LEVENE - Juliet Kalikow. Services were held for Juliet Kalikow Levene on Monday, November 13, 2000 at Temple Emanuel in Manhattan. She is the mother of Wendy Wallerstein and Peter Kalikow, former owner and publisher of the New York Post, Vice Chair fo the MTA Board and a member of the Port Authority. Mrs. Levene is the wife of Stephen Levene, the widow of the late Harold Kalikow, the grand mother of Nicholas and Kathryn Kalikow and Jill and Jennifer Wallerstein. Her sisters Gertrude Blum, Renee Weil, Barbara Goldstein and a brother, Harold Citrin, survive Mrs. Levene. Mrs. Levene is best known for endowing the Harold and Juliet Kalikow Foundation that gave millions of dollars to various charitable causes. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Juliet Kalikow Levene Memorial Fund of New York Presbyterian Hospital.

LEVORCHICK - Carol, of St. James, passed away following a long illness. Beloved and devoted wife of Joseph. Loving mother of Robert and Bruce Levorchick and Amy Lynch. Loving and beloved grandmother of Reagan Lynch, her only and special granddaughter and four grandsons; Harrison Lynch and Daniel, David, and Matthew Levorchick. Retired elementary school teacher who loved and cared for children. Also retired interior designer, Craft Industries, Inc. She found beauty and good in everything. She dearly loved classical music, the arts, theater and growing her own flowers. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Services were private.

Adoring mother-in-law of Joseph Mazzitelli, and Terence Reilly. Grandmother of eight and Great-grandmother of one. Beloved sister of Mary. LoGALBO - Joseph W. of Easthampton, formerly of Smithtown, Long Island, on Thursday at home. He leaves his beloved wife of 51 years Geraldine (Natoli) LoGalbo. His beloved daughters Carolyn LoGalbo, Janice Henderson and Geri Warton. A brother John LoGalbo. Eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He owned three ladies garment factories in NYC, Wantagh and Copiague, LI. He always did it ''his way' and had a big heart.
