Corbett, Oliver F., age 80, a retired manager for American Aluminum Casting Co., Irvington, NJ, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Oakland Care Center in Oakland, NJ. He was a member of the Pompton Reformed Church, and the VFW Post 2906, Pompton Lakes, NJ. Mr. Corbett was a resident of Pompton Lakes since 1952. He is survived by two sons, Dennis of Wayne, NJ and Michael of Vernon, NJ; two daughters, Doreen Smith and Lynn O'Brien both of Wayne, NJ; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn (Hanson) Corbett (2006). He was the son of Oliver and Natalia (Evans) Corbett. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War attaining the rank of 2nd class Gunners Mate. Gilone, David, age 85, a retired weighmaster for Sam Braen, North Haledon where he worked for 35 years, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Wayne View Care Center, Wayne, NJ. Mr. Gilone was a member of Riverdale & Butler Seniors and Riverdale/Butler VFW Post. He lived in Riverdale for 60 years and was previously from North Haledon. Surviving are two sons David P. Gilone, Jr. of Tampa, FL and Danny Gilone of Franklin, NJ, a daughter Donna McGovern of North Haledon, NJ, two sisters Frieda Wolfe of Culvers Lake, NJ and Gloria Walker of North Haledon, NJ, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa (1992). He was the son of the late Henry and Celesta (Bilotti) Gilone. He served in the Army during World War II having attained the rank of PFC enlisted on September 22, 1942 at Newark, NJ discharged on November 2, 1945 at Ft Dix, NJ. Visiting will be at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale on Sunday (4/1) from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, April 2, 2007 at 10:30 AM. at St. Mary’s Church, Pompton Lakes. Fr Kevin will be officiating. Interment

Gilroy, Joseph B., age 83, a contract officer for New York University, NYC, NY, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. Mr. Gilroy served in the US Marine Corps during WW II. Mr. Gilroy lived in West Milford, NJ and wintered in Sunrise, FL. He is survived by his wife Doris Lee (Zuccaro). He was the son of Joseph and Gilda Gilroy. Visiting at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Friday (3/2) from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Interment
will be in the St Joseph's Cemetery in West Milford.
