Sarah Farmer, 81, of Andrews passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Home Hospice House in Odessa.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2005 at the Andrews Church of Christ. Mark Wilson of Andrews and John Snider of Greenwood will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Old Cemetery.
Sarah was born February 4, 1924 in Marlow, Oklahoma. She moved to Andrews in 1957 from Albany, Texas and October 18, 1958 she married Cade F. Farmer in Andrews. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1995. She was a member of Andrews Church of Christ and was active and loved her church. She loved to visit the Andrews Senior Center for lunch and play games and visit with her many friends.
She is survived by: One Daughter - Leisa King of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Two Sisters - Pat Forehand of Ada, Oklahoma and Jo Ann Lee of Duncan, Oklahoma. And Two Grandsons - Steve Taylor and Bobby Taylor both of Tulsa.

Gregory Miles Watson, 8 hours old, of Andrews passed away Sunday November 27, 2005 in Odessa.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Andrews North Cemetery Babyland. Rev. Alvin Petty, Pastor of Wesley Methodist Church in Andrews will officiate. Services are directed by McNett Funeral Home.
Gregory was born November 27, 2005 at Pernian Regional Medical Center in Andrews and passed away later that day at Odessa Regional Hospital.

Nolan passed away on Monday, November 28, 2005 at Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs, New Mexico.
He was born August 3, 1927 in O'Brien, Texas to J.C. Newbrough and Beulah Mae Fannin Newbrough. He graduated from Tulare Union High School in California. He served for 22 years in the U.S. Army and during WWII and the Korean Conflict and retired as a sergeant. He worked as a mechanic in Visalia, California and Grand Saline, Texas. He has lived in Andrews for 20 years. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a fine rock collector and jeweler. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother: J.B. Newbrough; and 1 sister: LaTain Abney.
He is survived by his 1 daughter: Nancy Webb of Middlesboro, Kentucky; 1 brother: Doyle Newbrough of North Richland Hills, Texas; 2 sisters: Reta J. Matheny of Tulare, California and Wandalene Chatterton of Visalia, California; 1 grandchild; and nephews: Frank, Nathan, and Ethan Cole of Andrews.

Funeral services for Willie "James" Brown, 64, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 28. 2005 at the Andrews Church of Christ. Willie died Friday, November 25, 2005 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
He was born October 1, 1941 in Lamesa, Texas. He married Elma Jean Smith on June 23, 1963 in Lamesa. Willie was a field operator for UNOCAL and retired in 2000. Willie was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Edward Brown and Floydie Collins Brown, a brother Albert Brown and two sisters, Lillie Brown and Elnora LeGrand.

Bill passed away on Friday, November 18, 2005 at Home Hospice House in Odessa.
He was born October 5, 1927 in Amarillo to Otis Ogden and Dixie Yantis Ogden. He attended Andrews High School til his sophomore year. His parents began to follow Defense Work in 1941, and he graduated from Pleasant Grove, Utah High School in 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during the Occupation of World War II in Seoul, Korea. He returned to Andrews in 1947 and worked at the Phillips Fullerton Plant for a year. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1952 with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Geology, and worked as a geologist for 10 years moving around the country. He moved back to Andrews in 1962 and assumed ownership and operation of the business his father left, Ogden Paint Service, which in 1972 was incorporated into OPSCO, Incorporated. He worked with his son Patrick in his business, Ogden Sprinkler Systems, Inc. of Midland, after retiring from OPSCO. He served 3 years as a director of the Andrews Chamber of Commerce; served 10 years on the Permian General Hospital Board; served on boards and committees for the Boy and Girl Scouts; and served as a Deacon and Elder at the Andrews Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Otis Eugene in 1939.
He is survived by his 1 son: Patrick Eugene Ogden and wife Roxanne of Midland; 2 daughers: Teresa Ann Hart and husband Don of Midland and Sheila Ann Fernandez and husband Rene of Bonham; 7 grandchildren, Ryan Ogden, Lane Ogden Corby Ogden, Lisann Fernandez, Gavin Fernandez, Donnie Hart and Kayla Hart and 1 great grandchild Evan Hart.

