Celestine Elizabeth Robson
Celestine Elizabeth Robson, "Celly" ,a longtime resident of Malden, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts. Celly was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1926, the youngest of 9 children. She moved to the Malden area at an early age, where she completed her formal education. She married her sweetheart Clarence when he returned from fighting in WWII, and the two settled in the Malden area to raise their 2 sons. They shared over 50 years together until Clarence's passing in 1998. Celly was an avid reader, and liked the challenge of a good crossword puzzle, and also enjoyed quiet time in her home.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Robson and his wife Karen of Everett, and Daniel E. Robson and his wife Susan of Malden, her brothers Camille Babin of Stoneham, Theodore Babin of Canada, her sister Gertrude Surette of Nova Scotia, and her grandchildren, Bryan and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Robson, formerly of Malden.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 26th, from 4 � 8 PM.
Barbara Ann Rogers
Barbara Ann (Jackson) Rogers, 66, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, MA after a lengthly illness. Barbara was born in Newark, NJ and came to Malden at an early age where she was educated. When she completed high school she went to work for Raytheon of Melrose as a machine operator until her marriage. She then raised her five children to whom she was devoted before reentering the work force. She was employed as a machine operator for Cambridge Brand Co. of Cambridge, a candy making company until her retirement in 2000 after working there for over twenty years. She was a long time member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Malden. Mrs. Rogers lived in Malden, MA for 57 years.
She is survived by sons, Horace B. "Chuck Rogers, Jr. of Malden, Gregory L. Rogers of Malden, Don M. Rogers of Malden, Christopher A. Rogers of Malden, her daughter, Barbara L. Rogers of Malden, her grandchildren Mark, Don, Andre, Jelayna, Richard, Alyssa, Ashley, Jared, Jamila, Nicole, Joshua, her great grandchild Erykah Rogers and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Horace B. Rogers, Sr.
She was born November 22, 1935 in Newark, New Jersey the daughter of the late Albert and Doris (Powell) Jackson-Sneed.
Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 20 Hillside Avenue, Malden on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening , April 18, 2002 at 8:00 P.M. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Gadie officiating. The procession for the internment services at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett will form at the church on Friday morning at 9:30AM and leave for the cemetery at 10: 00 AM.
Cynthia Ann Rogers
Cynthia A. (Musto) Rogers, 64, died Sunday morning, December 25, 2005 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett. Cynthia was born in Melrose, the daughter of the late Benjamin & Theresa M. (Gioiosa) Musto. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School and Melrose High School. After completing school she married and settled in Malden and raised her son John. She worked at the former Lewis Candy Factory in Malden and later became a hairdresser in Malden for a few years. She spent her spare time working on crossword puzzles and loved to listen to music and watch her son John play his guitar. Mrs. Rogers had lived in Malden, for over thirty plus years.
She is survived by her son John Pasche of Malden, her grandson Derek J. Pashe of Medford and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Rogers, her father Benjamin Musto, her mother Theresa M. Gioiosa, her sisters Mary C. Thibert-Squires formerly of Malden, Elaine Polino formerly of Melrose and her brothers Richard, Donald and Louis Musto all formerly of Melrose.
Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Thursday, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Edith F. Rose
Edith Frances (Knox) Rose, 84, died Monday, March 15, 2004 at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA, after a short illness. Edith was born and educated in Malden. She attended Malden schools and was a graduate of Malden High School Class of 1938. The following year she married her husband, Richard D. Rose and they were married over forty years, until Richards passing in 1979. Edith resided in Malden for fifty years and later moved to Stoneham in 1968. She lived there for thirty years, later moving to her daughters home in Lynnfield. In 2000 Edith became a resident at the Herrick House in Beverly where she lived for the last three years.
Edith was a retired receptionist for Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where she worked for twenty-five years. She loved working, getting out and chatting with different people. Her daughter Judy remembers her as a real people person. She loved her garden, playing cards and shopping.
She is survived by her daughter Judith A. Carbone and husband Robert A. of Lynnfield, her grandchildren Christine B. (Carbone) Teel of Wellesley and Robert J. Carbone of N. Reading and great-granddaughter Jacqueline A. Carbone.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Rose, her brothers Edward, Frederick and Robert Knox and her sister Helen Knox.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Thursday from 4-7 PM.

