Marguerite Estelle Lenfest, 88, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at the Dexter House Nursing Home in Malden. She was born in Searsmont, ME and raised there and in Camden, ME, where she was graduated from Camden High School. She then came to Massachusetts, furthering her education at Bryant & Stratton Commercial School in Boston. She had been a resident of Malden for over 60 years and a longtime member of the Maplewood Baptist Church in Malden.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Sibley A. Lenfest of Malden, her son Richard S. Lenfest of Clinton, ME and her daughter-in-law Alexandra Lenfest of NH and her two daughters, Mary Anne and her husband Carlton Wright of Hollywood, FL and Janice L. and her husband Rev. William Bellaire of Clinton, ME her brothers, Lawrence Richards of Hallowell, ME and Robert Richards of Denver, CO, her grandchildren, Sandra Gillis and her husband Brian, Kristen Lenfest, Mark Bellaire and his fiancée Erin Quimby, Stephen Bellaire and Susan Fultz and her husband Larry and her great-grandchildren Michael and Elizabeth Gillis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Claribell (Cottrell) Richards.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Sunday, November 9th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Sibley Aretas Lenfest
Sibley Aretas Lenfest, 90, died Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. Sibley was raised and educated in Watertown. In 1940, he moved to the Malden area and has been a resident there for 64 years. Sibley worked for the Malden Post Office for many years, and retired from there as the Station Superintendent. He was a long time active member of the Lodge of Sterling, Malden, Past Master Pequossette Lodge, Watertown, and a dedicated member of the Maplewood Baptist Church for 62 years.
He is survived by his wife Patricia of Malden and her daughter Terry Nickerson, his son Richard S. Lenfest of Clinton, ME and his daughter-in - law Alexandra Lenfest of NH, his two daughters, Mary Anne and her husband Carlton Wright of Hollywood, FL and Janice L. and her husband Rev. William Bellaire of Clinton, ME, his brother Leslie and wife Virginia Lenfest of ME. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sandra Gillis and her husband Brian, Kristen Lenfest, Mark Bellaire and his wife Erin, Stephen Bellaire and Susan Fultz and her husband Larry and his great-grandchildren Michael and Elizabeth Gillis.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marguerite E. (Richards) Lenfest, his parents, John and Lottie (Wellman) Lenfest, his brothers Benjamin & Lee Lenfest, and sister Loena Lenfest.
He was born June 22, 1913 in Union, Maine the son of the late John and Lottie (Wellman) Lenfest. He served in the Navy during World War II, having attained the rank of Mailman 3rd Class.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Sunday, February 15th, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16th, at the Maplewood Baptist Church, 729 Salem Street, Malden, at 10 AM. Pastor Gary L. Mc Clenthen of Maplewood Baptist Church and Sibley's son-in-law, Rev. William Bellaire will be officiating. Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

Hubert E. “Hubie” Mc Lennan
Hubert Earle “Hubie” Mc Lennan, 74, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA. Hubie was born and educated in Malden and when he completed school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He saw service in the Asiatic/Pacific, European-Pacific and Middle East areas. When he was discharged he went to work for his father as a carpenter and continued to serve in the Naval Reserve. He then reenlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 during the Korean Conflict. When he was discharged in 1953 he went back to work with his dad as a carpenter and eventually operated his own construction business in the Malden, Melrose area until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the Harold O. Young VFW Post of Melrose, The Lodge of Stirling A.F. & A.M. of Malden and the Royal Arch Chapter of the Tabernacle of Malden. Mr. Mc Lennan lived in Melrose, Massachusetts for 37 Years and was previously from Malden.
He is survived by his wife Bernice C. “Nicky”(Worth) Mc Lennan of Melrose, his daughter, Cynthia A. Bossi of Wakefield, his son in-law, Scott Bossi of Wakefield, his brothers; Donald A. Mc Lennan of Stoneham, William A. Mc Lennan, Jr. of Revere and his grandchildren Benjamin S. Bossi ,Julia A. Bossi and Christopher C. Bossi of Wakefield.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Herbert E. Mc Lennan of Malden.
He was born March 3, 1928 in Malden, MA. the son of the late William and Myrtle. (Battershall) Mc Lennan Sr. of Malden.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street Malden on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

