Margaret Catherine “Peggy” McNaught
Peggy McNaught, 77, died Friday, July 8, 2005 at Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA after a long illness. Born in Malden on August 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Lillian M. (Spencer) D’Eon. Peggy attended the Chevrus Girls School in Malden and graduated with the class of 1945. She married her sweetheart Edward A. McNaught on June 17, 1950 in Sacred Hearts Church in Malden were Peg was a communicant. The couple lived in Malden for over forty years until her illness forced her to take residence at the Windgate Nursing Home in Reading. The two just recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this past June. She was a member of the Norman Prince Princettes, a ladies chorus in Melrose. Peggy loved watching her grandchildren's sporting events and enjoyed dancing and having a good time and loved life.
She is survived by husband, Edward A. McNaught of North Reading, her children, Gail McNaught Fortin of North Reading, Edward A. and his wife Perri-Ann McNaught, Jr. of Windham, ME, and Kathy A. and her husband, Thomas, Cullity of Tewksbury, her brothers, Raymond A. D'Eon of Freedom, NH, Robert F. D'Eon of Woburn, John T. D'Eon of Virginia Beach, VA, and William D'Eon of Everett, her sisters, Claire Bannon of Malden, Janet Morello of Revere, and Marie Zampitella of Malden, her grandchildren, George A. Fortin III, Kerri A. Cullity, Edward A. McNaught III, Amanda Fortin, Timothy P. McNaught, Amy L. McNaught, Lauren M. Cullity, Lindsey A. Cullity, and Patrick T. Cullity, her great-grandchildren, Margaret "Maggie" Fortin and George A. Fortin, her brother-in-law, William and his wife, Dorothy, McNaught of Malden.
She was preceded in death recently by her brother, James D’Eon and her sister-in-law, Audrey D’Eon.
Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden on Monday, July 11th at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St. Malden at 11 AM. Dwight James Mc Neil
Dwight James Mc Neil, 71, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston, MA after a lengthily illness. Dwight was born and educated in Ebenezer, NY and moved to Malden, MA in 1956. He was employed as a stock clerk in the manufacturing industry for several years until having to retire because of his health.
He is survived by his mother, Maude D. (Raszman) Mc Neil of Malden and his sister, Nancy J. Meek.
He was preceded in death by his father James W. Mc Neil, and his brother Robert J. Mc Neil.
He was born December 30, 1930 in Ebenezer, New York the son of Maude (Raszman) Mc Neil of Malden and the late James W. Mc Neil.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2002 at 12 noon. at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home with the Rev. Martha A. Dominy of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Morrison Cemetery in Deerfield.

Kenneth Rodney Meader
Kenneth R. Meader died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at his home in Melrose, he was 85. Born on November 26, 1920 in Melrose, he was the son of the late Capt. Frank H. and Florence Ames (Wiggins) Meader. At an early age, Ken moved to Hampton, NH where he received his primary education. He returned to Melrose and attended Melrose High School before enlisting in the U.S. Navy on July 31, 1942. Ken served during World War II, attaining the rank of Machinist's Mate 2nd Class. He fought through the American, European, African and Middle East Theaters before the time he was discharged on October 17, 1945.
After he returned home, Ken opened up Ken Meader's Garage on Salem St. in Malden which he operated for over thirty-six years. His slogan; "If Your Car Won't Start, Don't Get Madder, Get Meader" became widely known throughout the area. During the winter storms, Ken was also well known and seen around town for his snow removal work with his huge front end loader. During the blizzard of 1978, he was one of the few that were able to handle the large snow accumulation.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Malden for over sixty years and was a dedicated volunteer for Operation Friendship, a faction of the church. Ken was also a member of the Mt Vernon Galilean Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Malden for over fifty years, as well as a member of the Aleppo Temple Shrine of Wilmington, the Everett Lodge of Odd Fellows, and the Disabled American Veterans Post # 120 of Melrose. Mr. Meader was a life-long resident of Melrose.
He is survived by his wife Eileen J. (Pineau) Meader and his daughter, Joan Meader and her husband, Paul J. Mongeau of Melrose as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his late siblings, Florence Paulson, Frank Meader, Helen Osborn, Ora Meader, Arthur Meader, Shirley Beckwith, and Marion Golini.

