PRINCETON, Ky. — Floyd Dunbar, 90, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Bethlehem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Floyd Thomas and Charles David, both of Caldwell County; four grandchildren, Paul and Charles Ray Dunbar, Donna Goodchild and Laura Brandon; and seven great-grandchildren.
His wife, Stella Mae (Dillingham), died in 1995.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Sanford White
ONTON, Ky. — Sanford “Sandy” White, 62, formerly of Onton, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, in Valencia, Calif., of a heart attack.
He worked in construction and volunteered at the Pioneer Boy’s Ranch in Newhall, Calif.
Surviving are his wife, Anna (Scott); two daughters, Brenda Ripa of California and Charlotte Brown of Texas; three sons, Michael White of California and Ricky and Joey Downs, both of Kentucky; a sister, Thelma Kutcher of Northridge; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree-Poole Chapel, with burial in Onton Cemetery in Onton.

Horace Howard
ISLAND, Ky. — Horace E. Howard, 82, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
He worked as an independent logger.
He enjoyed farming and hunting.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Virginia (Evitts); a daughter, Sue Ferguson of Rumsey; a son, Thomas H. of Slaughters; two sisters, Dorothy Thornberry of Dyer, Ind., and Gladus Murphy of Tell City, Ind.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randel, in 1996.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Muster Funeral Home Calhoun Chapel, with burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Tom McKeighen
FLAT ROCK, Ill. — Tom McKeighen, 66, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Mission, Texas, where he resided during the winter months.
He worked as a carpenter in the construction business.
He was a member of Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church and Carpenters Local 546 of Vincennes, Ind.
Surviving are his wife, Zelma (Heath); a daughter, Debby Hayden of Robinson; three sons, Thomas Michael, James Mark and David Paul, all of Robinson; a brother, John of Robinson; and four grandchildren, Michelle, Susanne and Amy Hayden and Tommy McKeighen.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Goodwine Funeral Home Robinson Chapel, with burial in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.

Joseph Walter
MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. — Joseph E. Walter, 77, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Lawrenceville Manor Nursing Home.
He was a retired physical therapist.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of St. Mary’s Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Lou Ritchel of Evansville; a brother, Donald E. of Mount Carmel; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at a later date.
Short Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Ray Burge
ALBION, Ill. — Ray Burge, 90, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Olney Care Center.
Surviving are a sister, Faye Nickles of Durant, Okla.; a brother, Joe of Healdton, Okla.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and his companion, Bertha Waterman of Olney.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nale’s Funeral Home Albion Chapel, with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Milton Vaughan
FAIRFIELD, Ill. — Milton “Lee” Vaughan, 63, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at his home of cancer.
He worked for Airtex.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Debra Vaughan of Illinois;a stepdaughter, Barbara McCormick of Tennessee; two sons, Vernon and George, both of Illinois; two sisters, Geneva Klaffer of Cisne and Mary Phillips of Braceville; five brothers, Pleasant of Mill Shoals, Donald, Tom and Fred, all of Fairfield, and Joe of Manhattan; and grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Koontz Cemetery, near Fairfield.
Nale’s Funeral Home Fairfield Chapel is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Home Health or to Hospice.

Douglas Kincaid
PALESTINE, Ill. — Douglas G. Kincaid, 66, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson of heart complications. He was a retired farmer and had worked with his late father, Garvin, for the Kincaid Implement Co., and had owned and operated the Kincaid R.C. Hobbies Co. in Palestine.
He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Robinson and the Terre Haute Remote Control Club.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Janice (York); two daughters, Kim Enlow of Longmont, Colo., and Keli Ashley of Olathe, Kan.; his stepmother, Margaret Kincaid of Palestine; three stepbrothers, Chester Greene of Palestine, Robert Greene of Vincennes, Ind., and Gary Greene of Phoenix; and five grandchildren, Dustin and Lacey Grove and Myka, Adrea and Elias Ashley.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Goodwine Funeral Home Palestine Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Palestine Academic Foundation or to the Robinwood Assembly of God Church.

