Bernice Davis
IRON MOUNTAIN — Bernice C. Davis, 79, of 1820 Mary’s Way, Kingsford, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
She was born Jan. 14, 1922, daughter of the late George and Cora (Broberg) Halvorsen. She had been a resident of the area most of her life.
Bernice married Kenneth E. Davis on Sept. 19, 1939. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1997.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.
Bernice enjoyed bowling, bridge, bingo and loved playing cards.
She leaves three sons, Kenneth (Diane) Davis of Iron Mountain, Jeffery (Linda) Davis of St. Ignace and Lee (Nanette) Davis of Iron Mountain; three daughters, Darlene (Albert) Patrick of Kingsford, Patricia Davis of Iron Mountain and Kim Sgrecci of Norway; a sister, Marion Kernan of Milwaukee; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Peter Jonas will officiate.
Burial will be in Homestead-Aurora Cemetery.

Mary Self
IRON MOUNTAIN — Mary Elizabeth Self, 68, of 511 W. Ludington St., Iron Mountain, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.
Mary was born May 20, 1933, in Bell Vernon, Pa., daughter of the late Jay and Elizabeth (Cochrane) McCormick.
She married Harry Self on June 14, 1980, in Pennsylvania. They had been residents of the area since 1990.
Mary enjoyed swimming at the Community Center pool five days a week.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Self of Iron Mountain; two daughters, Marsha McAlpine of North Adams, Mass., and Carolyn (Gene) Hoover of Florida; a brother, Bob (Naomi) McCormick of Hilton Head, S.C., and a niece and a nephew.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Rev. Keith Wall will officiate.
Following the funeral there will be a luncheon at the Crystal Lake Senior Citizens Center.

Judith White
WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — Judith Ann (Paradise) White, 58, of Pembine, Wis., died Friday, May 25, 2001, at her home.
She was born Oct. 27, 1942, in Summerville, N.J., daughter of the late Michael and Doris (Black) Getsy. She moved to Manistique as a child and attended school in Cooks.
She married David White on June 21, 1985, in Pembine, Wis. Dave says, “If God would have made a better woman, He would have kept her for Himself.”
Judy and Dave were owners of Dave & Judy’s Truck Stop and Dave & Judy’s Lake Hilbert Campground. She was also employed by businesses in Manistique and Pembine.
She leaves her husband, Dave; four sons, Keith Paradise of Cooks, Michael (Beth) Paradise of Gladstone, Duane Paradise of White Cloud, Minn., and Orville Paradise of Manistique; a daughter, Gail Paradise (Don Weber) of Manistique; two stepsons, Thomas (Brenda) White of Pembine and Mark (Kaye) White of Little Chute, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; three brothers, Michael (Judy) Getsy of Piscataway, N.J., Joseph Markham of Green Bay, Wis., and Gary Peterson of Wausaukee, and her good friend, Elaine Ayotte of Manistique.
She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Laurie Ann Paradise.
Visitation and funeral services were held Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine. Rev. Jeff Stoopes of Grace Lutheran Church officiate.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Manistique.

Edward Muenzberg
IRON MOUNTAIN — Edward M. Muenzberg, 83, of 2021 Emmett Ave., Kingsford, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at Manor Care Health Services in Kingsford.
He was born Nov. 5, 1917, in Milwaukee, son of the late William Sr. and Josephine (Etzel) Muenzberg. He graduated from Hartland High School in Hartland, Wis.
He married the former Betty Walsted on May 1, 1969, in Waukegan, Ill. Edward was employed by Wehr Steel Corp. in Milwaukee.
Edward and his wife moved to Iron River in 1981, where he owned and operated the Hiawatha Mobile Home Park.
They moved to the Kingsford area in September 1992.
Mr. Muenzberg was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kingsford. He enjoyed talking to others about the bible.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; a stepson, Harold Garsomke of Crystal Falls; a stepdaughter, Carol Murray of Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Brad Murray and Lisa Cramer, both of Milwaukee, John Garsomke of Crystal Falls and Keri Garsomke of Green Bay, Wis.; and a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Cramer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Jr. and Ervin; and a sister, Lorraine.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kingsford. Brother Don Arrowood will officiate.

