John Henry Huddleston, 82, of Scott Depot, formerly of Fayetteville, died August 18, 1999, in Morris Memorial Nursing Home, Milton, after a long illness.
He was a former employee of Union Carbide with 40 years’ service, a member of Fayetteville Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.

Curtis Dean Harmon
Curtis Dean Harmon, 35, of Winfield died July 23, 1999 in General Division, CAMC, of injuries received in an automobile accident on U.S. 35. Police said Harmon’s car crossed the center line and hit head-on into a Ford Econoline van.
He was general manager of Kanawha City Motel 6 and a graduate of Buffalo High School.

He was retired from American Electric Power Co., St. Albans, with 40 years’ service. He was a Protestant and a 45-year resident of Scott Depot. He was a former WVU basketball team captain and 1950 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Charleston, where he was also basketball team captain.

Kines was born at Culloden, WV, on August 3, 1934. She was a daughter of the late Clarence R. and Leelia V. Fought Edwards. Kines was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Ines; and two brothers, Robert and Boyd Edwards. She was a former employee of Armstrong Products. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
