Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at the Russell County Hospital. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Jane Reagan Bevard. She is survived by one son, Lloyd W. Hunsaker, and two daughters, Gail Louise Hunsaker and Janie Morgan Loy, all of Russell Springs, KY; and 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five children, James, Thomas, Timothy, and Donald Hunsaker,and Gloria Jean Wright; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Hunsaker; two sisters, Marjorie Bevard and Laura Kostal; two brothers, Charles and Robert Bevard; and two great grandchildren, Allen and Anthony Wright. He was a retired restaurant owner, a member of the Welfare Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was the son of the late Z.W. Hubbard and Mary Reba (Holder) Hubbard. She was the widow of Hubert Hudson and the daughter of the late Elbert Clay and Daisy Garner Burchett. She is survived by two sons, Bobby Hudson, Russell Springs, KY and Brent Hudson, Jamestown, KY; two daughters, Marsha Brower and Kathy Franklin, both of Russell Springs, KY; two brothers, Codell and Glen Burchett, both of Jamestown, KY; one sister, Nadine Rexroat of Jamestown, TN; and 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mr. Hughes was a retired Postal Employee from the Jeffersonville, IN Post Office and he was an avid fisherman and hunter, a U.S. Army veteran and devoted son. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the son of the late Hobert and Pearl Coffey Kerns of Adair County.
