Treva J. Carmichael
Treva Jane Carmichael, 87, of Friendship Village Retirement Center, died there Saturday, August 7, 2004 of natural causes. She was born June 14, 1917 in Hawkeye, Iowa, the daughter of Homer and Emily (Klinger) Carmichael.
Treva attended Iowa State Teachers College from 1934 to 1936. She also attended the University of Iowa and Upper Iowa University. She received her Masters of Science degree from Drake University. She taught for nearly 50 years, beginning in Ridgeway, Iowa and also at Lowell Elementary and Black Hawk Elementary in Waterloo, from 1946 to 1983. She served in the American Red Cross from 1946 to 1948.
Survivors include Aunts Erma and Alma Klinger; 5 cousins Allan Klinger, Anita Lang, Ann Borcherding, James Klinger, and Nanda Livingston; and nephews Tom and Jack Carmichael.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Kenneth H, and Robert H.

Robert R. Carney
Robert R. Carney, 86, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday October 20, 2002 at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge following a stroke. Robert was born July 21, 1916 in Frederika, Iowa the son of John and Ethel (Hinkley) Carney.
Robert graduated from Frederika High School in 1934 and went on to attend Upper Iowa University for a year. He served in the United States Army in the European Theater during World War II.
Robert married Catherine Walker June 16, 1946 in Beaman, Iowa. She died August 15, 1991. He was a Department Manager for Sears-Roebuck Company for 26 years retiring in 1981.
Robert is survived by 2 sons: John E. and his wife Charmaine of Cedar Falls and James B and his wife Rita of Manchester; 2 grandchildren: Devin Carney and Erin Garms; a brother Max and his wife Rachel Carney of Arkansas formerly of Waterloo; and special friend Veramay Rowse of Fort Dodge. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother Keith, and a sister in infancy.
Elaine L. Christensen
Elaine Lucille Christensen, 86, of Waterloo died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at Manor Care Center, Waterloo, after a long illness. She was born November 30, 1916 in Zumbrota, MN, daughter of Chris and Gladys Freeman Smith.
She married John Christensen on September 1, 1935 in Minneapolis. She moved to Waterloo in 1954, and prior to retirement in 1979, she was employed as the manager of the Alden's Catalog Store and later Pinkerton Building Supply, both in Waterloo. After retiring to Benson, Arizona, she and her husband returned to Waterloo in 1997.
Mrs Christensen was active in Altrusa Club and Friends of the Waterloo Library along with the San Pedro Arts and Historical Society and Benson, AZ Public Library. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, John, two sons, Jack (wife Lila) of Waverly, IL and Pete (wife Barbara) of Waterloo, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Erna R. Christensen
Erna R. Christensen, age 96, of Waterloo, passed away August 6, 2004 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, Iowa.
Mrs. Christensen was born May 31, 1908 in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Guy C. and Bertha (Koolman) Mills. She married W. Lyle Christensen on June 21, 1933 in Webster City. He preceded her in death October 21, 1988.
She graduated from Webster City High School. After graduating from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, she taught school in Webster City, Iowa. In 1943, she and her family moved to Waterloo. She enjoyed being a homemaker, mother to five sons and loved being involved with her grandchildren. She was an active member of First Congregational Church. She was involved in various organizations, including Navy Mothers, Eastern Star, and King’s Daughters. She gave volunteer time to many charities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Bertha Mills; husband, Lyle; sister, Eva Tormey; brother, Harold; grandson, Dana; and granddaughter, Tammy Mauer.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law:, Ron (Jo Ann), Davenport; Jon (Betty), Des Moines; Tom, Coon Rapids, MN; Don (Susie), Sergeant Bluff; and Lon (Kathy), Rockford, IL; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Erna and her family want to thank the entire staff at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care provided during her time at the center.

Maxine Cirksena
Dolores "Maxine" Cirksena, 76, of 1446 E. Ridgeway Ave., Waterloo, died Friday, June 6, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1926, in Sioux Falls, SD., daughter of Robert T. and Mildred (Bachtell) Kendall.
She married Fred Cirksena in March of 1947. He died in 2000. Maxine was an artist during her lifetime. She was a charter member of the Alexander Arts Club and a member of the Iowa Arts Council and Waterloo Center of the Arts.
Dolores was a member of the Trinity American Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her two sons: Fred and his wife Carolyn of Ames. Scott and his wife Kim of Hollywood Hills, CA. A daughter: Lynn Dimberg of Waterloo. Ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His mother: Mildred Kendall of Waterloo. A sister-in-law: Rosemary Kendall of Reno, NV.
