James "MIke" Fenneman
Kingwood Twp. James “Mike “Fenneman 41 of Kingwood Twp. died Saturday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Readington Twp.
Born in Toronto Canada, Mr. Fenneman was raised in Holland Twp. NJ, lived in Lambertville and for the past three years in Kingwood Twp.
Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lambertville. He previously owned II Brothers Deli in Raritan NJ. As a bread purveyor he owned and operated “Our Daily Bread” and supplied many restaurants and delicatessens in the area. As a teenager he was a Pennsylvania State swimming champion. An avid hunter and fisherman he belonged to the Croton Gun Club, the Stockton Rod and Gun Club and was also NASCAR fan. A political science major, he was a graduate of Moravian College in Allentown Pa. For many years he served as assistant coach with the Lambertville West Amwell Youth Baseball Association and the Lambertville Ramblers Football League.
Son of Roger Fenneman of Punta Gorda Fl, and Rosemary Fenneman of NJ, he was a devoted husband to Laurie Piratzky Fenneman, and a loving father to Joseph, Noelle and Michael. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Shari Ann and Kurt Shinn of Milford, Pa., In addition he is survived by his father and mother in law Henry and Rita Piratzky of Stockton, two sisters in law and their husbands Rita and Michael Rose of Kingwood Twp., Patti and John Burroughs of Lambertville, a brother in law and his wife Henry and Lisa Piratzky all of Lambertville, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Rt. 179 Lambertville. Burial will follow in the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made payable to his wife Laurie Fenneman who intends to setup a trust for their children.

Minnie M. Strouse died 4-5-2005
Lambertville NJ: Minnie M. Strouse 85 died Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
A lifelong resident of Lambertville Mrs. Strouse was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan.
Daughter of the late John and Mary Gazzillo Zambella, widow of Chester M. Strouse, and sister of the late Jennie Johnson and Andrew Zambella, she is survived by three daughters and sons in law, Mary Ann and Thomas P. Casey of Lambertville, Linda and William C. Losch Jr., of Glen Allen Va., Barbara and Philip Robbins of Orange Park Fl, three sisters Mary Radeer, Kathryn Toth, Julia Wintermute all of Lambertville, six grandchildren Patrick Casey, Michael Casey, Lori Ashton, Lisa Robbins, B.J. Losch, Brian Losch, five great grandchildren, Meghan Casey, Brigid Casey, Brian Losch Jr., Mary Margaret Losch, Jeb William Losch, several nieces and nephews.

