Funeral services for Irene C. Carollo, 89, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 15 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Carollo died Jan. 12 in Robbinsdale. She was born Oct. 24, 1920 to Peter Kynchara and Sophia Novak. She was a bookkeeper.
She is survived by her children, Don and wife Sharon, Barbara and husband Gary Kuyava of Duluth; grandchildren, Angela, Danile and Jeff Kuyava, Jill and husband Mike Kuyava-DeBerg of Iowa; and great-granddaughter, Kylie Kuyava-DeBerg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Joe Carollo.
Interment
was at Calvary Cemetery, Duluth. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Chapel.
John S. Dick III
Funeral services for John S. Dick III, 82, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 13 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Dick died Jan. 11 in Fridley. He was born June 12, 1917 in Minneapolis and was a retired inspector from FMC. He was also a member of the skeet and trap hall of fame.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Diane (Tom) Markey, John, David (Cathy), Dan (Jean); and grandchildren, Brady McLean, Christine, Chad, Danny and Adam Dick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. John Dick, Sr.
Interment

Richard V. Erickson
Funeral services for Richard V. Erickson, 67, Champlin, took place Jan. 17 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Osseo. Rev. Gregory Tyler officiated.
Erickson died Jan. 13 at Twin Rivers Care Center, Anoka. He was born Sept. 12, 1932 in St. Louis Park to Vernon O. Erickson and Judith E. Anderson. He was a truck driver at Hoffman Engineering for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; stepchildren, Robert Bovee and wife Jo-Ann of Silver Springs, Md., Gordon Bovee and wife Jan of Andover, Stan Bovee and wife Judy of St. Cloud, Pamela Cook and husband, Rick Laughlin of Zimmerman, Penny Mitchell and husband Grant of Ramsey; nine step-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Erickson; sisters, Eleanor Wallace, Lorraine Wallace and Virginia Miller; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Donald Erickson, Charles Wallace, Clem Dargis, Arthur Blesi, and Gordon and Stan Bovee.

Robert Germundsen
Funeral services for Robert L. Germundsen, 65, Oak Grove, took place Jan. 15 at Meadow Creek Church, Andover. Rev. James Thomason officiated.
Germundsen died Jan. 11. He was born Oct. 17, 1934 in Champlin to Lawrence Germundsen and Frances Campbell. He served in the U.S. Navy and was in construction. He was a member of the St. Francis American Legion Post.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda; son, Aaron; daughter and son-in-law, Angeline and Tim Seddon; brother, John Fournier; and sisters, Muriel Mier, Joanne Graham and Karla Fournier.
He was preceded in death by grandsons, Brady and Bryce; and mother, Frances Fournier.

George Holzworth

Holzworth died Jan. 10 in Minneapolis. He was born April 3, 1922 in Palm City, S.D. He was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Ella; children, Delores (James) Krueger, Bonita (John) Krogman, Julia (Raymond) Day, Jr., Mylo (Carol) Holzworth, Cindy Holzworth, Deborah (Peter) Apodaca; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Harlan C. Mead
Funeral services for Harlan C. Mead, 70, Hermantown, formerly of Champlin, took place Jan. 17 at Champlin American Legion.
Mead died Jan 11 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Duluth. He was born April 13, 1929 in Anoka to Clifford O. and Ella Emery Mead. A veteran of the Korean War, he retired after 25 years in the U.S. Army, owned Champlin Sinclair Station in the 1970s, was a Champlin rural mail carrier and worked for the Champlin Parks Department until his retirement in 1994. He was a charter member of the Champlin Historical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; children, Carol and Bill Eastridge, Cindy and Jess Ryan, Cheri and Scott Dexter, Liz Redmon; grandchildren, Joshua, Corey, Quentin, Zachary, Caitlin, Jordan, Breanna, Cody, Colton; and brothers, Chet (Doris) Mead, Carl (Renee) Mead, and Raymond (Nancy) Mead.
He was preceded in death by his son, Clifford A. Mead; brother, Robert Mead; and parents, Clifford and Ella Mead.

Kenneth Musselman
Funeral services for Kenneth H. Musselman, 84, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 13 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Musselman died Jan.8 in Anoka. He was born Sept. 4, 1915 in Porter, and was retired as a maintenance employee. He also served in the South Pacific in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; daughter, Charlene (Tim) Mayclin; son, Howard; grandchildren, Annette, Anthony, Gina, Stephanie; great-grandsons, Chondray, Jareld; brother, Harold; sister, Myrtle Gonea; and many nieces, nephew and friends.

Clarence Roberts
Funeral services for Clarence “Bob” Roberts, 66, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 17 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Chaplain Rex Beyer officiated.
Roberts died Jan. 14 in Coon Rapids. He was born Sept. 15, 1933 in Minneapolis and was a warehouse supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Verna “Penny;” daughters, Linda Goursky, Robin and husband Phil Stueve, Debra Burke, Kelly Roberts; son, Marvin Roberts; seven sisters; one brother; nine grandchildren; six great-grandsons; and many friends.