Maxine is preceded in death by her father, husband, a son, Paul. Three brothers: Wayne, Ronnie, and Bob Kendall.
Craig O. Clark
Craig O. Clark, 80, of Waterloo, died Sunday, May 30, at the Martin Center of the Western Home Community.
He was born December 9, 1923 in Waverly, Iowa, the fourth child of Frederick and Mildred Cole Clark. He married Lou Anne Shanks while both were attending college. They had three children, Mildred, Craig, and Michael.
Mr. Clark graduated from West High School in 1941 and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Following the War he enrolled in the University of Iowa where he received degrees from the College of Liberal Arts and the Iowa Law College. He practiced law in the Waterloo area for 50 years, retiring in 2003.
Survivors include: daughter Mildred (Rick) Edwards of Cedar Falls; two sons, Craig of Cedar Rapids and Mike (Janet) of Waterloo; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother Romaine (Lynn) of Bloomington, IN; sister in law Roberta of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by: parents, wife, sister Dorothy, two brothers John and Fred.
Elizabeth H. Clark
Elizabeth H. Clark died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Allen Memorial Hospital. She was born October 14, 1914 in Waterloo, Iowa to Orlie and Elvia (Taylor) Harris.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Waterloo West High School. She married Wilfred G. Clark on June 13, 1937 in Waterloo, they were later divorced.
Elizabeth worked for the Waterloo Community Schools for 20 years as a library aid at Hoover Intermediate School and a teacher's aid at Kingsley Elementary School, retiring in 1982.
She was very devoted to her church, Bethel Presbyterian. She loved to read the current popular fiction books and spent many hours reading.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald W. Clark of Plymouth, MN and his wife Shirley, and Steven L. Clark of Uralde, TX and his wife Laurie; four grandchildren: Ann Elizabeth McMahon, Jeffrey Clark, Gregory Clark, and Chad Clark; eight great-grandchildren: Tad Stansberry-Clark, Elizabeth Stansberry-Clark, Lindsey Clark, Nathan McMahon, Jacob McMahon, Angela McMahon, Mallory Clark, and Jillian Clark; and a sister Ruth Foss of Rock Island, IL.
William F. Close Jr.
William F. Close, 84, of 2015 Ashland Ave., formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, September 19, 2003 at his home of natural causes. He was born March 4, 1919 in Waterloo, Iowa the son of William Frederick, Sr. and Gladys Edna (Whalen) Close.
Bill married Eleanor Hartz November 1, 1941 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He received a BA in Commerce from Iowa State Teachers College in 1941. He attended the University of California and graduated from the Coast Guard Academy as a Lieutenant JG. He served in the Coast Guard in the Pacific Theater during WW II. Bill was an insurance Adjuster and Manager for Underwriters Adjusting Co. for 28 years retiring in 1978.
Bill was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish. He was Club Secretary of the Waterloo Rotary Club as well as a Paul Harris Fellow. He served as Vice President for the Waterloo Community School Board. He was a member of Waterloo BPO Elks # 290, the East High School Hall of Fame, Iowa High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame, Black Hawk Officials Association.
Bill is survived by his wife Eleanor of Cedar Falls, a daughter Sue Ellen Savereide and her husband Robert of Cedar Falls, a son William F. Close, III and his wife Jane of New Hartford, a daughter Ann Close of Cedar Falls, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Gerry Condon
Geraldine "Gerry" Condon, 79, of Cedar Falls formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, December 21, 2003 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
She was born March 9, 1924, in Waterloo, daughter of Louis and Madeline (Park) Kregle. She graduated from East High School in 1942.
Gerry married Robert L. Condon on April 18, 1947 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waterloo. He died February 5, 1994. She worked at Hinson Mfg, St. Francis Hospital and Cedar Valley Hospice.
She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church and the Cedar Falls Ladies AMVETS Auxilary, Post 49.
Gerry is survived by three sons: Robert II and his wife Janet of Waterloo; Timothy of Waterloo; Shawn and his wife Arma of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Three daughters: Penelope and husband Ron Willems of Lombard, Il; Mary Ann and husband Arlen Happel of Hudson; Kerry and husband Mike Devine of Cedar Falls. Seven grandchildren and one great grnadchild. Two sisters: Ruth Tiffany of Pittsburgh, PA and Esther and husband Dick Hunt of Cedar Falls.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother: Ellsworth "Bud" Kregle and sister: Dixie Lee Kregle.
Jean L. Cox
Jean L. Cox, 83, of the Bartels Lutheran Home, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, January 26, 2003 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of myasthenia gravis. Jean was born October 16, 1919, daughter of Harry and Charlotte (Chesley) Netcott in Waterloo. She graduated from East High School.
