Funeral services will be held Monday, October 25, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Rev. Fr. Fred Walters of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Schweighardt, Andrew F. age 83 on Saturday, October 30, 2004. Born in Passaic, he was a resident of Pompton Lakes for 51 years. A retired electrician, he was employed by Kearfott of Little Falls for 25 years. Mr. Schweighardt was a member of St. Mary’s Seniors and served in World War II in the Army and was member of VFW Post 2906 of Pompton Lakes. He is survived by his wife, the former Ermelinda (Collodel) Schweighardt, 2 sons, Andrew of Washington Township and David of Pompton Lakes, one daughter, Linda Stern of Pompton Lakes, one brother Martin of Albuquerque, NM. Two grandchildren also survive. Mr. Schweighardt was the son of Frank and Hermina (Schweighardt) Schweighardt. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 1, 2004 at 8:30 PM at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Cremation private. Friends may call on Monday, November 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 PM.
Sadd, Margaret Theresa (Snee), age 93, of West Milford died Thursday November 25, 2004 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital in Wayne, N.J. Born in Ireland, she came to the United States in 1926. She resided in West Milford for the past 51 years and was previously from New York City. She was a homemaker, and a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Migdalski of Fairview, N.J; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary (Garvey) Snee, and her husband Elmer Oliver Sadd in 1993. A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 11:15 A.M. at Our Lady Queen Of Peace Church in Hewitt. Interment
will follow at Warwick Cemetery in Warwick, NY. Friends and relatives may visit on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Rd. West Milford.
Helen Smith (Howard), 74, a practical nurse died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at St. Josephs Wayne Hospital. Mrs. Smith lived in Paterson, New Jersey. She is survived by her husband Paul, Jackie Smith (Daughter-in-law), Gertrude DeGraw (Niece). She was born March 12, 1930 in Greenville, South Carolina the daughter of Troy and Bertha Howard. Smith, Edward P., a retired plumber for Marshall Plumbing, Springfield, died Sunday, December 05, 2004 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock, NJ. Mr. Smith lived in West Milford, NJ since 2004 and was previously from New Providence, NJ and Seminole, FL. He was a WWII Navy Veteran (1942-46) having attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a former member of the Springfield Fire Dept. of Springfield, NJ. He is survived by his wife Louise R. (Mielke) of Bloomingdale, a son Ronald Smith of Avon Lake, OH and 2 daughters: Judith Preisendanz of West Milford and Ruth Hranj of Marlboro, NJ and 2 grandchildren. Marion Slavick, 86, a homemaker, died Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Bloomingdale Health Care Center in Bloomingdale, New Jersey. Mrs. Slavick lived in Bloomingdale, New Jersey since 1958 and was previously from Pompton Lakes. She is survived by Marianna Solo (Daughter) of Bloomingdale, NJ, Betty Ballard (Sister), Helen Cassidy (Sister), Marie Houghetalling (Sister), Timmy Solo (Grandson) and his wife, Linda of Bloomingdale, NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband William, (1993). She was born April 29, 1918 in Riverdale, New Jersey the daughter of Harry and Martha (Outer) De Graw. Private funeral services where held Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Richards Funeral Home. Rev. Marjorie Erikson of Bloomingdale Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in North Church Cemetery in North Hardyston.
