Lantagne - Hayes

Kara R. Lantagne of Lyndonville and Justin J. Hayes of Barnet were united in marriage Sept. 6, 2003, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Newport.
The 1 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Leo Bilodeau. An arrangement of cream colored roses with accents of purple and raspberry flowers decorated the altar as well as two matching floor arrangements. Music included an organ processional of "Canon in D," played by organist Marie Bonneau, and a recessional of "Trumpet Voluntary." Soloist Alena Hayes was accompanied by the piano.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless, flare gown with a chapel-length train. The body of the gown was tulle with an all-over beaded alen?on lace, and satin bands accented the neckline and hem. She carried a bouquet of cream colored roses with accents of purple and raspberry flowers.
Krista Poquette, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Hayes, sister of the groom; Alycia Lantagne, cousin of the bride; and Julie Butson, friend of the bride. Taylor Littell, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
Attendants wore spaghetti-strap, satin A-line gowns with embroidery and beading on the bodices in cornflower blue. Each held three long-stemmed, cream-colored roses with purple accent flowers.
Michael Travis, friend of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Gus Phanstiel, friend of the groom; Mark Lantagne, brother of the bride; and Derek Poquette, brother-in-law of the bride.
The reception was held at The Lodge at Jay. The four-tiered wedding cake included chocolate, vanilla and strawberry layers. The white frosting was adorned with cream-colored designs, fresh cream-colored roses and accents of purple and raspberry accent flowers.
Following a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple reside in Jericho, Vt.
The bride is the daughter of Craig and Kathy Lantagne of Lyndonville. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Vermont and is employed by ABX Title in Essex Junction.
The groom is the son of Patrick Hayes of Barnet and Diane Evans of Peacham. He is also a graduate of the University of Vermont and is employed by Hospitality Well Done! Inc., in Shelburne.
Proctor - Roberts

Bobbie Jo Proctor and Jeffrey A. Roberts were united in marriage May 4, 2002, at the Groton Methodist Church.
The Rev. Barbara Dwyer officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Escorted by her stepfather, the bride wore a long-sleeved, white angel satin gown with lace. The bride's bouquet was a clutch of white sweetheart roses.
Rhonda Proctor, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Loretta Irwin, friend of the couple, was the bridesmaid, and Maranda White, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Dixie Bogie, a friend of the bride, made the short-sleeved pastel satin gown worn by the maid of honor and the short-sleeved royal blue satin gown worn by the bridesmaid. The flower girl wore a white dress adorned with pearls. The maid of honor and bridesmaid carried bouquets of carnations, and the flower girl carried a basket of dried rose petals.
Shawn Irwin, friend of the couple, served as best man. Dwayne Glaude, friend of the couple, served as usher. Jeffrey Joel Roberts, son of the couple, was the ring bearer. He carried a ring pillow adorned with white, pastel blue and royal blue lace. The groom and the ring bearer wore white rose boutonnieres. The best man and the usher wore white carnation boutonnieres.
A reception followed at the Groton Community Building, with music provided by disc jockey Willie Applebee, friend of the bride. The four-tiered, heart-shaped cake was decorated with white roses and topped with a Precious Moments bride and groom. Richard Fraser, friend of the bride, made the wedding cake.
Following a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania, the couple reside in St. Johnsbury.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon Proctor and Elwyn Colbeth of Groton, and Kevin Proctor of Bradford. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Partington of West Topsham, and the late Milton R. Partington and Florence J. Proctor. She is a 1995 graduate of Blue Mountain Union School and is a stay-at-home mother.
The groom is the son of Pam Roberts of Wells River and Roger Roberts of St. Johnsbury. He is the grandson of Jean McKinstry of St. Johnsbury and the late John McKinstry, and Joel Roberts. He is a 1992 graduate of Blue Mountain Union School and is self-employed.
Prue - Causey