Jessie Otterbein
CRYSTAL FALLS — Jessie S. Otterbein, 92, of 400 Superior Ave., Crystal Falls, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at Iron County General Hospital in Iron River.
Jessie was born April 12, 1909, in Marlette, lower Michigan, daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Bailey) McClure. She grew up in Marlette and graduated from Marlette Public Schools in 1927.
She married her husband, Arthur W. Otterbein, on Dec. 27, 1928. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1989.
Jessie was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls, the church choir and the Ruth Circle. She was a certified lay speaker and for many years served as the Sunday School superintendent. She enjoyed children and working with them.
She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 285, and a member of the Crystal Falls Musicale.
Jessie loved nurturing her plants, was an avid reader, and enjoyed visiting with her many special friends.
She leaves her son, John Robert “Bob” Otterbein of Crystal Falls, and by several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Christ United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls. Chapter 285 of the Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 6:50 p.m. Monday at the church.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the church. Rev. Elbert Dulworth will officiate.

Myrtle Lundell
IRON MOUNTAIN — Myrtle E. Lundell, 90, of Iron Mountain died Monday, May 28, 2001, at the Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence, Wis., after a week of excellent care.
Myrtle was born March 15, 1911, in Commonwealth, Wis., the only child of the late Henry and Ingrid (Stromquist) Otterson. She grew up in Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School.
She then married Leslie Lundell.
Myrtle was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ladies Aide and also played piano for Sunday School classes for many years. She loved her flowers and her flower garden.
She leaves her son, Larry and daughter-in-law, Rose Marie Lundell of Iron Mountain; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Lundell of Belleville, lower Michigan; seven grandchildren, Lori (Dean) Vernon, Wendy (Bill) Wilson, Debbie (Tim) Blankenship, David (Sheryl) Lundell, Diane (Steve) Coffey, Doni (Tammy) Lundell, and Denise (Robert) Anderson; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a sister-in-law, Mildren Lundell of Milwaukee; two nephews; a niece; her cousin, Lavona (Stromquist) Davis of Iron Mountain, and many dear friends, neighbors, stepchildren and families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; her son, David; a daughter-in-law, Rita (Bartolameolli) Lundell; a great-grandson, Brent Hayes, and a brother-in-law, Glen Lundell of Milwaukee.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Kingsford.
A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.

Putnam Robbins
IRON MOUNTAIN — Putnam W. Robbins, 98, of Spread Eagle, Wis., died Monday, May 28, 2001, at his home in Spread Eagle, Wis.
He was born June 29, 1902, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Albert E. and Jane (Van Auken) Robbins, pioneer residents of Iron Mountain and the Spread Eagle area. He was brought to the Spread Eagle Lakes by his parents at the age of two weeks-old and had spent part of every year by the lake making 2001 his 98th year.
He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1922. He began his forestry career at his father’s logging camp, located between Crystal Falls and Iron River. He attended Alma College, the University of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) with a degree in forestry.
On Oct. 18, 1927, he married his high school sweetheart, Elsie Trestrail of Iron Mountain.
After graduating, he was employed by MSU as superintendent of the Dunbar Forest Experiment Station, located on the St. Mary River south of Sault Ste. Marie.
In 1936, he returned to MSU as an assistant professor and managed the Michigan Clark-McNary Forest Nursery. He completed a master of science degree and was appointed an associate professor in 1943.
Mr. Robbins also studied at the school of forestry at Oregon State University. He had started maple syrup research projects at Dunbar Forest and continued with projects at the “Sugar Bush” on the campus of MSU.
He developed a steam evaporator for converting sap to syrup and proved that tapping all quadrants of a maple tree was profitable.
Mr. Robbins helped give birth to the North American Maple Syrup Council and served as its secretary/treasurer for three years. In 1984, he was inducted into the North American Maple Syrup Hall of Fame in Croghan, N.Y.
He authored many research articles covering subjects as diverse as Michigan farm lots to maple syrup production. He had been a member of the Society of American Foresters since 1929 and was Michigan registered forester number 13.
Upon his retirement from Michigan State University in 1966, he and his wife became full-time residents of Spread Eagle. In 1966, they built their new home on East Lake using white and red pine from trees that Putnam had planted in 1927.
Putnam was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Society of American Foresters, National Association of Maple Syrup Producers and the Michigan State Alumni. He was also a member of the Spread Eagle Lakes Association, which he helped to establish.
Putnam enjoyed hunting, fishing, and feeding the birds and deer at the lake.
He leaves a son, Putnam S. (Chris) Robbins of Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Carolyn (James) Henning of Kalamazoo, lower Michigan; four grandchildren, Bradley F. Robbins of Salem, Ore., Cynthia (Louis) Cerullo of Louisville, Colo., Anne “Mimi” Henning of Las Vegas, Nev. and Carolyn Grace (Bradley) Virkus of Kalamazoo, lower Michigan; and six great-grandchildren, Jerrin Robbins, Sara Cerullo, and Zachary, Emily, Tucker and Taylor Virkus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie in 1988; two brothers, Sumner and Elmer Robbins; four sisters, Estelle Robbins, Ruth Montieth, Anna VanLaanen, and Hazel Heitka; and a grandson, James Henning Jr.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Michael March will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Putnam W. Robbins Scholarship at Iron Mountain High School.

