Helen Grace Radziewicz
Helen Grace (Kosakowski) Radziewicz, 93, a housewife, died Friday evening, October 10, 2003 at the Annemark Nursing Home in North Revere, MA Mrs. Radziewicz was born and educated in Chelsea, later marrying her husband Edmund and raising her family until his passing in 1950. She later lived in the Dorchester section of Boston for sixteen years and then settled in Malden were she has lived for the last six years. Mrs. Radziewicz enjoyed watching daily mass on the Catholic Channel on television and loved cooking and listening to polish music on the radio and on CD's that her son made for her.
She is survived by her daughters Lorraine Lindsay of Brockton, Marlene Radziewicz of Malden, and her son Edmund Radz and his wife Mary of Lexington, her grandchildren Michael Radz of Providence, RI & Julie Radz of Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund Radziewicz, her father Teofil Kosakowski, and her mother Mary and four other siblings.
Visiting hours have been omitted at the families request.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at 9:00 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden. Fr. Richard T. Bakker will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
Joseph Ragusa
Joseph Ragusa, 47, died suddenly , Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA after being stricken with a heart attack at his home. Joe was born in Germany when his father was stationed there with the U.S. Army. He was educated in Malden schools and after completing school went to work for the Sexton Can Co. of Everett as a laborer. He then started his own plumbing company, The Joseph A. Ragusa Plumbing Co., of Everett, which he has operated for the past twenty-five years. Mr. Ragusa lived in Everett, Massachusetts for the past twenty years and was previously from Malden.
He is survived by his mother Frieda (Shmidt) Ragusa-Riley, his stepfather Arthur Riley, his brothers, Michael J. Ragusa of Malden, William Ragusa of Malden and Stephan V. Ragusa of Malden, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Ragusa, and his brother Robert Ragusa of Malden.
He was born May 18, 1954 in Hamburg, Germany the son of Joseph and Frieda (Shmidt) Ragusa.

Dr. John Raymond Jr.
Dr. John Raymond Jr., 66, a retired chiropractor, died suddenly Thursday, October 11, 2001 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. John was born in Somerville, and then grew up in Malden attending the Malden School system. He left High School in his senior year to enlist in the Army to help fight in the Korean Conflict.
After returning from his tour of duty, he went to the Lincoln Chiropractic College. He practiced as a chiropractor for many years, even as he branched out in different directions. He also was as a jeweler, working for many years at Kimball Jewelers in Boston, and for a short time at E. B. Jewelers, also in Boston. He also was employed as a Building Manager for the Shriners, an organization he was very involved with. Most recently, he had purchased the E.R. Sullivan Co. Inc, a shop that specialized in the repair of electric motors and pumps. After about 10 years as proprietor of E.R. Sullivan, he retired.
John was a former member of the Converse Lodge AF & AM, of Malden also a Past Master of the Zetland Lodge AF & AM, of Wakefield, and past Deputy Grand Master of the Boston 2nd District. He was also a member of the Allepo Temple Shrine of Wilmington. Mr. Raymond has lived in Wakefield, Massachusetts for 32 years and was previously from Malden.
He is survived by his wife, Jean E. (Murphy) Raymond of Wakefield, his sons John C. Raymond III of Wakefield, & David J. Raymond of Saugus, daughter Amy M. Raymond of Wakefield, daughter in law, Robin E. Raymond of Saugus, and granddaughter Jenna E. Raymond of Saugus. He is also survived by several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John Raymond Sr., his mother Euphemia (Gaddes), and his sister Barbara M. Smith.
He served in the Army during Korean Conflict having attained the rank of PFC. enlisted on April 23, 1954 at Malden discharged on April 22, 1957 at FT. Benning.

Euphemia Grundy Raymond AKA "Phoebe"
Phoebe E. Raymond, 88, a fancy silk presser for the Faulkner Cleaners of Melrose, where she worked for many years, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at Masonic Home in Charlton, MA. Phoebe was born in Newcastle, England. She was educated in the Everett School system and was a life long resident of Malden. She was a longtime member of the Maplewood Baptist Church, in Malden and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star # 99 of Malden. She was a resident at the Masonic Home for the last 6 years.
She is survived by her son, John C. Raymond Jr. of Wakefield, her sisters, Elizabeth Bennett and Janet Powers both of Malden and Joan Kilroy of CA. Also survived by 6 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Raymond Sr., her daughter Barbara M. Smith formerly of Malden, her father John Gaddes and her mother Euphemia Grundy, her brother George Gaddes, her sisters Catherine DeAngelis, Lillian Mahoney, and Sally Wyatt.
She was born October 5, 1912 in New Castle, England the daughter of late John and Euphemia (Grundy) Gaddes.

