Roberta 'Bobbi' Lee
Funeral services for Roberta "Bobbi" Lee, 57, Coon Rapids, took place
June 24 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser
officiated. Lee died June 20. She was born Dec. 15, 1940. She worked in
human resources at Pillsbury.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Lee; daughter, Janet and Aaron Eckroad;
son, John and Denise Lee; parents, Theodore and Kathleen Zuetel; grandchildren,
Brittani, Ian, Zachary and Elizabeth; sisters, Sally and Kay Hammerle,
Susan Overtoom; and brother, David Zuetel. Pallbearers were Brittani and
Kristin Lee, MaryAnn Refshaw, Sue Ermuth, Sandy Vyskocil and Audrey DelGreco.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by the Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel,
Coon Rapids.

Marion E. Hoagland
Funeral services for Marion E. Hoagland, 78, of Anoka, took place Feb. 2
at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home. Rev. William J. Hyllengren officiated.
Hoagland died Jan. 29 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1920 in
Minneapolis to John D. Pickering and Ellen A. (OíDeen). She married David
K. Hoagland and was a retired bookkeeper at Hoffman Engineering.
She is survived by husband, David; sons, Chuck McKusick and wife Dianne of
Fridley, Jack McKusick and wife Patricia of Big Lake, Dale McKusick and
wife Barbara of Ramsey; grandchildren, Kari and husband Jon, Corey, John,
DeAnna and husband Jesse, Cynthia, Teri and David; great-grandchildren,
Matthew, Alyssa, and Cassidy; sisters, Dorothy Collins of Columbia Heights
and Violet Andreason of Spring Lake Park.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ellen Pickering;
brother, Mel Pickering; sisters, Margaret Miller, Helen Zwicki and Mildred
Dammen; first husband, Charles McKuskick; great-granddaughter, Rachel
Smith.
Pallbearers were Andy Revering, Randy Elofson, Denny DeMars, Rudy Betlach,
Ron Dvoracek, and Gary Wrob.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-
Lindberg Funeral Home.

Carol J. Valley
Funeral services for Carol J. Valley, 67, of Oak Grove, took place Feb. 1
at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Lindeman officiated.
Valley died Jan. 28 at her residence. She was born Dec. 16, 1931 in
Chicago, Ill. to George W. and Olga A. (Knoop) Buettner. She married
Robert I. Valley and was a control processor for Target Stores.
She is survived by husband, Bob; children, Kay Wilde, Linda Wilde and
Christopher Wilde.
She is preceded in death by her son, Domenick Buettner; and step-son, Lynn
Valley.
Honorary pallbearers were John Westphal, Wilbert Leyh, Ray Robinson, Roger
Welch, and Don Torgerson. Pallbearers were Herb Scatterllie, Bill Guthrie,
Kevin Schuld, Ray Jones, Dick Fenton, and Russell Dunlop.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Guadalupe Chesner
Funeral services for Guadalupe "Lupe" Chesner, 78, of Anoka, formerly of
Milwaukee, Wis., took place Feb. 1 at Epiphany Catholic Church. Rev.
Bernard Reiser officiated.
Chesner died Jan. 27 at the Camilia Rose Convalescent Center in Coon
Rapids. She was born April 3, 1920 in Jalisco, Mexico to Manuel and Justa
(Padilla) Gonzales. She married Bernard W. Chesner and they were the
owners and operators of a mattress manufacturing company.
She is survived by sons, Beranrd and wife Bernice, Gary and wife Colette;
grandchildren, Lisa, Doug, Jennifer, Colleen and Larisa; 3
great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret, Trinidad, Amalia and Maria.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; brother, Salvador
Gonzales.
Pallbearers were Brian Borgeson, Doug Chesner, Carman, Linda, and Liz
Figueroa, and Barin Norgren.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Kenneth L. Erickson
Funeral services for Kenneth L. Erickson, 48, of Champlin, took place Jan.
29 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home. Rev. Wally Hed and Eric Walbolt
officiated.
Erickson died Jan. 25 at his residence. He was born Feb. 25, 1950 in
Mountain Lake to Lloyd C. and Phyllis E. (Sogge) Erickson.
He is survived by son, Jason of Mounds View; mother, Phyllis Erickson of
Champlin.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral
Home.

Raymond L. Bouley
Funeral services for Raymond L. Bouley, Sr., 83, of Dayton, took place
Feb. 3 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rev. Jim Remmerswaal
officiated.
Bouley died Jan. 31 in Dayton. He was born Nov. 1, 1915 in Dayton to Louis
D. Bouley and Georgianna Guimont. He married Mary and was a farmer. Bouley
was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
He is survived by son, Stephen; daughter, Patricia; daughter-in-law,
Kathy; grandchildren, Nicole, Lorrie, Thomas; sisters, Lena Bouley, Ora
Berg, Mathilda Gagnon; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; and son, Raymond L. Jr.
Pallbearers were Ricky and Bill Snyder, Mike and David Bouley, Randy
Bearl, and Mike Kostecky.
Interment was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were
by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Chapel.

