Pauline Bobb, 78, died Oct. 10 [2000] at Sylvia's Hospice House, Ocala.
Mrs. Bobb was born in Windsor, Colo., and moved to Central Florida from Clare, Mich., in 1987. She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years John; sisters, Katie Jacoby, Windsor, Colo., Emma Miller, Saginaw, Mich.; brothers, Henry Jacoby, Denver, Albert Jacoby, Ontario, Ore.; and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake.

Lawrence A. Elwood
Lawrence A. Elwood, 80, died Oct. 10 [2000] at his residence.
Mr. Elwood was born in Hornell, N.Y., and moved to Ocklawaha 27 years ago. He was a carpenter in commercial construction. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Ocklawaha; American Legion Post 284; life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4493, Candler; Hornell Local 1681; past president of Seneca and Vicinity District Council of Carpenters; and a 50-year member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a prisoner of war.
Survivors are daughters Sandy Graham, Ocklawaha; Dianne Evans, Kent, Wash.; Karen Sukow, Ocala; son Larry Elwood, Tallahassee; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.
Arrangements were by Hiers Belleview Funeral Home.

Frank Lopez
Frank Lopez, 79, died Aug. 21 [2000] at Estelle's Hospice House, Ocala.
Mr. Lopez was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, and moved to Belleview six years ago. He was a retired polisher and buffer for the automotive industry. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Johanna; daughter Kathy Curd, Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters, two brothers and a granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Andrea Burns Fund, c/o Bank of America, Belleview. Arrangements were by Hiers Belleview Funeral Home.

Robert E. Young
Robert E. Young, 71, died Aug. 21 [2000].
Mr. Young was born in Peoria, Kan., and moved to Belleview from Port St. Lucie in 1990. He was a retired supervisor and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife Geraldine; son Robin, Oregon; daughter Patricia Chapman, Ocklawaha; sister Irene, California; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
Arrangements were by Florida Cremation Society, Ocala.

Raymond James King
Raymond James King, 78, died Aug. 21 [2000].
Mr. King was born in Chicago and moved to Lake County from Cadillac, Mich., in 1980. He retired as an electrician for Drop Forge Co. in Milwaukee, Wis. He served with the U.S. Army and Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife Mary; daughter Julie Johnson, Eustis; sister Ruth Halstead, New Philadelphia, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Arrangements were by Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake.

Worthy B. Law Jr.
Worthy B. Law Jr., 79, died Aug. 21 [2000].
Mr. Law was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., and moved to Fruitland Park from Columbus, Ohio, in 1972. He was a retired auto mechanic. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and member of First Christian Church, Leesburg, and Amateur Radio League. Survivors are daughter Linda B. Law, Fruitland Park; son Larry B. Law, Leesburg; three grandchildren and caregiver Ric Radtke.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Aug. 25 at Beyers Funeral Chapel, Lady Lake, the Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Aug. 24. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Columbus.

The Rev. Bedros Baharian
The Rev. Bedros Baharian, 84, died Aug. 4 [2000].
The Rev. Baharian was born in Worcester, Mass., and retired to Florida 17 years ago. He served as pastor of Quincy (Mass.) Point Congregational Church for 30 years. He retired after 17 years as executive director of Quincy Point Congregational Church Homes Inc. He was founder of the New England Elderly Housing Association and chairman of the planning board for the city of Quincy. He served as director of South Shore Bank of Quincy and Mediplex Inc., chairman of the board of directors of Villa Gardens, and a member of Casa de las Campanas board of directors. He is survived by his wife Jane; sons, Paul, Weymouth, Mass., David, Quincy; daughter Carol Bolton, Clairmont, Ga.; sister Vera Brown, Glendale, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service for the Rev. Baharian will be held 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Pilgrims United Church. Interment will be at Pilgrims United Church Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrims United Church of Christ, 509 County Road 468, Fruitland Park, FL 34731.

Irvin L. Ellis
Irvin L. Ellis, 84, died Aug. 21 [2000] at Sylvia's Hospice House.
Mr. Ellis was born in Apopka and moved to Summerfield from Kissimmee in 1971. He retired as a staff sergeant from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of American Legion Post 284 and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife Barbara and son David, both of Summerfield; brother J.B., Fort Lauderdale; and one grandchild.
Arrangements were by Hiers Belleview Funeral Home.

