She is survived by her Mother, Darlene Jo Epperson Tollison of Anderson and Step-Father Jeff Davis Tollison, Jr. of Walhalla
Daughters – Claire Moore and Brooke Moore.
Brothers – Robert L. Epperson of Ill., Brian P. Epperson of Seneca, Todd A. Epperson of Seneca.
Half-Brothers Frankie and Eric Epperson of Seneca.
Half-Sister Angie Nix of Seneca.
Her Father, Robert Epperson and sister Jamie Dawn Epperson precede her death.

Kathleen “Kathy” Dodd Adams, 68 of 138 McMahan Road, West Union, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at her residence.
Born in Winston Salem, NC, to the late Hubert & Ola Mae Melvin Dodd, she was a homemaker, Children’s Sunday School Teacher and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Sons – Bobby E. Adams, Jr. and wife Janice of Seneca, Jason Adams and fiancé Mary Kreidler of West Union.
Daughter: Kimberly Adams Spurlock and husband Jerry of Seneca.
Brother: James Dodd of Walhalla
3 Grandchildren, Casey Spurlock, NaKole Spurlock and Kristen Chapman.
In addition to her parents, her husband Bobby Edward Adams, Sr., son Brian David Adams and a brother Marvin Dodd precede her death.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, June 11, 2007 in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster with burial following in Oconee Memorial Park, Seneca.

Born in Loreto, TN to the late Emmett O’Neal and Hallie Anna Marks Liles she was a homemaker.
Surviving are sons Scott Keith Ennen of Orlando, FL and Todd Ryan Ennen of Tampa, FL, brothers William, George, Wally and Don Liles and sisters Walsie Stalter, Wiladean Kelso and Joyce Ann Fischer and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Henry Louis Ennen precedes her in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical, 743 Spring St., Gainesville, GA, 30501.

Ronnie Brewer

Ronnie Lane Brewer, 59, of 709 Friendship Road, Seneca, passed away June 7, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Jesse Woodrow Brewer and Ann Frazier Brewer.
He served our nation as a Sergeant of the US Army First Cavalry in Vietnam, and was the recipient of two Bronze Star medals; one for heroism in ground combat, and another for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces. He was also the recipient of two Purple Heart medals for wounds received in combat in July 1968 and January 1969.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked in manufacturing for most of his life and loved nothing more than fishing.
Surviving are Cheryl Brewer, his wife of 31 years; a son Bry Durham and his wife Michelle of Seneca; a son Jason Brewer and his wife Toni of Seneca; a sister Jean Brewer Owen of Seneca; grandchildren Madison and Hannah Durham, Melissa, Chad, and Anna Katherine Brewer; his mother-in-law Claudia Price of Seneca, and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Grady Thomas Brewer.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 8th from 6 to 8 pm at Sandifer Funeral Home in Westminster. Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at Hepsibah Baptist Church in Seneca. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The reverend John McKnight will be officiating. The body will lie in state at the church at 10:30 am.
The family will accept flowers or a memorial may be made to the charity of choice.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, OMH Hospice of the Foothills, the Hepsibah Baptist Church family, and all of their friends and family for their loving care and support over the last three years.

Westminster – Lorene Austin “Nanny” Green, 79 of 738 Greens Hill Dr. died Monday, June 4, 2007at her home.
Born in Leicester, NC to the late Albert Dewitt and Euna Fie Spivey Austin, she was a homemaker. Nanny Green was very fortunate to have had two great loves in her life. Her husband Ira E. Green who passed away on October 12, 1986 and E. L. (Fudge) Murray who has been her best friend and confidant for the past 19 ½ years, also her best friend and prayer warrior in the Lord, Willie Faye Lewis. Mrs. Green was a member of New Life Tabernacle in West Union. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are sons Cecil Green and wife Deb of Westminster, Tim Green and wife Carol of Toccoa, and great grandson reared in the home, Caleb Lomax of the home, daughter Nancy Hathcock and husband Eugene of Westminster, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband Ira Ernest Green, son Bron Austin, brothers Dennie and Edward Austin and sister Lucille Maynard precede her in death.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2007 in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home in Westminster. Burial will follow in Eastveiw cemetery.

