DeBELLO - Pat (a resident of Islip for 41 years), passed away peacefully on October 11, 2000. Beloved husband of the late June. Devoted father of Maria and Louis. Loving brother of Anthony DeBello and Marie Schirripa. He served in the United States Navy during WW II in the Pacific Theatre. He received sev eral commendations and medals. Later he graduated from the New York Institute of Photography and worked as a field photographer for the Review Star and the Long Island Press. When the two newspapers merged, he met and married June in 1953. He retired from the Town of Islip in 1998 af ter 13 years.