Fred Shull Jr.
Fred Shull Jr., 69, died Aug. 21 [2000] at his residence. Mr. Shull was born in Crawfordsville, Ind., and moved to Summerfield in 1974. He was employed as a mechanic in the automotive industry. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Survivors are wife Janet Shull, Summerfield; daughters Deana King, Ocala, Denise Hole, Jamestown, Ind., Debbie Dillon, Belleview, Meri-Lea Cunningham, Ocala; sons Bill Shull, New Richmond, Ind., Ric Shull and David Shull, both of Crawfordsville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Frank DeWitt Mosher
Frank DeWitt Mosher, 68, died Aug. 20 [2000].
Mr. Mosher was born in Laranger, La., and moved to The Villages from Mentor, Ohio, in 1994. He had retired after 56 years as a construction supervisor in Wickliffe, Ohio, and Houston. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughters, Gayle Norman, Concord, Ohio, Diane Mosher, Kirtland, Ohio, Janet Staudinger, Perth, Australia; sister Elizabeth Eicher, Painesville, Ohio; and six grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Mosher will be held at a later date in Painesville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake & Sumter Inc., 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. William A. Tressan
William A. Tressan, 75, died Aug. 21 [2000].
Mr. Tressan was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He moved to Ocala from the Bahamas in 1979. He was a security guard and member of St. John Methodist Fellowship Church. Survivors are daughters Laura Allen, Ocala, Audrey Munt, Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Sandy Durham, Brantford, Ontario, Canada; brother Eric Tressan, Brantford; sisters Margaret Pratt, Canada, Helen Perry, Brantford, Virginia Stephen, Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Margaret Pratt, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were by Florida Cremation Society.

Bernard J. Paprocki
Bernard J. Paprocki, 76. died Feb. 25 [2001] in Ocala.
Mr. Paprocki was born in Salamanca, N.Y., and was a winter resident of Lady Lake for the past three years. He was foreman for Fancher Furniture Company, Salamanca and formerly employed by the New York Department of Transportation. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Athletic Club and a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, both in Salamanca.
Survivors are his wife Mary Ann; sons Bernard Jr., Liverpool, N.Y., John, Glendale, Ariz., Robert, Buffalo, N.Y.; sisters Alice Skoczylas, Gowanda, N.Y., Joan Paprocki, Cheektowga, N.Y., Barbara Kalamanca, Webster, N.Y.; brother Thomas, Salamanca; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements were by Hiers Memorial Chapel, Lady Lake.

Jean C. Beach
Jean C. Beach, 81, died Feb. 26 [2001] at Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala.
Mrs. Beach was born in Kingston, N.Y., and moved to Summerfield from Stanford, N.Y., 50 years ago. She was a homemaker and a volunteer at Munroe Regional Medical Center and with the Sheriff's Deputy Reserve. She was a member of Eastern Star and Belleview United Methodist Church, where she volunteered in the thrift store.
Survivors are her husband of 60 years Clifford; daughters Barbara Barone, Summerfield, Bonnie Peavy, Wildwood; sister Mary Alice Johnson, Owego, N.Y.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Hiers Belleview Funeral Home.

Christopher Shawn Vinson
Christopher Shawn Vinson, 25, died Feb. 25 [2001] at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Vinson was born in Ocala and was a lifetime Florida resident. He worked in lawn maintenance, and was a member of Belleview Explorers of the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
Survivors are his parents Thomas, Irvin, Ky., and Gail Kugler, Summerfield; grandparents Willie Mae Vinson, Ocala, Benjamin Vinson, Webb, Ala.; great-grandmother Lola Ducksworth, Sarasota; sisters Michelle Kugler, Summerfield, Nadeene and Christina Vinson, both of Dade City; brothers John Kugler Jr., Ocklawaha, James and Michael Kugler, both of Pennsville, N.J., and Timothy Kugler, Anthony, Fla.
Arrangements were by Hiers Belleview Funeral Home.

June Cole Elliott
June Cole Elliott died Feb. 24 [2001] under the loving care of her husband and family.
Survivors are her husband Carl; daughters Linda Stamp and Connie Holland; brothers Arthur and Larry Cole; sisters Jeanine Pilkey and Peggy McMullen; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Naples, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake & Sumter, Inc., 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
Arrangements were by National Cremation Society, Fruitland Park.

Grace L. Azzara
Grace L. Azzara, 94, died July 25 [2001].
Mrs. Azzara was born in New York and moved to Leesburg from Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1991. She was a retired high school business teacher at Fort Hamilton High in Brooklyn. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Jacobson, Greenwich, Conn.; and granddaughter Caroline Jacobson.
A Mass for Christian burial for Mrs. Azzara will be held at the Catholic Community of St. Paul today at 8:30 a.m. with the Rev. Nicholas O'Brien, celebrant.
Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery, Queens, N.Y.
Arrangements were by Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg.

