Barbara Baker, 68
WINDSOR -- Barbara E. Baker, 63, died Wednesday (Dec. 18, 1996) at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor. Mrs. Baker worked at Nap's Lunch in Windsor for nearly 40 years with her father. For the past three years she was employed at Wal-Mart in Claremont. She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 25 Auxiliary in Windsor. Mrs. Baker enjoyed collecting clowns, bingo and her pet dog. She was born in Burlington, Vt., on July 29, 1933, the daughter of Maurice and Isabelle (Rennie) Knapp. Mrs. Baker was a 1951 graduate of Windsor High School. Survivors include two sons, Stanley F. Baker of Claremont and Michael Baker of Milton, Vt.; two daughters, Sheila Baker of Burlington and Lisa Baker of Weathersfield; one sister, Carol Hubbard of Readville, Mass; three halfbrothers; one half-sister; three grandchildren; also nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. Burial will follow in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. Donald Healey, 81
CROYDON -- Donald S. Healey, 81, of Loverin Hill Road, died Saturday (Dec. 7, 1996) at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Mr. Healey was formerly from Westfield, Mass. He was the owner and operator of Healey Funeral Home in Westfield for many years, now the Healey-Pease Funeral Home. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army as a major serving in the European Theater. He was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Healey was a member of the Blue Lodge Masons and Mt. Moriah Lodge of Masons. He was a 32nd Mason and a member of Melha Shrine in Springfield, Mass. He was born in Westfield. Mr. Healey was a graduate of the New York Military Academy. He was married to the former Alta Bargeron. She died in 1971. Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Kemp) Arnold-Healey; one son, David D. Healey of Westfield; three stepsons, David Arnold, John Arnold and Frederick Arnold, all of Southwick, Mass.; and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Stanley Healey. He died earlier this year. Private services were held Tuesday in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield. Burial followed. There were no calling hours. Ellice Pageau, 84
LEBANON, N.H. -- Ellice May Pageau, 84, died Monday (Dec. 16, 1996) at the Alice Peck Day Extended Care Facility in Lebanon. Mrs. Pageau lived in Littleton, N.H., for a short period in the 1930s. She then lived in Plainsville, Conn., in the early 1940s and moved to Lebanon in 1945. While in Littleton she worked in the Saranac Glove Shop. During the early 1940s, she worked for Pratt & Whitney in Hartford, Conn., for the war eFort. She later worked for many years at the Carter & Sons garment shop in Lebanon. Mrs. Pageau was a member of Sacred Heart Parish of Lebanon. Mrs. Pageau enjoyed latchhooking, playing cards, taking walks and her dog "Trixie." She was born in Lebanon on Nov. 11, 1912, the daughter of Elwin Townsend and Dora (Carey) Gray. In 1931, she married Joseph Raymond Pageau at Sacred Heart Church of Lebanon. He died on Jan. 14, 1987. Survivors include one daughter, Rita Bannister of Cornish; one brother, Clarence Gray of Mesa, Ariz.; four sisters, Dorothy Laro of Lebanon, Eleanor Kibbie of Jefferson, N.C., Ruth Bates of Huntington Beach, Fla., and Ruby Koller of Quakertown, Pa.; one grandson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Ralph Townsend, and one sister, Ellen Morin. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Sacred Heart Church of Lebanon. Francis Nadeau Jr., 82
LANCASTER, N.H. -- Francis Xavier Nadeau Jr., 82, of Mechanic Street, died Tuesday (Dec. 17, 1996) at the Country Village Health Care Center after a long illness. Mr. Nadeau had been a Lancaster resident for most of his life. He and his brother, Hob, owned and operated Nadeau Bros. Garage and Oldsmobile Dealership after World War II until 1972, when they sold the business and retired. During World War II, he served as a sergeant in Europe and Africa as an anti-aircraft gunner with the 68th Division until discharged. Mr. Nadeau was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed many trips to Canada and Newfoundland, moose hunting. He was one of the first in his area to own a snowmobile, loved to garden, and made pickles and venison jerky. He was born in Lancaster on Oct. 13, 1914, the son of Frank and Olivine (Bilodeau) Nadeau. Mr. Nadeau was a 1932 graduate of Lancaster Academy. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Helen A. (Smith) Nadeau of Country Village Health Care Center in Lancaster; two daughters, Zelda Gonyer of Lancaster and Irene Nadeau of Guildhall, Vt.; two sisters, Alice Cote of Burlington, Vt., and Doris Derosier of Lancaster; three brothers, Hubert Nadeau and John Nadeau, both of Lancaster, and Donald Nadeau of Chester; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. Geneva Lapham, 82
