OWENSVILLE, Ind. — Delbert Jefferson Neaveill, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
He had been a farmhand and was a member of the Bethsaida Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred (Lang); a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dunkle of Mount Carmel, Ill.; two sons, Charles Lee of Owensville and Wayne of West Salem, Ill.; a sister, Laverna Fern Schultz of La Habra Heights, Calif.; a brother, Darrell of Pacific, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Mary Louise (Brandenstein), died in 1979.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Werry Funeral Home Poseyville Chapel, with burial in Bethsaida Cemetery in Stewartsville.

He had been a projectionist at the
Rex Theater and retired after 27 years with the Southern Indiana Gas & Electric Co.

TELL CITY, Ind. — Martin F. Wood, 78, of Sulphur, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital of cancer.
He retired in 1984 from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, serving in China, constructing airstrips used by the Flying Tigers.
He was a life member of the China, India and Burma Veterans and the Flying Tigers, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the United Auto Workers Local 662.
He was a Hoosier National Forest volunteer from 1986 to 1995 and was a campground host at Celina Lake.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Jeannene; a daughter, Julie Wood of Sulphur; four sons, Franklin R. of Vevay, Danny L. of Thompson Station, Tenn., Ronald G. of Indianapolis and James N. of Anderson; a brother, Albert G. of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Crystal Beatty, Nicole, Jessica, Carly, Lacey and Rachael Wood and Melisa Cottrell; and five great-grandchildren.

TELL CITY, Ind. — Lawrence E. Mann, 72, died of cancer Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at the home of his brother, Don Mann in Tell City.
He retired in 1989 from Bridgeport Brass Co. in Indianapolis, after 23 years as a millwright. He was a World War II Army veteran and member of the American Legion Post 230 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939.
Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Clark of Uniontown, Ky., and Geraldine Sumpter of Mountain Grove, Mo. He was preceded in death by two wives, Eliza Katie and Ruth.

Joseph L. “Joe” Schultheis, 76, of Evansville, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at St. Mary’s Health Care Services/Welborn Campus from a stroke.
He was the owner and operator of Schultheis Drug Store for more than 47 years.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a graduate of Butler University and member of the Indiana Pharmaceutical Association and St. Vincent DePaul. He enjoyed gardening.