Bernard V. Gaspari, died 11-8-04
Lambertville: Bernard V. Gaspari 76 died Monday in Hopewell Twp.
Born and raised in Lambertville Mr. Gaspari was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. A graduate of Lambertville High School Mr. Gaspari served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the Toscanni American Legion Post # 120 in Lambertville. He retired in 1985 as a letter carrier from the Lambertville Post Office with over 25 years employment and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. For nine years he worked part time in the lumber yard for C.A. Niece in Lambertville.
Son of the late Giuseppi and Anna Santilli Gaspari and widow of Joan Bonham Gaspari, he is survived by one son Nicholas Gaspari of Ewing Twp., three daughters Kathleen Parmenter of Orlando Fl., Tina Gaspari of W. Amwell Twp., Amy Carmody of Lambertville, three brothers, Nick Gaspari of W. Amwell Twp. Dominic Gaspari, Albert Gaspari both of Lambertville, one sister Rose Inserra of W. Amwell Twp., six grandchildren, Michael Parmenter, Robert Parmenter, Nicholas Gaspari, Zachary Gaspari, Thomas H. Carmody, IV, Kelly Kohls, five great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Peter J. Ingrassia, died 11-19-04
Lansdale Pa., Peter J. Ingrassia 81 died Friday at his home.
Born and raised in Stockton NJ Mr. Ingrassi had lived in Ewing Twp. for 45 years and in Lansdale for the past four years. He was a former member of Incarnation Roman Catholic Church in Ewing Twp. and was presently a member of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Lansdale. He retired in 1987 from General Motors in W. Trenton with forty years of employment.
He was a member of the Trenton Elks Lodge # 105, Sons of Italy in Lansdale Pa., a member of the VFW post in Myrtle Beach, NC, an Army Veteran of WWII, was an avid fisherman and devoted New York Mets fan.
Son of the late Peter and Angelina Madonna Ingrassia, he is survived by his wife Catherine Gillico Ingrassia, two daughters and one son in law, Jennett Ingrassia of Fair Lawn NJ, Angela and Lewis H. Wiebel V of Lansdale, Pa., one brother Carman Ingrassia of Kansas, one grandson Lewis H. Wiebel VI, several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn B. Reid, 11-22-04
Lambertville: Evelyn Beck Reid 81, died Monday at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp.
Born in Uhlerstown, Pa. Mrs. Reid had lived in Frenchtown and in Lambertville since 1948. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. She retired from General Motors in Ewing Twp. in 1981 with 28 years of employment and she enjoyed bingo and crocheting.
Daughter of the late Claude Beck Sr. and Gertrude Shuman Beck and widow of John G. Reid she is survived by one son and daughter in law Gordon and Sally Reid of Ringoes, one brother Claude Beck Jr., of Holland Twp., two granddaughters Judith and Joan Reid, one great grandson Ronald Reid, several nieces & nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Rt. 179 Lambertville. Burial will follow in the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. Calling hour will be Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Valarie Marie Albert died 7-10-2001
Valerie Marie Albert, 32 died Thursday July 19th at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Twp. Born in Doylestown, Pa. Ms. Albert lived in Lambertville most of her life and in Frenchtown for the past three years. She attended South Hunterdon Regional High School. She was active in Muscular Dystrophy Association telethons and was active in various charity organizations. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in Clinton. She was a published poet, loved music and was proficient on the computer. She is survived by her mother and step- father Luz Velez Herron and Steve Barany of Ottsville, Pa., two brothers and a sister in law, Mary & Amy Albert of Ringoes, Jeffrey Albert of Encinitas Ca., several nieces, nephews, cousins, one aunt, four uncles. Funeral services were held Monday July 23rd, 2001 at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ. Calling hours were Sunday July 22nd at the funeral home. Jeannette Rowland died 7-30-2001
Jeannette McCullough Rowland, 97 died Monday July 30, 2001 at her daughters home.
Born in Philadelphia Mrs. Rowland had lived in Paoli, Pa., Long Island New York, in Dunedden Florida from 1970 until moving to Lambertville two years ago. She had volunteered at the Nassau County Hospital gift shop in Minneoli Long Island for many years and was awared the Teddy Roosevelt award for her efforts.
Daughter of the late Robert McCullough and Elizabeth Davies and Widow of John Wallace Rowland she is survived by one daughter Elizabeth E. Cursley of Lambertville, one son John Robert Rowland of Weston Ct., one sister in law Juanita Rowland of Willow Grove Pa., six granchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be private under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.

