Emma M. Woller, 90, of Evansville, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at the Evansville Protestant Home.
She was a graduate of Wadesville High School.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Carolyn Rhodes of Evansville; a brother, Albert Espenlaub of Poseyville, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Gudgel, in 1940 and her second husband, John Woller, in 1986.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Glenn Flowers officiating, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Wadesville, Ind.

Ronnie Hodges
Ronnie Lee Hodges, 60, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He suffered with emphysema.
He owned and operated Riverside Motors for 25 years.
He was a race car driver at the Tri-State Speedway for many years.
He attended Vann Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Judy (Meredith); a daughter, Leigh Feldpausch of Evansville; a son, Devin of Evansville; two sisters, Betty Scarbrough and Jean Fulkerson, both of Evansville; and two brothers, Robert Hodges of Evansville and Richard Meredith of Yankeetown, Ind.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. David Schulz Jr. officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Yandel Haines
ROCKPORT, Ind. — Yandel Haines, 77, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, of cancer at his home.
He retired as a carpenter in 1987 and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 549. He was a member of the Rockport/Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Department for 42 years.
He was a World War II Army veteran and member of the Owensboro Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 696.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Julia; two sons, Denny of Rockport and Tom of Evansville; a sister, Jamie James of Louden, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Leisa Price, Missy, Jeff and Jason Haines and Lori Henson; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Jerry Ratliff Jr.
POSEYVILLE, Ind. — Jerry W. Ratliff Jr., 35, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
He had worked for Standard Laboratories, since 1989.
He was a member of the Model Car Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Madison Ratliff at home; a son, Dustin K. Koenig at home; his parents, Debbie and Jerry W. Ratliff Sr. of Lexington, N.C.; two sisters, Angela McCoy of Minnie, Ky., and Regina Prater of Lawrence County, Ky.; and his grandfather, Raymond Gibson.
Services and burial are pending.

Stanley Fischer
TELL CITY, Ind. — Stanley J. Fischer, 79, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was founder and president of Fischer’s Furniture & Appliance Co., Fischer’s Tru-Flame Gas Co. Inc., Fischer’s Stock Farms and Fischer’s Rental.
He developed Fischer’s Cedar Crest Lake.
He was a World War II Army veteran and member of American Legion Post 213.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 1172 and an honorary member of the American Red Cross.
Surviving are six daughters, Janet Veeck, Betty Hagedorn, Diann Williams and Teresa Lutgring, all of Tell City, Donna McNulty of Paducah, Ky., and Sharon Little of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sons, Jerry and Richard, both of Tell City; two brothers, Randall and Leroy, both of Tell City; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Kuntz).
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or American Red Cross.

Randa McCully
SEBREE, Ky. — Randa Jones McCully, 83, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home.
She had worked for 12 years at the Sebree Deposit Bank.
She was a member of the Sebree United Methodist Church, Webster County Homemakers and past president of the Professional Women’s Club in Dixon.
Surviving are a son, Steve of Louisville; a brother, John R. of Slaughters; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Pascal, died in 1992.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree-Poole Chapel, with burial in Slaughters Cemetery.

Marion Orendoff
MARION, Ky. — Marion Orendoff, 55, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his home. Crittenden County is investigating the death.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Orendoff of Houston and Norma Jean Harris of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, Michael Orendoff and Thomas Lee Easley, both of Marion, and Thomas John Orendoff of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Bonnie Turner of Marion, Annetta Guess of Paducah and Madaline Blythe and Linda Carlton, both of Evansville; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boyd Funeral Chapel in Salem, with burial in White’s Chapel Cemetery near Tolu.