Westminster – Sally Ann Whittle Scogins, 59 of 122 Powell Court beloved Nana and wife of William “Buddy” James Scogins, died Monday, June 04, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County to the late Roy Eugene and Eleise Certain Whittle, she loved sewing and quilting and was a member of the Quilt Chat Family. She had previously worked in the textile industry and was a homemaker. Mrs. Scogins was a 1966 graduate of Westminster High School and a member of Seneca Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her husband Buddy are sons William Michael Scogins and wife Shirley of Hollister, CA and Edward Andrew Scogins and wife Gina of Wichita, KS, brother Mike Whittle of Westminster, and sister Elizabeth Crews of NC, 10 grandchildren Austin, Sarah, Jacob, Christopher and Charisma Scogins, Caeleb Cotten, Xander and Cameron Scogins, and Autumn and Freddy Bustillos.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2007 in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Hwy 11,Westminster.

Seneca - Frances Ruth Perry Jones, 96 formerly of Morningside Dr. died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Seneca Health and Rehab.
Born in Lancaster County to the late John Henry and Effie Rogers Perry. Mrs. Jones had worked in the textile industry and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bountyland Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter Emmy Smith of Westminster and Loretta Lyles and husband Jimmy of Seneca, nine grandchildren, David Harper who was reared in the home, Johnny Harper, Joanna Covar, Debbie Smith, Joey Smith, Laurie Wheeler, Robin Spearman, Chris Lyles and Mark Lyles, 10 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and Crawford Keese, a special friend of the family.
In addition to her parents, husband Rev. William Lester Jones, daughter Frankie Harper and granddaughter Frances Harper precede her in death.

Beverly Diane Crane Smith, 60, of 180 Bear Track Rd., Walhalla, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at her home.
Born in Walhalla to the late Sidney P. & Bettie Oliver Thornton, she worked approximately 20 years with J. P. Stevens, was former owner of The Flower Peddler in Walhalla and later worked for Shaw’s Florist in Seneca. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband, John “Ed” Smith of the home.

SENECA – Frances Harley Sandifer, 89, widow of former Seneca Mayor William E. Sandifer, Jr., died Sept. 12, 2007 at Lila Doyle Nursing Care Facility.
Born in Dorchester, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Govan Bragg and Margaret Bell Harley. She retired as a teacher at Seneca High School after 30 years of teaching. She was selected as Seneca High School’s “Teacher of the Year” in 1974. She received her bachelor’s degree from Lander College and her Masters Degree from Clemson University. Mrs. Sandifer was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church where she remained active until ill health prevented her attendance. She was a member of the Caring Ministry and Circle #2 of the church. She was a licensed Funeral Director and operated Seneca Mortuary with her husband for many years. She was past President of the Seneca Pilot Club and the Seneca Woman’s Club. She was a member of the Once-A-Week Club, Cosmopolitan Club, American Legion Auxiliary, and Seneca Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She also served several years as a member of the Seneca Planning Commission.
Surviving: State Representative Bill Sandifer and wife Sandra of Seneca; Dr. Paul Sandifer and wife Betty of Charleston, SC; Rev. Ray Sandifer and wife Linda of Vinton, Va.; daughter- in-law, Stacie Sandifer of Castro Valley, CA; eleven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Frank Sandifer. The family is appreciative of special caregivers, Chiquita Frank and Angie Chapman, along with the staff of Lila Doyle Nursing Care Facility.
Services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, at St. Mark United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the church following the service. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Lila Doyle Nursing Care Facility, 298 Memorial Dr., Seneca, SC 29678, or the Charity of one’s choice.
The family is at the home of a son, Rep. Bill Sandifer, 112 Cardinal Dr., Seneca, SC.