John "Jack" Foy, died 1-17-03
John “ Jack” Foy, Sr. 68 of Lambertville died Friday January 17th, 2003 at the Doylestown Hospital.
Born in Lambertville Mr. Foy lived in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. He returned to Lambertville in 1958. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lambertville, the American Legion Post # 120, and former member of the Lambertville Moose. He served on the Lambertville Recreation Committee, and was a commissioner for the Lambertville men’s fast pitch softball league Lodge. Mr. Foy had worked for Zambelli Fireworks in York Pa., the Garden State Logging Co., and worked as a laborer during the construction of the Lambertville-New Hope Toll Bridge, He was a member of Local # 172 and had worked at Princeton University’s Forrestal complex. He retired from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission as an electrician in 1998 with 16 years of employment. Mr. Foy was a US Marine and served during the Korean Conflict.
Son of the late John and Marion Durling Foy he is survived by his first wife Blanche Koch of Ocala Fl., his present wife Ruth Mull Foy, two sons and daughters in law, John H. and Wanda Foy Jr., of New Hope Pa., Kevin and Jackie Foy of Lambertville, two daughters and a son in law Wendy and Jim Malone of Perkasie Pa., Terry Foy of Trenton, one sister Eleanor Corrigan of New Hope, Pa., a step daughter Sandy Benitez of Flemington, three step sons, Robert Woodruff, Richard Woodruff, Michael and his wife Carol Woodruff all of Lambertville, eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 21st, 2003 at 11:30 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Rt. 179 Lambertville. Burial to follow in the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery Delaware Twp. Calling hours will be Monday fro 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Rodger D. Frey, died 7-26-03
W. Amwell Twp. Rodger D. Frey, 64 of W. Amwell Twp., died Saturday at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Twp.
Born in Pohatcong, NJ, Mr. Frey had lived in W. Amwell Twp. for the past 35 years. He attended Rutgers University. Mr. Frey served in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 -1963. He was a member of the Edgar H. Denson American Legion Post # 79 in New Hope Pa., and a social member of the Toscanni American Legion Post # 120 in Lambertville. Mr. Frey was a avid reader a devoted and beloved husband, father and grandfather.
For many years Mr. Frey worked as an insurance adjuster and insurance salesman for numerous agencies. He was best known for his years spent at the Charles McCracken Insurance Agency in Lambertville.
Son of the late John O. and Jenny Lowe Frey, he is survived by his wife Sallie Hannemann Frey, one son and daughter in law David and Monika Frey of E. Windsor, two daughters and sons in law, Sallie and David VanBuskirk of Vacaville Ca., Jennifer and Raymond Lee Kurtz of Mt. Joy Pa., one brother Edward Frey, one sister and brother in law Eleanor and Willis Bigelow, all of Phillipsburg, a brother in law and sister in law, Herbert and Ceil Hannemann of Cinnaminson, seven grandchildren, Sarah Beth, Victoria, and David VanBuskirk, Wesley, Issaac and Micah Kurtz and Daniel Frey.

John M. Casey, Jr. died 5-8-04
Lambertville: John M. Casey, Jr. 82 died Saturday at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp.
Born and raised in Lambertville Mr. Casey had lived in Levittown Pa, Florence and back to Lambertville in 2001. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. He served in the US Army during WW II in the Pacific Theater. He worked at Trenton Pottery from 1948 – 1967 as a mold caster and at DeLaval Turbine in Trenton from 1967 until retirement in 1983 as a payroll clerk.
Son of the late John M. and Lina Russo Casey Sr., he is survived by two brothers Gale P. Casey Sr. of Lambertville, Michael Casey of Warminister, Pa., two sisters, Delores Rittman of Va., Mary Schmoock of Or., eight sisters in law.

Tony Carotenuto, died 5-8-2005
Tony Carotenuto 66 died Friday at the Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington Pa.
Born in Ambler Pa., Mr. Carotenuto had lived in Lambertville since 1990.
He was a member of the Toscanni American Legion Post # 120, the Lambertville Elks Lodge # 1070 and the Young Men’s Athletic Club in Lambertville. Tony worked as a house painter for various painting contractors in the Lambertville area for many years and for the past three years he was self employed. An avid fisherman, Tony enjoyed NASCAR, cooking and TV cooking shows and was a fan of the New York Giants.
Son of the late Anthony R. And Betty Rooney Carotenuto, father of the late Joseph and Jeffrey Carotenuto, he is survived by one daughter Debra Szalontay of Richboro Pa. three sons James Carotenuto of Quakertown, Pa., Scott Carotenuto of Newtown Pa., Brian Carotenuto of Lambertville, one brother Harry Carotenuto of California, seven grandchildren, Brian, Joshua, Jessica, Nicholas, Elissa, Taylor, and Kyle.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 8:30 PM at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Rt. 179 Lambertville. Burial will take place 10:00 am Saturday April 16th at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Cemetery in Lambertville. Calling hours will be Monday from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home. The Lambertville Elks Lodge will conduct services Monday evening at 8:15 pm.

