CONSTANTINE - Mary, 88, formerly of Flushing, NY died September 19, 1999 in E. Northport, NY. She was a native of Larnaca, Cyprus and was the widow of Jerry Constantine. She is survived by her daughter, Vivian Dimitriou and her husband George, one son, Gus Constantine and his wife Maria; four grandchildren, Charlton Dimitriou and his wife Flora, Jerry Dimitriou and his wife Betty, Elaine Constantine and Steven Constantine; seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Christalla Louis of Jamaica, NY., and five other brothers and onesister living in Cyprus. The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday in the Greek Orthodox Church, St. Paraskevi in Greenlawn, NY by the Very Rev. John Heropoulos. Burial will be in the Flushing Cemetery. Visitation hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday, 2 - 5 pm and from 7 - 9:30 pm at Commack Abbey, 96 Commack Rd., Commack, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paraskevi G.O. Mr. Cruz was a member of Knights of Co lumbus Good Shepherd Council as well proud WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Mr. Cruz retired as a Professor of Lan guage at SUNY, Farmingdale, and was also a former Medical Technician responsible for set ting up Brookhaven Memorial Hospital and other hospitals in the New York area. Jack was active in High School Sports and a Star Athlete and Captain of the Baseball and Football Teams. WW II Veteran (Coast Guard), Jack was active in Community Service: Commissioner of Little League, Board Member of the Freeport Parks Commission, member of the Holy Name Society and active in OHR activities. CURRY - Sister Maureen R. passed away on November 3, 1999 after a prolonged illness. Daughter of the late Vincent and Rita Curry. She is survived by her beloved sister, Constance E. Bares (Gordon).