Aileen passed away on Friday, November 18, 2005 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
She was born November 6, 1925 in Wellington to Lee C. Vaughan and Maude Ray Smart Vaughan. She graduated from Pampa High School and married Jack Newton Morris on December 24, 1944 in Pampa. They moved to Andrews in 1953 from Pampa. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews and active in the Gleaners Sunday School Class and the Victory Singers. She was a homemaker and mother of four. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, on October 24, 1990; son, Greg in 1993, and her parents.
Aileen is survived by her 2 daughters: Suzan Munn and husband Jimmy of Big Spring and Debe Cornejo and husband Ruben of Andrews; son: David Morris and partner Duane of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

Services for Sammy McNeely, 76 of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2005 in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Ted Short, pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.
Sammy died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews. He was born on October 13, 1929 in Hawley, Texas. He married Margaret L. West on February 20, 1952 in Lovington, NM. Sammy worked for Kerr-McGee as a drilling superintendent and also for Star Pump. He retired in 1995. Margaaret preceded him in death on February 15, 1987.
Survivors include; son Kenneth Price, Lawton, Oklahoma a daughter Ann Swaim, Winkleman, AZ; brother C.B. "Jack" McNeely, Lubbock, Texas, sisters Mary Sipe, San Angelo, Texas and Betty Davis, Lubbock, Texas. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A brother M.W. "Mack" McNeely preceded him Sammy in death in 2005.

J.G. Burnett, 80, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at his daughters home in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Andrews. Bryan Johnson of Home Hospice in Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery.
Mr. Burnett was born July 23, 1925 in Limestone, Oklahoma. He married Eva Lee Welch March 29, 1944 in Carlsbad, NM. They moved to Andrews in 1963 from Carlsbad. He was a Cotton Farmer. He also worked for International Minerals Corporation, J&J Steel, Andrews County, and Tucker Construction. He liked to hunt and fish and go camping. He loved his Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. He loved farming, and his John Deere tractor. He was preceded in death by; His parents-Jethro and Zora Burnett; 3 Brothers- Velon, Vernon and Jack Burnett; and Granddaughter- Keni Lee Thompson.

Will Jimmy "W.J." Jones, 64, of Andrews passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005 while on a job in Ector County.

W.J. was born July 29, 1941 in Ballinger, Texas he graduated Valedictorian of his class at Carver School in Ballinger. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He moved to Andrews in 1960. He married Wanda Simpson January 14, 1965 in Andrews, Texas. He was a Contract Pumper currently working with John R. Parish Company. He Loved his grandchildren and was a great family man. He was preceded in death by; His Parents-Charlie lee and Enitchel Collins, and Sister- Alba Faye Williams.

