Dolores Orzell Hayes
Dolores Orzell Hayes, 78, of Onondaga Hill, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse on December 13, 1925, she was the daughter of Joseph Orzell and Marie Theresa Filipiak. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and communicant of St. Michael's Church, Onondaga Hill. Dolores was also an auxiliary member and long-time supporter of the Chadwick Residence, and had been active with Vera House. An avid golfer, she was a member of the West Hill Ladies Golf League.
A devoted wife and homemaker, Dolores took great pride and joy in her children and grandchildren, and was active in their lives. Genealogy, sewing, and gardening were also among her interests.
Her husband, Carl A. Hayes, passed away in January, and son James in 1981. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Orzell.
Surviving are her daughters: Roberta Zerrahn of Farmington, Nancy (Ralph) Cinnamon of Onondaga Hill; sons: J. Kevin (Mary) of Camillus, Robert (Judy) of Liverpool, Patrick (Christine) of Weedsport and Douglas of Onondaga Hill; 16 grandchildren: C.J. Hillebrant, Joanne Haremza, Jeffrey Hayes, Emily Hayes, Stacey Hayes, Eric Cinnamon, Andrea Cinnamon, Brian Cinnamon, Jamie Hayes, Daniel Hayes, Patrick Hayes, Stephen Hayes, Amanda Wirth, Whitney Wirth, Aaron Wirth and Jakob Wirth and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2004 at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Sunday, October 10, 2004 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.

Joan Banach Dillon
Joan Banach Dillon, 75, of Fairmount, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Community General Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Saturday, January 12, 1929, she was the daughter of Edward J. Banach and Cecelia Neumayer. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a senior clerk for the State of New York Surrogate Court. Joan was a communicant of Holy Family Church for 12 years and member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was also a long-time supporter of the food pantry and local youth groups. She was a former communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church.
Interests of Joan’s included shopping with family and friends, reading and collecting angels. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her heart.
Surviving are her three daughters: Joan (Patrick) Marshall of Warners, Peg (Terry) Curtin of Onondaga Hill and Carol (Ronald) Zoll of Fairmount; two sisters: Cecelia Racht and Katherine Paige, both of Syracuse; seven grandchildren, Patrick J., Rebecca A. and Peter J. Marshall, Joe and Ted Curtin and Andrew and Meghan Zoll and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2004 at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 1 p.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Mary "Betty" Hebert
Mary “Betty” Hebert, 76, of 2971 Warners Rd., Warners, died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at home. Born on Wednesday, September 5, 1928, she was the daughter of Joseph Alfonse Millet and Elsie M. Mayette. She was born in Plattsburgh and lived there until moving to Syracuse in 1947. She lived in Camillus for seven years until moving to Warners in 1968.
Betty was formerly employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. in Fairmount. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a member of the CNY Area American Ex-Prisoners of War, Inc.
Betty enjoyed spending time with children. Other interests of hers included flower gardening and watching hummingbirds.
Her grandson, Chad Hebert, died in 1997. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Theresa Cahill and Pat Adams, and brother, Richard Millet.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Donald C. Hebert; sons: Donald J. of Utica and Ronald A.(Carol), Rodney P. and James C., all of Warners; daughter: Dawn M. (Erik) Willenborg of Marcellus; sisters: Barbara Bradt of Liverpool, Rita Zambito of Rochester, Jean Crisp of Tampa, Florida, Susan Millet of Cortland and Sandra Cerio of Cicero; brothers: Robert Millett of Schuyler Falls, John Millet of Liverpool, Gerald Millet of Syracuse and George Tom Millet of Minoa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 19 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Catherine P. "Pat" Ryan
Catherine Patricia “Pat” Ryan, 63, formerly of Camillus, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 in Austin, Texas. Born in Syracuse on Thursday, June 12, 1941, she was the daughter of Charles Hepfner and Catherine McLaughlin.
Pat lived in Camillus for 25 years and was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. She was a legal secretary and former communicant of Holy Family Church.
Her husband, John James Ryan, Jr., died April 12, 2002.
Surviving are her daughter: Sarah Ryan of Greencastle, Indiana; son: Matthew Ryan of Austin, Texas; brothers: James Hepfner of Dallas, Texas and Richard Hepfner; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Scott Ryan and son-in-law, Dorian Shager.