Esther Foote Lennick
Esther Foote Lennick, 86, of Malden, died Friday, December 12, 2003 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. Esther was born and raised in Canada. She came to Malden at an early age, and settled there with her first husband, the late George W. Bowdridge Sr. until his passing. Esther worked for many years as a nurses aide in the Malden Nursing Home and also at E.M.O.C.H. center in Malden. She later remarried to Mr. Louis Lennick, and the two shared many years together. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Malden, and active with the Clarke Fellowship there. She was also member St. Annes Guild within St. in Malden, a member of AARP, and a member of the Womens Society of the First Baptist Church in Malden. William Paul Leonard
William Paul Leonard, 70, a retired master mechanic died, suddenly, Saturday, December 23, 2000 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA after being stricken at his home with a heart attack. He was born and educated in Watertown and after completing high school he went to work for the Metropolitan Petroleum Co. of Chelsea where he was employed as a Master Mechanic for over 35 years until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Malden, the Family Motor Coach Assoc. of America and Canada and was a member of IAMAW Machinist Union. Mr. Leonard lived in Malden, MA for 48 Years and was previously from Watertown.
He is survived by his wife, Ann M. (Santangelo) Leonard of Malden, His daughters, Karen M. Goglia of NH, Denise A. Norman of Malden and Lynn A. Leonard of Melrose. His brother, Daniel Leonard of Brocton, his brother, Thomas Leonard of Worchester, his sister Patricia Coughlin of Dorchester, his brother, Richard Leonard of MN, his sister, Barbara Leonard of WI, his brother Paul Leonard and five grandchildren.
He was born February 28, 1930 in Watertown, Massachusetts the son of the late William and Mary (Galvin) Leonard.

Mildred Levenson
Mildred Levenson, 88, a retired seamstress for Gordon Clothes Manufacturing, died Monday, May 07, 2001 at Dexter House Nursing Home in Malden. Mildred was born in Somerville in 1913, and moved to Malden at the age of 11. She was educated in the Malden school systems, and attended Malden High School. She worked as a seamstress and a fitter for 26 years in the Gordons. She also worked at Converse Rubber in Malden and Wilmington, retiring in 1977.
She is survived by her sister Mildred Fowler of Billerica, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Harry, and her mother Frances (Mahaffa) Levenson, and also her brother Albert A. Levenson, .
She was born January 01, 1913 in Somerville, Massachusetts the daughter of Harry and Frances (Mahaffa) Levenson.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

Norma Grace Lever
Norma Grace Lever, 75, died Friday, August 30, 2002 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA after a lengthily illness.. Norma was born in Lynn and educated in Malden Schools. When she completed school she met her husband Fred and married and raised her family. While her children were in school she worked at Santoro's Sub Shop on Main St. in Malden for several years. She then went to work for Warner Cable of Medford as a cable technician where she was employed for over ten years until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Centre United Methodist Church of Malden. Mrs. Lever lived in Malden, MAfor the past fifty six years.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick A. Lever of Malden, her sons; John A Lever of FL, Paul E. Lever of Lynnfield, Ernest R. Lever of Malden and Edward H. Lever of Malden, her brother, Fred A. Choate of Tyngsboro and her sister Edith Choate of Malden, MA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles M. Choate of FL.
She was born December 5, 1926 in Lynn, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Bell) Choate.

Dorothy A. Lewis
Dorothy A. Lewis, 80, of Malden died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Harborside Cedar Glen Nursing Home in Danvers. Dorothy was born and raised in Chelsea, attending the Chelsea school system. She married her sweatheart, Charles J. Lewis in 1940, and the two would share over 40 years together until Charles passing in 1981. During WWII she aided the homefront war effort by working at the Boston Naval Shipyard. Following her employment there, she worked for many years as a nurses aid for Mc Fadden Manor nursing home in Malden, until her retirement in 1982. Even after her retirement, she worked a few years in Mal's Bakery in Malden. Mrs. Lewis lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 52 years and was previously from.
She is survived by her daughters Dorothy C. Walsh of Peabody, Linda T. Foster of Chelsea, her son Charles J. and his wife Mary Lou Lewis of Panama City, FL, by Grace Cayon (sister) of Carver, as well as 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J Lewis, her parents William P. Catherine (Williams) Mc Hatton, her brother John A. Mc Hatton, and her sister Mary E. Zinchuk.