Judy Holt
STURGIS, Ky. — Judy A. Holt, 56, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, of pancreatitis at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; a daughter, Beth Lacy of Providence; a stepdaughter, Allison Thweatt of Sturgis; a son, Greg Moore of Sturgis; a stepson, Larry E. Holt of Sturgis; her parents, George C. and Evelyn Henshaw of Sturgis; four sisters, Mary Lou Duncan, Ida Jo Dayberry and Rebecca Greenwell, all of Morganfield, and Kate Winders of Morganfield; two brothers, Bill Henshaw of Venice, Fla., and David Henshaw of Sturgis; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Union County, with burial in Pythian Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at St. Francis Borgia Parish Hall in Sturgis and from 8:30 a.m. to service time at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Trudy Boling
HAWESVILLE, Ky. — Trudy Young Boling, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
She retired from the Hancock County School System, after teaching for 38 years at the Hawesville Elementary and Hancock County Middle Schools.
She attended Western Kentucky Teachers College and graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
She was an active member of the Hawesville Baptist Church and Senior Citizens. She was a past member of Eastern Star 480.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Shelton of Owensboro; a son, John M. of Elizabethtown; and three grandchildren.
Her husband, John M. Sr., died in 1978 and a daughter, Jane Boling-Hamilton, in 1994.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hawesville Baptist Church, with burial in Cloverport Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gibson & Son Funeral Home.

Marvin Bell
DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. — Marvin “Marion” Bell, 82, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
He was a coal miner and construction worker.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving on the USS Tennessee. He was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Shannon Davis of Dawson Springs; two sons, Marvin of Fort Wayne and Gail of Grand Rivers; and a grandchild.
His wife, Anna Pauline, died in 1989.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Beshear Funeral Home, with burial in Rosedale Cemetery.

Ernie Lemke
DAHLGREN, Ill. — Ernie E. Lemke, 82, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his home. He was Baptist.
He had been a farmer and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby M.; two daughters, Marie Barr of Dahlgren and Minnie L. Butler of Nolensville, Tenn.; a son, Everett of Dahlgren; five grandchildren, Cindy Phillips, Keith Barr, Todd Butler and Joshua and Evana Lemke; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gholson Funeral Home, with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Audrey O’Donnell
FAIRFIELD, Ill. — Audrey Kelly O’Donnell, 68, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at her home of heart failure.
She had been the activity director at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are her mother, Genevieve Hodgson of Fairfield; and a sister Marjorie Kimpel of Fairfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, with burial in Barth Cemetery in Enterprise.

Anna Linz
OBLONG, Ill. — Anna Louise Linz, 100, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at the Burgin Manor Nursing Home.
She had been a saleslady at Marion’s Candy Store in baltimore, Md.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann Shryock of Oblong and Agnes Williams of Holly Springs, Miss.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Adolph Otto, died in 1954.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pulliam Funeral Home, with burial in the Oblong Cemetery.

William Hosselton
CISNE, Ill. — William S. “Bill” Hosselton, 55, of Clay City, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, of cancer at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville.
He was a farmer, oil field worker and member of the Zif Missionary Baptist Church in Clay City.
He served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Connie; three sons, Bill Jr. and Ryan, both of Clay City, and Greg of Manteno; a sister, Reveta Black of Carbondale; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zif Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Clay City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hosselton Funeral Home Cisne Chapel and from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.

Ella Ragsdale
HARRISBURG, Ill. — Ella Ragsdale, 99, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.
She had been a school teacher and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
Surviving are nieces and a nephew.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gaskins Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery near Buncombe.

Anna Brown
Anna Stiles Brown, 84, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Holiday Health Care.
She retired as a special education teacher in North Carolina.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henderson.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Harold; a daughter, Jo Lloyd Logan of Henderson; two sons, Jack H. of Atlanta and Bradley H. of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two sisters, Louise S. Hiatt of Sarasota, Fla., and Lois S. Sparks of Murray, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Drs. Thomas C. and Mark B. Logan, Scott Logan, W. Clinton and Jessie L. Venable, Angela B. Nosser and Garrett M. Brown; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Revs. Rebecca Curry and Glenn Howell officiating, with burial pending.

Robert Bunner
Robert P. Bunner, 54, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, of a heart attack at Deaconess Hospital.
He was a self-employed contractor and member of the Eagles and Owls in Evansville.
Surviving are his wife, Valada; five daughters, Lisa and Teresa Collins and Stacey Berry, all of Evansville, Tina Belleville of Tell City, Ind., and Rhonda Coleman of Petersburg, Ind.; four sons, Scott and Chris Herron, Joey Cupp and George Klueg, all of Evansville; two sisters, Debbie Hinton of Hawesville, Ky., and Barbara Russel of Evansville; two brothers, George William Jones of Evansville and Richard D. Bunner of Hawesville; and 15 grandchildren, including, Nathan Collins, whom he raised.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Locust Hill Cemetery, the Rev. Everett Freels officiating. There will be no visitation at Pierre Funeral Home.