John Joseph Medeiros
John J. Medeiros, died Tuesday morning, January 17, 2006 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford., he was 78. Born on February 11, 1927, in Somerville, he was the son of the late Joseph A. & Maria B. (Cordero) Medeiros. He was educated in the Somerville school system and lived in Malden for the last thirty years he was formerly from the Somerville and Cambridge area.
John was a truck mechanic with the former Northeast International Truck in Medford for over twenty years, until retiring in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, hockey and the Boston Bruins. John was an avid model car collector and enjoyed vacationing in Maine.
He is survived by his life partner, Jeanne L. De Priest of Malden, his son, John Medeiros of Ayer, MA and two grandchildren. His sister, Stella Manning of Waltham, his brothers, Joseph & Richard Medeiros both of Somerville, his step-children, Deborah Halberg of Bellows Falls, VT Monika Saad Saoud of Katy, TX, Franz Diesenbeck III of Clayton, NC, special grandfather to Amir & Alia Saad Saoud of Katy, TX, also survived by many nieces and nephews..
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph A. Medeiros, his mother Maria B. (Cordero) Medeiros, and his brothers Thomas, Edward and George Medeiros.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Monday, January 23rd at 12 noon in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden.

Edward Memmolo
Edward Memmolo, 63, died suddenly Thursday, April 3, 2003 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA. Mr. Memmolo was the former plumbing inspector for City of Malden, where he had worked for the last twenty-one years. Mr. Memmolo had just retired in December of 2002.
Ed was a life long resident of Malden and was educated in the Malden school system. He was active in the Malden community, Sacred Hearts Church and the Malden Schools as well as the Malden Central Little League for many years. Ed served on the Malden City Retirement Board and also taught evening plumbing classes at the Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield. Ed was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife Carol A. (D'Entremont) Memmolo of Malden, his children Edward Memmolo Jr. of Malden, Caren M. Sekenski of Revere, Joseph E. Memmolo of Malden, Michelle Memmolo of Malden. His sister Janice Stead of Bellingham, his brother Ronald Memmolo of Loudon, NH, his grandchildren Shauna, Michael, Patrick, Chiarina, Simone, Jessica Memmolo, Michael A. Sekenski, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was born October 6, 1939 in Malden, MA the son of late Michael and Catherine (DeSimone) Memmolo.

Aileen Grace Metcalf
Aileen Grace Metcalf, 79, a retired circuit board designer died Tuesday, December 26, 2000 at Sunbridge of Wilmington in Wilmington, Massachusetts. She was born and educated in Malden and after completing her education enlisted into the U.S. Marne Corp. during WW II. When the war ended she was discharged and she resided in California before returning to Malden. She then went to work for Teradyne Co. in Boston as a circuit board designer where she was employed for over twenty years until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of the First Parish in Malden, Universalist. Miss Metcalf lived in Malden, Massachusetts for over seventy years..
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki M. Mandell and her son in-law, Jack Irwin Mandell of Saugus, her sister, Eleanor Carnes of Malden, and a grandson, Bradley J. Mandell of Saugus.
She was born December 31, 1920 in Malden, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Sargent) Edwards. She served in the Marines during World War II having attained the rank of Cpl.. enlisted on April 20, 1943 at Boston, MA discharged on September 29, 1945 at Camp Lejeune, NC

Beverley Preston Mhoon
Beverley Preston Mhoon, 82, a longtime resident of Malden, died Wed, April 20th. Beverly was born and raised in Melrose, but had moved to Malden during her school years and had finished her education there. After high school, she took employment with Converse Rubber in Malden, where she worked for many years. Throughout her life, Beverley was an active member of the Malden community, and attended many functions for various groups with her husband Charles Mhoon. After the passing of her husband, Charlie, she lived in Chelmsford to be with her son Jim, and then recently she moved to her grandson’s home in W. Springfield, so he could help to look after her.
She is survived by her son, James M. Collins of Chelmsford, her grandchildren, Charles A. Collins of W. Springfield and Bonnie Jean Del Greco of Fremont, NH, her sister, Marjorie Mini of Malden, her brother Bruce Preston of California, and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Mhoon, her parents, James and Charlotte (O'Connor) Preston, her daughter Charlotte Collins, her son Dennis Collins, and her sisters Dorothy Preston, and her brothers, Russell, and John Preston.