Robert Earl Lewis
Robert Earl Lewis, 73, died, suddenly, Monday, October 28, 2002 at his home in Malden, MA. Robert was born and educated in Somerville and after completing high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served with the 65th Engineer Battalion of the 25th Infantry Division during the Korean Conflict. He returned to Somerville after his discharge and went to work for Jackson Chairs of Somerville as a laborer and was employed there for over twenty years until retiring due to a disability. Mr. Lewis lived in Malden, MA for the past fourteen years and was previously from Somerville.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jeanne Di Chicco of Malden, his daughter Janet A. and her husband John Gibson of NH, his son, Robert F. Lewis of NH, his son, Michael J. Lewis of NH, his brother, George Lewis of ME, his brother Frank Lewis of FL, his brother in-law, Edward & his wife Edna O'Brien of Arlington and his grandchildren Robyn, Dennis and Julie Di Chicco and Allyson and Katie Gibson

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict having attained the rank of Pfc. enlisting on December 15, 1951 at Boston, MA discharged on November 13, 1952 at Ft. Devens, MA

Kenneth Wesley Liddell
Kenneth Wesley Liddell, 76, died Thursday, October 31, 2002 at Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, MA after a lengthy illness. Ken was born in Malden and grew up in Everett where he was educated, graduating Everett High School with the "Class of 1943". When he graduated from high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, when W.W.II broke out. He served as Yeoman Second Class Aboard the USS Thorn hill, Destroyer DE 195 in the European, African, Asiatic and Pacific Theaters until the end of the war. After his discharge he became a salesman for North Shore Heating Supply Co. in Lynn. He soon met his wife Helen and they were married July 15, 1950 at The Everett Congregational Church. He later went to work as a salesman for Walden Pipe of Wakefield where he was employed for a number of years until his retirement. He was a long time Northern Little League Coach in Malden and a member of the Youth Committee at the Malden YMCA. He was an avid bowler and loved to read and do cross word puzzles. He loved to play bridge at the DAV of Malden where he was a member and was devoted to his wife, children and grand children. Mr. Liddell lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 52 years and was previously from Everett.
He is survived by his wife Helen L. (Maynard) Liddell of Malden, his sons: Roy W. Liddell of Attleboro & Kenneth C. Liddell of IL, his daughters: Dorothy J. Holmgren of Wakefield & Nancy A. Cutino of Tyngsboro, his sisters: Marjorie Kelleher of Malden & Barbara Conway of Burlington, nine Grandchildren and three Gt.-Grandchildren.
He was born December 16, 1925 in Malden, MA the son of the late Frank and Inez (Mitchell) Liddell. He served in the Navy during World War II having attained the rank of Yeoman, Second Class. Enlisting on August 7, 1943 at Boston, MA and discharged on May 4, 1945 at Boston, MA

Kathleen Marie Linck
Kathleen M. Linck, 53, died Wednesday afternoon, July 14, 2004 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA Kathleen was born and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School with the Class of 1969. John and Kathleen were married on June 6, 1970 in Saugus, MA. Kathleen was a dance instructor at Charleena's School of Dance in Saugus for twenty-five years and also loved doing crafts and working her daughters school fairs. She was fond of boating on Lake Winnipesaukee with her family and friends. Mrs. Linck was a lifelong resident of Malden.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Linck of Malden, her daughters, Shirlene "Sherry" M. Martiniello and her husband Luigi of Danville, NH and Kathleen "Katrina" E. Linck of Malden, her brother Paul Bartlett of Lincoln, NH, and her sister Lorraine L. Mc Lellan of Melrose.
She was born February 14, 1951 in Malden, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Elwood and Ida (Dziezic) Bartlett.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. in the Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home. The Rev. Ruth R. Oduor Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.