William Rosmarinofski, Sr.
William Rosmarinofski, Sr., died Saturday, October 18, 2003 at his home in Malden, Massachusetts. Bill was born in Worcester and educated in the Malden Public Schools. When he completed school he went to work for Terry's Auto Salvage of Medford as a mechanic. He was employed there for over fifteen years until it's closing and then went to work as a bartender for the American Legion Post # 69 of Malden. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Malden and the American Legion Post #69 of Malden. Mr. Rosmarinofski, Sr. lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 46 Years and was previously from Woecester. .
He is survived by his wife Patricia A. (Grace) Rosmarinofski of Malden, his daughters; Debra K. Santos of Revere, Kelly A. Nalen of NH, Elizabeth M. Rosmarinofski of Malden, his son, Dennis J. Rosmarinofski of Malden, his brothers; Donald Rosmarinofski of Lynnfield, Domenic Rosmarinofski of Methuen, his mother in-law , Elizabeth M. Grace of Malden, six grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son William Rosmarinofski, Jr.
He was born September 27, 1947 in Worcester, Massachusetts the son of the late Domenic and Marie (Le Pore) Rosmarinofski.

Marion Rowe
Marion Rowe, 80, a lifelong resident of Malden, died Sunday, April 3rd at her home. Marion was born and raised in Malden. She settled down and raised her family where she became was very active in community service, church and youth activities.
Marion was a lifetime member of the Centre United Methodist Church, and had, in the past, taught Sunday school classes there. She was also very active in politics, both local and statewide. She was a member of the Democratic City Committee, and was the 1992 recipient of the "Democrat of the Year" award. Several times, Marion was a delegate for the Democratic National Committee. In addition, she served as a Commissioner that rewrote the City of Malden Charter Commission..
Marion was an active life member of the Lady's Auxiliary of the VFW Post # 639, where she was a Past President, and has held various other positions within the organization. She was currently serving as President of the VFW's District 18, of which Post # 639 is a part of. She was a member of the Melrose American Legion Lady's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, William E. Neumyer of Newburyport, Kenneth A. Neumyer of SC, Edward Rowe of MI, Marilyn Kaiser of MD, Barbara Rowe-Card of NH, Lenny Rowe of Chelmsford, and Larry Rowe of Quincy, her brother Jarvis Ring Jr. of Peabody as well as 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Rowe, her parents, Jarvis and Elsie Ring Sr., and her brother Bernard Ring.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, April 5th, from 4-8 PM.

Theresa I. (Cecere) Rubbico
Theresa Irene (Cecere) Rubbico, 81, of Tewksbury, and a longtime resident of Malden, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. Theresa was born in Boston, and then raised and educated in Everett, MA. She studied sewing as a vocation, and became a seamstress for the Bay State Uniform Company as soon as she finished high school. She worked there for almost 10 years, until she left to dedicate herself to the raising of her children. She is a past communicant of St. Mary's of the Assumption in Revere. Theresa maintained a fondness of sewing and needlepoint work throughout her life. She had recently moved to Tewksbury, after living in Malden for nearly 50 Years.
She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Medeiros of FL, and Dianne Aceto of Tewksbury, her son, William Rubbico Jr. of Swampscott, her wonderful brother -in-law, John DiBattista of Revere, as well as five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Rubbico, her parents, Raffaele and Serafina Cecere, and her sister Marie G. DiBattista.
Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday, March 28th, from 5 - 9 PM.