William "Bill" Hryvko
William “Bill” Hryvko, 74, of Camillus, died Nov. 21, 2004 at home. Born in Auburn on Sept. 18, 1930, he was the son of Nicholas Hryvko and Julia Timanik. He lived in Camillus for 48 years.
Bill was a 1949 graduate of Auburn High School and was a maintenance supervisor for General Electric Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1990. He was a communicant of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Auburn. He also served as president of the former St. Michael’s Orthodox Church “R” Club and was a member of the church board. Bill was predeceased by his daughter Karen in 1984 and two sisters, Mary Speck and Irene Rodak.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Betty Kosct; daughter: Kathy E. Hryvko of Camillus; brothers-in-law, Joseph Speck of Auburn and Mike Rodak of Camillus and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Denise Gasiorowski
Denise Gasiorowski, 23, of Solvay, died Monday, November 22, 2004 at home. A lifetime resident of Solvay, she was a 1998 graduate of Solvay High School and attended Mt. St. Mary’s, Le Moyne College and Syracuse University. Denise was employed by the Le Moyne College Bookstore.
Surviving are her parents: Walter and Christine (Brostek) Gasiorowski of Solvay; sister: Nicole Gasiorowski of New York, New York; brother: Brian Gasiorowski of Charlotte, North Carolina; maternal grandmother: Renee Brostek of Solvay and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Louise Waterman
Louise H. Waterman, 92, of Camillus, died Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at home. Born and raised in Port Byron, she was the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Hadden. She lived in Camillus since 1939. She was a graduate of Cortland Normal School who taught in Port Byron and later taught social studies in the West Genesee Schools.
Louise was a former church organist at Skaneateles Methodist, Camillus Baptist and Camillus First Methodist Churches. She was a member of Camillus First United Methodist Church, Salvation Army Women´s Auxiliary and Owasco Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
A third-generation competitor in the New York State Fair, Louise won many awards for her jams, jellies and pickles.
Her husband of 65 years, Asaph “Ace” Waterman, died May 12, 2003.
Surviving are her daughter: Helen Lyons of Camillus; son: Richard Waterman of Marcellus; seven grandchildren: Barbara Kellar of New Britain, Pennsylvania; Richard Waterman, Jr. of Hampstead, Maryland; Mark Waterman of Bethel, Connecticut; Elizabeth Lyons of Camillus; Robert Lyons of Camillus; Andrew Lyons of Camillus and Daniel Lyons of Pennsville, New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Abigayle Kellar of New Britain, Pennsylvania; Shane Kellar of New Britain, Pennsylvania and Emily Lyons of Pennsville, New Jersey.

Teresa Kolloff
Teresa Kolloff, 80, of Fairmount, died Friday, December 11, 2004 at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on Friday, September 26, 1924, Terry was the daughter of Andrew Paul Kruly and Mary Simko. She lived in Syracuse since 1957. Terry was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Her husband of 55 years, Harold, died in 2003.
Surviving are her daughters, Beth (Robert) Riposo and Carolyn Tucker, both of Marcellus; son, Craig (Kim) Kolloff of Boston, Massachusetts and eight grandchildren.

Barbara J. Rinaldo
Barbara J. Rinaldo, 82, of Camillus, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the home of her granddaughter, Karen (Gerold) Feuer, Syracuse. Born in Locke on Sunday, May 14, 1922, she was the daughter of Howard Benjamin Jackson and Edith Baker.
Barbara was a graduate of Groton High School and lived in Warners until moving to Camillus in 1950. She was a former court clerk for the Town of Camillus for 27 years. A lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #8664, she was also a member of the Camillus Republican Club and Onondaga County Court Clerks Assn.
Barbara’s interests were many. Her travels took her to Australia, Alaska, Hawaii, South Carolina and Florida. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, flowers and birds. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the prize of her life!
Barbara’s husband, Anthony J. Rinaldo, died in 1969.
Surviving are her daughters, Sharon (Richard) Liss of Fairmount and Mary Anne (Thomas) Hennessey of Syracuse; son, Martin (Mary) Rinaldo of Camillus; five grandchildren, Benjamin and Nickolas Rinaldo, Karen Feuer, Danielle Pierce and Sean Hennessey, and three great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Feuer, Chloe’ Feuer and Adrianna Pierce.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Pastor Michael Grinnals officiating. Friends may call preceding the funeral from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.

Joseph A. Krisak
Joseph A. Krisak, 85, of Fairmount, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Community-General Hospital. Born in Bitumen, Pennsylvania on March 10, 1919, he was the son of Stephan Jacob Krisak and Mary Olex. He lived in Fairmount since 1955.
Joe was a buyer for 10 years and personnel director for 10 years for Speno Rail Service for 21 years, retiring in 1984. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Fairmount VFW. He was also an active member of Camillus Senior Citizens for years and served on its board of directors. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Sarah Yemma; son, David J. Krisak of Fairmount; sisters, Veronica MacDonald of Nichols and Rose Krisak of Horseheads and brother Edward of Eastwood.