Charles Wesley Mhoon
Charles Wesley Mhoon, 73, of Malden, died Thursday, April 17, 2003 at Hammersmith Nursing Care Center in Saugus. Charlie was born in Boston, and raised and educated in Malden. He attended Malden High School, until he, like many others of his day, left early to enlist in the US Navy. He served with the Navy from 1951 until his discharge in 1953, during the Korean Conflict.
Following his discharge, he took employment with the Boston Naval Shipyard. He worked there until 1963 when and accident caused a disability and forced his early retirement. Charles was very active in the local community, he was an active member with the Malden Order of Eagles Eagles, Malden Knights of Columbus, the Irish American Club in Malden, and the Malden Elks.
He is survived by his wife Beverly P. (Preston) of Malden, his stepson, James M. Collins of Chelmsford, and his grandchildren Charles A. Collins of Malden, and Bonnie Jean Del Greco of Fremont, NH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Ethel (Walters) Mhoon, and his sister Nancy C. Mhoon.

John Peter Micalizzi
John Peter Micalizzi, 88, a retired floor layer for DiNatle Floor Co., where he worked for over 40 years, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at Rainbow Nursing Center in Peabody, MA. John was born in Boston, and later moved to Malden. He was educated at the Randolph School for the Deaf. After completing his education, he went to work for DiNatle Floor Co. of Neponset as a floor layer performing all sorts of installations. John installed the original ceiling hardwood in the Hatch shell along the Charles River in Boston and the parquet flooring in the old Boston Garden. John worked at his trade for over forty years and retired in 1975. He was a lifelong and honorary member of the Carpenters Local Union, # 67 of Dorchester. He was also a member of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish for many years.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Summers of Chelsea, Dorothy G. Crotty of Malden, father-in-law of Paul T. Crotty of Malden. He was the grandfather of Joseph Micalizzi and his wife Megan Micalizzi of Malden, Deano Summers of Chelsea, Rick Crotty of Malden, Brett Crotty of New Iberia, LA. Great-grandfather of Courtney Crotty of Malden, Ariana Micalizzi of Malden, Samantha Summers of NH, Noelle Summers of NH, Also survived by several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine M. Privitera, his father Vincenzio Micalizzi, and his mother Grazia La Fauci.
He was born July 29, 1912 in Boston, MA the son of the late Vincenzio and Grazia (La Fauci) Micalizzi.

Dorothy Cristine Miller
Dorothy Cristine Miller, 95, a manager for Stoneham Laundry, where she worked for 14 years, died Saturday, January 13, 2001 at Melrose Nuring and Rehab Center in Melrose, Massachusetts. She was born January 23, 1905 in Hillsboro, New Hampshire the daughter of John and Josephine (Duncan) Hartshorn. She moved to Malden at an early age, and completed her eduction there. She continued to live in Malden until 1950. She has been a resident of Harts Hill in Wakefield for the past 25 years, and was treasurer of the Tenants Association there for 15 years.
She is a long time member of the Greenwood Union Church in Wakefield.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Van Tassel of NH, Judith Moran of Wakefield, son Stanley Hirtle of CA ,sister Marie Green of VT, and brother David Hartshorn of VT. Also survived by 8-grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by her father John Hartshorn, and her mother Josephine Duncan.

Paul Redmond Miller
Paul Redmond Miller, 59, a lifelong resident of Malden, died suddenly on Sunday, March 06, at his home. Paul was born and raised in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the class of 1965. Soon after high school, he took employment with Boston Edison, now N. Star Electric, as a lineman. Paul worked with the company for 34 years and had become and Overhead Inspector for the power supply company. For many years, Paul was a coach for the Malden Pop Warner Football league in Malden. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Malden. His favorite pastime though, was spending time with his two grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Mirley) Miller of Malden, his sons, Paul M. and wife Kari L. Miller of Everett, and Shaun Miller and fiancé Lindsay Gagne of W. Roxbury, his sister, Carol West of Nashua, NH, and his grandchildren, Christopher & Michael. Paul is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Eva J. (Redmond) Miller.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Friday, March 11th, from 4-8 PM.

