Krista Michelle Sells
Krista Michelle Sells was born on November 30, 2000. She was an incredible gift for her parents James and Andrea, and a greatly anticipated new family member for her big sister, Rita Nicole DeGarmo. Although she was very ill for her short but happy life, her passing still came very unexpectedly. She breathed her last precious breath in the late evening of January 9, 2001.
In a lifetime of only forty days, Krista made an impact on a great number of lives. Unfortunately, many of the people that she touched were never able to see her because of her illness. Today we know that she will suffer no more in the hands of her Creator, and we should thank God for the brief but incredible time that He blessed us with her presence.
Krista is survived by her parents James and Andrea, her big sister Rita Nicole DeGarmo, her Uncle Terry and Aunt Kimberley Sells, Aunt Jaclyn Sells, Uncle Jimmy DeGarmo, and Uncle Joey DeGarmo. She is also survived by her very loving Grandparents: Larrie and Martha Sells and James and Maria DeGarmo; Great Grandparents: Freda Sells, Mary Louise Kotal, Joseph Ernest Kotal, Mae Kotal, and James E. DeGarmo Sr.; Great Great Grandmother Zeanobia "Mema" Turner; and numerous other relatives and close friends.
We should take comfort in knowing that Krista was welcomed through the pearly gates by a number of greatly missed relatives that passed before her. I can't help but believe that heaven is a better place for having a soul like hers in it.