She married Montell Lloyd Cox on November 29, 1939, at the First Presbyterian Church, Waterloo. Jean and Lloyd, a commercial artist, owned Lloyds Display Center and she spent 50 years working alongside her husband.
Jean is survived by her three daughters: Sandy Roberts of Aurora, CO. Sarah Schminke and her husband Kevin of Fort Dodge and Kathy Billick and her husband Britt of Waterloo. Eleven grandchildren: Amy Vogel, Chad Dewey, Heather Scott, Meredith Dochterman, John, Mike, Alexandria and Molly Schminke. Ashley, Jess and Emilea Billick. Eight Great grandchildren: Samantha and Drew Vogel, Carter Dewey, Bailey, Jordan and Connor Scott and Braedyn and Emma Dochterman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Geraldine F. (Gerry) Crapser
Geraldine F. “Gerry” Crapser, 80, of Waterloo, died on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at her residence of a heart attack. She was born on January 5, 1924 in Dolliver, IA, the daughter of Harvey L. and Emma (Keller) Bunday. She graduated from Britt High School in 1942.
Gerry married Russell E. Crapser on July 7, 1944 at the Congregational Church Parsonage in Algona. He died on March 24, 2004. She worked at Blacks Department Store as a clerk in the credit office for 19 years and then worked at Bearing Service in the accounting department, retiring in 1989. Gerry was a member of First Lutheran Church, Waterloo.
She is survived by her son, Duane Crapser and his wife Beverly of Santa Fe, New Mexico; daughter, Carol Crandall and her husband Jim of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Damon Crandall, Jodi Sharaan, Robert Crapser and Jean (Erin) Maxwell; three great-grandchildren, Zabrina and Patrick Maxwell and Sydney Singh; brother-in-law, Bill Jones of Britt, IA; sister-in-law, Donna Bunday of Mason City, IA; and 2 step-brothers, Duane Francis and his wife Rose, and Darrell Francis, both of Britt, IA.
Gerry is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; brother, Ralph Bunday, 2 sisters, Eithel Hansen and Betty Jones; and 2 step-fathers, Frank Francis and Grant Clark.

Matthew J. (Matt) Crawford
Matthew J. (Matt) Crawford, 12, of 1029 Belle St. died Saturday, May 31, 2003 at his home. Matthew was born October 4, 1990 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, the son of Bruce and Brenda (Bagenstos) Crawford.
Matthew just completed 6th grade at Hoover Middle School where he played the bass clarinet in the band. He worked hard to get good grades and was on the honor roll. He liked to play games on his X-Box and Playstation. Matthew was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he was involved in the church confirmation class making lots of friends and acting in skits. He enjoyed going camping and swimming with his family and watching NASCAR. Matthew aspired to be a stunt man from an early age, he enjoyed riding his bike, and especially pestering his brother and sister Josh and Ashley.
Matthew is survived by his parents; brother Josh; sister Ashley; Paternal Grandparents Sharon and Victor Crawford of Waterloo; Maternal Grandparents Doug and Judy Bagenstos of Waterloo; Paternal Great Grandmother Mary Crawford of Arlington; an Aunt Lisa Crawford of Waterloo; 2 uncles: Mark Bagenstos and his wife Jeanne of Parkersburg and Clint Bagenstos and his wife Jenny of Waterloo; and 6 cousins.
Beverly V. Crisman
Beverly Virginia Crisman was born July 28, 1930 to Harry E. and Augusta (Montross) Robinson in Waterloo. She graduated from West High School in 1948. On May 27, 1949 she married Earl N. Crisman at Grace Brethren Church in Waterloo.
She worked as payroll clerk at the Waterloo Community Schools for 19 years, retiring in 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Earl and their four children. A daughter Ann Lawless of Independence and her husband Dan. Three sons Dennis Crisman of Waterloo, Ron Crisman and his wife Shellie, Doug Crisman and his wife Linda all of Waterloo.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Ruth L. Croll
Ruth L. Croll, 90, of Manor Care formerly of 1820 E. Ridgeway died Sunday, February 2, 2003. She was born May 9, 1912 in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of William and Harriet (Miller) Hey. Ruth graduated from West High School in 1929 and attended Iowa State Teacher's College.
Ruth married Vernon G. Croll July 9, 1933 in Waterloo. He died September 10, 1966. She was a sheet music buyer for the Music Corner and Hiltbrunner Music Store for 10 years. She worked in the Crossroads Ford office. In addition to that she was the church organist at Westminster Presbyterian as well as other churches on a substitute basis. Ruth taught piano lessons out of her home for many years and was a member of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra. She also played in dance bands in the area. Ruth was Worthy High Priestess of the Cedar Falls Bethany Shrine Lodge # 9 in 1978, Past Noble Dame of the Waterloo Elklets in 1964, and Past President of the Waterloo Women's Club from 1957 to 1958.
