(1) Later claims were made that Shumway was innocent of the crime.  

(2) Prince, who was serving another sentenced was given the Death Penalty for killing Deputy Warden Davis in  

the Prison Chapel in 1912.  

(3) Muzik served a life sentence until his death by natural causes in 1960.  

(4) Cole and Grammer were the only two inmates to be executed on the same day.  

(5) Grammer was believed to be the first execution by the electric chair, that was authorized in 1913.  

(6) King who was serving another sentence was given the Death Penalty for killing a Prison Officer.  

(7) Simpson, while serving another sentence, received the Death Penalty for killing another inmate.  

(8) Sheets is perhaps the only inmate to be discharged directly from Death Row.  

(9) Dunster, while serving another sentence, received the Death Penalty for killing another inmate.
