourth Marine Air Wing in the South Central Pacific. He enjoyed a long career as a Claims Adjustor with CNA Insurance Company, retiring after 35 years. He was a member of Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church and was active in the Church's Fellowship and Christian Education Activities.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence, who died on December 8, 1988 and is survived by his brother, Frederick Johnson, Canandaigua, NY; his son, William Johnson, Harrisburg; two daughters, Barbara Johnson (McArthur), Springfield, VA and Lynn Cole, Asheville, NC. He also enjoyed the company of his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Harrisburg and a graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1933.
She was the widow of William C. Miller and is survived by a daughter Shirley and her husband LeRoy Baddorf, Jr., Harrisburg; two granddaughters Karen Miller, Harrisburg and Kathy Wertz, Halifax and five great-grandchildren, Rebecca Mundy, Rachel, Jessica, Stephanie and Daniel Wertz.

Joanne E. Albaneze Spochart, age 61, of Swatara Twp., died Saturday, November 27, 2004 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was a retired computer programmer for the former Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot and a former part-time employee for Health America. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, where she volunteered at the office preparing the weekly bulletin; volunteered for PAWS, and was a member of the St. Aloysius Lodge #42, American Slovenian Catholic Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Plut Albaneze and is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ronald W. Spochart; two sisters, Helen L. Donato of Rutherford Heights and Bernadette Jones of York; one brother, John Albanese of Hershey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a retired police communications operator for the PA State Police, Troop H, with 28 years of service; former employee of Thompson Products, Harrisburg and volunteered at the former Polyclinic Hospital.
She was the widow of William P. Hoyer, Sr. Surviving are one daughter, Barbara A. Hacker of Elliottsburg; two sons, William P. Hoyer, Jr., of Swatara Twp. and Scott A. Hoyer of Linglestown; two brothers, David D. Dolbin, Jr., of Shippensburg and Michael Dolbin of Susquehanna Twp.; and five grandchildren.

Jannette L. Hilmer Zehring, age 70, of Upper Allen Twp., died Thursday, November 25, 2004 in the Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was a retired self-employed housekeeper, member of the Faith Tabernacle Congregation Church and attended the Messiah Village Senior Day Care Program.
She was preceded in death by three sons, one daughter, one grandson and her husband of 29 years, Frederick W. Zehring, Sr.
Surviving are three sons, Frederick W. Zehring, Jr. of Boiling Springs, Daryl D. Zehring of Susquehanna Twp., Rodney D. Zehring of Etters; five daughters, Wanda L. Manning of Lower Paxton Twp., Valerie L. Zehring, with whom she resided, Donna J. Funk of South Lebanon Twp., Denise L. Houseman of Etters and Rebecca M. Bloom of Fairview Twp.; one brother, Charles Hilmer of Wormleysburg; three sisters, Dorothea Hilmer, Beverly Whittington and Yvonne Hilmer, all of Middletown; fifteen grandchildren and expecting the birth of her sixteenth grandchild shortly; and three great-grandchildren.
