Died: 10 - 07 - 2007 Billy Jack Bradshaw Sr., age 61, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was a Vietnam veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, George Bradshaw, and brother, Bobby Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife, Jannie Phillips Bradshaw, of Newport; children, Billy Jack Bradshaw Jr., Angela Danielle Bradshaw, of Newport; mother, Etta Bradshaw; sisters, Mary Etta Hartsell and Agnes Cameron; brother and sister-in-law, Joey and Amy Bradshaw, all of Newport; two grandchildren, Donovan Henrickson and Daniel Sane, both of Newport. Irene Ada Smith Talley Young
Died: 10 - 07 - 2007 Irene Ada Smith Talley Young, 79, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord after a lingering illness on Sunday, October 7, 2007. She was a member of Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church for 42 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Talley; husband, George Young; sister, Charlsie Mae Fox; and parents, John William and Nannie Bea Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Lynn Talley Krawiec and husband, Joe; special granddaughter, Lori Ann Krawiec Parker and husband, Stacy; special great - grandson, Trevor Chase Owen; sister, Polly Fox, of Morristown; brothers, Johnny Smith and Harold Smith, of Bybee, and Winfred Smith and Alfred Smith, of Morristown; step - children, Bill Young, of Bybee; Roy Young, of Mooresburg; Joe Young, of St. Clair; Gladys Hickey and Margaret Dickerson, of Morristown; several step - grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews. Died: 10 - 06 - 2007 Robert E. “Bob” Inman, age 54 of Newport went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, loving father, loyal son and a generous friend to everyone he met. He was a member of Northport Baptist Church and was employed as a driver for Funtime Trolley in Sevier County and Rocky Top Tours. He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Jo Inman; daughters, Deanna and Shea Inman; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Karen Inman; sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Gary Kolar; niece and nephew; Mandy and Will Chagnon; nieces, Cierra Inman, Kenzie Inman, Kari Ann Moore; great nephews, Cole and Ryan Chagnon; special friends, Sharon and Russell Ottinger, Tim and Bobbie Foster and many close relatives and friends. Mary Alice Evans Lane
Died: 10 - 06 - 2007 WHITE PINE––Mary Alice Evans Lane, age 81, of White Pine, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family and friends at her home on Saturday, October 6, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church in White Pine. She is the wife of Herbert Lane, who has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Barnett and Dorothy Rogers. Mary Alice Lane is survived by her children, Mary Jean Hannah and husband David, Donald Lane and wife Helen, and Dwight Lane and wife Linda; grandchildren, Steve Hannah, Angie Johnson, Paul Hannah, Greg Lane, Jeff Lane, Jon Lane, Teresa Kegley, Kevin Potts, and Jennifer Lane; 13 great - grandchildren and three great - grandchildren; brothers, Henry Evans and Charles Evans; sisters, Victoria Carter, Elizabeth Bible, Pearl Hodge, and Lorene Gregg; also several nieces and nephews, special friends, and caregivers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great - grandmother, and dear friend. She was a devoted and loyal member of Antioch United Methodist Church since age 11. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Minnie (Ellison) Green. Teresa Lovell Greenway
Died: 12 - 06 - 2007 Teresa “Wesa” Lovell Greenway, age 52 of Plain View Heights, Greeneville, passed away on December 6, 2007. She was a teacher at Mountain View in Dandridge, former teacher at Doak Elementary School in Greeneville, and the Edgemont Elementary School in Newport. She will be remembered for the love of her sons, the children in her classes and her family. One of her greatest pleasures was recalling the antics of her students, whom she dearly loved. She will be greatly missed at the Greeneville High School football games, where she would give a victory sign and ring the cow bell at each touchdown. Her cheer was unique and could be easily picked out of the crowd. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of a beautiful sunset, a day in the mountains, and spending time with her friends. Mrs. Greenway was preceded in death by her son, Chase Greenway; parents, Billie Paul and Katherine Lovell of Newport; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Lovell and Mr. and Mrs. Probe Clevenger of Newport. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Greenway; son, Jordan Greenway both of Greeneville; sister, Connie Lynn Raines of Greeneville; brother, Craig Lovell and wife Jackie of Newport; nephews, Dereck and Todd Raines of Newport, Rodney Greenway and wife Becky of Johnson City; nieces, Susan Greenway of Greenville, South Carolina, Marcia Greenway of Knoxville, Leslie Cox of Greeneville, and numerous other family members. Special friends, Gale Brobeck, Edwina Anderson, Cathy Cooley and her fellow workers. Ernestine “Tina” Whaley, age 36 of Kodak, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Oh, how the heavens must have rejoiced when she walked through those pearly gates. She was a blessing to everyone who met her. She will be sadly missed by all. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Catlett and half - brother Alvin Catlett, grandparents Luther and Hattie Catlett and Creed and Stella Sutton, uncles Reece Sutton and Casey Thomas, and cousin Troy Romines. Survivors include her husband, Kenny L. Whaley; mother, Hazel Sutton; father and mother-in-law, Kenny and Bernice Whaley; grandmother-in-law, Ruby Whaley; numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; special cousins who called her “Momma Tina”, Mary Beth Romines and Hannah Large and a host of friends. Funeral service 7 p.m. Saturday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Sutton, Rev. Clay Sutton, and Rev. Lowell Wilson officiating. Jeff Styles
Died: 12 - 05 - 2007 Jeff Styles, age 28 a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday morning at the family residence. His mother, Helen Gibson Styles preceded him in death. Jeff worked in maintenance with the Concord Apartments and he was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Tennga, Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Styles of Cleveland; his daughters, Rebecca and Destiny Styles; his sons, Cody and Hunter Styles all of Cleveland; his father, Ernest Styles of Newport, Tennessee; his sisters, Peggy Perez and Michelle Hernandez both of Newport and his brothers, Jerry, Allen, Gary and Charles Styles all of Newport, Tennessee. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1 from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tennga, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.

Lenora T. Allen
Died: 12 - 04 - 2007 Lenora T. Allen, 95, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville. She was the oldest member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen; daughter, Fern Allen; great - grandchild, Bryan Allen Hartsell; eight sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Eva Lena Allen, of Newport; grandchildren, Jeff Allen, Janet and Terry Hartsell, all of Newport; great - granddaughter, Terra Hartsell, who was the sunshine of her life; and several nieces and nephews. James Baxter Large, 80, of Cosby, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Newport Health & Rehabilitation Center in Newport. He was of Baptist faith. He was retired from the Postal Service as mail carrier in the Cosby area, was a veteran of WWII, also built and managed the L Ranch Motel and operated the Large Excavating and Rocky Flats Sawmill. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Williams Large, of Cosby; son and daughter-in-law, James W. and Sandy Large, of Cosby; sister, Lela Ivy, of White Pine; brother, Bill Large, of California; grandchildren, Jessica Large, of Pittman Center, Jordan Large, Megan Large, Tristan Proffitt, Brad Williams, all of Cosby; special granddaughter, Shanna Brady, and special grandson, Jordon Mountcastle; several nieces, nephews and special cousin, Conard Shultz.