Ruth Elaine Rubin
Ruth E. Rubin, 78, died Sunday, June 12, 2005 at her home in Malden after a long illness. Ruth was born in Reading and moved to Wakefield at an early age. She was educated in the Wakefield School system and was a graduate of Wakefield High, Class of 1945. After high school, Ruth took employment with Transition in Wakefield where she worked for many years. She married her sweetheart, David I. Rubin on January 5, 1948 in Laconia, NH and then settled in Malden where the couple raised their four children. Ruth was a member of the Women's Bowling League at Granada Lanes in Malden and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the D.A.V. at the John F. Kennedy Post in South Boston. She was an avid Bruins fan and faithfully followed the team. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and loved to play bingo at the local halls in Malden. Ruth had lived in Malden, for over forty-eight years and was previously from Wakefield and Reading.
She is survived by her husband, David I. Rubin of Malden, her children, Cecelia A. Russo of Reading, Pamela DeFranzo and her husband Gerard of Malden, Philip E. Rubin and his wife Merle of Saugus and Linda D. Rubin of Revere, her "Mom" Eva Doucette of Reading, Loving sister of Eva Grover of Fairfield, ME. Cherished grandmother of Deborah Lincoln and her husband Peter, Daniel Russo and his fianc�e Renee, Stephanie and Heather Rubin, great-grandmother of Alyssa & Christopher Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her father Edwin Avery, her mother Lillian Chapman, her sister Marguerite Muccio, and her brothers, Albert, Walter, and Richard Avery.

Dorothy Mae Ruddock, 70, died, suddenly, Monday, November 4, 2002 at her home in Malden, MA. Dorothy was born and educated in Malden and after completing high school married and raised her family. When her children were in high school she went to work for Liberty Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Wakefield and when she retired in 1996 she was a claims supervisor. Mrs. Ruddock was a life long resident of Malden, MA.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen M. Ruddock of Malden, her former husband Thomas Keefe and his son Sean, her sons; Martin C. Ruddock of FL, Thomas J. and his wife Janie M. Ruddock of Malden, Steven M. Ruddock of Malden, her sister in-law Cathy Breninghouse of OH, her niece Molly Breninghouse and her nephews Christopher and Danny Breninghouse of OH, and her grandchildren T.J. and Charlee Ruddock of Malden.

Joan A. Ruggiero
Joan A. Ruggiero, 61, a retired investigator, died Sat., Oct. 7th, after a lengthily illness at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA Joan was born in Cambridge, MA and educated in Malden Schools graduating with the class of 1956. When she graduated she became a hairdresser for the Crystal Beauty Saloon of Wakefield before going to work for the federal government as an investigator for the Interstate Commerce Commission until her retirement in 1988. After her retirement she worked as an administrative assistant for the Hughes Co. of Melrose until 1997. Joan had moved to Tewksbury, MA last years after residing in Malden for over fifty years.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary A. Mc Geoghegan of Billerica, Rose L. Ruggiero-Suslowicz and her brother Anthony Addario, Jr. of Saugus.

Mary D. Rusci
Mary D. Rusci, a retired design engineer, died Thurs, May 23rd, in FL. Mary was born and raised in E. Boston. After completing her education, she joined the civil service. She spent many years in Hawaii working as design engineer, assisting in the rebuilding of Pearl Harbor after WWII. Upon returning to the area, she settled in Arlington, and continued as design engineering for various firms, including Stoneham Webster. She remained in Arlington until 10 years ago, when she retired to Boca Raton, FL.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph Rusci, of Arlington, her sister, Vera Salvo of Boca Raton, FL, her nephews, Willliam A. DeSimone of Stove, and Charles Salvo Jr. of Boca Raton, FL, and her nieces, Sandra Tayor of Boca Raton, FL , and Geraldine Lynch, of North Andover.

Theresa Russell
Theresa Russell, 63, died Thursday, October 18, 2001 at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. "Terry" was born in Melrose and educated in the Malden parochial school system graduating from Cheverus Girl's High School. When her family had grown she went to work for the Mutual Bank of Boston as a receptionist for several years. In recent years she has been devoted to her grandchildren and the joy that they have brought to her. Mrs. Russell was a lifelong resident of Malden.
She is survived by her son, Stephen G. Russell and his wife Mary Collins of Medford, her son , Paul E. and his wife Elizabeth Russell of Andover, her son, Mark W. and his wife Margaret of Melrose, her son, Scott M. Russell of Malden, her son, Brian T. Russell of Medford, her sisters; Calastine May of Malden, Sarah Searle Spratt of So. Boston and Claire Brodeur of Tewksbury, and her grandchildren Tyler, William & Meagan Russell.
She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Russell, her sister Mary Cormier, her sister Elizabeth Montecaluo , her sister Jessie Mc Kinnon, her sister Helen Elliott, her brother Timothy Mac Dougall, her sister Margaret Lawson, her brother John Mac Dougall, and her sister Irene Strum.
She was born November 30, 1937 in Melrose, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Smith) Mac Dougall.