Greta Jane Milton
Greta Jane Milton, 89, died Monday, January 19, 2004 at her home in Malden, MA. Greta was born and educated in Freetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. When she completed school she came to the United States settling in Malden. Soon after she married her husband, George W. Milton, and assisted him in the operation of the I. Milton & Son, Inc. which at the time was an ice delivery business. This grew into the wood, coal and range oil business and one of Malden's most respected fuel oil dealers. She was active in the business now run by her son G. Edmund until 2003. She was an active member of the First Church in Malden, Congregational and she and her husband George were active in square dancing activities through out the area. Mrs. Milton had lived in Malden, MA for the past sixty-nine years.
She is survived by her sons, G. Edmund Milton of Malden, David B. Milton of NH, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Milton.
She was born October 27, 1914 in Freetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, the daughter of John and Charlotte (Crozier) Bernard.

Margaret B. Mirley
Margaret Ava (Daley) Mirley, 88, died Saturday, September 15, 2001 at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford, MA after a lengthy illness. She was born in Shirley, MA and was a graduate of Fitchburg High School Class of 1930. Margaret and her husband Joseph F. Mirley Sr. were married on Sept. 16, 1939. Mrs. Mirley had lived in Malden since 1940. She worked for Transitron Electronics Co. in Melrose, as an assembly line worker for 10 years. Margaret later was a secretary for Dr. Lyons, on Holden St. Malden for 15 years and retired in 1978. Mrs. Mirley had been a communicant of St. Joseph's Church for 40 years. Ma Mirley as she was known, was truly loved by her family.
She is survived by her three sons and one daughter, Joseph F. Mirley Jr. of Malden, Thomas S. Mirley of Malden, James R. Mirley of Malden and Joan M. Miller of Malden. Her sister, Marion S. Smith of Norwalk, CT and 7 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph F. Mirley Sr., her father Francis J. Daley, her mother Bridget F. (Gately) Daley, her brothers Thomas H. Daley, William Daley, her sister, Mary Curran.
She was born March 22, 1913 in Shirley, MA the daughter of the late Francis J. and Bridget F. (Gately) Daley.

Vera “Yah-Yah” Montague
Vera “Yah-Yah” Montague, 89, died suddenly, Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Holy Family Hospital & Medical Center in Methuen, MA. Vera was born in South Weymouth and educated in Malden schools. When she completed school she went to work for Carr Fastener/TWR of Cambridge as an inspector and office manager. She was employed there for over forty-five years until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden. Miss Montague was a lifelong resident of Malden, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her sister, Alice E. Scofield of Needham, her niece, Joan G. Boughan of North Reading and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Grace E. Gillen of West Yarmouth, her sister Dorothy Loser of Malden and her brother Chester Montague of IN.
She was born January 16, 1914 in South Weymouth, MA the daughter of the late William and Annie ( Johns) Montague.

Deana Moore
Deana Moore, 39, of Medford,died December 18, 2001 at the Jewish Memorial Hospital in Boston, after a lengthy illness.. Deana was born in Malden. After her sophmore year in High School, she transfered to W. Roxbury High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1980. She frequently attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Malden, and enjoyed drawing, reading and dancing. Deana worked for the IRS for many years, and only recently retired due to medical conditions. Miss Moore lived in Medford, Massachusetts for 12 years and was previously from Malden.
She is survived by her father Alvin Moore of Mashpee, her mother Elizabeth "Liz" Moore of Malden, her son Ladonne Rogers of Medford, her sister Darcelle and her husband Michael Jones of Malden, her brother Shawn A. Moore of OK, and her sister Nicole Moore of GA. She is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Sacoya Moore.

Barbara Locklin Moran
Barbara Locklin Moran, 90, died Sunday, October 27, 2002 at the Mc Fadden Memorial Manor in Malden, MA. Barbara was born and educated in Malden and a life long resident. She was the oldest member of the Forestdale Community Church of Malden, having been a member since her birth, and the Willing Helpers of the church. She was a Cooperator of the Malden Hospital and Past President and Life Member of the Malden Hospital Ladies Aide Assoc. where she had volunteered for over thirty-seven years. She was also a member of the Malden YWCA, the Jaunter’s of the YWCA, Malden Old & New, the Shattuck Art Class of the Old & New, Charter member of the Malden AARP, American Diabetes Assoc., the Heritage Center Group of the Heritage Apartments and the Mass Senior Action Council.
She is survived by her sons; John K. “Jack” Moran of Wakefield, William L. ”Bill” Moran of Malden six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Moran, her father Forrest H. Locklin, and her mother Lottie H. (Bucknam) Moran.
She was born March 26, 1912 in Malden, MA. the daughter of the late Forrest H. and Lottie H. (Bucknam) Locklin.