Melvin A Redford
Melvin A Redford, 77, died suddenly, Monday, July 5, 2004 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Melvin was born in Melrose and educated in Malden schools. When he completed school he drove a delivery truck for Ruderman's Furniture Store of Malden. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in Japan and Korea during the Korean Conflict receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He remained in the U.S. Army for eight years serving also during the Vietnam War and when he returned to Malden he worked as the maintenance manager for the Charles Street Bowling Alley until his retirement. He attended the Forestdale Community Church of Malden and was a member of the Malden VFW Post 639. Mr. Redford was a life long resident of Malden, MA except for his wartime service in Japan and Korea.
He is survived by sons: John Redford of ME, Melvin "Butch" Redford of Malden, Arthur W. Redford of Malden, Carl J. Redford of Malden, his brothers: William Redford of Malden, Alexander Redford of Saugus, his granddaughter, Melanie Philbrook of Malden and six other grandchildren.
He was born July 10, 1926 in Melrose, Massachusetts the son of the late Alexander and Sophia (White) Redford.

Arleen Marie Reed
Arleen Marie Reed, 48, died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Family Health Center in Lowell, MA after a long illness. Born on October 7, 1956 in Stoneham, MA, the daughter of Helen F. (Doherty) and the late Arthur F. Reed, Sr. She attended St. Francis of Assisi Parochial School in Medford and then went on to graduate from Cardinal Cushing High School in Boston with the Class of 1975. Arleen took employment with the Elderhostel Inc. in Boston as an Enrollment Counselor where she worked for twelve years.
She is survived by her mother Helen F., her sister Jean and her husband Richard Doty of FL and her brother Arthur F. Reed, Jr. and his wife Karen of Medford. She was the niece of Ann Bishop of Malden and Rosalyn Reed of Chelmsford. She is also survived by four nephews and four nieces and one great-niece and many loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa Parabochi, Nancy Reed, and Donna Reed.

Marilyn Etta Regan
Marilyn E. Regan, 60, after a long illness died on Wednesday morning, June 8, 2005 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston with her family at her bedside. Marilyn was born and educated in Malden. After high school she married Joseph V. Sebeika in 1962 and the couple moved to Everett, later settling and raising their family in Malden. Marilyn later went on to beautician school and received her license and worked for the Salon Americana in Malden for ten years and later working with other firms in the area. Marilyn had been living in Melrose, for the last ten years.
She is survived by her children, Deborah J. Sebeika of Canterbury, NH, Dennis F. Sebeika of Melrose, her brother , Jerry F. Regan of Winchester, her sister, Marion Dooley of Melrose, her grandchildren Kerin Sutherland, Andrew McKenney and Nicholas Belanger also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Dennis F. Regan, her mother Doris L. (Chamberlain) Regan, her husband, Joseph V. Sebeika Sr., her son , Joseph V. Sebeika Jr., her sister, Lenora Richard, and her brother, Joseph D. Regan.

