Frank Baggett
Frank H. Baggett died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at a local hospital. He was 84.
Mr. Baggett was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church. He was retired from Trotter Buick and had been an automobile salesman.
Survivors include wife, Mary Baggett, East Brainerd; daughter, Ann Johnson, Milton, Fla.; stepson, LeBron Brown, Ooltewah; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Morris Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Mason officiating.
The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. Crawley was a native of Brittsville, Tenn. She was a member of three pioneer settler families and a member of Red Bank Church of Christ. She was retired from Lovemans. Mrs. Crawley was preceded in death by he husband, William Dukes Crawley Sr.

Rose E. McConkey Floyd died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000. She was 91.
Mrs. Floyd was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was a member and past president of the Missionary Ridge Chapter of the UDC, Chattanooga Legal Secretaries and past Legal Secretary of the Year, Retired Citizens for Good Government and the Republican Women's Organization. Mrs. Floyd was retired from Stone Massey and Kirkland Attorneys as a legal secretary. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel L. McConkey and Ernest C. Floyd.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha McConkey, Chattanooga; and two sisters, Mary Hermann and Margaret DeFur, both of Chattanooga.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Barton Thigpen officiating.

Thomas Russell Kilgore died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 50.
Mr. Kilgore was originally from Crossville, had lived in Knoxville, and moved to the Chattanooga area in 1981. He attended the Christ United Methodist Church, but was a member of the Homestead United Methodist Church in Crossville. Mr. Kilgore was employed with Ed's Supply Company as a credit manager.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Sands Kilgore, Chattanooga; mother, Lillian Kilgore, Crossville, Tenn.
The funeral was held Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Lawerence Clark officiating.
Visitation was Sunday from 6 p.m. until the funeral at the funeral home. Visitation will also be today from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the McCammons-Ammons Funeral Home at 220 W. Broadway, Maryville, Tenn.

John Michael Lattanzio, formerly of Chicago, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at his home. He was 42.

Ralph Jerry Pendley died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, at his home. He was 86.
Mr. Pendley was a member of the Unity Church of Chattanooga. He was retired from the Lookout Oil Division of Armour Star Company as a bulk salesman and had worked in sales with Chattanooga Box Company. Mr. Pendley was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy in the Pacific Theater.
Survivors include wife, Hazel H. Pendley; two sons, Dale J. Pendley, Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Steven C. Pendley, Southhaven, Miss.; one sister, Annie Mae White, Sugar Valley, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Fredrick Smith died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, at his home. He was 43.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Mount Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retired sergeant first class in the Army. Upon retirement, he worked for the Department of Labor as a Veterans Counselor in Chattanooga. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Earl Smith.
Survivors include wife, Deborah Smith; two daughters, Ashanti Smith and Sgt. Dwrena Smith; one son, Frederick Smith; mother, Dora Smith; and one brother, Graydell Price, all of Chattanooga.

Annie Thelma Strickland died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, in a local health care facility. She was 86.
Mrs. Strickland was a member of Alton Park Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Strickland.
Survivors include one son, Leamon Barkley Jr., Plainfield, N.J.; two daughters, Betty J. Thompson, and JoAlva Strickland, both of Nashville; stepdaughter, Dori Moore, Miami; one sister, Ruby Mason, Neptune, N.J.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Alton Park Church of Christ with Brother Phillip Henderson officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

OOLTEWAH -- Zella Lee Thompson died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000. She was 80.
Mrs. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Ooltewah and a member of Samples Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Thompson, and her son, Howard Holmes.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Root, Tellico Plains, Tenn., Brenda Vaughn, McDonald, Tenn., and Jewell Walker, Ooltewah; one sister, Shirley Lewis, Ooltewah; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bivens officiating.