Genevieve Johnson
IRON MOUNTAIN — Genevieve Sigrid Johnson, 87, of 500 East G St., Iron Mountain, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at the Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence, Wis.
She was born July 27, 1913, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Oscar and Ida (Lindeman) Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain.
Miss Johnson worked at the Goulette Cold Storage for many years and served as the Iron Mountain city treasurer for 18 years until her retirement. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
She is survived by numerous cousins, including Dorothy Bodina of Milwaukee and Evelyn Farrell of Williamston, lower Michigan.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Peter Jonas will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park.

Charles Giuliani
WAUCEDAH TOWNSHIP — Charles Giuliani, 87, of Waucedah Township, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
He was born Sept. 30, 1913, in Waucedah Township, son of the late Louis and Angelica (Pancheri) Giuliani.
Charles worked on the family farm his whole life. He was a member of St. Barbara Church in Vulcan.
He leaves his sister, Ann Giuliani of Vulcan; and two cousins, Marie (Charles) Prinzi of Wheaton, Ill. and Frank (Lucille) Hill of St. Joseph, lower Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur and Peter Giuliani.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Barbara Church in Vulcan.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at noon at the church. Fr. William Callari will officiate. Burial will follow in the Norway Township Cemetery.

Colin Williams
IRON MOUNTAIN — Colin L. Williams, 82, of Spread Eagle, Wis., and Florida, formerly of Clarendon Hills, Ill., died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at his home in Spread Eagle.
He was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Chicago, son of the late Thomas and Christine (Haddow) Williams.
Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Following his service, he worked for many years at Illinois Bell Telephone and retired as supervisor in 1972.
He lived in Clarendon Hills for many years and served as the chief of the Clarendon Hills Volunteer Fire Department.
He and his wife, the former Jean Riley, had resided for seven months for the year near Palmetto, Fla., and lived the remaining months in Spread Eagle.
Mr. Williams loved the lake. He also enjoyed woodworking and model railroading.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isobel (Balfour); his brother, Robert Williams, and his sister, Ruth Elder.
He leaves a son, Colin (Laurel) Williams of Austin, Texas; a stepson, William (Cindi) Kennedy of Elmhurst, Ill.; two daughters, Suzanne (Wayne) Jacobs of Glen Shaw, Pa., and Barbara (Lester) Haverstick of Quarryville, Pa.; three stepdaughters, Donna (Ronald) Tannariello of Amherst, N.H., Gail (Kent) Kolar of Milford, N.H., and Susan Ramsay of Elmhurst, Ill.; a brother, Rev. John (Eleanor) Williams of Boerne, Texas; 19 grandchildren and eight-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Elliston Funeral Home in Hinsdale, Ill.