He was born December 29, 1929 in Rocksprings to Rafael Lozano Jimenez and Santiaga Jimenez. He married Paula Perez on August 11, 1949 in Sanderson. They moved to Plainview in 1971 and then to Andrews in 1992. He was a self employed sheep shearer. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where he was a member of Legion of Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife: Paula Jimenez of Andrews; 1 son: Juan Jose Jimenez of Lubbock; 1 daughter: Amelia Lopez of Lubbock; 3 brothers: Juan Jimenez of Round Rock, Rafael Jimenez of Austin, and Julius Jimenez of Katy; 2 sisters: Amelia Losolla and Teresa Zepeda of Austin; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at her residence in Andrews.
She was born on December 13, 1940 in McKinney, Texas to Columbus Russell Giles, Jr. and Rosalia Williams. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1958 and married Wayne Farmer on September 10, 1957 in Corsicana. They moved to Andrews in 1959 where she worked as a clerk at Piggly Wigley for 12 years and Albertsons in Odessa and Midland for 14 years. Her husband served for many years as Sheriff for Andrews County and as president for the Sheriff's Association of the State of Texas in 1998-1999, where she served as the First Lady. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews and the First Baptist Church in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Justin Farmer.
She is survived by her husband: Wayne Farmer of Andrews; 1 daughter: Kay Andrews and husband Matt of Brady; 1 son: Ron Farmer and wife Tina of Andrews; 2 sisters: Diane Quarles of Corsicana and Joan Tindle of Odessa; and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services for "Sir" John Hogue, 77, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2005 at the First Christian Church in Andrews with Rev. Bob Zap of Andrews, Rev. Don Swindell of Odessa, and Larry Mathis of Brownwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery.
He passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at his residence in Andrews.
He was born June 26, 1928 in Abilene to John T. Hogue and Annie Estelle Jones Hogue. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1947 and Sul Ross University. He served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Andrews in 1959 from Sweetwater. He taught school and retired from the Andrews Schools and then was elected and retired as a County Commissioner for Precinct 2. He was a past member of the Texas Retired Teacher's Association, Andrews Senior Center Foundation, Andrews Downtown Lions Club, Andrews Chamber of Commerce, Andrews County 4-H, and was instrumental in the building and caretaking of grounds for the Joe J. Stewart Memorial Amphitheater, where he also served on the board. He received commission from Governor Preston Smith to be Admiral in the Texas Navy and was a member of the Texas Navy Association. His real passion was teaching his students and seeing them excel in their own lives and serving his community of Andrews. He received Teacher of the Year for the State of Texas in 1965 and received the Andrews Citizen of the Year in 2001. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister: Margaret Clough.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Hogue of Andrews; special friends: Trish and Jerry Tharp of Andrews and Butch and Cindy Stroman of Sweetwater; caregiver: Anna Rondan of Andrews; cousins: Patsy and Paul Fritz of Sweetwater and Marge and Bob Duffin of San Antonio; niece: Dorothy Berg of Colorado; and nephew: George Clough, Jr. of Colorado.

He passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at his residence in Andrews.
He was born July 11, 1923 in Franklin, Texas to George Azmond Teer and Viola LaRue Holman Teer. He graduated from Hobbs, NM High School and from Texas Tech University with a B.S. Degree in Psychology and Spanish. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. While in Odessa, he had worked for McVean & Roberts, Vaughn & Taylor, Conner Construction, and Clyde Construction. He was a member of the Andrews Masonic Lodge, Rocky Mountain Pipeline Association, and was a pilot. He was married to Doris Wynne Gholson for 21 years, and she preceded him in death in 1971. He was married to Alma Irene Little for 39 years. He was a member of St. Mathias Episcopal Church in Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife: Irene Teer of Andrews; 2 sons: George Teer of Flower Mound, Texas and David Teer of Athol, Idaho; 3 daughters: Susan Teer Omohundro of Lubbock, Charlotte Teer-Egerton of Mackay, Idaho, and Sidney
Gaston of Andrews; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Katie "Kay" Gabriel, 88, of Andrews passed away Monday October 31, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

Kay was born August 2, 1917 in Converse, Louisiana to George Robert and Alpha Sebren. She moved to Andrews in 1947 from Louisiana. She married "Dave" Monroe Gabriel on November 18, 1961 in Andrews. She was a homemaker and longtime member of First Baptist Church in Andrews. She was also a member of the Philresters Club. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her parents; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by: Two Daughters- Bonnie Hitch and husband Donnell of Andrews; Shirley Parker and Husband Doyle of Ruidoso, NM; One Step Son- Monty Gabriel of Indiana; One Sister- Jewell Higginbotham of Port Allen, Louisiana; Five Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-Grandchildren and Four Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Gerald Seavey, 60 of Andrews passed away Thursday October 27, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

Gerald was born March 20, 1945 in Rockland, Maine. He married Rita Miller on December 20, 1985 in Wytopitloak, Maine.
He worked in a Paper mill for 21 years and then Moved with his wife to Andrews in 2001 from Maine.
He loved to Paint and was very good at it. he enjoyed gardening.
Gerald was a member of the Permian Regioal Medical center Auxillery and was named the volenteer of the year in 2004.
He is survived by- Wife - Rita Seavey of Andrews,Three Step-Sons - Peter Guiette , Paul Guiette and Michael Guiette all of Maine. Grand daughter- Star Gray of Maine.

He passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at B.S.A. Hospice Inpatient Unit in Amarillo.
He was born November 21, 1909 in Lucerne, Switzerland to Joseph Rutar and Alosia Mikich Rutar. He had worked as a salesman for Speck Distributing in Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Andrews in 1974 from Cleveland and then to Hereford in 2003. He married Margaret Ann Schrump Rutar and she preceded him in death. He married Jo Claire Rutar and she preceded him in death. He was married to Juanita Harrison Rutar. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister: Louise Stelbasky.
He is survived by his 1 son: Roger Rutar and wife Terry of Amarillo and his wife: Juanita Harrison of Odessa.

She passed away on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi.
She was born December 14, 1918 in Meriker County, Minnesota to William Rahn and Bertha Rannow Rahn. She was a homemaker and a past member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hector, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.
She is survived by her 1 daughter: Genevive Heller Youngers of San Antonio; 3 sons: Melvin Heller of Andrews, LeRoy Heller of Fullerton, California, and Harold Heller of Hector, Minnesota; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

Rachel Marie Sanders, 79, of Andrews passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Moody Connor will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Old Cemetery.
Rachel was born June 5, 1926 in Quanah, Texas to W.O and Marie Worley. She married Dr. B.D. "Don" Sanders January 19, 1944 in Seminole, Texas.
They moved to Andrews in 1954, and opened an Optometrist Office where Rachel helped Don begin his practice. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, liked to work crossword puzzles, and loved being with her family. She was a member of Andrews Church of Christ.
Her parents, her husband, Don, in 2001; and four brothers preceded her in death.
Rachel is survived by: Her Daughter-Suzanne Blackburn and husband Les of Andrews; Her Son- Kip Sanders and his wife Loy of Andrews; Granddaughters- Christy Bright and husband Jeff of San Angelo; Jennifer Sanders of Midland; Grandson-Trey Humphrey and wife April of Andrews; Great-Grandsons - Michael and Kyler Bright and Ryan Humphrey; Great-Granddaughter - Shayden Sanders.

