OLMANNI - Thomas L., 73, of Phoenix, Ariz., on September 3, 1999, formerly of Northport, N.Y. Retired from the Engineering Dept. at Northport VA Hospital and Grumman Aerospace previously. He was a New York City native and U.S. Army WW II veteran. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ann; daughter, Diane Donnelly of Glendale, Ariz.; sons, Steven of Setauket, N.Y., and Keith of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Dina Rossi and Norma LaRusse; five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. He was a past Moose Lodge member while in New York and a member of Cactus Carvers, Arizona Wood Carvers Association and the American Legion. Tom was a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed.

OWENS - Robert, the husband of Elsie Owens, a well-known Suffolk County Community Activist died on May 2, 2000 after a long illness. He was the devoted father of Gwendolyn, Roberta, Gail and Robert. He leaves behind one brother, John Henry and one Aunt Ellen. His lifeline lives on by seven grandchildren, family members and friends. Robert will truly be missed by all.