Clarence Dezember
Clarence W. Dezember, 84, formerly of Evansville, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at the Bloomington Hospital.
He had been a flight line superintendent for the Republic Aviation Group in Evansville, a methods engineer for RCA in Bloomington, Ind., and an auditor for the Manatee County School System in Bradenton, Fla.
He was a graduate of Reitz High School in Evansville and attended the University of Evansville.
He was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church and a life member of the Elks Lodge 446, both in Bloomington.
Surviving are his wife, R. Virginia (Farley); two stepdaughters, Loyce Burns and Joyce Wise, both of Bloomington; two sisters, Wanda Gates of Evansville and Bonnie Algood of Tavares, Fla.; three brothers, Larry of Ventura, Calif., Garnet of Leesburg, Fla., and Donald of Glendale, Ariz.; nine stepgrandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington, with entombment in Valhalla Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Richard Willett
Richard Willett, 81, of Evansville, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at Brentwood Nursing Center of cancer.
He was deacon and member of the brotherhood at the Nazarene Baptist Church.
Surviving are a niece and nephew.
His wife, Lottie, died in 1996.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Nazarene Baptist Church, the Rev. Larry Rascoe officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

‘Jim’ Simon
Louis “Jim” Simon, 79, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at his home.
He retired from the Liberty Auto Salvage in 1990, after 43 years.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Deanna Schukraft and Kathy Simon, both of Evansville; and a sister, Anetta Simon of Pasadena, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home, with entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Hugh Demonbreun
Hugh Etney “Goat” Demonbreun, 79, of Evansville, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, of cancer at Deaconess Hospital.
He was a self-employed home remodeler.
He was a World War II Army veteran, a Mason and enjoyed hunting.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandy Harper and Ruth Courter, both of Evansville; two sisters, Lillie Mae Dozier and Betty Jean Demonbreun; four brothers, Clifford, Leland, Cecil and Roland; five grandchildren, Debra Scott, Dan, Jenny and Brian Byers, and Chrisie Holtzclaw; and five great-grandchildren.
His wife, Mabel (Bugg), died in 1984.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Mike Stoelting officiating, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Karl Armstead
Karl Armstead, 27, of Evansville, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital. The cause of death is under Vanderburgh County coroner’s investigation.
He had attended North High School and was an outstanding football player and enjoyed sports.
Surviving are two daughters, Karrie and Jordan Armstead, both of Evansville; a son, Kylan of Evansville; his mother, Charlotte Armstead of Evansville; his father and stepmother, Larry and Chiquita Armstead of Evansville; three sisters, Shannon and Deltrice Armstead, both of Evansville and Kelly Armstead of Henderson, Ky.; two brothers, Tiko and Larry Jr., both of Evansville; grandparents, Iola Armstead, Margaret Willis and Myra and William Moody; and his fiancee, Kim Stevens of Evansville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dove Chapel Full Gospel Baptist Church, the Rev. Randall Lander officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mason Bros. Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

Earl Berry
Earl Andrew Berry, 86, of Newburgh formerly of Salem, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
He had been a pipe fitter and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salem.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian (Baltzell); a son, Charles of Evansville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ragers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem, with burial in East Lawn Cemetery.

Valada Craft
Valada Margaret (Wolf) Craft, 71, of Evansville, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, of renal failure at CORE Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was Lutheran.
Surviving are a sister, Lorna Hofmann of Boonville, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, the Rev. Walter W. Ullman officiating, with burial in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Connie Davis
Connie Gayle (Ohlrogge) Davis, 43, of Evansville, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Cause of death has not yet been determined.
She was a part-time aide at Scott Elementary Day Care.
She had been active in 4-H and enjoyed showing dogs and saddle bred horses.
Surviving are three daughters, Kristina Davis of Indianapolis and twin daughters, Katherine and Katie Davis at home; her mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Bill Wright of Evansville; her father, Herbert Ohlrogge of Indianapolis; two sisters, Debra Ray and Kathy Ohlrogge, both of Indianapolis; her grandmothers, Mary Kleiman and Gertrude Ohlrogge; and her companion of 20 years, Keith Davis of Evansville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, the Rev. John Motz officiating, with burial in St. John’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Buckskin, Ind.