Leon H. Lincoln Jr.
Leon H. Lincoln Jr. passed away on June 14th after a lengthy illness. He was 61. Mr. Lincoln lived in Malden all his life. He was educated in the Malden school systems, and in 1959 he graduated from the Malden Vocational High School,. After graduating he joined the Marine Corps. He served from 1959 to 1965, during the time of the Vietnam War. After being discharged from the marines Mr. Lincoln returned to the Malden area, and drove a truck for many years. In 1984 he married his wife Donna M Hewitt, and the two shared the next 18 years together, raising their daughter Katherine. After leaving the trucking business, he went opn to become a constable for the cities of Malden and Medford. Leon was also a lifetime member of the VFW of Malden Post 639.
Mr. Lincoln leaves behind his beloved wife Donna (Hewitt) Lincoln and his loving daughter Katherine E. Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln was the son of the late Leon H. Lincoln Sr. and the late Florence (Johnson) Lincoln. He was also the brother of the late Robert Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, at 10:00 AM, with pastor Jim Todd of the Center United Methodist Church Officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, June 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Lorraine (Radziewicz) Lindsay
Lorraine (Radziewicz) Lindsay, 64, of Brockton, formerly of Chelsea, died Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA. Lorraine was born and raised in Chelsea and was a graduate of Chelsea High School Class of 1959. After high school, Lorraine went to work for the John Hancock Insurance Company of Boston. She worked as a clerk in the insurance industry for many years, until her retirement.
She is survived by her sister, Marlene Radziewicz of Malden, her brother, Edmund Radz and his wife Mary of Lexington, her very dear friend, Carlo Nardozzo of Holbrook. Lorraine was the aunt of Michael Radz of Providence, RI and Julie Radz of Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her father Edmund Radziewicz and her mother Helen G. (Kosakowski) Radziewicz.
Visiting hours have been omitted at the families request.

Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10AM. The Rev. Richard T. Bakker will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow in the Woodlawn Crematory, Everett.

Bernice Elaine Lindstrom
Bernice Elaine Lindstrom, 73, of Malden, died Sunday, August 25, 2002 at her daughter's home in Brimfield, MA after a brief illness. Bernice was born and educated in Revere, MA and after completing high school worked as a secretary for John Hancock Insurance Co. When she married she and her husband moved to North Carolina where they resided for four years. The family then moved to South Hadley, MA where they resided for seven years before settling in Malden thirty six years ago. She then managed the Coffee Shop at Nelsons Bakery in Malden for ten years before going to work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an office manager for the Department of Mental Health both in Malden and Wakefield retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Eagles Heights Church of Revere. Mrs. Lindstrom lived in Malden, Ma for 36 Years and was previously from South Hadley and Revere.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine L. Belanger of IL, her daughter, Ruth M. Leth-Steensen of Brimfield, her sisters, Ruth B. Lindsay of Malden, Olive Nemcovich of NH, Winnie V. Mercer of Saugus and her brother, the Rev. Ralph E. Mulley of FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold V. Lindstrom, her son Ralph V. Lindstrom, of Malden, her brother John K. Mulley, of Saugus, and her brother George A Mulley of CT.
She was born June 25, 1929 in Revere, MA the daughter of the late John K. and Hettie (Sellars) Mulley.

Mildred Luna Liset
Mildred Luna (Bates) Liset, 78, a retired nursing supervisor, died Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at the Lahey-Hitchcock Clinic in Burlington, MA after a long illness. Mildred was a graduate of Black River High School in Ludlow, VT with the Class of 1941. After high school she moved to Boston and graduated from the New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1944. She worked there until she married and raised her family in Revere, MA. Mildred was the visiting nurse for the City of Revere from 1960-1966. She returned to the New England Baptist Hospital and was the Nursing Supervisor of the I.V. Department from 1966-1987. Mildred retired in 1987. She also worked at the Malden Hospital part time and was a very active member of the Maplewood Baptist in Malden. Mildred's life was a testimony to her faith in Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela J. Donovan of Maine, Michele Smith of Washington, Denise Liset of Malden, MA and her grandchildren, Ryan & Amanda Smith of Washington.
She was born November 9, 1923 in Cavendish, VT the daughter of the late Leo and Fleda (Van Guilder) Bates.
Visiting hours have been omitted.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. in the Maplewood Baptist Church, 729 Salem St. Malden with Rev. Jack Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Cavendish, VT at a later date.