NASHUA, N.H. -- Geneva H. Lapham, 82, of Hunt Street, formerly of Seaverns Bridge Road, Merrimack, died Tuesday (Dec. 17, 1996) at the Courville at Nashua. Mrs. Lapham was a "Pearl McGowan teacher" of rug hooking and taught in the Nashua area for many years. She at one time owned and operated her own business, Karlkraft Patterns and Rug Hooking in Merrimack. Mrs. Lapham was a former member of the Pilgrim Church in Nashua. She was a former member of the New Hampshire League of Arts and Crafts. Mrs. Lapham was also a former member of the Nashua Historical Society. She was born in Nashua on June 30, 1914, the daughter of John Henry and M. Hazel (Sanders) Perkins. Mrs. Lapham was educated in Nashua and Hudson schools and graduated from Nashua High School. She was also a graduate of the Chamberlain School in Boston. Survivors include her husband, Charles Lapham of Nashua; two daughters, Eleanor (Foley) Lesieur of Nashua and Barbara (Foley) Hollander of Sunapee; one son, Robert Foley of Newport, R.I.; 1 1 grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and two nieces. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Foley in 1947. A Service of Rememberance will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Memories, Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., in Nashua with the Rev. James S. Chaloner, pastor of the First Church (Congregational) U.C.C., officiating. Interment

Irene Keehan, 87
CLAREMONT -- Irene E. Keehan, 83, formerly of 243 Broad St., and the Unity Road, died Friday (Dec. 13, 1996) at the Sullivan County Nursing Home in Unity after a long illness. Mrs. Keehan lived in New York for 20 years and in Manchester, N.H., for 10 years prior to returning to Claremont. While in Manchester she worked for the Pandora Sweater Mill. Mrs. Keehan was a communicant of St. Mary Church. She was born in Claremont on Aug. 19, 1909, the daughter of Hormidas and Eugenic (Belanger) Bergeron. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Keltos of Commack, L.I., N.Y.; two sons, James Keehan of New York, N.Y., and Richard Keehan of California; six grandchildren; two brothers, Wilfred Bergeron and Albert Bergeron, both of Claremont; three sisters, Evelina Chandler of Claremont, Beatrice Tetreault and Rachel Johnson, both of California; and nieces and nephews She was predeceased by one sister, Dora Lemire. Irene St Cyr, 87
CLAREMONT -- Irene L. St Cyr, 87, formerly of 243 Broad St., died Monday (Dec. 16, 1996) at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Newport after a long illness. She had been a Newport resident for most of her life and resided in Claremont for more than 20 years. Mrs. St Cyr had been employed as a sales clerk. She was born in Newport on Aug. 27, 1909, the daughter of Samuel and Lena (Markulla) Santti. Survivors include one son, Paul R. St Cyr of Newport; one daughter, Joan Seals of Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul St Cyr, in 1974; one son, Frederick St Cyr in 1995; one sister, Impi Nelson; and one grandson in 1996. A graveside committal service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in St. Patrick Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. John W. Hamilton, 50
NEWPORT -- John W. Hamilton, 50, died Sunday (Dec. 15, 1996) at the Milford, Conn., hospital. He was a machinist for 18 years at Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. He also worked for Grassroots Cable Co. and was a licensed plumber. He was a technical sergeant for four years with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Moose Club in Newport. Mr. Hamilton also was a longtime motorcycle rider who enjoyed charity rides for the benefit of children. He was born in Newport, the son of Henry and Marion (Colburn) Hamilton. Survivors include his mother, Marion (Colburn) Hamilton; a daughter, Elizabeth Hamilton of Newport; four brothers, Carrol Hamilton of Claremont, Paul Hamilton of West Springfield, Leslie Hamilton of Milford, Conn., and Lloyd Hamilton of Goshen; two sisters, Virginia Berquist of Claremont and Shirley Sanborn of Bristol, N.H.; his special friend Cathy Volpe of Milford, Conn.; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren. WINDSOR -- Juliana J. Fee, 40, died Sunday (Dec. 15, 1996) at her home in Windsor after a long illness. Mrs. Fee was employed by the Windsor Machine Co. in Windsor and before that by the Windsor Wood Works for a short time. She greatly enjoyed being a housewife, crocheting and animals. Mrs. Fee was born Sept. 21, 1956, in StaKord Springs, Conn., the daughter of Lloyd and Geneva (Farnham) Miller. She received her schooling in StaEord Springs and attended Stafford Springs High School. She married Edward R. Fee on July 12, 1986, in Windsor. Survivors include her husband of Windsor; her parents of Windsor; a son, Edward R. Fee Jr. of Windsor; a daughter, Geneva Fee of Windsor; a brother, Lloyd Miller of Windsor; five sisters, Charlene Briggs, Joyce Page and Gloria Glover, all of Windsor, Marlene Auclair of Ascutney and Terena Miller of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Leon Miller, in 1985. Funeral services were to be held at 11 a.m. today at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor with the Rev. Robert J. Kenneth Colburn, 56