Ruth is survived by a son Charles W. Croll and his wife Sue of Camarillo, CA; 2 daughters: Sondra Dyer and her husband Dave of Waterloo and Francine Johnson and her husband Tom of Rio Verde, AZ; 6 grandchildren: Steve Croll, Tina Croll, Jeff Dyer, Karen Beckmen, Mike Breitbach, and Jim Breitbach; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister Wilma Burton of Waterloo. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 3 brothers: Parks, William, and Richard Hey.
Taylor Lynn Dahl
Taylor’s journey into life with us started 37 weeks ago. Each week we were filled with many emotions waiting for her arrival. We welcomed Taylor with open arms. We had so much love for our daughter.
She touched so many lives in such a short amount of time. She was a beautiful little girl with a strong heart. During her short time with us, she blessed us with so much LOVE!
She was a miracle to us and she was the most beautiful thing in the world…… Words cannot describe how much she meant to us. Our love for her will live on forever.
As parents we were suppose to watch over Taylor, but now we take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven watching over us. She is our guardian angel.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone for the love, concern, and comfort we have received during this difficult time.

Alice Signora Daily
Alice Signora Daily, 83, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 4,2005, at Covenant Medical Center. Alice was born October 1, 1921, in Lawler, Iowa, daughter of Andrew and Sadie Johnson Urness. She married Carl Daily on August 24, 1947, in New Hampton, Iowa. Carl died June 23,1967.
Alice graduated from New Hampton High School in 1939. She attended Upper Iowa University until WW II and served in the United States Marine Corps from June 1943 to August 1946. After serving in the Pacific Theater, she returned to Upper Iowa and received her degree in 1949. She was a teacher in Chickasaw County, Hudson, St. Mary’s (Waterloo), and retired from the Waterloo Community School District. She was a member of Waterloo American Legion Post #138, Evansdale Amvets Post #31, St Ansgar Lutheran Church, and was an active volunteer in several organizations.
Alice was active and independent, partly a product of losing her husband at 45 and having a family to raise. She bowled several times a week until recently, volunteered, loved to travel, attended card club, and remained close to family as a mother and grandmother.
Alice is survived by two daughters, Kedra (Jay) Sommer of Vallejo, California, and Kari (Eric) Gunderson of Waterloo; one son, Kelly (Theresa) Daily of Roseville, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Samantha and her husband Rick Poore, Carl Marcus Barlow, Jessica Gunderson, Adam Daily, Willie Daily, and Sara Daily. She is also survived by three sisters, Hazel Buehler of Waterloo, Norma (Stub)Kerr of Fredericksburg, and Donna Waltz of Elk Run Heights; and one brother Andrew (Jane) Urness of St. Paul, MN.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, parents, and sister Lois Anderson.
Mildred M. Daniels
Mildred M. Daniels, 79, of 1550 Patton Avenue died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Allen Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1925 in rural Decorah, Iowa. Millie’s father, Joe Skaim died when she was 12 and her mother, Thelma later married Leonard Larson, who was her “daddy” the rest of her life. She helped raise 12 brothers and sisters on a farm between Decorah and Waukon in Glenwood Township.
Millie married Robert W. Daniels on January 5, 1947 after a 3 month courtship. They lived in California and raised 3 boys, Larry, Dennis and Tom. They moved back to Iowa in 1958. Since 1960, they have lived at 1550 Patton Avenue, where they raised their family; kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Mildred was a devoted wife and mother; a very loving and caring person who always put the needs of family and friends ahead of her own. She enjoyed treating everyone with her wonderful cooking. “No one can do it like Millie.” People always commented about how good her fish tasted and she would always let us know when she caught her limit of fish before dad. She also enjoyed activities at the church and being with her circle. She like to play cards and made new friends easily. She loved all of her grandkids and when Millie suffered with all of her pain, she said her grandchildren was her best therapy. Every one of them got to help her put frosting on the cookies, stir the batter or roll the dough for a pie. When the church had a bake sale, her pies were one of the first to go. Although Millie never worked much outside of the home, she worked full time taking care of her family and keeping her house spotless.