Jennie B. Russell
Jennie B. (Oleson) Russell, 93, died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Dexter House Nursing Home in Malden, MA after a brief illness. Jennie was born and educated in Berlin, N.H. and after completing high school she married her husband, the late Eugene E. Russell and moved to Malden where she has resided for over seventy four years. She was employed as a sales clerk for Jordan Marsh Co. of Boston for over twenty-five years until her retirement in 1978. She was an active member of the Centre United Methodist Church of Malden where she had been a member for over seventy years. She was a Past National President of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Auxiliary of which she was a long time member. She was also a member of Malden Old and New and spent many hours as a volunteer at the Malden Hospital after her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter in-law, Louise Russell, of N. Reading, her grandchildren, Linda Russell of CA, Donald Russell of CA, David Russell of Fl, Jill Weiner of AZ, Judy Last of NJ, , Greg Walker of NH, and Janet Gee of NH and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene E. Russell, her daughter Joan E. Walker, her son David H. Russell, and her brother Harold Oleson.
She was born June 19, 1911 in Berlin, New Hampshire the daughter of the late Oscar and Annette (Hanson) Oleson.

Marlene Kathryn Russell
Marlene Kathryn Russell, 61, died Monday, May 26, 2003 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Marlene was born and educated in Malden graduating Malden High School with the �Class of 1959�. Throughout her primary and high school education she took baton and dance classes and after graduating high school opened The Russell School of Baton & Dance. She operated this studio on Lebanon Street in Maplewood for sixteen years before moving it into her home and retired in 1986. She was a member of St./ Joseph's Parish in Malden and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 69 of Malden. Mrs. Russell was a life long resident of Malden, MA.
She is survived by her husband William B. Russell of Malden of Malden, her daughters; Kelly Ann Kerr of Lynnfield, Kimberly Marie Russell of Malden and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, John W. Henderson, her mother Kathryn (Pike) Henderson and her brother Charles W. Henderson.

William Barnes Russell
William Barnes Russell, 64, died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. William was born and educated in Wakefield and after he completed high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam era. When he was discharged he returned to Wakefield and went to work for Wade Industries of Malden as a sheet metal worker. He was employed there for over thirty years until his retirement 1n 1994. After his retirement he continued to work as a machine operator for Wakefield Engineering of Wakefield and Woodworker's Warehouse of Revere. Mr. Russell lived in Malden, MA for the past thirty -seven years and was previously from Wakefield.
He is survived by his daughters; Kelly Ann Kerr of Lynnfield and Kimberly Marie Russell of Malden, his brothers; Charles Russell of N.H. and Herbert Russell of Wakefield, and his grandchildren Nicholas, Eric and Julia.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marlene K. (Henderson) Russell.
He was born September 4, 1939 in Wakefield, Massachusetts the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy (Kirker) Russell.

Paul Daly Rutledge
Paul Daly Rutledge, 73, a retired Vice President for MA-COM Inc in Burlington, where he worked for 33 years, died Saturday, April 06. Paul was born and raised in Everett, graduating from Everett High School with the class of 1946. Immediately after high school, he enlisted into the Navy to help fight in WWII.
After his discharge, he returned to the Boston area, and attended North Eastern University. He graduated from there in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. From school, Paul went to work for the MA-COM Inc. in Burlington as an engineer. He retired in 1988 as Vice President of the Ferrite Division.
Paul was a past member of the VFW Post 639 in Malden. Mr. Rutledge lived in Malden, for nearly 40 years, and had previously resided in Everett.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Halchuk) Rutledge of Malden, his son, Paul J. Rutledge of Winfield, WV, his daughter Doreen Rutledge of Mansfield, his son, Scott Rutledge of Saugus, and son Brian Rutledge of Old Greenwich. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Catherine (Morrison) Rutledge, his brother John S. Rutledge his cousin Mary MacFarlane, and his cousin Donald MacFarlane.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
