Harold F. Haslach of Lynbrook, Long Island died at the Long Island State Veteran's Home in Stony Brook on November 25, 2002 at the age of 84. Mr. Haslach was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 19, 1918, the son of Frank and Lillie Beckman Haslach. He served with the United States Army during World War Two, and had been an inspector for Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, working on the Lunar Program as well as the F-14 Tomcat. Predeceased in 1979 by his beloved wife, Anne, Mr. Haslach is survived by his loving daughters Eileen Bertuglia of Wading River, NY and Jo Anne Meyer of Virginia. He was the cherished grandfather of 5 and great- grandfather of 2.

In addition to his parents, He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia (nee Smith), and his two cherished daughters Charlene and Shauna. One brother, Kevin and one sister Colleen Ryan-Rivera also survive.