Millie is survived by her husband, Robert; 3 sons, Larry (Linda) Daniels, Dennis (Barb) Daniels, and Tommy (Mary) Daniels, all of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer, Joshua, Jordan, Kevin, Jason, Jason, Craig, April, Eric and Danielle; 10 great-grandchildren: Laikyn, Darian, Griffin, Zane, Allison, Kain, Shawn, Taylee, Jehred, and Nathan; sisters, Jan Lein, Thelma Sampson, Gladys Howe, Lorraine Wright, Markie Lickteig, Adeline Jensen, Anna Marie Ewing and Darleen Klein; brothers, Harry Larson, Clark Larson, Daryl Larson and David Larson.
John W. DaVelaar
John W. DaVelaar, 94, of 106 East Third St., Waterloo, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center. John was born December 6, 1908 in Sumner, Iowa, the son of Herbert and Clara (Waskow) DaVelaar. John grew up in Waterloo and after high school worked for a time for R.J. Reynold's Tobacco Co. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and returned to Reynold's after the war.
John married Doris Burke and they were later divorced. He married Severna Pillard August 11, 1945 in Galena, IL. They moved to Waterloo and then Evansdale where he owned and operated Jax Lounge and Evansdale Furniture Store, retiring in 1970. After retirement they lived on a farm near Arlington and raised cattle. John was a kind good hearted man who always had a smile for everyone.
John is survived by his wife Severna; daughter Dorothy and her husband Dale Fisher of Cedar Falls; step son Jerry and his wife Carol Pillard of Inman, South Carolina; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Delores Andersen; and brother Martin DaVelaar.
Virginia DeBerg
Virginia DeBerg, 86, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center. Virginia was born August 25, 1916 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Fred A. and Vallie (Evans) Cunningham.
Virginia graduated from East High School in Waterloo in 1934 and married Raymond D. DeBerg November 19, 1937 at St Paul Methodist Church, Waterloo. She worked as an abstractor at Black Hawk County Abstract Company for 20 years, retiring in 1978. She delivered meals on wheels for over 20 years, organized the 1934 Class reunion of 50 years, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and then First United Methodist. Virginia was a loving wife and mother, wonderful mother in law and grandmother, and friendly to all.
She is survived by her husband Raymond; son Terrance of Independence; daughter Paula (Dennis) Olejniczak of Decorah; son Dale (Alberta) of Cedar Falls; son Mark (Ann) of Waterloo; son Ned (Cindy) of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren, Matt DeBerg of Salt Lake City, Lon (Kriste) Olejniczak of Marion, Lesly (Jeff) Bornmann of Chaska, Heidi (Bob) Holst of Chaska, Jason (Tiffany) Olejniczak of Perry, Lindy Olejniczak of New York City, Barb (Dean) Heideman of Cedar Falls, Tina Schroeder of Waterloo, Ryan DeBerg of Minneapolis, Christine DeBerg of Waterloo, Sara (Chris) Weichman of Waterloo; and 13 great grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, step father Wally Miller, and brother Gerald Cunningham.
George R. DeFeis
George Robert DeFeis, 83, of 125 Southbrooke Drive, died Veteran's Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at Allen Memorial Hospital of natural causes. He was born Biagio Giuseppe DeFeis August 30, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York, son of Pasquale and Maria (Ridolfi) DeFeis. On his first day of school, he renamed himself George Robert (his best friend was Robert and he liked the name George). He married Carlene Johncox in 1946 and they later divorced. He married Dorothea Grimstad from Waterloo in 1954 and they spent their lives together until her passing April 10, 2000.
George was reared in Brooklyn, attended Brooklyn College and worked variously as a band leader, radio disc jockey and professional baseball player until enlisting in the military in 1942. He received his U.S. Air Force officer's commission in 1948 and retired as Major and Commander of the 790th Radar Squadron in Kirksville, MO in 1966. During this time, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Military Science.
Highlights of his experience include service in the Aleutian Islands, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Japan, Korea and Okinawa. Among his many decorations and awards, he holds the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation and the Korean Service Medal with six bronze stars.
Afterwards he continued his career as as a Hospital Administrator. Due to gradually becoming deaf, he provided for his family as a security guard, welder and safety mechanic. Upon his retirement in 1985, he and Dorothea returned to Waterloo.
George was famous for his annual Christmas letters, personal money cards, and email correspondence. Seldom has a man who heard so little communicated so much love to so many people.
He is survived by 2 sons: Mark of Wichita, KS and Derrick (Jodi) of Rogers, AR; 6 grandchildren: Alana in AR, Vanessa, David and Heather in CA, and Sierra and Cory in MO; 4 great grandchildren: Austin, Talynn and Taylor in CA, and Zahviyre in MO; a brother, Frederic of Deer Park, NY and a sister, Louise Sciarrillo of Chatham, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothea, his daughter Aleta Orum, and his brother Peter.