Albert J. Reith Jr.
Albert Justus "Junie" Reith Jr. 87, died on June 15, 2001 after a long illness, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Melrose, MA. He was born in the Roxbury section of Boston on April 27, 1914 the son of the late Albert Justus and Ethel M. (Gibson) Reith. He attended schools in Boston and Revere and graduated from the Boston Trade School in 1932. He was the son of one of the first moving picture operators, he held jobs at the United Shoe Machine and at the Chase and Sanborn before following his fathers footsteps. He was a member of the Local # 182 AFL/CIO and the International Alliance of Moving Picture Machine Operators of the U.S. and Canada and the Masonic Lodge of Stirling, Malden. He worked at the RKO Bijoux Theater in Boston and eventually started a long career at theaters in Malden which included the new Maplewood Theater, the Granada and the Strand. He was married on April 6, 1940 to Ruth A. Calnan, he had to leave his young bride for a tour of duty in the United States Navy and was stationed in Guam and Kwajalein as a member of the Seabees 109th. Battalion. During his marriage to Ruth they traveled extensively in the Caribbean and had many wonderful summers in Brighton, Maine at Kramer's Cabins where they produced, wrote and starred in the summer musicals held at the resort. When television became popular, he received training and certification from the Board of Registration of Radio and Television Technicians. He worked on Closed Circuit Shows of the Jackie Gleason in Miami Beach and with Sara Caldwell's Opera Company at Lowe's State Theater in Boston. With his long time companion, Ann, they continued to travel and often visited her family in Canada. He was known for his musical abilities, his love for Revere Beach, his enjoyment of life and good food and his loyalty to friends. For thirty-two years he was the devoted husband of the late Ruth A. (Calnan) Reith who died in 1972. He was the brother of the late Florence J. Schofield and her late husband Rev. Dr. Russell G. Schofield. He leaves his companion Ann Jones of Texas, formerly of Malden. His two nieces, Elaine J. Schofield of Andover and Lenore F. Kepler and her husband Fred L. of Magnolia. His grand-nephew Ross G. Shank of NY and his World War II buddy Bernard W. Baltz of McMeechan, WA. Funeral services will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Tuesday, June 19th. at 12 noon. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. The Rev, Ruth Oduor will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Joseph F. Reppucci
Joseph F. Reppucci, 85, , died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Joe was born and educated in Chelsea and after completing high school he became a truck driver. When W.W II broke out he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving with the 479th Amphibian Track Co. serving in Normandy, Northern France, Germany and Central Europe. Upon his discharge he returned to Chelsea and his wife and they resided in Chelsea with their family until moving to Malden in 1951 where he has resided for the past fifty- three years. He was a truck driver for Tose Trucking Co of PA in the Boston area and other firms for over forty-two years until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish in Malden, a devoted member of Teamsters Local # 25 of Charlestown and more importantly a devoted family man to his wife and children.
He is survived by his sons; Michael J. Reppucci of Lowell, Joseph F. Reppucci Jr. of Revere, Francis G. Reppucci of Malden, his daughter, Judith A. Cahill of Malden, his sisters, Elena Roselli of Randolph, and Olympia Alberczenski of Winthrop and is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys M. (Panczyk) Reppucci, his sister Rose Testa, his brother Orlando Reppucci, his brother Fiore Reppucci, and his brother Michael Reppucci.
He was born March 19, 1918 in Chelsea, MA the son of the late Giuseppe and Clementina (Celata) Reppucci of Italy.

Mark G. Richard
Mark G. Richard of Haverhill died suddenly while working on his construction job site in Cambridge, early on Monday, Sept. 10th. He was rushed to the Mass General Hospital, in Boston. He was 46 years of age. Born in Everett, he lived in Malden for many years, attending Malden Public Schools. He was a resident of Haverhill since 1989. A construction worker on Boston's 'Big Dig' for the past several years, he had currently been an employee of Modern Continental Construction Co. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local # 151 in Cambridge for over 18 years and was well-liked by many of his fellow co-workers.
A devoted and loving husband and father, he leaves his wife Bernadette A. (Pacelli) Richard and son, Joseph T. Richard both of Haverhill. He is survived by sisters, Jean L. Johnson of Sandwich, Debra M. Carr of Winthrop, Marcella A. Walsh of Gloucester, brothers, Daniel M. Richard of Somerville & Sgt./ US Army Gary F. Richard of FL and the late Lorraine (Richard) Keenan. He was the eldest son of the late Jean M. & Lenora M. (Bradley) Richard. Loving son in-law of Vincent & Ann Pacelli of Cambridge. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, sisters-and - brothers in-laws.

Arthur Francis Richardson
Arthur Francis Richardson, 82, died Monday, June 03, 2002 at the Soliers Home in Chelsea. He was born April 23, 1920 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Charles and Winifred (Morgan) Richardson. Arthur raised in Boston, graduating from English H. S. After high School, he enlisted in the Army. He served in the Army during World War II having attained the rank of Tech 5. enlisted on November 1, 1939 at Boston, MA discharged on January 22, 1947 at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.
Arthur moved to Malden after his discharge. He worked at various positions until his retirement. Arthur moved to the Soldiers Home in Chelsea 9 years ago, and lived there ever since. Mr. Richardson lived in Chelsea, Massachusetts for 9 Years and was previously from.
He is survived by Alfred J. Richardson (brother), Stanley E. Richardson (brother) of Rockland, and Muriel Z. Peters (sister) of Saugus, Oneida Ramos (sister) of Revere.