Seneca – Carl “Steve” Stephen Brown, 46, of 9 Kelley Drive, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County in 1961, he was retired from J.P. Stevens where he was a color shop fabricator. Steve was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Lyman. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are mother of the children Karen Annette Lyle Brown, son Tim Brown of Walhalla, daughter Kayla Brown of Walhalla, brother Richard Nix of Seneca, sisters Joy Smith and Pamela Stroud both of Greer, three grandchildren, TJ Brown, Hunter Brown and Chloe Brown, fiancé Elizabeth Phillips of Seneca, Kegan Phillips, Mary Phillips, Bessie Phillips and Katie Crain.
His parents Carl Edward and Frieda Annette Farmer Brown predecease him.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home in Westminster. Burial will follow at First Baptist Memorial Park.

Born in Oconee County, SC June 18, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Jasper William And Fannie Mae Lowe Wilson. She was retired from Beacon Manufactory and was a member of Clearmont Baptist Church.

Seneca – Lawrence Alexander, 83, formerly of Return Community, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Morningside in Seneca.
Born in Oconee County and raised in Six Mile, Mr. Alexander retired from Carter Oil Company. He was a Marine Corp veteran serving in WWII and was a member of Return Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons Gary Alexander and wife Hellan of Seneca, Joel Alexander and wife Kelly of Covington, GA, daughter Tammy Brock and husband Tracy of Seneca, six grandchildren Lori and Clay Alexander, Elizabeth and Caroline Alexander and Nick and Katie Brock, one sister Jessie Ellenburg of Easley.
His wife Bonnie Gibson Alexander and parents Frank Harrison and Estelle Abercrombie Alexander precede him in death.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Return Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

Westminster, SC – Alpha Norie Butts Butts, 88, widow of Archie Woodrow Butts, Sr. of 215 Wisteria Drive died October 4, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Butts was born in Westminster, a daughter of the late Reverend Tom Patton Butts and the late Bessie Burton Butts. She was a homemaker and retired from J.P. Stevens Company as a weaver. Mrs. Butts was a charter member of Calvary Church of God where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. For over 26 years Mrs. Butts was wrote the Calvary Church of God news column for the Westminster News.
Survivors include a son Archie Woodrow “Joe” Butts of Westminster and two daughters, Jean Bryant of Westminster and Sarah Knight of North Myrtle Beach, SC. Brothers include Jim Butts and Earl Butts both of Westminster and Reverend Harold Butts of Greenville, SC and sisters Ines Hollingsworth of Piedmont, Vera Purdy of Townville, Louise Lewis, Eleanor Watson, and Ruth Brackett all of Seneca, Ann Smith and Shirley Taylor both of Westminster. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Butts was preceded in death by a brother Edward Butts, sister Veda Buchanan, and granddaughter Janice Orr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM, Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Calvary Church of God with the Reverends Brian Belotte, Vic Blackwell and Tim Kerns officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ray Crenshaw

Westminster, SC – Raymond Navarrah Crenshaw, 75, of 1406 Greenfield Road, died Sunday morning, October 7, 2007 in Seneca.
Mr. Crenshaw was born in the Oak Grove Community of Oconee County, a son of the late William Oliver and Sallie Thrasher Crenshaw. He was retired from The United States Army following 20 years service. He began his military career in 1950. His first tour was in Japan. He was a member of General Douglas McArthur’s honor guard. In 1951, he was an aid to General Matthew Ridgway. He accompanied General Ridgway to Korea where peace talks between the United States and South Korea began. He also served in the Viet Nam era. Mr. Crenshaw was also retired from The SC Forestry Commission as a fire control warden. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his son Greg Crenshaw and his wife Denise of Bakersfield, CA and daughters Gail Clark and her husband John of Sequim, WA, and Rhonda Oppelt and her husband Ron of Bakersfield, CA. Also surviving are sisters Mary Smith of Toccoa, GA, and Sarah Allen of Surfside Beach, SC and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, brothers Grady, Oliver, Paul and Garnett Crenshaw and sisters Nell Sanders, Ruth Rogers, Lois Miller, Grace Frady and Helen Cain precede him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 PM, Thursday, October 11, 2007 in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with The Reverend John McKnight and Reverend Canton officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens with fill military honors.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 - 4:00 PM prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster, SC.