Charles Joseph Moreno
Charles Joseph Moreno, 91, a retired sub shop owner of Charlie Moreno Sub Shop, formerly at 282 Highland Ave. Malden, died Friday, October 20, 2000 at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford, MA. Mr. Moreno was born and educated in Glens Falls, NY later moving to the Malden area. Charlie opened his first Sub Shop in Malden in 1942 and later grow to many shops in the area, after more than 20 years in the business he retired. He was a communicant of St. Josephs Church in Malden for many years. Mr. Moreno lived in Malden, MA for the last 58 years.
He is survived by his wife Eva (Palladino) Moreno, Wally Moreno (Brother), Rose Rueli (Sister) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Soccosso Moreno, and his mother, Philamenia Santoro and many brothers and sisters.
He was born November 8, 1908 in Glens Falls, New York, the son of Soccosso and Philamenia (Santoro) Moreno.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday October 23nd from 6PM- 9PM.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, Malden,on Tuesday, Oct. 24th. at 10 AM. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
Norman James Morrison Jr.
Norman James Morrison, 80, a retired director of advertising for Malden Evening News, where he worked for 45 years, died suddenly Thursday, December 14, 2000 at Lahey Clinic Northshore in Peabody, Massachusetts. Norman was raised and educated in Barre, Vermont. After High School, he attended Brown Univerity, where he graduated in 1941 with Honors in English. He fluently wrote and spoke in several languages. The following year, he enlisted in the US Air Force, and fought in WWII. During his enlistment, he married his wife Betty Jo in 1944, with whom he shared the next 57 years. In July of 1945, the B25 Bomber he was a navigator on was shot down over Germany, and though he and 7 other crew members survived the crash, he was captured and held prisoners by the Germans. He was held prisoner in 3 different camps in the year he was a POW, until the Russian Army arrived and liberated Norman from the POW camp. He served the next 18 years in the Air Force Reserves, with a short active stint in the Korean Conflict. Upon returning to the States, he moved from Vermont to the Boston Area, and went to work for the Malden Evening News. He became the Director of Advertising, he remained there until his retirement in 1997. Although he had retired, he resumed working right away, first at the Salem Evening News, and then for the Woburn Times, where he was still employed. His pasttimes included collecting and reading old books, and drawing and sketching.
While in Malden, He became active n the community, and was a former member of the Malden Masonic Lodge, and a former member of the Malden VFW Post 639. He also remained an active member on the Malden Kiwanis, where he has been a member since 1962. Mr. Morrison lived in Peabody for the past 25 years and had previously lived in Melrose for about 16 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo (Hicks) Morrison, his son Norman J. Morrison III, and his wife Maureen of Brentwood, NH, and his grandchildren Norman J. IV of Waltham, Rachael Morrison of Seattle, WA, Bonnie Wolfe of Kingston, NH, and Seth Wolfe of Brentwood, NH.
He was born March 09, 1920 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of the late Norman and Charlotte (Crow) Morrison. He served in the Air Force during World War II having attained the rank of Captain. enlisted on October 1942 discharged on April 20, 1962
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 19th, at 10:00 AM at The First Church in Malden, Congregation 184 Pleasant Street, with the Rev. Randall P. Ferrara officiating. Cremation will follow at Woodlawn Crematory in Everett.

John Morse
John Morse, 71, of Malden, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Harborside Health Care in Wakefield. John was born in NY, N.Y., the son of John and Eva (Barker) Morse. At an early age, he moved to Malden, and was educated through the Malden school system, graduating with the Class of 1949. After high school, he enlisted in the US Navy, and help fight in the Korean Conflict.
Following his time in the service, he returned to the Malden area, and first took employment at Abe's Market in Melrose, where he worked for 10 years. He left there to become the Manager of the Deli Department at Stop and Shop. After 10 years with Stop and Shop, he went to work for the City of Malden, first at Government Center, and the as a Dispatcher for the City Yards, where he worked until his retirement.
He was a past member of the Malden Moose, and the Everett Moose. He also volunteered for the campaign commitees for both Mayor Jim Conway and Mayor Ed Lucey.
He is survived by his wife Carol of Malden, MA, his daughters Carol A. Howe of Gloucester, and Stephanie J. Raia of Malden, his son, John S. Morse of Malden, and 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father John Morse, and his mother Eva Barker.

