Pauline Ralph
Pauline T. Ralph, 88, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Ky.
She was Catholic and enjoyed farming with her husband.
Surviving are a sister, Bessie Thompson of Henderson; a grandson, Robert William Ralph; two great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, George William, died in 1990 and a son, William Taylor Ralph, died in 1975.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home in Owensboro, Ky. ,with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.

Charles Frederick
Charles R. Frederick, 75, of Evansville, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 1987 and spent 20 years at Inland Marina running the boat dock.
He was a World War II veteran and he served in the Assault Force “U” on Normandy Beach. His unit was awarded the French Cross of War.
He was a volunteer for the Salvation Army.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; two daughters, Angela Hopper of Henderson and Crystal Frederick of Evansville; two stepdaughters, Charla Taylor and Cindy Orange, both of Evansville; three sons, Mike of Indianapolis, Mark of Hatfield, Cayce of Newburgh; two stepsons, Harold and Rance Evans of Newburgh; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel. There will be no visitation the body will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
Leona Glover
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. — Leona M. (Gerton) Glover, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of cancer.
She had been the office manager for Hasting Equipment Co. for 42 years, for 10 years worked for Fuelling Concrete and two years at Evansville Concrete Co.
She was an organist, treasurer and Sunday school teacher at the Mount Vernon First Christian Church and was past president of the Christian Women’s Service.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Charles I.; three sisters, Ruth Bottomley, Margaret Stephan and Mary Ellen Hundley, all of Mount Vernon.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m,. Saturday at the Mount Vernon First Christian Church, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville.

James Dimmett
BOONVILLE, Ind. — James A. Dimmett, 67, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville from complications of emphysema.
He retired in 1922 from the Lynnville Mine and was a member of the United Mine Workers.
He was a member of the Main Street General Baptist Church, American Legion Post 200 of Boonville, Pioneer Sunday School class and coached The Dimmett Dandy’s women’s softball team for 10 years.
Surviving are his wife of three years, Anna; two daughters, Lana Jo VanWinkle and Lori Lynn Noffsinger, both of Lynnville; two stepdaughters, Bobbi Ann Myers and Rhonda Lynn Oberding, both of Rockport; four sons, Chris Aaron and Clint Lee, both of Lynnville, Daniel Ray of Vincennes and James Aaron Jr. of Boonville; a stepson, John Nathan Ray of Tell City; two sisters, Thelma Beard of Lynnville and Lucielle Zint of Dale; a brother, Ray of Lynnville; seven grandchildren, Stacey Draper, Brittney and Leah VanWinkle, Ben and Trevor Noffsinger and Kristen and Jessi Dimmett; and a great-grandchild.

JASPER, Ind. — Naomi R. Schwenk, 77, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Jasper Memorial Hospital of heart failure.
She had been a cook for several local restaurants.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Original Home Economics Club.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph I.; seven daughters, Patricia Brown of Noblesville, Janet Vaal of St. Meinrad, Mary Luebbehusen of Ferdinand, Sheila Rudolph of Lafayette, Audrey Fisher of Bloomington, Ill. Monica Hicks of Peru, Ind., and Yvette Schwenk of Beebe, Ark.; three sons, Tim McNelis and Joseph G. Schwenk, both of Jasper and Philip Schwenk of Santa Claus; a sister, Florence Schnell of Celestine; 24 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her first husband, Bernard B. McNelis, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Precious Blood Catholic Church, with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.

Troy Rose
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. — Troy Bee Rose, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at the hom of a daughter, Nina Hale of Mount Vernon of cardiac arrest.
She worked for the Mount Vernon Metropolitan School District for 10 years.
She was a 50-year member of the First Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star.
Also surviving are a daughter, Janet Kay Alldredge of Mount Vernon; a son, John P. of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Thelma Hopkins and Peggy Anders, both of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren, Lisa Ann Rose, Jody Kay Bergner, Rocky Joe Stewart and Troy Paul Hale.
Her husband, Orval Paul, died in 1971.

ADYEVILLE, Ind. — Theresa “Terry” Aders, 40, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at her home. Perry County coroner attributed death to natural causes.
She was a head fuel desk attendant for the 231 Truck Stop in Dale.

She was a member of the Friendship General Baptist Church in Oakland City.
Surviving are two sisters, Gold Dillon of Wheeling, Ind., and Lavada Borders of Francisco; a brother, Frank Watkins of Wheeling; a granddaughter, Pamela Wilson of Noblesville; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Pearson and a son, Samuel Pearson.

CALHOUN, Ky. — Yvonne (Maxwell) Craig, 49, of Irvington, Ala., formerly of Calhoun, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at the Knollwood Park Hospital in Mobile, Ala., of a heart attack.
She was a member of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
She enjoyed crocheting, needlework and gardening.

She had been plant foreman for the Cairo Laundry and Dry Cleaners from 1919 to 1969.
She was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church and a 50-year member Eastern Star.
Surviving are two brothers; three grandchildren, Dr. Michael, Douglas and Lisa Fromm; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, and a son, Frederick N.

ELDORADO, Ill. — Glenn Wright, 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital.
He was a clock maker and a mechanic for John Deere.
He was a member of Gurney Masonic Lodge 778 and the Mount Zion Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn Omohundro and Margaret Hall, both of Eldorado, and Katherine Wright of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, James of Eldorado; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Violet Fox, preceded him in death.

She retired from Gencorp Polymer Products in 1994 after 15 years.
She was a member of the Women in Construction Bowling Team.

Ronald James Mueller, 86, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Good Samaritan Home.
He worked in the maintenance department at Mead Johnson for 16 years and owned and operated an excavating business for 45 years.
He developed two neighborhoods, Marlene Drive in Vanderburgh County and Mueller Manner in St. Philip, Ind.
He was a 1933 graduate of Reitz High School, where he was captain of the undefeated state champion football.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine and a 50-year Mason. He was one of the original members of the Hadi Shrine White Horse Patrol and White Shrine of Jerusalem 2. He was a member of the West Side Nut Club, R Men’s Club of Reitz High School, Elks, Eagles and Kennel Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Marlene LaRue of Noblesville, Ind.; two grandchildren, Amy and Jim D. LaRue; and nieces and nephews.
His wife of 62 years, Ruby Fern (Spencer), preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, the Rev. Louis H. Dorsch officiating, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum.
