STANLEY WOYTOWICZ Glenview Resident
A funeral Mass for Stanley Woytowicz, 77, of Glenview, was celebrated Oct. 8, at All Saints Cathedral Parish. Interment in All Saints Polish National Catholic cemetery. Visitation took place Oct. 7, at Colonial-Wojcie-chowski Funeral Home. Born Jan. 1, 1927, in Lublin, Wisc., Mr. Woytowicz worked as a construction laborer. He passed away Oct. 5, at Glenview Terrace Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie (nee Milas) Woytowicz; his children, Stanley W. and Karen (Keith) Lewandowski; his grandchildren, Michael, Kristen, Ryan and Rachel; his siblings, Walter (Marge), Bernice (George) Budrus, Lottie Nowicki and Ted (Mary); along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Woytowicz is preceded in death by his siblings, John, Genevieve Zajac, Edward and Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Cathedral Parish or Faith in Action Campaign.

EDNA M. CUNNINGHAM Age 103
A funeral Mass for Edna M. Cunningham (nee Voisin), 103, of Des Plaines, was held Monday, Oct. 11 at Saint Mary Church. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Born on Aug. 18, 1901 in Teeswater, Ontario, Mrs. Cunningham passed away Friday, Oct. 8. She was a long-time resident of Des Plaines, where she had many friends and close neighbors. Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E.; and her daughter Helen I. Kirby. She is survived by her children, Thomas E. (Elvira) Cunningham, of Oshkosh, Wis.; Mary T. (Frank) Pesche, of Des Plaines; Margaret A. Hoeft, of Lake Havasu City, Az.; 23 grandchildren and her many great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home in Arlington Hts.

PIERCE GRANEY Newspaper Printing
Services were held for Pierce Graney, 82, of Niles Oct. 6 at St. Isaac Jogues Church. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Graney, who was born March 23, 1922 died Oct. 2, 2004 in the Meadowbrook Nursing home, Bolingbrook. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a printer at the Chicago Tribune. Survivors inlcude his wife, Mary Lou; children, Pierce Thomas Jr. (La Juanna), Janet, William Francis, James J., Daniel R., Peter K. (Jo Anna) Graney; grandchildren, William, Megan, Christine and Sean Ryan Graney; and brother, William (Agatha) Graney.

ALFRED R. PETERSEN Longtime Rosemont Resident
Private visitation will be held for Alfred R. Petersen, 85, a Rosemont resident for the past 30 years. Born Sept. 1, 1919, in Chicago, Mr. Petersen was employed by Rand-McNally for over 25 years before retiring. He was also a member of the Morton Grove Moose Lodge. Mr. Petersen is survived by his wife, Antoinette (nee Arrigo); his children, Keith Petersen and step-children, Richard, Eileen Simpson and Carol Zahnen; his 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to River Woods Funeral Chapels.

JOHN M. GAGLIANO 53, Des Plaines
John M. Gagliano, 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 17 in his Des Plaines home. Services and interment are private. Gagliano was born June 26, 1951 in Chicago. He worked at Bekins Movers. He was a graduate of Maine West High School. Survivors include his wife Georgia (nee Hay); step children, Katie and Mike Liewehr; mother, Joan Gagliano; sisters, Jean (John) Kulnig and Rosemary (Gerard) Myra; nieces and nephews, John Michael and Stephanie Kulnig and Alison and Patrick Myra; brother- in-law Jim (Carol) Hay and sister- in-law Twila (Robert) Dahl.

MARY F. DONAHUE Of Park Ridge
A funeral service for Mary F. Donahue, 88, of Park Ridge, took place Saturday, Nov. 20 at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge. Interment took place at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. Visitation took place at Nelson Funeral Home in Park Ridge. Mrs. Donahue served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, and worked as an attorney. Mrs. Donahue died Nov. 16. Mrs. Donahue is preceded in death by husband, Thomas W.; and brother, Charles J. (Eleanor) Fahrner. She is survived by her children, Ted, Maggie, Nora (Spencer) Smith; two grandchildren; and sister, Helen Fahrner.

