BOGALUSA - Cheyenne Elizabeth Bond, infant daughter of Wayne and Kathy Bond, died at Northshore Hospital in Slidell.
She is survived by parents, Wayne Scott and Kathy Joe Bond of Slidell; one brother, Joseph Wayne Bond of Slidell; paternal grandmother, Dixie Mayfield King of Slidell; paternal grandparents, Joseph Wayne and Gwen Bond of Bogalusa; and maternal grandfather, Joseph Wilbanks.
She is precede in death by one sister, Stormy Lynn Bond and maternal grandmother, Nadine Wilbanks.
Graveside services will be tomorrow at 11 a m at Hillview Memorial Gardens with Father David Fargo officiating.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Deloris Richardson of North Carolina; one son, Veweiser Johnson of Bogalusa; one sister, Katie Brumfield of Hammond; one brother, Johnny Williams of California; and seven grandchildren.

Valine M Ado Causey, Jr , all of Bogalusa; one sister, Almedia Brodnax of Tchwia, MS; 42 grandchildren; 78 great-great grandchildren; 47 great-great-great grandchildren; one great-great- great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Willie Magee; two children, Mrs. Alyien Reid and Mr. Albert Magee.

Michael Richmond

BOGALUSA - Michael Richmond, 43, former city councilmen, died Wednesday at LSU Washington St Tammany Regional Medical Center Richmond has had a long and varied career in public service After he graduated from Loyola University, he returned to his hometown of Bogalusa and became one of the first African American elected officials At the age of 22, Richmond was one of the country's youngest elected municipal officials He was appointed to the Vice-President's Youth Employment Council at the United States Department of Labor He followed this 1980 appointment by being one of the founding members of the National League of Cities Black Caucus Later that year, he was appointed Assistant Vice President of student affairs at Southeastern Louisiana University.
During that time, Richmond began working with Stevie Wonder to help organize the 1981 March on Washington in recognition of Rev. Dr Martin Luther King's birthday He was later appointed to the Board of Directors of the New Orleans World Fair to assist in developing the Black History Pavilion Richmond was also elected to the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Municipal Associations Black Caucus and later became its Vice President In 1986, Richmond retired from government and moved to Boston to further his education He began working at the AIDS Action Committee in 1987 as one of it's coordinators of Minority Affairs After leaving AIDS Action Committee, he became Director of AIDS Education and Training for Roxbury Comprehensive Health Center During that time he also used his talents as a board member for the Boston Living Center and the AIDS Housing Corporation Richmond began to develop the concept for Men of Color Against AIDS (MOCAA) in 1981 In 1993, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health AIDS Bureau committed to funding MOCAA for its innovative approach to conducting HIV and AIDS education and awareness, making this organization the first of its kind in the New England area to address issues relevant to gays and lesbians of color.
Richmond served as MOCAA's executive director until the fall of 1996 During his tenure, MOCAA received the Frederick Garrett Award by the National Black and Lesbian and Gay Leadership Forum for the organization's outstanding contributions in the community Accolades continued for Richmond after he left Boston He was invited and attended the Baynard Rustin Community Breakfast on May 2, 1998 at the John F Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston It was here where he received his most prestigious and final award of his career, "The Baynard Austin Award For Courage " Richmond is survived by his parents, Moses and Alvia Mae Richmond, two brothers, Roscoe N.
and Darryl R ; one aunt, Mary P Buchanan of Baton Rouge, three nieces, Tanisha R Jasmine R.
and Astin R Richmond of Amite and one nephew, Jamal R Richmond of Amite; seven aunts, Janice Watson of Milwaukee, WI, Ruthy Stull of Las Vegas, NV, Edna Foxworth of St Louis, MO; Bessie Magee of Prentiss, MS; Mattie Richmond of Mumford, AL; Claudine Richmond of Oakland, CA; and Dorean Richmond of Prentiss, MS; three uncles, Jessie Richmond Sr of Sacramento, CA, Darnell Perry Sr of New Orleans and Archie Perry of Bogalusa and host of other cousins, loyal relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held tomorrow from 10 a m to 2 p m at the Second missionary Baptist Church with funeral services following immediately afterwards Funeral service will be under the direction of Jesse, Charles and Silas Richmond, assisted by the Louisiana, Mississippi and National Funeral Directors Association.
Irene L Gaddy

ARNAUDVILLE - Irene L Gaddy, 89, died yesterday afternoon in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Gaddy was a native of Leonville, and a resident of Arnaudville for 25 years She was a member of the Arnaudville Baptist Church She was a long time resident of Bogalusa and retired from the Bogalusa School System.
Gaddy is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray (Helen) Gaddy of Broussard, Dannie L (Janie) Gaddy of Pine, and Douglas (Lila) Gaddy of Center, TX; one daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Olen Boatwright of Birmingham, AL; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna Rivette, Edna Mae and Harold Robin, Leola and Remi Kidder, Jessie Lee and Chester Broussard, all of Arnaudville, and Paulita and Wilbert Lecompte of Violet.
Gaddy was preceded in death by her parents, Emar and Ovilia Lalonde, both natives of Pecaniere; three brothers, Alex, Camille and Curley Lalonde; and by one sister, Numa Hebert.
Visitation is from 2 p m until 9 p m today and from 8 a m until service time tomorrow.
Funeral service is tomorrow at 2 p m in Melancon Funeral Home Chapel in Arnaudville with Rev. Harold Gaddy officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Gaddy's grandsons.
Interment
will be in St Francis Regis Garden Memorial Mausoleum in Arnaudville.