Thomas B. Ryan
Thomas B. Ryan, 88, died July 24.
Mr. Ryan was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to Leesburg from Naples, Fla., in 1990. He was a self-employed mechanic.
He is survived by his wife Ruth; son Lloyd; daughter Patricia, Dunnellon; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake.

Harry Oliver Maul
Harry Oliver Maul, 95, died July 25.
Mr. Maul was born in Salem, N.J., and moved to Leesburg from Salem in 1974. He was a retired mold maker and engraver with Anchor Hocking Corp. He also was a 49-year member of Garfield Republican Club of Salem, N.J., and a Hole-In-One member of the Continental Country Club.
In 1964, he received a commendation from Anchor Hocking for his outstanding design and workmanship, the Tercentenary Mold for the State of New Jersey. He served in the 114th Army Infantry in 1924 as well as three years in the National Guard. He attended Morrison United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son Harry, Carefree, Ariz.; brother William, Salem, N.J.; sisters Bernice, Salem, N.J.; Dorothy Hawley, Bridgeton, N.J.; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mr. Maul will be held in New Jersey. Inurnment will be at East View Cemetery, Salem, N.J.

Dorothea H. Kearsley-Brown
Dorothea H. Kearsley-Brown, 84, died July 25 [2001].
Mrs. Kearsley-Brown was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Summerfield from New York in 1970. She was the previous owner of a ladies' apparel shop.
She also was a member of the American Association of University Women, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and won many blue ribbon art awards. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by her husband Leonard; daughter Barbara Nelson, Lenox, Mass.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by National Cremation Society, Fruitland Park.

Evelyn Mae Bonnett
Evelyn Mae Bonnett, 88, died July 23 [2001].
Mrs. Bonnett was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to Summerfield from Kimbolton, Ohio, in 1990. She was a homemaker, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star #319, Freeport, Ohio, and attended Oak Griner Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Richard; sons Thomas, Lakeville, Minn.; William, Sterling, Ohio; brother Robert Radanof, Ft. Lauderdale; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Roberts Funeral Home, Ocala.

Vera Lanier and Joe Smart
Graveside services for Mrs. Lanier and Mr. Smart of Ware Shoals, S.C., formerly of Leesburg and Fruitland Park, will be held at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park Saturday [Aug. 4, 2001] at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Phillip C. McMillan officiating.

George N. Graham, 77, died July 25 [2001].
Mr. Graham was born in Mineola, N.Y., and moved to Ocklawaha from Mineola in 1960. He was a retired Miami firefighter, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a life member of the V.F.W. Post No. 4493 in Candler, Fla.
He is survived by his wife Anna and sons William, Key Biscayne, Fla.; and Gary, Royal Oak, Mich.
Arrangements were by All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake.

John "Jack" Thomas Thompson
John "Jack" Thomas Thompson, 75, died Oct. 17 [2001].
Mr. Thompson was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to Leesburg from Levittown, Pa., in 1993. He was a retired tour director for U.S. Steel. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police Bucks County Lodge No. 53; St. John Neumans Knights of Columbus 4th Degree No. 4215; sheriff's office bugler; senior volunteer with the Lake County Sheriff's Department, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He also was a U.S. Navy bugler; Tullytown police officer for 25 years; assistant director of the U.S. Steel Men's Chorus and band director for Lakes of Leesburg Kadoodaliers. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lynn; sons Robert, Levittown, Pa., and Terry of Langhorn, Pa.; daughters Sharon Kenney, Collegeville, Pa., Patricia McTaggert and Kathy Naylor, both of Levittown, Pa.; stepson James DaBronzo, Bordentown, N.J.; stepdaughters Janell Wassum, Trenton, N.J., and Francesca Quinn, Bordentown, N.J.; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Grace Elizabeth Lewis
Grace Elizabeth Lewis, 86, died Oct. 17 [2001].
Mrs. Lewis was born in Erie, Pa., and moved to Central Florida from Erie in 1986.
She was a homemaker, an avid golfer and enjoyed craft making. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fruitland Park.
She is survived by daughter Audrey Cannelongo, Eustis; son Richard W. Jr., Citrus Springs, Fla.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial services for Mrs. Lewis will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fruitland Park, with the Rev. Margaret Ingalls officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fruitland Park.
Beyers Funeral Home, Inc., Lady Lake, is in charge of arrangements.
