SR. LUCILLE GOBEIL
Sr. Lucille Gobeil, CSC (Sr. Lucille of the Sacred Heart), 85, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester, NH died February 10, 2001 in her residence.
Born in New Bedford, MA on June 5, 1915, she was the daughter of Jean C. and Marie (Chausse) Gobeil.She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1937 and made her final profession in 1944.
Sr. Gobeil earned a bachelor of arts degree from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH.She then taught music, choir and gave private piano lessons at parochial schools in New Bedford, MA; in North Grosvenordale, CT; and in New Hampshire at Manchester, Nashua and Suncook.
She was one of the first vocation recruiters for the Sisters of Holy Cross in her region.She lived in Pittsfield, NH before retiring to St. George Manor in Manchester, NH in 1987.
The family includes a brother, Florian Gobeil of New Bedford, MA and one nephew.

Douglas A. Morash Jr., 65, of Manchester, NH, died February 9, 2001.
Born in Weymouth, Mass, May 15, 1935, he was the son of Douglas A. and Catherine (Longaphee) Morash Sr.
He grew up in Weymouth, Mass, and lived in Quincy, Mass for 25 years before moving to Manchester, NH 7 years ago.
He was a graduate of Northeastern University.
Mr. Morash served in the army during the Korean Conflict.
He retired 3 years ago after working nearly 30 years as an electrical engineer for Stone & Webster.
Family members include his loving companion, Elizabeth Khozak of Manchester, NH; 3 daughters, Susan A. Bershad, Lisa K. Cleary, both of Mansfield, Mass and Linda F. Morash of Greenwich, Ct.; a son, Douglas A. Morash of Middleboro, Mass.; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Morash of Bridgton, NJ; a sister, Theresa Feriera of Nashville, TN; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, 383 Hancock St., North Quincy, Mass. Burial will be in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree, Mass.

MARIE A. LEMAY
Marie Antoinette Lemay, 82, formerly of 118 Constant St. died February 2, 2001 in the Maple Leaf Healthcare Center. She was born in Manchester on September 26, 1918, the daughter of Omer and Floride (Berger)St. Hillaire and had resided here all of her life.
A devoted homemaker, she was the widow of Raymond Lemay, who died in 1993.
Mrs. Lemay was a communicant of St. Anthony parish.
Family members include a son, Robert E. Lemay of Begnins, Switzerland; two grandchildren; a brother, Alphonse St. Hillaire of Slatersville, RI; several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church on Tuesday, March13, 2001 at 10 AM. Private urn burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St.is assistingthe family with arrangements.
ARMAND J. GAGON
Armand J. Gagnon, 83, of 6 Orchard St., Pinardville, died February 9, 2001, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center, after a brief illness.
He was born in Norton, Vt., February 1, 1918, and was the son of John and Hermina (Gagnon) Gagnon. He had been a Manchester area resident since 1942.
Mr. Gagnon was a well known carpenter in the area and had worked for Normandeau Associates before retiring in 1993.
He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.
His first wife, Yvonne (Lemay) Gagnon, predeceased him in 1983.
Family members include his wife, Marcelle (Montmarquet) Gagnon of Pinardville; a son, Raymond Gagnon of Pinardville; 2 brothers, Emile J. Gagnon of Wells, Me, and Albert J. Gagnon of Groveton, NH; a sister, Eva Tessier of Monroe, NH; nieces and nephews.

DORIS C. VAILLANCOURT
Doris C. Vaillancourt, 67, of Manchester, died February 11, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, November 26, 1933, she was the daughter of Alfred and Laurette (Langlois) Gabert. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She had worked at Pandora Industries and also Manchester Knitted Fashions.
She was married to Roger J. Vaillancourt who died in 1974.
Family members include a son, Donald D. Vaillancourt of Manchester; a daughter, Susan D. Nay of Farmington, NM; 3 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Manchester.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