Cari Lynn Prue of Manassas, Va., and Andrew Causey of Woodbridge, Va., were united in marriage June 28, 2003, at The Rocks Estate in Bethlehem, N.H.
The double-ring, outdoor ceremony was performed under an arbor in the estate gardens by the couple's youth pastor, the Rev. Michael Drennon. Music for the ceremony was performed by Michelle Nolton and Chad Moris, friends of the couple.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless white satin gown featuring a fitted bodice with scooped neckline and a full skirt falling into a chapel-length train. The gown was adorned with seed pearls and Venetian lace. She wore a wreath of silk flowers in her hair, and carried an arm bouquet of Gerber daisies, sunflowers, daisy poms and baby's breath.
Christine McNicoles, a friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Waites, Becky Taylor and Rebecca Nagle, all friends of the bride. The attendants wore full-length, plum-colored sleeveless gowns and carried arm bouquets of Gerber daisies, daisy poms, sunflowers and baby's breath.
The bride was assisted with her dress by the pastor's daughter, Bailey Drennon.
Jeremy Causey served his brother as best man. Groomsmen included Michael McGee and Michael Eddy, both friends of the couple, and Darrell Causey, uncle of the groom. The men wore black tuxedos with plum-colored vests, and boutonnieres of Gerber daisies and baby's breath.
Kenneth Dwyer of North Danville, grandfather of the bride, gave a reading from the Bible, I Corinthians 13: 4-6, during the ceremony.
The reception also took place at The Rocks. The four-tiered wedding cake, made by Sherry Lufkin, a friend of the couple, was decorated with yellow, white and plum-colored poms and sunflowers.
The bride is the daughter of Karilyn and Peter Nobile of Lunenburg, and Frank Prue of Waterford. She is also the granddaughter of Kenneth Dwyer of North Danville, and the late Aurora Dwyer, and Barbara Prue of Northfield, N.H., formerly of Cabot, and the late Albert Prue. She is a 1997 graduate of White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield, and a 2001 graduate of Gordon College. She is employed as a teacher at Manassas High School.
The groom is the son of Iris and Daniel Causey of Woodbridge. He is a 1993 graduate of Woodbridge High School, and a 2002 graduate of Omega Recording School. He is employed with Sullins in Woodbridge.
Following a wedding trip to Bar Harbor, Maine, and down the coast to Martha's Vineyard, the couple reside in Manassas.
Chaloux - Mosse

Linda Dawn Chaloux, formerly of St. Johnsbury and San Antonio, Texas, and Scott Andrew Mosse of San Antonio, were united in marriage Feb. 9, 2002, at Sedona Ranch Reception Pavilion in San Antonio.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by Dr. Ben Craver, a former professor of the bride's from Wayland Baptist University.
The bride wore a short-sleeve, white satin gown featuring a full semi-cathedral length skirt. A sweetheart neckline accented the bodice, which was adorned with Venetian lace. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses, pink alstroemeria, purple statice and baby's breath.
During the ceremony, verses of scripture and encouraging words were shared by the bride's mother and the groom's father. The grandfather of the groom, Marion Friday, played special arrangements on the violin.
A reception immediately followed the ceremony in the pavilion. The wedding cake was decorated with fresh flowers, and the groom's cake was made by Diane Leininger, a friend of the bride. The reception area was decorated with vases of white gladioli, white roses, alstroemeria, carnations and baby's breath. Corsages of white roses were presented to the mothers and those assisting with the wedding preparations.
The bride is the daughter of Rosie Chaloux and Frank Chaloux, both of St. Johnsbury. She is also the sister of Maria Chaloux of St. Johnsbury and Diana Chaloux of Park City, Utah, and the granddaughter of Kenneth and Aurora Dwyer of North Danville, and Gemma and Gerard Chaloux of St. Johnsbury. She is a 1993 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy; attended Daniel Webster College in Nashua, N.H.; served in the United States Air Force at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, and Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio from 1994 through 1999. She trained as a bioenvironmental engineer during her tour of duty and took various college courses. She attended Wayland Baptist University, graduating in June 2000 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Following active duty, she was employed as a government contractor with Dynamac Corporation. She then became an environmental research analyst with Frost & Sullivan in San Antonio. She is now employed as an environmental protection specialist for Mt. Olympic Park in Port Angeles, Wash.
The groom is the son of Gary and Carolyn Mosse of San Antonio. He is also the brother of Kyle and Beth Mosse of Austin, Texas. He is a 1993 graduate of John Marshall High School. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated in 2000 with a bachelor of arts degree in history. He is first account executive for the automotive group of Frost & Sullivan.
The couple reside is Sequim, Wash.
Garand - Lussier

Emily Louise Garand of Sheffield and Larry Marcel Lussier of St. Johnsbury were united in marriage June 15, 2002.
The 1 p.m. outdoor ceremony was held in a field near a brook on the property of the bride's parents. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Doug Reid of Wheelock. The wooden bridge the wedding party crossed to go into the field was decorated with pastel pink, purple, blue, white and cream flowers. The bride and groom were married under an arbor decorated with roses and daisies that was made by a relative of the groom. Their wedding song was "I Could Not Ask For More" by Sara Evans.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown with daisy shoulder straps. The dress was adorned with white daisies and leaves. White pearls centered the daisies and the dress was pearled and beaded as was the four-foot train. The matching veil featured a white pearl headpiece. The bride wore a matching shawl, white pearl earrings and a necklace. She carried a bouquet of white daisies, white and cream colored roses and baby's breath.
Jaime Garand, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Karen Powers, godmother of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were April Garand, sister of the bride; and Jessica Daigle, cousin of the bride. The attendants all wore pastel gowns.
Troy Chaffee and Scott Lane, friends of the groom, served as best men. Ushers were John Downs, brother-in-law of the groom, and Mark Francis Jr., friend of the couple.
A reception was also held in the field where the marriage took place. The three-tiered cake, supported by tall pedestals, displayed a waterfall and a capital L. There were also smaller two-tiered cakes on each side of the center cake, one bearing the name Larry and the other Emily. The cake, made by friend of the bride Peggy Parker, was decorated with pastel blue, purple, pink, cream and white flowers.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Tina Garand of Sheffield. She is a stay-at-home mother.
The groom is the son of Larry Lussier Sr. and Sherrill Cote, both of Newport. He is employed as an assistant manager of Peter Glenn Ski & Sport Shop in St. Johnsbury.
Noble - Hook