Lloyd Leslie Lister
Lloyd Leslie “Red” Lister, 87, longtime resident of Malden, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at his home. Red was born in Everett, and then raised in Somerville, attending the school systems there and graduating with the Class of 1935. He worked at GE in Lynn before being drafted into the Navy. Once in the navy, he became a carpenters mate and served with the "SeaBee's" during WWII. Following his discharge, he returned to the Boston area and resumed his employment with GE. He worked for GE for over 40 years, starting out as an Inspector, and then becoming a Foreman before retiring as a Planner for the company.
Red was a past member of the Malden Moose, and the VFW Post 2369 of Saugus. Hewas also an avid gardener who took great pride in his tomatoes, and he also enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy L. and her husband Arthur Bolduc of Malden, and Joan E. Lister of Malden, her grandchildren, Debra L. Gallagher, Joseph A. Bolduc, David L. Bolduc, Robert Cinicola, Sandra L. Lister, and 4 great grand chilren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Winifred, his parents, James B. and Elizabeth (Ritchie) Lister, his son Robert L. Lister, his brothers, James, Harry, John, William, and Robert, and his sister, Nettie Allen.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Wednesday from 4 - 7 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14th, at 11 AM. Rev. Rebecca Kavich Girash of The First Church in Malden, Congregation will be officiating. Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

Etta Livingstone
Etta Livingstone, 98, died Saturday, August 31, 2002 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, MA, after a brief illness. Etta was born in London, England and came to the United States at the age of two with her family settling in Malden. When she completed school she married and raised her family. She then went to work as a sales clerk for several Malden retail stores. She loved to crochet, knit and loved to cook for her family and friends. She was also an avid bingo player having started playing over sixty- five years ago and up to a month ago was still playing. Mrs. Livingstone lived in Malden, MA for ninety-six years.
She is survived by her daughter, Elinor Ammidown of Malden, her brother, Maurice Levy of Revere, her sisters, Gertrude Foreman of Lynn and Pauline Sugerman of Wilmington, her daughter in-law, Margery Livingstone of OR, three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her husband Neil Livingstone and her son Donald Livingstone both formerly of Malden.
She was born February 27, 1904 in London, England he daughter of the late Abraham and Leah (Lipchewitz) Levy.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd from 2-4 PM.

Jean Florence Locke
Jean Florence Locke, 77, died May 3, 2005 at the Kaiser Hospital in San Diego, CA. Jean was born and raised in Charlestown, MA, the daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Ferguson) Long. After she graduated from Charlestown High School, she went to work for Schraft’s Candy Co. for a short time until she married her sweetheart, Raymond E. Locke, on July 2, 1955. The couple moved to Malden shortly after their marriage to start their family. After many years as a dedicated and devoted mother, Jean and Ray moved to San Diego in 1977 to enjoy their retirement. The couple would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year. Along with being a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife, Jean was an avid bingo player, playing most of the time at St. Joseph’s Church. Jean also enjoyed shopping and bargaining at any flea market or thrift store in the area.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond E. Locke of San Diego, CA, her daughters, Judy A. and her husband, Stephen, Smith of Everett, and Debra J. and her husband, Dale, Dodds of Temecula, CA, her sons, Raymond E. Locke, Jr. of Malden, and William P. Locke of San Diego, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Jean was the last surviving sibling of 9 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home 144 Salem St. MALDEN on Monday May 9th from 4 to 7:30 PM. A service of reflections will take place immediately following the calling hours from 7:30 to 8 PM. A public committal service will be held at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden, on Tuesday, May 10th at 10AM.