VIRGINIA F. LUCZAK Of Niles
A funeral service for Virginia F. Luczak, 84, of Niles, took place Saturday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m., at St. Lambert Church. Interment took place at St. Adalbert Mausoleum. Visitation took place Friday, Nov. 12, 3 to 9 p.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home. Born in Chicago on Nov. 11, 1919, Mrs. Luczak died Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Lutheran General Hospital. Mrs. Luczak is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ellen Luczak. Mrs. Luczak is survived by her husband, Robert; and son, Andrew.

KRZYSZTOF ZALEWSKI Of Niles
A funeral service for Krzysztof Zalewski, 52, of Niles, took place Saturday, Nov. 13, 9 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Church. Interment took place at Maryhill Cemetery. Visitation took place Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12 from 3 to 9 p.m. Born in Poland on Jan. 1, 1952, Mr. Zalewski worked as a brick layer. Mr. Zalewski died Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Lutheran General Hospital. Mr. Zalewski is survived by his wife, Barbara; parents, Jozef and Anna; daughter, Kathryn; son, Tomasz; sister, Halina (Jozef); and brother, Antoni.

VASCO FRANGIONI Of Niles
A funeral service for Vasco Frangioni, 86, of Niles, took place Sept. 28 at St. John Brebeuf Church. Interment took place at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation took place at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home. Born in Italy on July 7, 1918, Mr. Frangioni worked as a tailor. He died Sunday, Sept. 26, at Lutheran General Hospital. Mr. Frangioni is preceded in death by his daughter, Nila. Mr. Frangioni is survived by his wife, Pia; and son, Dano.

MARION RUTH HOWERY Of Niles
A funeral service for Marion Ruth Howery, 80, of Niles, took place in early October. Interment took place at Ridgewood Cemetery. Born in Wausau, Wis. on Dec. 2, 1923, Mrs. Howery served in the Navy. Mrs. Howery died Oct. 3 at her home. Mrs. Howery is survived by her husband, Donald L. Howery.

JOSEPH S. KOZIOL Of Niles
A funeral service for Joseph S. Koziol, 83, of Niles, took place in early October at St. John Brebeuf Church. Interment took place at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Born in Chicago on April 11, 1921, Mr. Koziol worked making tools and dyes. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Koziol died Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Resurrection Medical Center. Mr. Koziol is survived by his wife, Eleanore Koziol.

CHARLENE A. SIEPKA School teacher
A funeral service for Charlene A. Siepka, 67, of Park Ridge, took place in early October at St. John Brebeuf Church. Interment took place at Maryhill Cemetery. Born in Chicago on Nov. 28, 1936, Mrs. Siepka worked as a school teacher. She died Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Resurrection Medical Center. Mrs. Siepka is survived by her husband, Len; sons, Mark, Scott (Peggy); daughter, Kim (John) Nale; and five grandchildren.

KENNETH W. SHEEHAN Of Niles
A funeral service for Kenneth W. Sheehan, 68, of Niles, was held in the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home on Oct. 7. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery. A native of Chicago, he died Oct. 3 in St. Matthew Home. He was the owner-operator of a delivery service and was a veteran of U.S. Army service. Surviving are his widow, June O.; children, James (Jennifer) Clark and Sandra (Joe Benson) Elkins; grandchildren, Kevin and Meghan Clark; brothers-in-law, Robert Knudsen, Ronald Pales, and Jerry (Abbie) Niewiadowski; a nephew, Joseph (Amy) Niewiadomski; great-niece, Amanda Ordway; niece, April (Peter) Ordway; nephews, Kenneth and Michael Wieda; and brother-in-law, Michael (Janice) Wieda.

ROY J. REESE SR. Retired Machinist
A very active member of Moose Lodge #660 and the father of four, Roy J. Reese Sr. passed away at his home Nov. 19 at the age of 64. Mr. Reese was a native of Morgantown, W. Va. and a resident of Des Plaines. Visitation was Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect, and interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Reese is survived by children, Lisa (Doug) Jameson, Roy J. Jr., Edward Russell ( Ericka) and Daniel (Christine) Reese, in addition to fiancee, Shirley Cox; and grandchildren, Laura, Brian, Megan, Erin, Melissa and Jacob. Surviving also are sisters Katie Eldred, Betty Dean and Louise Hoard. Mr. Reese was preceded in death by brothers Arthur and Ray.
