Dr. Roberto Felix Dominguez of Hixson died Thursday, April 13, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 80.
A native of Camaguey, Cuba, Dr. Dominguez was a retired medical doctor who had worked at Moccasin Bend Hospital. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Isaberlta Marquez Dominguez; son, Roberto A. Dominguez; brothers, Louis and George Dominguez; sisters, Merrella, Megdalea, and Memerba Dominguez, all of Miami.
A prayer service will be today at 7 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Hofstetter and the Rev. John O'Neal officiating.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was a member of Stephen Temple Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from Seaboard Farms.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond and Larry Brown; two daughters, Daphne Brown and Barbara Davidson, all of Chattanooga; two brothers, John L. McCrary, Chattanooga, and Richard McCrary, Huntsville, Ala.; five sisters, Dilcie Stallworth, Barbara Tucker, and Frances Graves, all of Atlanta, and Constance Pope and Linda McCrary, both of Huntsville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Stephen Temple Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ernest Jefferson officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

She was the widow of Douglas Kinard.

Manker B. Smedley of Apison, Tenn., died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at his home. He was 79.
Mr. Smedley retired from Erlanger Medical Center as assistant director of plant operations and was formerly employed with Cavalier Furniture for 20 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Apison Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Poe Smedley; son, John Smedley, Apison; daughter, Gloria Green, Chattanooga; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