Richardson, Devonted mother of Dorothy Deering of Palm Bay, FL. Frederick V. and his wife Margaret E. of Middleton, and the late Alice Jones. Katie M. Riley, 27, of Melrose, died on Thursday evening surrounded by her family, after a brief illness at the Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Katie was a lifelong resident of Melrose. She attended the Roosevelt School in Melrose and New England Pediatric Care day school in Billerica.
Katie loved music, being read to and colorful balloons. Her favorite way to spend time was with her family.
Katie is survived by her parents, Norma A. (Gillis) and Lewis H. Riley of Melrose. Her cherished sisters Molly Riley Whisler and her husband Phillip of Medford, Bridget Riley Braverman and her husband Shane of Cambridge, her loving nieces Emma and Madeleine and her nephew Jacob Whisler and her many aunts, uncles & cousins, and her devoted nurses Cathy Byrne and Karen Lynch.

Mary Anna Rinaldi
Mary Anna Rinaldi, 82, a retired licensed practical nurse, died Monday, March 19, 2001 at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. She was born in Everett and educated in Malden schools. When she completed high school she served her training as a licensed practical nurse at the Union Hospital in Lynn. She then worked as an LPN at the Malden Hospital, the Revere Memorial and the Grover Manor Hospital in Revere retiring from the Central Hospital in Somerville in 1985. She was a member of the First Church in Malden, Congregational and a life long resident of the City of Malden
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Allen of Lexington, MA, her son, George Rinaldi, II of Malden, MA her grandchildren Matthew & Jonathan Rinaldi of Malden, Lindsey & Stacy Allen of Lexington and a great- granddaughter Kiley Ann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Rinaldi of Malden.
She was born March 2, 1919 in Everett, Massachusetts, one of seven children of the late Carl and Anna Palangi.

Patricia Ann (Connelly) Ritson, 39, died suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. Patricia was born in Malden on June 1, 1966 and was a graduate of the Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield. She married Paul W. Ritson, her husband of 17 years, on February 28, 1988. The couple lived in Malden for 12 years and then moved to Wilmington where their family has lived for the past five years. In addition to being a dedicated mother and wife, Patricia was currently attending the night nursing program at the Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica, MA. She was only two weeks away from her graduation ceremony. Patricia was also a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Malden.
She is survived by her husband, Paul W. Ritson of Wilmington, her children, Paul W. Jr., Brittany E., Meaghan M., and Rebecca J. all of Wilmington, her sister, Bree White of Wakefield, her grandmother, Ellen E. Allen of Wakefield, and her uncle, James Allen, Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Wakefield.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Allen, Sr. of Wakefield.
Funeral will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St. Malden at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 16, 2005 from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ritson Children Fund 19 Pheasantwood Dr. Wakefield, MA 01880.
Lilah Ames Rivers
Lilah Ames Rivers, 88, a homemaker from Malden, died Saturday, October 13, 2001 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. Lilah was born and raised in N. Waldoboro, Maine, attending the local school systems there. After marrying her husband Thomas, she moved to Malden and shared the next 67 years with him. She was a member of the Maplewood Methodist Church in Malden, and also attended the Christ United Methodist Church. She was a former member of Rebecca's Lodge as well. She also enjoyed crocheting and gardening and was particularly skillful at reviving sick plants. Mrs. Rivers lived in Malden, Massachusetts for the past 60 years and previously lived in Maine.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Rivers of Malden and 9 children, daughters Dawn E. Prestone of Saugus, Joan L. Chuha of Malden, sons, Thomas D., Jr. of Malden, John R. of Malden, J Charles of Wakefield, Bruce L. of Malden, Robert J. of Malden, daughters Vera A. Rivers of Malden and Linda O. Burdick of Wakefield, and brothers John Ames of Ct, and Robert Ames of ME. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father Leon Ames, mother Mildred Crouse, brothers Oakley Ames and Reginald Ames and her sisters Gladys Allen and Edna Hulse.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday, October 15th and Tuesday, October 16th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home. Rev. Randall P. Ferrara of The First Church in Malden, Congregation will be officiating. Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