Jessica Lynn Noble and Scott Ambrose Hook were united in marriage Aug. 23, 2003, at the couple's home in Marshfield, Vt.
The 3 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by Sonia Peters, justice of the peace and friend of the bride.
The week prior to the wedding, friends and family helped transform the couple's yard. The centerpieces were French flower buckets with birch branches, and the white tables were scattered with white rose petals and bay leaves. The wedding favors were terra cotta pots with a packet of sunflower seeds, the bride's favorite flower. The center poles of the four-peak white tent were decorated with birch trees and white lights. Buckets of sunflowers provided by friend and photographer, Elaine Metcalf, lined one side of the dance floor. The groom and the groomsmen created a stone-lined fire pit, and the edge of the tent was lined with Tiki torches.
The bride walked in to Pachabel's "Cannon in D." The couple walked out to "Trumpet Voluntary." Without any prompting, the couple's dog, Meadow, walked out of the ceremony between them. The first dance was "At Last" by Etta James. DJ services were provided by Brad Garrand, friend of the couple. A jazz trio, led by Daniel Bissex, friend of the couple, played into the early hours of the morning.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white, beaded, spaghetti-strap, A-line gown with a scoop neckline. The bride carried two dozen yellow roses in a cascading bouquet accented with ivy. Pieces of the ivy were pulled out after the ceremony and are now growing in the couple's home.
Alexia Tomlinson and Melinda Cobb, both friends of the couple, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Bernier and Robin Lieb, both friends of the couple. Hannah Hook and Jewell Woodard, nieces of the couple, were the flower girls, and Jade Woodard, niece of the couple, was the junior bridesmaid.
The bridal attendants wore sage dresses in the style of their choosing. The flower girls wore matching A-line white dresses, white gloves and veils made by the bride. The junior bridesmaid wore an A-line white dress, white gloves and a sage sash that matched the rest of the wedding party. The maids of honor carried five, long-stemmed yellow gerber daisies, and the bridesmaids carried yellow, red and orange gerber daisies. The flower girls carried baskets of red rose petals.
Joshua Terry, friend of the couple, served as best man. Corey Furman, Jason Bernier, and Daniel Sharp, friends of the couple, were the groomsmen. Ethan Bernier, friend of the couple, was the ring bearer.
The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with sage vests. The groom wore a single yellow rose, and the groomsmen wore single yellow mini gerber daisies.
The reception was immediately following the ceremony at the same location. All the food was prepared by the wedding party and close friends Christy and Gary Tomlinson. A five-tiered white cake was decorated with yellow roses.
The bride is the daughter of Calvin and Nellie Noble Granby. She is a 1998 graduate of Concord High School and is employed by the Barre District Court.
The groom is the son of Arlene Lareau of Marshfield. He is a 1990 graduate of Twinfield Union School and is employed as a Web designer for Stephen Huneck Galleries.
In lieu of going away, the couple took the week prior to the wedding to spend with close friends and those who traveled far distances to be with them.
The couple reside in Marshfield.
Locke - Thompson

Ashley Denise Locke and Cory Ryan Thompson were united in marriage July 12, 2003, at the United Church of Christ, McIndoe Falls.
Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a strapless, princess-line gown of white milano satin. The bodice featured delicate lilac beading and embroidered lace. The chapel-length train featured lilac beaded buttons on either side of a lace-detailed tulle inset.
Desiree Keenan, friend of the couple, served as maid of honor. She wore a strapless, A-line gown of peach satin. Candice Lang, bridesmaid and friend of the bride, wore a similarly styled gown of lilac satin. Sherri Phelps and Pamela Judd, both sisters of the bride, also served as bridesmaids. Both wore similarly styled gowns in sage green. The bride's attendants carried small bouquets including the wedding party colors.
Michael Thompson, brother of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Kenny Sullivan, Matt Tetreault and Randy Johnson, all friends of the couple.
The mother of the bride wore a half-length dress with shades of peach. The mother of the groom wore a knee-length dress of deep purple.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Linda Locke of East Ryegate. The groom is the son of Richard and Lori Thompson of Bath, N.H.
Following a wedding trip to Portland, Maine, the couple reside in North Haverhill.
