Edward E. “Kakie” Cooper, 45, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, in Plainfield, Ind., of cancer.
He was a laborer in construction.
He was a member of the Line Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Pamela; a daughter, Lacriska L. Cooper of Evansville; two sons, Edward Jr. and Brandon, both of Evansville; his parents, Fred and Percy Cooper of Evansville; four sisters, Delores and Torwanna Cooper, Gloria Scott and Kathleen, all of Evansville; six brothers, Fred Jr., A.C., Lewis, Carl and Mark, all of Evansville, and Rogar of Champaign, Ill.; and three grandchildren, TreViana Walder, Tyvan Landours and E’devon Dixon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Line Street Church of Christ, the Rev. J. Lee officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mary Helen (McDaniel) Price, 76, of Evansville, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at her home.
She retired in 1987 from Sears Roebuck Co., after more than 30 years in the credit department.
She was a member and past queen of the Daughters of the Nile, Iris Temple 41.
Surviving are a son, D. Keith of Norcross, Ga.; two sisters, Ruth Purviance of Chrisney, Ind. and Lela Gore of Littleton, Colo.; a brother, Paul McDaniel of Boonville, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Lester, died in 1988.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Ted Tempel officiating, with burial in Midway Cemetery in Spencer County.

Harold Keith Harmon, 83, of Evansville, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital.
He retired as traffic manager from A&H Truck Lines and was a member of the Evansville Traffic Club.
He was a member and lay minister of the Folsomville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen Sue Hopkins of Cottonwood, Ariz., Martyene K. Nicholson of Ninevah, Ind., and Marlyene R. POSEYVILLE, Ind. — Bessie I. Powers, 95, formerly of Poseyville, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
She had been a clerk at Hirsch’s Department Store in dry goods for more than 30 years.
She was a lifetime member of the Black River Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Carroll of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Roy, and two sons, Robert and Lowell, preceded her in death.

Her husband, Marvin, died in 1989.