He passed away on Friday, October 14, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
He was born November 17, 1940 in Old Glory, Texas to Dan Anderson and Agnes Lorene Reed. He married Margaret Jean Aubrey on June 7, 1959 in Paducah. He farmed in Rule, Texas until they moved to Andrews in 1978. He worked as a roughneck for MGF Drilling and Cactus Drilling in Odessa. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father; 2 brothers; and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret Anderson of Andrews; mother: Agnes Anderson of Rotan; 3 sons: Alan Anderson of Rule, Terry Anderson of Andrews, and Stewart Anderson of Rockport; 1 daughter: Tammy Sumruld of Odessa; 4 brothers: Danny Anderson of Rule, James Anderson of Venus, Garland Anderson of Bryson, and Calvin Anderson of Lexington, Kentucky; 2 sisters: Anita Yarbrough of Cordova, Alaska and Melba McNiel of Snyder; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Juanita Luna Chacon, 80, of Andrews passed away Friday October 14, 2005 at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Rosary will be 5:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday October 17, 2005 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church Father Rodriguez of Midland will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
She was Born March 30, 1925 in Sharp, Texas She married Victoriano Luna in 1941 and they moved to Andrews in 1947 from Morton, Texas.
She was a Homemaker and in Andrews she was know as "The Burrito Lady" because she mad delicious burritos and sold them to the people and businesses in Andrews. She tried to retire several times but, everyone kept asking for her burritos.
She enjoyed working in her garden and helping people, and she loved to play Bingo and visit Casinos and she liked to travel.
She is survived by: 5 Sons-Severo Luna of Lancaster, California; Jose Luna of Houston, Texas; Gilbert Luna of Stanton, Texas; Alfred Luna of Reno, Nevada; Ernest Luna of Dallas, Texas; 4 Daughters- Olivea Galindo of Odessa; Beatrice Saldivar of Andrews; Delores Roberts of Ft. Worth, Texas and Adelina Meraz of Andrews; One Brother- Jesus Guerra of Corpus Christi; and One Sister- Defina Morales of Corpus Christi, Texas; 29 Grandchildren; 36 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
She was born August 11, 1923 in Leary, Texas to Elmo Hurley Page and Cora Elizabeth Brewer Page. She was raised in Texarkana, Arkansas and graduated from Texarkana High School. She married Emory Echols Penny on January 23, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas. They moved to Andrews in 1957 from Texarkana, Arkansas. She worked for E & M Home Equipment in Andrews as a clerk for 16 years. She loved to play the piano, paint, made porcelain dolls, travel, go camping, loved the mountains, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her husband preceded her in death on February 20, 2005. She was a member of Means Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her 2 sons: Donald Penny and wife Pat of Arlington and Glenn Penny and wife Sue of Andrews; 4 grandchildren: Beverley Nichols, Emory D. Penny, Jerry Penny, and Jason Barkley; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was born May 8, 1924 in Thurber, Texas to Charles Franklin Mosley and Lura Cantwell Mosley. She married Paul Keith "Cotton" Harris on August 20, 1948 in Hobbs, New Mexico. She moved to Seminole in 1951 and then to Andrews in 1972. She loved to shop, help with the elections in Andrews, and was involved in the WWII 381st Bombers Unit Reunion. She was a homemaker and a member of the Means Memorial United Methodist Church in Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years on May 8, 1992; her parents; 1 sister; and 1 brother.
She is survived by her 1 son: Randall K. Harris and wife, Sue, of Andrews; 1 sister: Carol Lynn Watkins of Jal, New Mexico; 1 brother: Charles Ray Mosley of Kermit; and 2 grandchildren: Shawn Micheal Harris of Odessa and Anthony Dobs Harris, GSM3, US Navy, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Bill Craig, 60, of Andrews passed away Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2005 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Sam Jones, Andrews County Sheriff, will officiate.
Bill was born on July 30, 1945 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Bill graduated from Andrews High School in 1963.
He married Judy Harrell on August 27, 1966 in Richardson, Texas. Bill worked as a Ranch Manager for many years in North and East Texas, before becoming a Law Enforcement Officer. He served as the Police Chief in Maypearl, Texas before moving back to Andrews in 1988 and becoming a Deputy Sheriff for Andrews County. Bill enjoyed Golf and giving his friends a hard time. He liked to fly fish and take trips to the mountains. He enjoyed spending time in his shop working on things.
He is survived by: Wife-Judy Craig of Andrews; Three Daughters- Sherry Scribner of Irving; Shannon Hicks of Mayperl; and Sonya Pereira of Longview; One Sister- Susan Craig of Plano; Aunt- Jewell Dowell of Odessa and Cousins-Ronie Dowell and Janet Lee of Odessa; and a Niece- Cristen Ransom of Plano; and 4 Grandchildren.

He passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at his daughter's residence in Andrews.
He was born on December 28, 1926 in Snyder, Texas to Earl Lee Bentley and Oddie Deliah Rollins Bentley. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Lillie Jo Bell on May 21, 1954 in Lovington, New Mexico. He worked for G & L Tool Company in Snyder for 10 years, and they moved to Andrews in 1965 from Snyder. He had worked for Apache Fishing Tool Company as a fishing tool operator for 24 years. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Jerry Don Bentley; and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his wife: Lil Bentley of Andrews; 1 son: Travis Bentley and wife Diane of Henrietta, Texas; 2 daughters: Sherry Hathcock and husband Max of Andrews and Donna Speed and husband Gary of Odessa; 1 brother: Aubrey O. Bentley of Clovis, New Mexico; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Andrews.
He was born on January 23, 1947 in Durant, Oklahoma to Paul Meredith O'Hanlon, Sr. and Jimmie Lois Teaff. He married Carol Ann Jones on February 14, 1998 in Midland. He worked as a truck driver for Kinney, Inc. Paul moved to Andrews as a child in 1953 from Durant, Oklahoma. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1966. He played football, was selected All- District, and was a member of the track team. He served as a coach in the Youth Football League in Andrews and was an umpire for boys baseball and girls softball. He loved horses and was a member of the Paint Horse Association. Paul liked to build things and was a good carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Ann O'Hanlon of Andrews; 2 Sons- Paul M. "Trey" O'Hanlon, III, of New Braunfels and Ricky Brewster of Muretta, California; Daughter- Keri Bartlett of Keller, Texas; Brother- John O'Hanlon of Andrews; Sister- Lilta Christopher of Midland; and 10 Grandchildren.