Alden B. Ryan
Funeral services for Alden Bernard Ryan, 84, Spring Lake Park, took place Jan. 17 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Blaine.
Ryan died Jan. 13 in Fridley. He was born Oct. 26, 1915 in Oguma Township. He was a landscaper and machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Angeline; children, Kathy (Joe) Weiss, Al (Carol) Ryan, Tom (Dianne) Ryan, Mark (Renee) Ryan, Jim (Sandy) Ryan, Rich (Sherri) Ryan, Mary (Dennis) Franz, Laurie (Mike) Means, and Greg (DeAnn) Ryan; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores (Bob) Wenzel; and m many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Hilda D. Windmeier

Windmeier died Jan. 12 at her home in Coon Rapids., She was born Aug. 24, 1932 in Beulah, N.D., to Henry J. and Freida C. Horning Boeshans. She was an administrative assistant at Graco.
She is survived by her husband, Art; children, Skip (Jane), Annette (Greg) Olson, Amy (Brad) Draves; grandchildren, Joey, Abby, Gretchen, Ali, Malee, Megan, Aubrey and Austin; mother, Frieda Boeshans; brothers, Ernie, Ben, Louie, Art, Donnie, Hub and Mark; sisters, Irene, Rose, Marilyn, and Tootsie; godchildren, Sheila, Sue, Randy, Renee, Dana and Sandy; and many other relatives and friends.

Mary E. Beauchaine

Beauchaine died March 10 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1927 in Ramsey, Minnesota, to Frederick C. Pamraning and Elizabeth (Schulz). She was married to Robert C. Beauchaine. Mary was a bank teller at The Northern Bank.
She is survived by her nephews, Morrie Mox, LeRoy, Dale, Verne, Reid & Ryan Pomraning; niece, Madonna Brenny; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Minnie Mox, Elizabeth Hulegaard, her brother, Carl Pomraning, and her husband, Robert Beauchaine.

Mark “Jacob” Garrick

Garrick died March 10 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was born August 18, 1979, in Tampa, Florida, to Mark Garrick and JoAnn Bodin.

Stephen W. Holasek

Garrick died March 9 at his residence in Ramsey. He was born April 13, 1942, in Minneapolis, MN, to Joseph S. & Harriet V. (Dvorak) Holasek. He was married to Gloria J. Swanson. Stephen was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, Mark and wife Harriet, Craig and Tim; grandsons, Michael and Samuel; mother, Harriet Holasek; siblings, Jean Ernst, Edward, Allan, Elaine Weinbrenner and husband Randy, and Jerry; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe.

Langmade died March 10 at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1915, in St. Francis, MN, to John Westlund and Marie Rongstad. She married Merle C. Langmade, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverdale Assembly of God.
She is survived by her children, Loella Nass and husband Bernie, Verona Loven, Janice Wefel and husband Chuck, Marvel Payne, Karen Ingalls and husband Lawren, Gary, Linda Davis and husband Owen, Jerry and wife Ellie, Marv; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother, Art Westlund, and sister, Dolores Neuenswander.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle.

Loften died March 3 at the New Brighton Care Center. She was born December 7, 1922, in Tumar Nieudorff, Barashie, Russia, to Rudolph and Alvina (Tober) Hoppe. She married J. Glyn Loften on Nov. 18, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN. She was an assembler at Cornelius Company in Anoka.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Resch of Mounds View; grandsons, Greg and Jeff Resch; sisters, Alma Ova of St. Paul and Hilda Williams of Manhattan, KS; brother, Alvin Hoppe and wife Gloria of Big Sandy, TX; nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Glyn Loften.

Nordling died March 10 in Anoka. He was born May 27, 1929, in Minneapolis, MN. Dennis was a painter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jeanne. Dennis was: a loving father to 3 sons, Steven (Sandra), Jeffrey (Janice), Scott (Collette); loving and protective grandfather to Angel, Jeremy, Stacey, Casey, Kelly, Michael, and Samuel. He is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Sally), Richard (Betty), sisters, Beverly Lee (Clifford), Irene Carlson, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald, and sister Leona.

Myra Viola Okerstrom
Funeral services for Myra Viola Okerstrom, 84, Fridley (formerly of St. Anthony Village), took place March 16 at Nativity Lutheran Church. Pastor Glenn Seefeldt officiated.
Okerstrom died March 12 in Oak Grove. She was born March 27, 1915, in Melrose, MN, to Adolph Peterson and Hilma Tollefsrud. She was married to Theodore Okerstrom, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Warren and wife Karen, Dennis and wife Karren, Rick and wife Carol, June Anderson and husband Roy; 29 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, and daughter, Marlys Ogdahl.

Olson died March 9 in Blaine. He was born July 8, 1916, in Ansel, MN, to Frank J. Olson and Carrie Torgerson. He was married to Doris C. Erickson. Orville worked in highway construction.
He is survived by his wife, Doris, son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Roberta Olson, grandson Dennis Jr., brothers, Frank and Everette Olson, and nieces and nephews.

Merrill S. Paulson, Sr.
Funeral services for Merrill S. Paulson, Sr., 79, Anoka (formerly of North Dakota and Marion, MN), took place March 11 at Zion Lutheran Church. Reverend Norman R. Berg officiated.
Paulson died March 6 in Hidalgo County, Mission, Texas. He was born October 30, 1920, in LaMoure, ND, to Selmer Paulson and Lillian Aundrud. He was married to Carolyn Strander and was a truck driver. Merrill served in WWII in the U.S. Army, was an avid RVer and mechanic, and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn; daughter, Marlene Lindblom, sons, Merrill Jr. and wife Diane, Gerald and companion Rose; grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle and husband Trent, Michael, Monica and husband Allan, Shane, Brandon and Candi; great-grandson, Garrett; sister, Lillian Joy Scott; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth & Bonnie, Cornelius and Bertha, Neal and Norma, and Milfred and Sue.
He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Reginald.
