Newton of Bristol, one daughter, Barbara H. Griffith of Bensalem, Pa, two grandchildren, Cheryl Boyle, and Howard Griffith, both of Croydon, Pa, two great-grandchildren, Jesse Griffith and Matthew Boyle, and one sister, Kathryn Buck of Westbury, NY. NEWTON - Richard W., 89, of Bristol Boro, PA, on July 4, 2001, at Mill Run Care Ctr. in Bristol Boro. Born in Cedarhurst, NY, he was a resident of Long Island, NY for over 50 years before recently moving to Bristol Boro. He was employed as a service station manager for Mobil Oil Co. Mr. Newton was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He had a great interest in photog raphy and was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed boxing. Husband of the late Doris S. New ton, he is survived by 1 daughter, Barbara H. Griffith of Bensalem, PA; 2 grandchildren, Cheryl Boyle and Howard Griffith both of Croydon, PA and 2 great-grand children, Jessie Griffith and Mat thew Boyle.