WILLIAM BOHLE
William Bohle, 80, of South River Rd., Bedford died February 13, 2001 in the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester December 27, 1920, the son of John and Mary (LeRoi) Bohle and had resided in Bedford for many years.
Prior to his retirement in 1980, he had been employed as an industrial painter by the Duracrete Co. for more than 25 years.
He was a talented photographer and pursued his avocation on both an amateur and professional level.
Mr. Bohle was well known for his gardening skills and for many years tended a huge vegetable garden at his S. River Rd. property.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife of 51 years, Anna (Ouellette) Bohle in May 1994.
Family members include his wife, Delight (Watts) Bohle of Bedford; two daughters, Mrs. Harold(Jane A.) Anthony of Hope Mills, NC and Mrs. George (Linda) Muir of Bedford; two sons, Thomas W. Bohle of Goffstown and William S. Bohle of Bedford; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters,Annie Horne of Hooksett, Margaret McKinley of Raymond, Elizabeth Macauley of Duxbury MA and Louise VanKalken of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.

FRANK W. MOSHER
Frank W. Mosher, 89, of Bedford, died July 22, 2001, at Harborside Healthcare-Northwood after a lengthy illness.
Born in New York City, January 31, 1912, he was the son of Peter and Frances (Scherrer) Mosher. He lived in New York and New Jersey for many years before moving to Bedford 23 years ago.
Mr. Mosher worked for Julius Wile & Sons, wine and liquor distributors in New York and New Jersey for many years.
He played the trumpet for the Royal Tones Band in Long Island & New Jersey for many years.
Family members include his wife of 65 years, Anna C. (Reahl) Mosher of Bedford; 4 sons, Dennis F. Mosher of Wesley Chapel, FL, Kenneth W. Mosher of Bedford, Ronald E. Mosher of Manchester, and Robert J. Mosher of Mahwah, NJ; 8 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford, NH.

SR. ALICE DUCHARME
Sr. Alice Ducharme (Sr. Roger d’Orleans), 92, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, Manchester, NH died July 1, 2001 in her residence.
Born in Manchester on July 9, 1908, she was the daughter of Joseph and Nellie (Duguay) Ducharme.She entered the congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross at St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada in 1928 and made her final profession in 1934.
Sr. Ducharme earned a bachelor’s degree from College Basile Moreau in St. Laurent and a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Montreal.She then taught chemistry at Our Lady of Angels Academy and College Basile Moreau.She later was directress of the College on the Ivory Coast in Africa and at Cape Haitien in Haiti.Before retiring in 1994, she was a pastoral minister at Nativity Parish in Brandon, FL.
The family includes three sisters, Germaine Geoffrion of Pembroke Pines, FL, Jacqueline Crawford of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Sr. Theresa Ducharme of St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada; two brothers, Albert Ducharme of Manchester, NH and George Ducharme of Winchester, MA; nieces and nephews.

Jean R. Allard, 52, of Manchester died July 31, 2001 in Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester on September 14, 1948, he was the son of Maurice and Violette (Gendron) Allard.He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Allard worked as a cabinet maker for Perra Woodworking in Manchester for many years.Prior to that, he worked at Nabisco, Inc. for 10 years.
He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Hobbs League at Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield.
The family includes his wife of 31 years, Pauline M. (Belleville) Allard of Manchester; three children, Susan T. McHugh, David R. Allard and Karen P. Allard all of Manchester; a brother, Robert M. Allard of Weare; nieces and nephews.

Josephine G. (Papciak) Gorski, 83, formerly of 800 Wellington Rd., Manchester died August 1, 2001 at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, Manchester after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on March 2, 1918, she was the daughter of Stanislaw and Katarzina (Stefanik) Papciak.She lived in Manchester most of her life.She also lived in Lawrence, MA for 10 years.
Mrs. Gorski worked at Arms Textile in Manchester for many years.She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church in Auburn.
She was married to Matthew J. Gorski who died in 1984.
The family includes two sons, Michael D. Gorski of Manchester and John H. Gorski of Merrimack; a daughter, Katherine Cady of Manchester; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Lavallee and Mary Hussan both of Manchester and Ann Lambert of Hooksett; nieces and nephews.