Alfred Martin Loeser
Alfred Martin Loeser, of Florida, formerly of Melrose & Malden, died Wednesday, March 03, 2004 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in West Coco Beach, Florida. Alfred was born in Malden, and raised and educated in Melrose. At an early age he returned to Malden and became a founding member of the Malden German Club. He was employed as warehouseman for A&P Tea Co for over forty three years until his retirement in 1972. Alfred has now lived in Melrose over forty years, until retiring to Florida 10 years ago. Mr. Loeser lived in Merritt Island, Florida for 10 years and was previously from Malden, 53 years.
He is survived by his daughter Claire A. Baleyko of Fl, his son David G. Loeser, Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy A., his father George H. Loeser, his mother Helene C. Schmidt, and his son Barry M. Loeser, his sister Ella M. Loeser, and his brothers George and Rudolph Loeser.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Sunday, March 7th, from 7-9 PM.

John Albert Lofstrand
John Albert Lofstrand, 90, a retired financial officer for First National Bank of Boston, where he worked for 46 years, died Friday, October 5, 2001 at the Copley at Stoughton in Stoughton, MA. John was born in Chelsea and educated in Cambridge & Everett schools systems.
When he completed school he became a messenger for the U.S. Trust of Boston before going to work for the First National Bank of Boston in the counting room. When W.W. II broke out he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until the end of the war. He returned to the First National Bank of Boston where he was employed for forty-six years, and at his retirement in 1975 were servings as a financial officer. He was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church of Malden where he was also a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood. He was a member of the Malden Senior Citizen Center and a member of their harmonica band for over twenty-seven years. He was also very active with Boy Scout Troop # 612 of the Maplewood Baptist Church where he served as Assistant Scout Master and a member of the Executive Board. Mr. Lofstrand had resided in Malden for many years
John was survived by his sons, Richard J. Lofstrand of Newnan, GA, and Carl O. Lofstrand of West Bridgewater, MA, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice E. Anderson, his father John R. Lofstrand, his mother Augusta Stone, and his sister Lillian Helgason-Svenson preceded him in death.
He was born November 3, 1910 in Chelsea, Massachusetts the son of John and Augusta (Stone) Lofstrand.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II having attained the rank of Pvt. He enlisted on November 24, 1942 at Boston, MA discharged on August 19, 1943 at Camp Edwards, MA

Mary A. Logue
Mary A.(Carducci) Logue, 88, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the Harborside Health Care in Wakefield, MA Mary was born in Cambridge and raised and educated in Malden. She married Paul A. Logue on November 24, 1934 in Sacred Hearts Church and the couple would settle in Malden and raise their three children. Mary was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Hearts Church in Malden and loved reading, playing cards and cribbage. She loved to travel, and had visited Hawaii, Aruba and taken a few cruises with her friends. Mrs. Logue had lived in Malden for the last thirty-one years.
She is survived by daughter Maryann Lockhart and her husband Allen of Ogunquit, ME, her sons, Paul A. Logue Jr. of Billerica and Thomas J. Logue of Tampa, FL, her sister Theresa Hallowell of Everett, and her cherished seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Logue Sr., her father Vincent Carducci, and her mother Catherine Scacchi. She was born June 30, 1916 in Cambridge, MA.
Contributions in Mary's memory maybe made to the Beacon Hospice, 100 Cummings Center Suite 222C, Beverly, MA 01945.
At the request of the family, Mary's funeral service and interment will be private.