DEERING, N.H. -- Kenneth "Ken" Colburn, 56, of Longwoods Park, died Saturday (Dec. 14, 1996) at his home. He had lived in Deering for 20 years, having moved from Greenville, N.H., where he had lived for 15 years. Mr. Colburn was a machinist at New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co. the past year and had worked at the Norton Co. in Hillsborough, N.H., for six years, Aubuchon Hardward in Hillsborough for five years, and at Simonds Saw and Steel in Fitchburg, Mass., for 28 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion in Hillsborough and a former member of the Moose. In Greenville, he was a Little League coach, was active in the Boys Club and was a former fire chief with the Greenville Fire Department Mutual Aid. Mr. Colburn was born in Hillsborough on Jan. 6, 1940, the son of Howard and Ida (Gould) Colburn. He married Lorraine M. Ouellette in 1979. Survivors include his wife of Deering; two daughters, Roxanne Colburn of Milford, N.H., and JoAnn Barthalemeu of Harpersville, N.Y.; two sons, Todd Colburn of Milford and Shawn Colburn of Greenville; a stepson, Michael Deschenes of Deering; three brothers, Edward Colburn of Lineville, Ala., Stanley Colburn of Belmont, N.H., and Philip Colburn of Greenville; three sisters, Margaret Murray of Derry, N.H., Dorothy Bent of Charlestown and Beverly Sweeney of Deering; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews. WINDSOR -- Mary A. Buckman, 72, died Tuesday (Dec. 17, 1996) at DartmouthHitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Mrs. Buckman was employed at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, N.H., for many years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 25 in Windsor. Mrs. Buckman was a member of the Hartland Women's Club. She had been a volunteer at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor. Mrs. Buckman was very active with her close friends for many years. She was born in Windsor on Jan. 3, 1924, the daughter of Konstantint and Sylvia (Vysocky) Baker. Mrs. Buckman attended school in Windsor and was a Windsor High School graduate. Survivors include her companion of more than 20 years, John Clark of Windsor; his children, Jeff Clark of Germantown, Pa., and Janice Bulock of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Robert E. Buckman of Windsor and James G. Buckman of Claremont; three daughters, Janet Denis of South Windsor, Conn., Susan Chase of Claremont and Deborah Dugan of Plant City, Fla.; four brothers, Peter A. Peter Fuller, 50
MIDDLETON, N.H. -- Peter T. Fuller, 50, of Route 153, died Wednesday (Dec. 18, 1996) at his home after a brief illness. Raised in Keene, he lived for several years in Rochester, N.H., before moving to Middleton, where he had resided since 1975. Mr. Fuller had been a teacher in Spaulding High School in Rochester since 1972. He was a former vice president of the Rochester Education Association for two terms. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Fuller enjoyed woodcarving, construction, reading and outdoor recreation. He was born in Dover, N.H., on Jan. 18, 1946, the son of Reginald and Olive (Estabrook) Fuller. Mr. Fuller was a Keene High School graduate and a graduate of Keene State College with a bachelor of education in general science. Survivors include two sons, Jeremy P. Fuller and Matthew M. Fuller, both of Middleton; his mother and father of Keene; one brother, John M. Fuller of Alstead; four sisters, Joyce Gray, Nancy Kelly and Linda Rajaneimi, all of Keene, and Cindy King of Colchester, Vt.; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Christine M. Fuller. She died on Aug. 22. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the C.E. Richard Coady, 82
NEWPORT -- Richard H. Coady, 82, of Beverly Street, died Monday (Dec. 16, 1996) after a long illness. Mr. Coady was raised in the Newport-Claremont area, resided elsewhere during his working career and returned to Newport in 1976. Mr. Coady was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration from 1944 until his retirement in 1976. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduation and served four years. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps until discharged. Mr. Coady was a member of the American Legion BrewsterGould-Lee Post No. 25 in Newport. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Mr. Coady was also a member of the John Cain Golf Club in Newport. He was born in Newport on Oct. 2, 1914, the son of Arthur and Mary (Moore) Coady. Mr. Coady was a graduate of Stevens High School in Claremont. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Agnes (Gierlatowicz) Coady of Newport; one son, Richard H. Coady Jr., of Halifax, Pa.; two daughters, June Rossi of Newport and Billie Cohen of Milford, Conn.; two grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; and one niece. Roland Paquette Sr., 69
CLAREMONT -- Roland P. Paquette Sr., 69, of Pleasant Valley Estates, died Friday (Dec. 13, 1996) at his home after a long illness. He had been a longtime Claremont resident. Mr. Paquette had been employed as a truck driver by G2S Construction Company in Massachusetts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Paquette enjoyed fishing, camping and hiking. He was born in Whitefield, N.H., on June 6, 1927, the son of Moses and Mary (Fontaine) Paquette. Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Newell) Paquette of Claremont; one son, Roland P. Paquette Jr., of Sanford, Fla.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Alberta Boynton of Littleton, N.H., Louise Stevens of Nesbit, Miss., and Mary Smith of Whitefield; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Roy Funeral Home at 93 Sullivan St., with the Rev. Robert Perrigo, pastor of the New Life Worship Center, officiating. Interment