Roy Bowles
Roy O. Bowles, 83, of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital.
He was a World War II Army veteran, having served in the 320 Bomber Division.
He retired in 1977 from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years of service as a letter carrier.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ Downtown, Masonic Lodge 64, Scottish Rite, Hadi Temple, Past Watchman of Shepherd Bethlehem Shrine 2, Past Royal Parton Elinor Markel Memorial Court 14 Amaranth, Eastern Star 555 and AARP Chapter 1956.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Emma; a sister Edna Flicker of Dale, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. James Coons-Torn officiating, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Ind.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a masonic service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Carroll Roberts
Carroll “Sonny” Roberts, 62, formerly of Evansville, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at the home of his mother in Hurst, Texas, of lung cancer and heart failure.
He retired from Great South Construction Co. of Alabama.
Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Jackie of Evansville; three stepdaughters, Rhonda Milligan and Kara Griffin, both of Evansville, and Lisa Smith of Newburgh; a stepson, Kevin Fleming of Evansville; and six grandchildren, Rikki Milligan, Skylar Griffin and Jessica, Hannah, Jordan and Cody Smith.
Funeral services were held at Benbrook Funeral Home in Benbrook, Texas. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Vann Ave. Baptist Church, the Rev. Robert Nall officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Anna Stolz
Anna Marie Stolz, 43, of Evansville, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at her home of cancer. She worked at General Electric for more than 11 years and had previously worked at Zenith Corp. for 13 years.
She was a member of St. Wendel Catholic Church, the G.E. Emergency Search and Rescue Team, Hazardous Materials, Parent Teacher Organization of St. Wendel and was a former member of CB Radio Alert 551. She was also an honorary EMT.
Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Paul D.; two sons, Dustin and P.D. Jr., both of Evansville; her parents, Anthony “Andy” and Anna K. Mayer of Fort Branch, Ind.; and three sisters, Brenda Halter of Vincennes, Ind., and Virlee Mayer and Jo Denise Michel, both of Fort Branch.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. St. Wendel Catholic Church, the Rev. David Nunning officiating, with burial in St. Wendel Church Cemetery in Evansville.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary at 6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Dorothy Tuley
Dorothy Mae Tuley, 84, formerly of Evansville, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Tacoma, Wash., of an aortic aneurism.
She had worked for Mead Johnson, Sears Roebuck and Co. and A&H Truck Lines.
Surviving are a son, Steve of University Place, Wash.; a grandson, Sean Tuley; nieces; and her caregivers, Hilde Mason and Paula Anderson.
Her husband, Frank, died in 1987.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mary Barr
Mary Louise Barr, 74, of Evansville, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Woodlands Convalescent Center of respiratory failure.
She worked as a crossing guard at Dexter School.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Arthur James; two daughters, Amealia Oxley of Denver and Andrea Wiley of Evansville; and six grandchildren, Thomas C., Mary C. and Donald Lewis Oxley, Ashlee Danielle Barr and Reagan D. Marie and Devon Robert Wiley.
There will be no visitation or services at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel. The body will be donated to science.

Dixie Brammer-Wolf
Dixie Jo Brammer-Wolf, 45, of Evansville, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of cancer.
She was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church in St. John, the American Business Womens Association and was president of the Greenbriar Co-Op.
Surviving are her husband of two years, Henry Wolf; a daughter, Deidre Askins of Rockport, Ind.; a son, Tyler Joseph Brammer-Wolf at home; her mother and stepfather, Melba and Willard Young of Evansville; two sisters, Janet Brammer and Lisa Young, both of Evansville; a brother, Lloyd Brammer of Mount Vernon, Ind.; her grandmother, Virdie Brammer; and two grandchildren, Haley and Cody Askins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel in Chandler, Ind. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon to service time at the funeral home.

Thelma Wright
Thelma L. Wright, 74, formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at her home in Boonville, Ind., of respiratory failure.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Presbyterian Women.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda D. Wright of Boonville, and Carol M. Austill of Chandler, Ind.; a son, Keith A. of Evansville; a sister, Doris A. Coon of New Harmony, Ind.; a brother, Charles Coon of Vincennes, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Amy Adams, David Jr., Joseph Thomas, Amber and Keisha Wright, Dustin, Bradley and Adam Brown, Cara Moats and Lucas Austill; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar R., in 1995, and by a son, David, in 1996.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, the Rev. William Rasch officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time at the chapel.