Judianne Elizabeth Long
Judianne Elizabeth Long, 48, a housewife and mother, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at her home in Salem, New Hampshire. Judianne was born and raised in Cambrige, attending the local schools there. At an early age, she moved to Malden, and became a member of Sacred Hearts Church in Malden. Soon after she married her sweetheart, Frank R. Long, and the two would share the next 25 years together. Judianne was also a skilled painter and enjoyed arts and crafts. Mrs. Long lived in Salem, New Hampshire for the past 10 years after was previously living in Malden.
She is survived by her husband Frank R. Long of Salem, NH, her father and his wife Leonard J., Sr. and Doris (Piwinski) Landry of Malden, her children Suzanne E., Christopher R. and Shalece K. Long, all of Salem NH, her sisters Karen Landry of Salem, NH, and Lorraine Black of Maine, her brothers Leonard J. Landry Jr. of Nashua, NH, David Landry of Georgia, John "Jackie" Landry of Salem, NH, and James M. Landry of Nashua, NH, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Teresa (Scanell) Long, formerly of Malden.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Thursday, June 19th, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Angelina G. Lopilato
Angelina G. Lopilato, 96, died suddenly Thursday evening, May 30, 2002 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA. Mrs. Lopilato had lived in Everett, MA for the last 49 Years and was previously from Malden. Angelina was in customer service for New York Central Railroad, in Boston and had worked there for 25 years retiring in 1975. Mrs. Lopilato was also a fashion designer for a Couture House in Boston for 8 years. She was a former member of the Revere Ladies Lodge # 1601. She loved flowers and working in her garden as well as spending time with her 13 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Rita A. Kane of Pittsfield & Jean S. Conforti of Everett, her sons, Orlando A. Conforti of Malden & Louis G. Lopilato of NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis G. Lopilato, her father Orlando Cuoco, her mother Sophie Perillo, her son Joseph A. Conforti, her brothers Anthony Cuoco & Orlando Cuoco, and her sister Bernice Marmai.
She was born October 11, 1905 Albanelia, Italy, the daughter of the late Orlando and Sophie (Perillo) Cuoco. Her family moved to the Boston area in 1908.
Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 3, 2002 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea. Fr. James J. Barry will be the celebrate. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Everett, MA.

John Edward Lorgeree
John “Jack” E. Lorgeree, 64, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at Sawtelle Hospice House, Reading. Jack was born in Everett, and was the son of the late Edward A. & Ethel M. (Young) Lorgeree. He was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School Class of 1958. After high school Jack joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed mostly in France, he was discharged as an Airman 1 Class in June of 1962. Jack continued his education at Bentley College in Boston for four years and would later graduate at the top of his class as an accountant. After college Jack worked for N. E. England Telephone, W.R. Grace Company in Woburn and Converse Rubber Company in Reading as an accountant and computer expert. Jack later retired in 2001, after twenty plus years with the company.
Jack always wanted to be a weatherman and was always concerned with the weather, often times reporting it to other family members. He was an avid computer user, loved to watch movies, had a love for music, bowling, long walks and cross country skiing. He was well loved and will be missed by his entire family. Jack had lived in Tewksbury for over twenty five years and was previously from Malden.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara A. Rivers and her husband Arthur of Malden, and was the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Trisha A. Williams formerly of Lynn.
Visitation will be held at Weir ~MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden on Monday, December 12th. from 2-4 & 7-9