Lucille M. Rice
Lucille M. Rice, 79, of Camillus, died Thursday January 20, 2005 at home. Born in Syracuse on Sunday, July 12, 1925, she was the daughter of August Frank Angrick and Martha Celia Perkowski. Lucille lived in Camillus for 48 years. She was a homemaker and past leader of the Camp Fire Girls. She was also a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Harold; children, Joanne Harvey of Merrimack, New Hampshire, Harold R. of North Hampton, Massachusetts, John M. of Bedford, New Hampshire and Mary Curry of Camillus; sister, Marian Sampo of Syracuse; four grandsons, one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas J. Fero
Thomas Joseph Fero, 61, of Camillus, died January 20, 2005. Born in Syracuse on Thursday, September 23, 1943, he was the son of John Eckman Fero and Josephine Anne Bednarcik. He lived in Camillus since 1968.
Tom served as Camillus First Ward Town Councilman for 5½ years. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division from 1962 to 1965. Tom also served the New York State Police for 27 years, retiring as a Zone Sergeant in 1993. He was vice president of the Camillus West Homeowners Association. He was a member of the VFW Knifetown Post #1540, Camillus Rod & Gun Club and the Association of Former New York State Troopers.
Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed jet skiing, boating and playing pool at his summer home on Sandy Pond.Most important to him was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, the former Yolanda Mastrogiovanni; mother, Josephine Fero of Syracuse; daughters, Renee (Rudy) Simmons of New Paltz and Lisa (John) Bloom of Camillus; brothers, John (Barb) Fero of Syracuse and James (Jeanne) Fero of Chittenango; sister, Marguerite (Richard) Montross of Chittenango; grandsons, Thomas, Christopher and Matthew; granddaughter, Mikayla and several nieces and nephews.
Tom is predeceased by his son, Thomas, Jr., in 1990.

Frances E. Ennis
Frances Elizabeth Ennis, formerly of Syracuse, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Born in Oswego on Sunday, January 17, 1926, she was the daughter of Judd Dehm and Edna Henderson. She was retired from St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center and was formerly employed by Loblaw´s, Brinks, Daw’s Drugs and Bishop Ludden.
Fran enjoyed traveling. An avid golfer, she was a past member of Pine Grove Country Club. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her sons, Jack of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Patrick of Littleton, Colorado and Thomas of Imperial, Pennsylvania; brothers, Joseph and Paul Dehm, both of Oswego; sisters, Elizabeth Saraceno of Endicott, Bernice Knight of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania and Joan Knoop of Oswego; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, John, died April 24, 1996.

Virginia I. Beney
Virginia I. (Martinsen) Beney, 77, of Camillus, died Saturday, January 22, 2005. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on Friday, February 4, 1927 and was the daughter of Lloyd and Violet Martinsen. Mrs. Beney lived in Niagara Falls until moving to Camillus in 1964 and resided at The Nottingham in Jamesville for the past two years. She was a graduate of LaSalle High School, served as a member of the Prince of Peace Altar & Rosary Society and was a communicant of St. Joseph´s Church. She was employed by Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls in the 1950's and Le Moyne College Bursar´s Office until her retirement in 2000.
Mrs. Beney is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Richard J. Beney, who died May 2, 2003 and by her sister, Violet E. Frank, who died in 1964.
Surviving are her five children, Kathleen Beney (Thomas Lenkiewicz) of Syracuse, Michael Beney (Sharon) of Camillus, Daniel Beney (Christine) of Boston, Anne-Marie Ark (The Hon. John Ark) of Rochester and Susan Beney of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Cheryl (Richard) Robinson of Amherst; one brother, Lloyd Martinsen of California; nine grandchildren, Bridget, Tom, Jack and Maggie Lenkiewicz, Sean Beney, Marissa and Sophia Beney, Jake and Megan Ark and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Anne Bohosian
Elizabeth Anne Bohosian, 64, of Lakeland, died Monday, January 24, 2005 at home. The daughter of William McAleer and Florence White, she was born in Manlius on Tuesday, May 14, 1940. She grew up in Manlius, was a longtime resident of Fairmount and more recently resided in Lakeland. Elizabeth was a 1958 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Charles G. Bohosian, of Syracuse; daughter, Jeannie (John) Klix of Lakeland; sons, Scott of West Seneca and Daryll of Fairmount; sister, Jeannie Rayfield of Jamesville; brother, Robert McAleer of Manlius and grandchildren, Alexander Bohosian and Jennifer Rose Klix.
Her brother, William McAleer, died in June 2004.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2005 in Corpus Christi Church, South Onondaga, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis J. Hayes.