BOGALUSA - Denver Charles Tullos, 79, died yesterday at Bogalusa Community Medical Center.
A veteran Pharmacist mate First Class with the U S Navy, he also served in four different war zones as a Purser in the U S Merchant Marines.
In partnership with his father, Tullos had the Bogalusa Studebaker, Packard, Rambler Dealership for 25 years A retired district manager for Equitable Life Assurance Company he was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, a Mason and Shriner and a charter member of the Krewe of Magic City Carnival Association, (MCCA), Den of Roogaroo.
Tullos is survived by his wife, Sue Windham Tullos, one son, Charles Tullos; one daughter, Kaye Stafford; two step-sons, John L Magee and Rev. Randall Magee; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Aline Byrd Tullos; one brother, Earl Tullos; one sister Gloria Jean Scroggs Elzey; and his parents Charles E and Alma Tullos.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p m until 9 p m with Masonic Rites at 7 p m and will continue tomorrow after 9 a m at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home.

Audie Lee Welch

FRANKLINTON - Audie Lee Welch, 86, died yesterday at Heritage Manor in Franklinton.
She was the widow of Thomas McCauley and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Welch is survived by three sons, Gerald Welch of Franklinton, Hollos Welch and Michael Welch both of Bush; one daughter, Lanell Martin of Buras; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Welch was preceded in death by a son, Sidney Ray Welch and four sisters, Rosa Mae Corkern, Beulah Welch, Elois Creel and Emma Galloway.
Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 6 p m until 9 p m today and after 8 a m. tomorrow.

William Ralph Branton, Sr.

BOGALUSA - William Ralph Branton Sr , age 67, died yesterday at Bogalusa Community Medical Center He was a resident of Rio and a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church in Mt Hermon He was also a veteran of the U S Navy and a retired employee of Crown-Zellerbach.
He is survived his wife of 48 years, Bettie James Branton; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Jeannie and Karl Bickham of Franklinton, Marlene Branton of Franklinton, and Coleen and Randy Stewart of Bogalusa; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ralph Anthony "Tony" Branton and William Ralph, Jr and Jana Branton, all of Bogalusa; thirteen grandchildren; one sister-in- law, Mildred Branton of Gretna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary T Branton, five brothers and three sisters.
Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.

Lloyd Franson
(Died April 21, 1999)
BOGALUSA - Lloyd Franson, age 83, died April 21, 1999 in Orting, Washington He was born in Viroqua, WI and had lived in Milton, WA or the last 7 years He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, where he received the purple heart and many other medals of honor He was one of the first employees at the new Multiwall Division of Crown Zellerbach to be transferred to Bogalusa from California in 1957.
He is survived by four sons, Gary Franson of Fircrest, WA, Dennis Franson of LaPlace, John Franson of Milton, WA, and Lloyd Franson, Jr of Tacoma, WA; one daughter, Maureen Gaddy of Franklinton, LA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Stan Franson of Mendota Heights, MN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Franson.
Arrangements were made at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup, WA with graveside services to be held in Ponemah Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Westmorland Lee of Franklinton; one son, Stephen Keith Lee; two daughters, Angie Nicole Lee of Ocean Springs, MS and Veronica Theresa Sibley of Denham Springs; one brother, Rodney Wayne Lee of Bogalusa; one sister, Peggy Lee Crain of Bogalusa; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Lee of Bogalusa; three grandchildren, Amiee Lee Baton Rouge, Tyler Wilson and Adam McLin, both of Denham Springs; niece, Ginger Jones of Bogalusa; two nephews, Douglas Jones of Slidell and Douglas Lee of Bogalusa; and special friends, Scarlett Gaddy, Stacy Thompson, Blue and Robin Breland, David Gay, Deborah Laird and Denver "Dinkie" Penton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Lonzo Lee and Beatrice Edwina Brewer and one brother, Jerry "Preacher" Lee.

Hermon, employed at WCI in Angie and a member of Mt Hermon Baptist Church.
HE is survived by his wife, Frances Magee Miller of Mt Hermon; one son, Steve Miller of Mt.
Hermon; one daughter, Donna Brasso of Baton Rouge; and one sister, Bonnie Foil of Bogalusa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Huey and Verlie Singleton Miller.
