Mr. Miller was born March 19, 1944, in Detroit and died June 24 at his home in Detroit.
Surviving are his children, Dorothy (Gary) Tieppo of Westland, Linda (Tom) Patterson, Aleise (Mike) Fair and Jeanie (Don) Alt; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Six brothers and sisters, and his companion, Kathy Steffan, also survive.

RUTH L. GRIFFITHS
A memorial service for Ruth Griffiths, 79, of Livonia will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Griffiths was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Detroit and died June 25 in Livonia. She was a switchboard operator for Stahl Manufacturing, retiring in 1988 after 25 years of service. She was a 1940 graduate of Cooley High School. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Clifford; son, Jeffrey Griffiths of Oakland, Calif.; daughters, Pam (David) Lange of Redford and Dianne Fazzio of Westland; brothers, Robert (Phyllis) Guntzviller of Redford and Warren (Gladys) Guntzviller of Mt. Clemens; sister, Thelma (Howard) Brown of New Port Richey, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Zirkle-Paillon was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Grosse Pointe, and died June 19 in Westland. She had been a Westland resident six years. She was self-employed in a child care center. She was a graduate of Garden City East High School. Mrs. Zirkle-Paillon enjoyed taking care of children, planting flowers and photography.
Surviving are her husband, Norman; mother, Bonnie Zirkle; brother, Lary (Noreen) Zirkle; stepchildren, Kimberlee, Angelique and Norman Paillon; and nephews, Timothy, Brandon and Brian Zirkle.

Mr. Lohn was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Livonia, and died May 21 at his home in Westland. He grew up in Livonia. He graduated from Livonia Bentley High School and attended Schoolcraft College.
Mr. Lohn worked at GM Hydramatic at Willow Run. He was a veteran, serving with the Navy.
Surviving are his children, Michael (Debbie) of Westland, Deborah (Michael) of Livonia and Linda Lohn of Westland; the children's mother, Colleen; brothers, Russell and Ronald; and five grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Owen, Lauren and Aidan.
Mr. Lohn was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Robbin.

She was an elementary school teacher who formerly worked in the Wayne-Westland school district. She also served on the Westland Commission on Aging, the Westland Historical Commission, the Ladies Auxiliary of Harris-Kehrer VFW Post 3323, and the Friends of the Museum.