Thomas E. Grieser, died 8-6-2001
W. Amwell Twp.: Thomas E. Grieser, 63 died Monday August 6th, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Twp.
Born in Corona NY, he lived in Roselle Park from 1965 – 1980 and in W. Amwell Twp. For the past 21 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church and it Knights of Columbus & a volunteer with the Roselle Park Volunteer Fire Co. Mr. Grieser retired from AT&T in a management position in 1987 after 40 years of employment and he was a member of the Company’s Pioneer Organization. Mr. Grieser served in the US Navy.
Son of the late Raymond & Anne Darak Grieser he is survived by his wife Irene Grieser, one brother Raymond Grieser Jr., of Bloomsbury Pa.

Victor I. Umyn, died 9-3-2001
Victor I. Umyn, 56 died Monday at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Twp.
Born in Germany, Mr. Umyn moved to the United States in 1951 and had lived in Delaware Township for the past 19 years. He received a BA degree in Political Science from Albright College and a BA in Economics from Rider College. For the past 21 years the NJ Div of Law & Public Safety Gaming Division has employed him as a Supervising State Investigator. Mr. Umny was a member of the United States Tennis Association and he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Son of the late Ivan and Anna Ohij Umyn he is survived by one daughter Elizabeth Umyn, one son Patrick Umyn both of Delaware Twp., one brother, Borys Umyn of Columbus NJ, one sister Lida Plisko of Lawrenceville, four nephews, Dimitry Umyn of New York City, Andrew Umyn of Columbus, Tony Plisko of Lawrenceville, William Szuch of Toronto Canada, one niece Lily Umyn of San Francisco Ca., and his companion Barbara Strano of Newtown, Pa.
Graveside services will be held Friday September 7th at 11:00 am at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Main St., South Bound Brook NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 – 9 PM at the funeral home.

Francis M. Curley, died 9-7-2001
Francis M. Curley 81 died Friday September 7th at the Abington Memorial Hospital.
A lifelong resident of New Hope, Mr. Curley was member of St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church. He served in the US Army during WW II.
Mr. Curley received both his undergraduate and Masters degree in Education from Rutgers University and he attended Temple University. He taught History and social studies at the New Hope Solebury High School from 1957 – 1980. He volunteer taught at the Center for Learning and Retirement (CLR) at Delaware Valley Community College, Doylestown.
A local historian Mr. Curley was a Board Member Emeritus & Docent of the New Hope Historical Society, a member of the Bucks County Historical Society, and a member of the Lambertville Historical Society. He served as a member of the New Hope Boro Council and previously served on the Board of the New Hope Public Library.
Son of the late Frank Curley & Kathryn Taggart Curley, and father of the late Michael Curley, he is survived by his wife Ruth McDonnell Curley, two sons and one daughter in law, Thomas and Jeanie Curley of Scottsdale, AZ., Peter Curley of New Hope, one sister and brother in law Jean and Robert Icelow of New Hope, two grandsons, Brian Curley of Baltimore and Kevin Curley of Scottsdale, Az.

Louis J. Testa, died 9-10-2001
. Louis J. Testa, 83 died Monday at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Twp.
A longtime resident of Lambertville, Mr. Testa had lived in W. Amwell Twp. For the past 59 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. He served in the US Army 4th Armored Division under General Patton. He was a member of the Toscanni American Legion Post # 120, the Young Men’s Athletic Club, the Lambertville Elks Lodge # 1070, and the Lambertville Moose Lodge.

Amwell Twp., two brothers Carmen Testa of Trenton, Joseph Testa of Flemington, three sisters, Mary Testa, Lucy Testa, Angie Testa all of Lambertville, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 am from the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 44 Bridge St. Lambertville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 – 4 PM and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toscanni American Legion Post # 120 Lambertville.