Joan E. Battleson
Funeral services for Joan E. Battleson, 62, Anoka, took place Jan. 3 at
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.
Battleson died Dec. 30 at Mercy Hospital. She was born May 29, 1938 in
Thief River Falls to Arne Olson and Irene Wallin. She worked in
housekeeping at Hoffman Engineering.
She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Michele Dunlap and
husband Mike; grandson, Ryah James Dunlap; brothers, John and James Olson;
sisters, Marlene Halseth, Marion Olson and husband Erling; and many nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Susan Irene; parents;
and brother, Halver (Billy).
Interment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg
Funeral Home, Anoka.

Richard A. Burgess
Funeral services for Richard A. Burgess, 81, Fridley, took place Jan. 3 at
Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. James Martin officiated.
Burgess died Dec. 29 in Fridley. He was born in Elbow Lake to Wilbur and
Amelia Burgess. He was a retired mechanic.
He is survived by his daughter, Jackueline Albertson; grandchildren,
Shane, Stephanie, Stacie, Kristina, Seth, Desirae and Paige;
great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jillian; brother, Curtis (Helen)
Burgess; sister, Cyrenna Burgess; and numerous nieces, nephews and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eugenia; and son Mark.
Pallbearers were Shane, Shawn, and Joann Albertson, and Michael and
Stephanie Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Jillian, Paige and Seth
Albertson, Kristina Jones and Desirae Bartlett.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements
were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Devin Coleman
Funeral services for Devin Coleman, 6, Cedar, took place Jan. 6 at
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Marcus Mork officiated.
Coleman died Jan. 1 in Morrison Township. He was born Nov. 30, 1994 in
Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his parents, Kim and David; brother, Randy;
grandparents, Carol Jepson, Wayne and Sunny House; and aunts, uncles,
relatives and friends.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements
were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Daniel L. Enger
Funeral services for Daniel L. Enger, 34, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 4
at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Enger died Dec. 31 in Coon Rapids. He was born Feb. 23, 1966 in
Minneapolis. He was employed at the Super Valu warehouse in Hopkins.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, Nate and Jacob; mother, Mary
(Bob) Fish; sisters, Julie Anderson, Dina (Dean) McLain and Kristin Enger;
brothers, Gary (Bonnie) Enger and Paul (Jill) Enger; grandparents, Frances
and Mauritz Jacobson; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and other
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Enger.
Pallbearers were Joe Millay, Joe McHale, Joe Novak, Paul Davey, Dean
McLain, Scott Sabraski and Steve Daugherty.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy
Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Marilyn Halsey
Funeral services for Marilyn Halsey, 69, Anoka, will take place today
(Friday, Jan. 12), 11 a.m., at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev.
Dennis Heiden will officiate.
Halsey died Jan. 7 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1931 and was
the retired secretary of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton; children, Steve (Patti), David
(Mary), Elizabeth Borash (Jeff), Dan (Ginny), and Sarah Theisen (Joe);
grandchildren, Erin, Brooke, Rachel, Mike, Megan, Marc, Sheenah, Luke,
Jennifer, Laura, Caitlin and Scott; sister, Kelli Kemkamp (George); many
cousins, nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements are by
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Eugene J. Hanley
Funeral services for Eugene James Hanley, 88, Anoka, took place Jan. 10 at
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. William Hyllengren
officiated.
Hanley died Jan. 4 in Anoka. He was born Feb. 5, 1912 in Minneapolis and
was employed in sales.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Alice) Hanley, Patrick (Yvonne)
Hanley, Timothy Hanley and Stephen Hanley; daughter, Monica Hanley and
Marcia (Mike) Cleys; grandchildren, Zachary, Jake and Joseph Cleys, Eric
and Nicole Hanley; sisters, Marguerite Vaught and Barbara Krantz;
stepsister, Ruth Hugh; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives
and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Jean; son, Robert
Bruce; brothers, Cyril and Clement; and stepbrother, William (Bill)
Murtaugh.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Bruce Ilstrup
Funeral services for Bruce Ilstrup, 46, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 6 at
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard A. Reiser
officiated.
Ilstrup died Jan. 3 in Buffalo. He was born Nov. 15, 1954 in Buffalo and
was a warehouse employee.
He is survived by his wife, Susie (Gerard/Irwin); sons, Joe and Jerome;
mother, Harriet Elletson Mooney; family members, Candy and Byron (Shelso)
Wells, Michael and Karen Carter, Diane Ilstrup, Kevin and Jeanine Mooney,
Mary Mooney; nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Ilstrup; stepfather, V.
Charles Mooney; brother-in-law, Richard Shelso; and his parents.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements
were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Leone M. Johnson
Funeral services for Leone M. Johnson, 80, Champlin, took place Jan. 5 at
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Revs. Edward Blomberg and Ronn
Johnson officiated.
Johnson died Dec. 31 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1920 in
Litchfield to Elmer A. and Mabel (Ellison) Nelson and was a retired
seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; children, Bruce (Sherri) Johnson
and Jim Johnson, all of Oklahoma, Carol (Ronald) Bjerke of Spring Grove;
granddaughters, Naomi Bjerke of Spring Grove and Kristine Johnson of
Oklahoma; brother, Bruce (Mary Ann) Nelson of Wadena; numerous nieces,
nephews, and sisters-in-law; and other relatives and special friends,
George and Jo Anne Wolkerstorfer of Champlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers were Mathew Wolkerstorfer, Robert and James Barr, and Steve,
Scott and Wayne Nelson.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
