William Brazelton
William Brazelton died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 68.
He was retired from Greyhound Bus Station and Hertz. He was a member of Wesley Chapel Christian Community Church where he served as chairman of the Steward Board and was a member of the Trustee Board.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Brazelton Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Arnold Brazelton; five daughters, Cheryl, Donna and Diana Brazelton, all of Chattanooga, Linda Davis, Nashville, and Andrea Butler, Chattanooga; two brothers, James and Robert Brazelton, both of Huntsville, Ala.; six sisters, Cornelia Watkins, Esther Ridley and Doris and Ann Brazelton, all of Huntsville, Jesse Brazelton, Philadelphia, and Irene Watkins, Indianapolis.
The funeral will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Christian Community Church with the Rev. Herbert Wright officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will assemble at 1711 Newton St.

Paul Conner Sr.
Paul Stuart Conner Sr. died Tuesday, April 21, 2000, in a Birmingham, Ala., hospital. He was 92.
He was a member of Brainerd Presbyterian Church where he served as deacon and past treasurer. He retired from Combustion Engineering and U.S. Pipe and Foundry and was past master of St. Elmo Masonic Lodge 673 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite J. Conner.
Survivors include two sons, P. Stuart Conner Jr., Knoxville, and David J. Conner, Birmingham, Ala.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Ragon officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hazel Creasman
Hazel K. Creasman of Soddy-Daisy died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, in a local hospital. She was 82.
She was a former employee of Dixie Yarns and a beautician in the Soddy-Daisy area for several years. She was the widow of William M. Creasman and a member of East Daisy Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Hollandsworth, Soddy-Daisy, and Pat Dodd, Hixson; five sisters, Emily Hart, Bessie Gravett and Charlsie Roddy, all of Soddy-Daisy, Jeanette Scates, Hixson, and Lucy Evans, Fayetteville, Tenn.; two brothers, Andy and Jessie Harris, both of Soddy-Daisy; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Thrasher and the Rev. Bruce Kennedy officiating.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after noon today at the funeral home.
Larry Cummings
Larry Cummings of Ooltewah died Tuesday, April 17, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 59.
A native of Evensville, Ind., he had lived in the Chattanooga area for over 20 years. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and attended Tennessee Temple University.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a volunteer with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Diabetes Association.
He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Bryan Cummings, and his father, Paul Cummings.
Survivors include three sons, Scott Cummings, Chickamauga, Ga., and Jeff and Daniel Cummings, both of Chattanooga; stepmother, Pearl Cummings, Evensville, Ind.; sister, Jo Ellen Wilson and Penny Sue Kibby, both of Evensville; brother, Doug Cummings, Evensville; five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Louis Hamm officiating.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Dearing
Elizabeth Dearing died Monday, April 17, 2000, in Newnan, Ga. She was 85.
She was the widow of the Rev. John E. Dearing and the mother of the late Luther Peterson and Georgia Hudson.
Survivors include two stepsons, John E. Dearing Jr., Dayton, Ohio, and Marvin Dearing; sister, Fannie L. White, Newnan; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home with elder Major Matthews officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Visitation will be today after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
John Faris
John Spencer Faris, a lifelong resident of Hixson, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at his home. He was 39.
He had attended Orange Grove School for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles S. and Juanita P. Faris.
Survivors include his twin brother, Keith Faris, and nephew, Christopher Faris, Hixson.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Aline Summerlin officiating.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
Lloyd Harden
Lloyd Nolan Harden died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at his home. He was 44.
Mr. Harden was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Harden, and two brothers, Arlie and Tom Harden Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Rosa Harden, Birchwood; four brothers, Doyle Harden, Cleveland, Tenn., Ricky and Terry Harden, both of Birchwood, and Donnie Harden, Athens, Tenn.; three sisters, Susan Hall and Sandy Harden, both of Cleveland, and Mollie Denton, Birchwood; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at the Wildwood Chapel of Buckner-Rush Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Davis and the Rev. Landon Harden officiating.
The body has been cremated.

Fleda Fulmer Hull, who taught for 15 years at Brainerd High School, died Monday, April 17, 2000, in a local hospital. She was 86.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service.

Pauline Yancey Manning of Harrison died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, in a local hospital. She was 76.
A native of Albertville, Ala., she had spent most of her life in the Chattanooga area and had been a member of Hamilton Baptist Church for more than 25 years.
She was the widow of R.T. Manning.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Manning, Rossville, Ga., and Terry, Allen and Chuck Manning, all of Chattanooga; daughters, Linda Ramey, Harrison; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with brother Bruce Daugherty officiating.
Burial will be in Rocky Face Cemetery.

Frank B. "Pete" Minnick, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 82.

He was a Baptist and a former employee of Modern Patten Engineering, Tennessee Stove Works and D&D Machinery.