Kay Ripley
CRYSTAL FALLS — Kay Ripley, 66, of 117 Briar Hill St., Crystal Falls, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at the Iron County General Hospital in Iron River.
Kay was born April 10, 1935, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Robert and Elsie (Lyle) Nyland. She graduated from the Crystal Falls High School in 1953 and then attended college in Ashland, Wis.
She married Jim Sliva and the couple lived in Crystal Falls. She was employed as a secretary at the Crystal Falls High School.
She later married Pat Ripley and the couple moved to Sault Ste. Marie, where she worked as a secretary at the Michigan State Police Post. She returned to Crystal Falls and was employed by the Iron County Housing Commission. She also did home health care.
Kay had been a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls, where she had sung in the choir. She had also been a member of the former Northland Chorus, Crystal Falls Musicale and the Marywood Chorus in Sault Ste. Marie.
She loved animals and looked forward to the establishing of the Iron County Humane Society.
She leaves a daughter, Leslie Ann Bradley and her fiance, Todd Richter of Ironwood; two sons, Jim Sliva and his fiancee, Kelly Vassar of Crystal Falls and Michael Ripley of Sault Ste. Marie; a sister, Sally Nylund of Crystal Falls; three grandchildren, Amanda Kaye Bradley, Sean Anthony Bradley and Sarah Marie Bradley, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Christ United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church. Rev. Elbert Dulworth, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.

Valeria Allen
IRON RIVER — Valeria J. Allen, 72, of 118 North 5th Ave., Iron River, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at Iron County Medical Care Facility.
She was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Louis and Evangeline (Lecus) Kanczewski. She grew up and attended school in Milwaukee.
She married John Clifford Allen in Milwaukee and the couple continued to make their home there. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1968.
She had worked as a bartender in Milwaukee, where she was known as “Ma Val.” She moved to Iron River in 1982, where she also worked as a bartender at the former Rustic Inn and Cloverland Hotel.
She leaves two sisters, Helen Holsten of Milwaukee and Dolly Klimczak of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Charles Kanczewski of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
Private graveside services will be held at the Arlington Cemetery in Milwaukee.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Iron County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Coletta Marshall
NIAGARA, Wis. — Coletta T. Marshall, 75, of 805 Vine St. #18, Niagara, died Thursday morning, May 31, 2001, at Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence, Wis.
She was born Nov. 26, 1925 in Chicago, daughter of the late Charles and Angela (Rash) Freudinger.
Coletta married Garland Marshall on July 6, 1946 in Chicago. She owned and operated the Golden Brown Bakery in Iron Mountain from 1962 till 1976 when she retired and closed the bakery.
Mrs. Marshall enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and playing bingo.
Coletta had a great fondness for dogs and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, Gregory (Betty) Marshall of Colorado, Robert (Barb) Marshall of Kingsford, Francis (Sarah) Marshall of Kingsford and Timothy (Sandy) Marshall of Niagara; two daughters, Susie (Fred) Nowack of Faithorn and Tina (Kevin Sr.) VanGinkel of Niagara; four brothers, Ray (Marion) Freudinger of Mesa, Ariz., Ronald Freudinger of Norway, Paul Freudinger of Joliet, Ill. and John Freudinger of Plainfield, Ill.; three sisters, Angi (Bill) Burke of Lansing, Gini (Bob) Bretall of Mesa, Ariz. and Marie Freudinger of Mesa, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, Tracy Marshall of Green Bay, Wis., Coletta Reimer of Norway, Megan Marshall of Kingsford, Molly Marshall of Kingsford, Rachelle Marshall of Fort Worth, Texas, Ryan Marshall of Niagara, Neil Marshall of Niagara, Jessica Nowack of Atlanta, Joshua Nowack of Appleton, Wis., Kevin VanGinkel Jr. of Niagara, Becky VanGinkel of Niagara and Cody VanGinkel of Niagara; and two great-grandchildren, Deseree and Skie Reimer.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garland, in July 1976; a son, Alvin Marshall in April 1990; two brothers, Francis Freudinger and Charles Freudinger; and a sister, Margaret Gibson.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara. A memorial Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate.
Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.

