Born in Manhattan, New York, he was the devoted son of the late Charles and Dora (Paccione) Fortunato. He was the brother of the late Nicoletta Dimichino and Leonard Fortunato.
Pat’s funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St. (Route 16) Watertown on Tuesday July 17, 2007 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass will take place in the Sacred Heart Church, Watertown at 9AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are scheduled on Monday July 16, 2007 from 4-8 PM. Mr. Fortunato was a Retired Patrolman of the New York Police Department and a late WWII Veteran U.S. Army Air Corps.

Born in Cambridge, MA on July 12, 1947, he was the son of Francis C. and Edna (Bracken) Levins. He was the brother of Thomas & Jean Levins, Catherine DeVeancourt and the late Francis, James, & Alice Levins, Elizabeth Partridge and Patricia Ryan.
Mr. Levins’ Funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mount Auburn St. (Route 16) Watertown on Wednesday July 11, 2007 at 10 A.M. Watertown – Mrs. Florence V. (Griffith) (Murray) Gannam, died Sunday, June 25, 2007 in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Brighton. She was 101 years old.
She was the wife of the late Representative John A. Murray and the late John H. Gannam. She is survived by her children, Virginia F. Norton of Uxbridge and her husband, Robert, Rev. John A. Murray, retired Pastor of St. Bernard’s Church, Concord and David P. Murray of Watertown. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a niece, Ila Huntoon of Brighton.
Florence was born December 3, 1906 in Brighton’s section of Boston, a daughter to the late James and Luella (Rodgers) Griffith and lived all of her life in Watertown. She was a proud home maker. She was the sister of the late Lionel, Lloyd, Richard "Percy," and Pearl Griffith and Lillian Darling.
She was a member of the former St. Theresa’s Church and the former Watertown Women’s Club. She belonged to The Church of St. Luke in Belmont.
The Funeral will be held Thursday, June 28th from The Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn Street (Rt16) Watertown at 9:30A.M. Funeral Mass in The Church of Saint Luke, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 10:30A.M. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.

Miriam 'Georgina' (Bowe) Martin

A long-time resident of Watertown, MA died on June 15, 2007.
Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Lydia (Heffernan) Bowe. Mrs. Martin lived in Cambridge briefly and in Watertown for most of her life. She worked as a cake decorator at Steve-Vin’s Bakery and won several awards for her artistry in cake decoration.
Wife of the late Allen Martin, she leaves her loving family including her children; Allen of Foxborough, Elaine Comis of Abington, Thomas, Cynthia Sturtevant and Theresa Hamm of Watertown; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Margaret Doughty, Mary Corliss, Gerald, Patrick, William, Philip, Donald, John, Richard and Robert Bowe and the late Father Stanley Bowe and Carol Robar.

Born in Belmont, Massachusetts on December 28, 1909, she was the daughter of Antonio and Lovicia (Tallone) Addesa. She was the sister of Virginia Howard of Medford, Frances Johnson of Ashland, John Addesa of NH; and the late Guy & Rose Addesa, Josephine Olson, Julia Thome, Mary Morton, Eleanor Bater, Ann Johnson, and Angelina Green. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Robert Brady
64, recently passed away in Venice, CA after a brief illness. Bob was born in Brighton, MA on January 7, 1943, the son of Bernice Brady of Watertown, MA and the late John J. Brady, who was a Watertown Police Officer for 30 years. Bob graduated from St. Patrick’s High School (Class of 1961) and Wentworth University. He worked as a film editor in Boston, New York City and Hollywood, California for WGBH, New Line Cinema, and Warner Brothers Studio. Bob was most proud of an Emmy he received for his work on the Public Broadcasting Studio Production Series Middletown America.
Bob is survived by his son, Sean Oakes of Watertown, MA; his daughters Heather and Kate Cosgriff of Piermont, NY and Manhattan, and his granddaughter Annie Kate Cosgriff; his sister Donna Rollo and her husband Allen Rollo of Englewood, FL; his brother Jack Brady of Watertown and his brother Charles Brady of Waterbury Ctr., VT.
A visitation will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday June 16th at the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

John F. Walsh
June 11, 2007
Of Belmont, formerly of Newton, died Monday, June 11, 2007 in The Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, after an illness. He was 76.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Ann Jeanne (Poirier) Walsh; his children, Richard C. Walsh of Rock Point, NY, Maura A. Walsh and her husband, Carlos I. Avila, Jeanne A. Walsh and Elizabeth M. Walsh, all of Framingham; four grandchildren, Justine and Lauren Walsh, Mariana E. and Cristina M. Avila, all of Framingham; nieces and nephews.
John was born July 14, 1930 in Somerville, a son to the late Richard and Mary (Gildea) Walsh and lived in Newton most of his life before moving to Belmont seven years ago. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mary K. Walsh, Richard L. and Edmund I. Walsh.
He was a graduate of St. Clement High School in Somerville and was a 1953 graduate of Boston College.
John co-founded and operated Softech Corporation in Waltham. This company was founded in 1969 and he retired in 1992. Previously, he had worked as a Senior Systems Analyst for Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mr. Walsh was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish in Newton Centre where he served as lector, parish council member and other capacities. He and his wife were active volunteers and supporters of The Saint Francis Home in Boston. He was also a member of Oakley Country Club.
The Funeral will be held Friday June 15, 2007 from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St., (Rt. 16) at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Sacred Heart Church, 1317 Centre Street, Newton. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment in Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA.

She was the companion of Dan Oddi of Hyde Park, and the best friend to Mary Mortell of Walpole for 75 years.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Mary (Tedeschi) Munafo.
Mrs. Colotti’s funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn Street (Route 16), Watertown on Friday June 1, 2007 at 8:00 A.M. She was the sister in law of Monica O’Hare of VA.
Her Funeral Mass will be held in St. Martha’s Church, Route 1, Kennebunk, Maine on Wednesday May 30, 2007 at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will take place in the church prior to the mass at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be private.
Ms. O’Hare was a Graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy, Brighton, Class of 1938. She was an Alumna of Regis College, Class of 1942 and a Graduate of the Masters Degree program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Margaret was a Retired Schoolteacher for the City of Somerville School Department and retired from Miss Brodbine Travel Agency.