Adeline Jenny Mottola
Adeline Jenny Mottola, 88, died suddenly Monday, April 15, 2002 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA. She was born in East Boston and attended the Samuel Adams and the Donald MacKay Schools before graduating from E. Boston High School. She was a retired seamstress working in downtown Boston for many years. Mrs. Mottola had been a resident of Malden for fifty-eight years before moving to Medford were she resided for five years before moving to Randolf to live with her daughter last year. She was member of the Legion of Mary at St. Peter's Church in Malden and was a member of the ladies Sodality at the Immaculate Conception Church. Adeline was an active worker with the Pioneers of America of the N.E. Telephone Co doing charity work. When she moved to Randolph she joined the Arts & Crafts Division of the Randolph Senior Center, helping to raise monies for different town fundraisers. She was an artist that did beautiful art work in oil paintings and sketches. Adeline was married to her late husband, Arthur on July 13, 1938 in E. Boston.
She is survived by her daughter Lori J. DiBona and her husband Joseph of Randolph, her son Phil Mottola of Stoneham and her granddaughters Diane, Michele and Susan Mottola.
Adeline was preceded in death by her husband Arthur E. Mottola, her father Nicola Vernucci and her mother Josephine D'Argenio, her sisters Elvira Casiello, Carmela Juiffre, Louise Milano, her brothers Anthony Vernucci, and James Vernucci.
She was born April 4, 1914 in East Boston the daughter of the late Nicola and Josephine (D'Argenio) Vernucci.

Florence Elizabeth "Betty" Murphy
Florence Elizabeth "Betty" (MacKenzie) Murphy, 82, a housewife and mother, died Sunday, November 11, 2001 at the Epoch Senior Care Center in Melrose, Massachusetts. Betty was born and educated in Somerville and was a resident of Somerville until 1969. At that time she moved to Malden where she has resided for the past thirty-two years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Malden.
She is survived by her husband Alfred J. Murphy of Malden, her daughter, Mary Pickett of Sharon, her son Lawrence Murphy of Malden, her brother William Mac Kenzie of Wareham, and sisters Mary Blake of Saugus, and Anne Sharkey of CA. She is also survived by her granddaughter Jeanne Thibault of Randolph and two great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her brother Elvin Mac Kenzie.
She was born May 06, 1919 in Somerville, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Elvin and Elizabeth (Murphy) Mac Kenzie.

James "Larry" Murphy
James "Larry" Murphy, 47, died Saturday, January 25, 2003 at New England Medical Center in Boston. Larry was raised in Malden, attending the Cheverus and Lincoln Schools. From there he attended the NE Regional Vocational School, and graduated from there with the class of 1973. After high school, he worked in the auto repair industry for about 10 years until taking employment as an insurance adjuster. He worked for the Metropolitan Insurance Co until a few years ago, when he accepted an offer from the Hanover Ins Co, where he had worked to until his passing.
He was a past member of the Knights of Colubus #105, and was also a member of the VFW Post 3273. Larry was also a big history buff, and had a keen interest in the Civil War. Mr. Murphy lived in Stoneham, Massachusetts for 15 years and was previously from Malden.
He is survived by his daughter, Katelyn A. Murphy of Stoneham, his parents, James L and Joan M.(Hanifan) Murphy of Malden, his fiancé, Rosemarie Roderick of Medford, his sister Carol A. Flanagan of Malden, his brother Michael J. Murphy of Malden, and his former wife, Mary (Marifiote) Murphy of Stoneham.
He was preceded in death by his brother Robert D. Murphy.

Nanci Lizbeth Tilden-Murphy
Nanci Lizbeth Tilden-Murphy, 49, a lifelong resident of Malden, died Monday, May 31, 2004 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts. Nanci was born and raised in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1973. Nanci worked for over 15 years as a taxi driver for the Malden Taxi Company. In 1985, she married her sweetheart, Paul Murphy, and the two would share nearly 20 years together until his recent passing. Nanci loved the beach and enjoyed spending time at the ocean in Ogunquit, Maine.
She is survived by her sister, Debra L. Tilden of Atlanta, GA, her aunts, Shirley Constantine of Malden, Eleanor Repucci of Danvers, her uncle, Joseph Constantine of Melrose, and her nephew Michael J. Tringali of Malden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Murphy, her parents, Norman and Phyllis (Constantine) Tilden, and her sister Norma Tringali.