Helen Smith
Helen Virginia Smith, 80, of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Holiday Care Center of congestive heart failure.
She retired from Ayr-Way Department Store.
She attended Bethel Temple and was a member of the Mended Heart Association.
Surviving are two daughters, Gwendolyn Smith and Wanda Powell, both of Evansville; five sons, James E. “Sonny”, Donald F., Darrel L., Connie “Lee” and Ronnie D., all of Evansville; two sisters, Alice Rhoades of Chandler, Ind., and Irene Perry of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward M. Jr., in 1935.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Stephen Schwambach officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

William Hartman
William “Bill” Hartman, 65, of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at the home of his sister in Owensboro, Ky., of cancer.
He was an Air Force veteran, having served for 15 years. He also worked at Whirlpool and Germania Maennerchor.
He attended St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a member of AM Vets Post 1 in Evansville.
Surviving are four sisters, Frances Alvey and Martha Kramer, both of Owensboro, Mary Gabel of Evansville and Barbara Hanes of Henderson, Ky.; two brothers, Ted of Pewaukee, Wis., and Tom of Tucson, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, the St. Anthony pastoral team officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a memorial service at 5:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

Eugene Brown
Eugene Ray Brown, 70, formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at his home in Houston of cancer.
He was an Air Force veteran.
He had been a sheet metal worker and a bricklayer.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Jean (Winternheimer); three daughters, Gayle Ann Farris of Atlanta and Cindy Lucky and Lisa Faye Wallace, both of Houston; four sons, Steven E., Ronald C. and Michael R., all of Houston, and Robert D. of Hancock, Md.; a sister, Louetta Coon of Lynnville, Ind.; two brothers, Ronald Lee of Houston and Charles C. of Evansville; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in Houston, with burial in Houston National Cemetery.

Germaine Bittner
HAUBSTADT, Ind. — Germaine H. Bittner, 70, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of a stroke.
He was a farmer.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Irma; two daughters, Linda Elpers of St. Joseph and Susan Nurrenbern of Mount Vernon; four sons, Mike, Charlie and Tom, all of Haubstadt, and Steven of Fort Branch; two sisters, Margie Seib of Haubstadt and Dorothy Stratman of Evansville; four brothers, Neil and Leo, both of Haubstadt, and Anthony and John, both of Evansville; and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Beasley Anderson III
BOONVILLE, Ind. — Beasley Anderson III, 47, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of heart failure.
He retired from Peabody Coal Co. as a heavy crane operator.
He was a member of the Local United Mine Workers of America.
Surviving are four sons, Nathan Scott, Justin Coy, Clinton Matthew and Stephen Cory Michael, all of Newburgh; a sister, Rebecca Anderson-Busching of Sandia Park, N.M.; two brothers, Charles of Franklin, Tenn., and Philip of Lima, Peru; his grandmother, Mamie (Kerr) Wells of Senatobia, Miss.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home Newburgh Chapel. Burial is pending.

Victoria Eppich
PRINCETON, Ind. — Victoria H. Eppich, 78, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at her home.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Frank; two daughters, Vicki Eppich of Phoenix and Barbara Engels of Princeton; a son, Gregory of Akron, Ohio; a sister, Mary Trepal of Cleveland; a brother, Laddie Habian of Cleveland; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at a later date.

Otto Linette
SIBERIA, Ind. — Otto F. Linette, 82, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper of heart failure.
He retired from Tell City Chair Co. after 30 years of service.
He was a member of St. Meinrad Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are a brother, Walter “Bud” of Huron, S.D.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Martins Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mabel Waddell
ROCKPORT, Ind. — Mabel Waddell, 91, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Wellington Parc of Owensboro in Owensboro, Ky.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Marianne Stateler of Owensboro; two sons, Ronnie of Forest, Va., and Roy of Danville; two brothers, Shirley Tharp of San Jose, Calif., and Sheldon Tharp of Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Boultinghouse Funeral Home.

Vivian Pressley
HENDERSON, Ky. — Vivian A. Pressley, 66, formerly of Henderson, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at her home in Owensboro under hospice care.
Surviving are six daughters, Tina Marsh of Fort Bragg, N.C., Margie Sutton and Janet Marie Pressley, both of Owensboro, Thelma Ann Polley of Peoria, Ill., Judith Lynn Riser of Milwaukee, and Charlotte Ann Danby of Lawton, Okla.; six sons, James D. Allen and Richard Pressley, both of Owensboro, Dwayne Pressley of Tooele, Utah, Thomas Pressley of Henderson, and Roy James and David Pressley, both of West Valley, Utah; two sisters, Betty Magera of Kearns, Utah, and Madge Wolf of Magna, Utah; five brothers, Johnny and Herman Drain, both of West Valley, Bill Drain of Magna and Sherman and Lynn Drain, both of Kearns; 27 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C., in 1982, and by a daughter, Ernestine Allen, in 1972.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home, with burial in Fernwood Cemetery, both in Henderson.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Surviving are her mother, Barbara Gail (Burden) Cates of Madisonville; a brother, Leroy Cates Jr. of Madisonville; her grandmother, Wilda Fireline of Bristol, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Zion Brick Church Cemetery near Slaughters.