Fred Fesnick
IRON RIVER — Fred Fesnick, 79, formerly of Ironwood died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, where he had been a resident for the past year.
Fred was born Feb. 10, 1922, in Chisholm, Minn., son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Gerrick) Fesnick. He moved to Bessemer with his family in 1930, where he attended school.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and fought in General Patton’s 3rd Army 65th Division. Following his honorable discharge he returned to Gogebic County.
Fred owned and operated a mink ranch and later operated a septic tank cleaning business in Ironwood until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John, and by a brother, John.
He leaves a son, Tom (Karen) Fesnick of Iron River; a sister, Marion Vaughn of Ironwood, and two grandchildren, Chad and Melissa Fesnick of Iron River.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services with military rites will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bessemer.

Florida Young
KINGSFORD — Florida A. Young, 95, of Kingsford died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Hyland Nursing Home in Iron Mountain.
She was born on March 17, 1906, in Argyle, Minn., daughter of the late Appollius and Fabianna (Beaudry) Poitras.
Florida will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
She was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford, St. Rita’s Circle, Royal Neighbors of America Camp 9812 and Ford Retirees.
Florida is survived by her sons, Robert (Dolly) Nicholls of Round Lake, Ill., Walter (Vivian) Nicholls of Placentia, Calif., Alfred (Carol) Nicholls of Gurnee, Ill.; daughters, Marcella Fedor of Hendersonville, N.C., Glada (Merrill) Longpree of Grand Junction, Colo., Joanne Conery of Cedarburg, Wis.; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter H. Nicholls on May 16, 1962, and her second husband, Guy Young on Dec. 4, 1976.

Raymond DePotie Jr.
KINGSFORD — Raymond C. DePotie Jr., 35, of Spread Eagle, Wis., died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
Ray was born Oct. 30, 1965 in Royal Oak, lower Michigan, and had been a resident of this area since 1984.
He had worked as a taxidermist in this area for several years and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by, his father, Raymond Sr. (Cindy) DePotie of Spread Eagle, and his mother, Marilyn (Ray) Wilkins of North Dakota; his maternal grandmother, Sophie Gerstbrei of St. Clair Shores, lower Michigan; his sister, Lynnette (Scott) Williams of California; two nieces, Tarah and Leaha.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kingsford Funeral Home.
Parish Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at American Martyrs Church in Kingsford. Fr. Joseph Gouin will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in Quinnesec Cemetery.

Herbert Endres
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Herbert D. “Herb” Endres, 80, of Green Bay, Wis., died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at a local nursing home.
He was born March 12, 1921, in Pine Bluff, Wis., to the late Florian and Clara (Domini) Endres.
Herb was a World War II veteran who served in the United States Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945.
Following the war, Herb worked at A.C. Spark Plug, a division of the Ford Motor Company for four years, and later ran a mink ranch for eight years for his brother-in-law, Garth Hansen in Aurora, Wis. He then spent 23 years working for Clairmont Transfer until his retirement in 1982.
Herb loved bowling, playing cards, rabbit hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
Herb is survived by his wife, Elaine, of Green Bay; his children and their spouses, Donald and Sarah Endres of Fond Du Lac, Wis., Cheryl and Jeff Bartsch of Tuscon, Ariz.; his step-children and their spouses, Rick and Sandy Schiltz, Mark and Amy Schiltz, Michelle A. Schiltz, all of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Shannon Endres of Hartford, Wis., Madelaine and Eleanore Endres of Fond Du Lac, Wis., Terry J. Peterson of Florence, Wis.; his step-grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Katelyn and Justin Schiltz, Elaina Walker and Shannon Meert, all of Green Bay; his sisters, Florence Stuessy of Milwaukee, Winnie Shea of Madison, Wis.; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lois Endres of Evansville, Wis.; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Betty Rogers, Janice and Dave Van Horn, Darold and Rosie Rogers, Joyce and Jim Marchand, Carl and Linda Rogers, and Ken and Chris Rogers, all of Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joy Lenore Hansen, and two brothers-in-law, Lester Stuessy and Earl Shea.
Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th St., Green Bay, today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating.
Entombment will be in Fort Howard Mausoleum Chapel.