Robert Kirkland Love
Robert Kirkland “Bob” Love, 79, well known organist and choir director passed away Saturday September 21st, at his home in Medford after a brief illness. Robert was born in Melrose and educated in Malden Public Schools. At the age of nine he began taking piano lessons and progressed rapidly to the organ at the age of twelve. He took lessons from the late Dr. Edward Snow of Trinity Episcopal Church of Boston. He quickly mastered this complex instrument and at the age of fourteen became the organist for St. Paul’s Episcopal Parish of Malden. This was soon followed by his appointment at the age of seventeen as Organist and Choir Master of St. Paul’s Parish., Malden. He graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1940. He then went on to Boston University where he majored in music. In his senior year of college he started teaching instrumental and choral classes at Malden High School on a part time basis. He received his Masters Degree in Music from Boston University in 1946.
He then became Director of Music at Malden High School where he taught music appreciation and theory instilling in thousands of students a great love of music. He was also Director of the Orchestra, Choral Art Society and the Chamber Orchestra. He would perform concerts at different nursing homes around the city and traveled with these different groups through out the states giving concerts. He remained there until 1964 when he transferred to Melrose High School to become the Director of the Music Department and the Melrose High School Band until his retirement in 1972.
He continued his position as organist and choir director at St. Paul’s Episcopal Parish for over twenty years until becoming the Minister of Music at the First Baptist Church in Malden where he has been the organist and choir director for the past forty -five years.
In the summer season he was Director of Music at Camp Lanakila, part of the Aloha Camps, in Farlee, VT for forty-five years except for a five year period when he was Director of Music for the Bretton Woods Boys Choir in Bretton Woods, NH.
He was instrumental in starting the Ecumenical Church Choir of Malden, which has preformed Christmas Concerts at the First Baptist Church of Malden for the past forty six years. He was also Director of the Choral Art Society Alumni, which would also perform concerts throughout the area. Recently the Bob Love Community Chorus sang at the 9/11 services of remembrance at the Malden Government Center
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Malden and St. Paul’s Parish of Malden and prominent in the American Guild of Organists and would perform concerts throughout New England and other states.
Mr. Love lived in Medford, MA the past forty –nine years having moved there from Malden in 1953.
He is survived by his Brother John F. Love of Vancouver, WA and his nieces Vivian M. Love and Victoria D. Otsuka of CA.
He was preceded in death by his sister Judith A Love of Medford.
He was born December 12, 1922 in Melrose, MA the son of the late Robert and Millicent (Knipe) Love.
Visitation will be held at the Weir Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday September 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Marie Jose' Luc
Marie Jose’ Luc of Malden, formerly of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. She was 49 years old. Marie who was a Native of Haiti moved to Massachusetts in 1971 where she later became an American Citizen. Marie was a resident of Cambridge for 25 years before moving to Malden.
She was an active member of the Haitian community and belonged to many organizations such as PNDPH (Parti National Democratique Progresiste D’Hait), CHAMA, Cambridge MultiCultural Service Center and The Cambridge Police Review Board. In 1992, Marie was recognized by the Mayor of Cambridge for organizing the twelve member Haitian American Electoral Task Force and for being an advocate for the betterment and progression of the Haitian population. She later worked at the Board of Bar Overseers for 13 years disciplining Lawyers as a Case Administrator. From January 2002, Marie worked at The Trial Court as the Assessment Project Assistant for the Domestic Violence Unit. She was a member of the Haitian Nazareen Church of Malden where she was a Youth Leader and Sunday School Teacher. Every year, Marie would donate toys, turkeys, food and other necessities to dozens of families in the Greater Boston and surrounding areas.
Marie is survived by her mother M. Jeannette Jeudy and her husband Jacques Jeudy, her father Marcel J. St. Surin, her son Ashley Lissaint, her daughters Frantzie Luc and Margreth Vital, her sister Elsye Luc, her brothers Adrien, Eric, Jack, Alex and Ronald St. Surin, her granddaughter Kamaiyah A. Lissaint, and a great number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be remembered mostly for her work in the Church and for her generous ways.
Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Friday evening, May 16th from 6-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning May 17th, from 8:30-11am at the Eglise Haitiene Du Nazareen Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Malden.

Corinne Margaret Lynch
Corinne M. (Hubbard) Lynch, 82, died suddenly on Friday February 25, 2005. Corinne was born in Malden and educated in the Immaculate Conception school and a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden, Class of 1940. She was a long time communicant and former volunteer of the Immaculate Conception Parish.
She would later marry her sweetheart Eugene F. Lynch Jr. on February 19, 1944 in the Immaculate Conception Parish. The couple would settle in Malden and eventually moved to their homestead on Julia St., in Malden, where the couple would raise their six sons and daughter. Corinne and Eugene were married for 45 years until Eugene passed away 16 years ago.
Corinne worked nights as a postal clerk at the South Boston Postal Annex for over fifteen years until she had to leave because of disability. She was an avid bingo player who enjoyed the game but mostly the company of friends. She loved traveling with family and friends and spending time out wining and dining. Corinne and her husband loved following the New England Patriots and the Boston College Football games, often traveling to games in the area.
Corinne is survived by her daughter, Mary L. Blackstone of Braintree, her sons Eugene F. Lynch III of Everett, Dennis J. and Edward J. Lynch both of Malden, John D. Lynch of Lynnfield, James A. Lynch of Bedford, NH, her loving sister Leona Reilly of Malden and her cherished thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Lynch Jr. and her parents John O. Hubbard and Maryann L. LeBlanc, her brother Lawrence Hubbard formerly of Yarmouth Port and her sister Evelyn Smith formerly of Malden.
Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1st. from 4-8PM.
