Master Marquice Davon Gideon, of Mound City, 7 month infant old infant of Annie Brown died Sunday, July 21, 2002 at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. from an automobile accident.
Verna Prim, age 96, of Mounds, died at 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2002 at the Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
Lillie C. Mallory, age 74, died Sunday July 14, 2002 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Geraldine Elizabeth Douglas, age 81, died on June 27, 2002.

Mrs. Lillie C. Mallory, age 74, of Daystar Nursing Home in Cairo, died at 12:40 p.m. in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Irish Ruth English was born on Nov. 25, 1928 to the late Rosella Meeks-Poindexter and the late Ovier Perkins.
She died on July 4, 2002.
Hezzie Fisher, age 83, of Dongola, died at 8:40 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2002 at his residence.
Scotty Eugene Rodgers, age 33, of Olive Branch, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 11:05 p.m. in Scott City, Mo.
Mildred Sue Humphrey, age 66, of Anna died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2002.
Mrs. Alice Marie Miller, a lifelong resident of Cairo, collapsed at Daystar Care Center on the evening of July 10, 2002 and was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. where she died at 6:49 p.m.

Daisy Fern Coursey Light, age 88, of Olive Branch, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at the Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Mrs. Alberta Hopkins, age 88, of Villa Ridge, died at 11:33 p.m. July 1, 2002 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Howard "Jim" Evers, age 57, of Joppa, Ill., formerly of Belknap died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2002 at the home of his daughter in Pittsburg, Ill.
Norman L. Botarf, age 80, of Vienna, died at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at his home in Vienna.
Gladys Smith Mayberry, age 88 of Olmsted, died at 5:35 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2002 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Murphysboro, Ill.

Nevaeh Leigh Silliman, infant daughter of Latisha Delane Silliman of Anna, was called to rest on June 25, 2002 at the Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