Paul Francis Murphy
Paul Francis Murphy, 79, died Sunday, September 28, 2003 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Paul was born and educated in Malden and when he completed high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942 to fight in W.W. II. He was a gunner's mate 2nd class serving aboard the U.S.S. Navy LST 360 during the invasion of Normandy, Sicily and Italy and throughout the European and African Theaters. When he was discharged he returned to Malden and went to work for the MBTA as a bus driver. He also worked as a salesman for Sears in Saugus and the Campbell Soup Company. He then went to work for the Malden RE- Development Authority as a home inspector where he was employed for over fifteen years until his retirement in 1984. During his retirement he continued to do work for the authority as a consultant. He was a life long member of St. Joseph's Parish where he served as an usher and was a faithful worker at the Bingo games. He was also a member of the Malden Knights of Columbus, Woburn Elks and was Past President and long time member of the Board of Trustees at Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Mr. Murphy was a lifelong resident of Malden, MA.
He is survived by his wife Grace R. (Vuolo) Salvo-Murphy of Malden, his son, Paul F. Murphy, Jr. of Malden, his daughters; Kathleen A. Thibeault of Mashpee, Virginia M. Driscoll of Melrose, Barbara J. Henry of North Andover, his brother, William J. Murphy of Hyannis, seventeen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Virginia( Collins) Murphy his sister Helen Mc Carville, and his sister Claire Galvin.
He was born February 28, 1924 in Malden, MA he son of the late William and Agnes (Kenney) Murphy.

Thomas Harris Musker
Thomas Harris Musker, 82, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at VA Hospital of West Roxbury in Boston, MA. Thomas was born and educated in Malden, MA. . He was drafted into the US Army Air corps in April of 1942 serving with the Co. A of the 1709 Signal Service Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. He was discharged from the US Air Corps in Nov of 1945, and then enlisted in the US Air force in May of 1951 serving during the Korean Conflict and retired in August of 1956 with a full disability.
Thomas was a member of Amvets Post #145 of Wakefield & the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Mr. Musker lived in Lynnfield, Massachusetts for 45 Years and was previously from Malden.
He is survived by his wife Ramona (Felix) Musker of Lynnfield, MA, his son, Oscar J. Musker of Lynn, his daughter, Susan Oliva of Georgetown, his son, Joseph Musker of Washington DC, his brother, Frank Musker of Brookline, his sister, Jean Conroy of TX and his grandson, Joseph P. Oliva of Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Lockhart, his brother William Musker, and his brother David Musker all formerly of Malden.
He was born December 23, 1919 in Malden, Massachusetts the son of the late William and Jean (Melrose) Musker.

Marjorie Mary Myers
Marjorie M. Myers, 71, died Monday, January 31, 2005 due to complications from a fall. Marjorie was born June 9, 1933 in Everett, MA the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Bully) Lang. She was educated and was a graduate of Everett High School class of 1951. In 1955, she married her sweetheart Edward P. Myers in Everett. The couple settled in Malden in 1958 and it was there that they raised their three children. She later worked as an Administrator at the Social Security Office in Malden and then later in the Boston office. In 1978, she received the Presidential Award for her Distinguished Service from the Secretary of Health & Human Services Department in Washington, DC. Marjorie retired from her position in 1994. In her retirement, she worked for the Malden School Department as a substitute teacher and performed volunteer work for the Malden Access T.V. Mrs. Myers had lived in Malden for the last forty-five years and was previously from Everett.
She is survived by her sons, Edward P. Myers Jr. and his wife Linda of Tewksbury, Barry K. Myers and his wife Patty of Dracut, her daughter Lynda L. Myers and her husband Tony Marchetti of Saugus, her brother James F. Lang of Billerica and her sister Rita M. Murphy of Malden, her cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Lauren, Brad, Erin, Sarah Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward P. Myers Sr., her father Harry A. Lang, her mother Mary (Bully) Lang, and her brother’s Kenneth, Joseph, Harry "Hap" Lang.
