Memorial services for Carolyn M. Turner, 58, of Palestine were Sunday at First Baptist Church of Slocum. The Rev. Todd Chapman officiated.
Burial was at Providence Cemetery, Dialville, following a cremation under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory in Palestine.
Mrs. Turner died Friday at Spring Season Nursing Center in Elkhart. She was born Feb. 14, 1943, in West Monroe, La., to Hosh Henry and Hazel Martin Beebe Sr.
She was raised in Jacksonville and Dialville and had lived in Palestine several years after moving from Oklahoma. She was a Baptist.
Her main interests involved her grandchildren, fishing and playing bingo.
She is survived by three sons, Randall Fletcher of Rusk, William Fletcher of Elkhart and Clifton Fletcher of Palestine; one daughter, Elizabeth Kelley of Jenks, Okla.; three brothers, Josh Beebe Jr. of Galveston, Huey Beebe of Eagle Point, Ore., and John McCarty of Palestine; four sisters, Bertie Youngblood of Galveston, Shirley Ann Knous of Jacksonville, Ruby Taylor of Dialville and Mary Draper of Galveston; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Slocum.

Mr. Gray died Saturday in a Tyler hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Jacksonville to the late Tommie Allen and Allie Mae Andrews Gray. He graduated from Troup High School in 1947.
Mr. Gray was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.
He retired in 1987 from Northern Telecom and after several years as a private contractor, moved to New Summerfield in 1997.
Mr. Gray was a member of First Baptist Church of New Summerfield.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Joy Gray of New Summerfield; a son, Paul Gray of Mesquite; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Colin Gray of Garland; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Joyce Gray of Troup and Albert and JoAnn Gray of Houston; and a step-mother, Nellie May Gray of Rusk.
Pallbearers will be Ed Lewis, Jack Read, Chuck Davis, Greg Violetto, Merle Duty and Keith Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be R.N. Gray, Cleveland Gray, Mike Gray, John Kern and Ted Sapp.

Services for Lottie Mae Moore Carpenter, 93, of Troup and formerly of Wilson, are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday in Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. The Revs. Paul Bonner and Bobby Myers will officiate.
Mrs. Carpenter died Sunday at her residence. She was born Jan. 11, 1908 in Laneville.
She lived in Wilson from 1951 until May, 2001, when she moved to Troup.
She worked in laundry service, school cafeteria and cooked for the Wilson Lions Club before retiring.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Wilson, but attended First Baptist Church of Troup upon moving to the area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Carpenter; sons, Alfred Carpenter and Harold Carpenter; parents, Ike and Anna Moore; sister, Lexie; and brother, Roy.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Cecil and Doris Carpenter of Corsicana and Travis and Elizabeth Carpenter of Troup; daughters and sons-in-law, Pansy Suggs of Jacksonville and Carolyn and Clifford Smith of Slaton; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Carpenter of New Summerfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe C. Moore of Troup, Clyde and Marvene Moore of Madisonville, and Luther and Louise Moore of Troup; sister, Clarissa Henderson of Wilson; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mr. Morris died Friday at the Tyler Hospice. He was born June 13, 1920, in Quanah and was a lifelong resident of Gallatin. He was a member and deacon of Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Morris retired after 40 years with Jacksonville Basket Company. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Mr. Shapley served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a Baptist.

Mrs. Fitts died Sunday at her residence. She was born Nov. 16, 1913, in Rusk. She had been a resident of Rusk most of her life. She was a retired federal government clerk and was a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Rusk. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and volunteered at the V.A. hospital and at a Jacksonville hospital. She also crocheted hundreds of afghans for veterans.
Mrs. Fitts was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nina Sherman; brother, Ray Sherman and husband, James Fitts.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Cassidy of Houston and Darlene Simpson of Dallas; grandchildren, Patrick and Wife Laura Haynes and Lisa Higgins, all of Houston; great-grandchildren, Dillon Higgins, Nicole and Alexandra Cassidy and Parker and Sterling Haynes, all of Houston; special friend, Harry Wells of Houston; and numerous cousins and loved ones.
