Saturday October 11, 2003

Rhonda Marie Dion and Dwayne Edward Roger Perron of East Burke were united in marriage July 5, 2003, at the First Congregational Church in Lyndonville.

The 5 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Joan Vincent, family friend and former high school teacher of the couple.

Becky Young, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Melissa Perron, sister of the groom; and Sara Davies and Karen Gile.

Darren Perron, brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Jesse Dion, brother of the bride; and Kris Leach and Nate Plowman.

A reception was held at Lyndon State College. A white, four-tiered, multi-flavored cake adorned with yellow daisy decorations was made by Tammy Perron, aunt of the groom.

Following their honeymoon to Maine, the couple reside in East Burke.

The bride is the daughter of David and Anita Dion of Irasburg. She is a 1997 graduate of Lake Region Union High School. She is a full-time student at the University of Vermont majoring in dental hygiene.

The groom is the son of Edward and Donna Perron of Barton. He is a 1997 graduate of Lake Region Union High School and is employed by Russell Riendeau Trucking and Logging in Lyndonville.

Schwartz - Young
Saturday August 23, 2003

Traci-Lee Schwartz of Littleton and Jeffery Young of Lisbon were united in marriage Aug. 15, 2003, at 1 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony at the Riverglenn Gazebo in Littleton.

The ceremony was officiated by Maureen Dexter, justice of the peace.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a tea-length blue lace dress and carried a bouquet of assorted silk flowers. She was attended by Cathy Lewis, mother of the groom.

Ron Seavey served as his son's best man. Taylor Hussey was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Cloverleaf Drop In, in Littleton. The wedding cake was decorated with blue frosting and white frosting flowers.

Following a wedding trip to Ossipee, N.H., the couple reside in Lisbon.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Laurie Schwartz of Littleton. She attended Littleton area schools and is a homemaker.

The groom is the son of Ron Seavey of Lisbon. He is a 1999 graduate of Central High School in Providence, R.I., and is employed as an assistant director at the Cloverleaf Drop In, Littleton.

Hallee - Littel
Saturday November 9, 2002

Lisa Hallee of Gilman and Eric Littel of St. Johnsbury were united in marriage June 22, 2002, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine.

The 1 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jim Nadeau. Organist was Philip Fournier, and cantor was Gillian Hrehovcik.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin empire-waisted gown with a long satin train. The gown featured beadwork and sequins on its bodice. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and rum wax flowers.

Maid of honor was Alison Frechette. Bridesmaids were Alison Crocker, Heather Thompson, Kerry Laughlin and Kendra Cantin. Caitlin Hallee was the flower girl.

Attendants wore lilac A-line gowns with empire waists and scooped necklines. They also wore matching wraps and carried hand-tied bouquets of white roses and rum wax flowers.

Casey Littel served as best man. Ushers were Brian Cook, Ben Nickerson, Jon Black and Wayne Hallee. Cameron Hallee was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland.

Following a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple reside in Windham, Maine.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Gisele Hallee of Gilman. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is employed by Hannaford Bros. Co.

The groom is the son of Marvin and Carmen Littel of Manchester, Maine, and formerly of St. Johnsbury. The groom is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where he is currently employed.

DeCoff - Youngman
Saturday January 17, 2004

Donna DeCoff and Dale Youngman, both of Sharon, Vt., were united in marriage Dec. 27, 2003, at the United Church of Christ in Bradford.

The Rev. Harvey Bartlett officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride was given away by her son, Erik Daigle. Her daughter, Katy Daigle, also served as her attendant.

Adam Youngman was his father's best man.

A reception was held at the Eagles Club in Lebanon, N.H.

Following a wedding cruise in the Caribbean, the couple reside in Sharon.

The bride is the daughter of John DeCoff Jr. of White River Junction, Vt., and Polly Bartlett of Wilder, Vt. She is a graduate of Hartford High School and attended Bryant College in Rhode Island. She is employed at Dartmouth College.

The groom is the son of Ken Youngman of Wells River, Vt., and the late Eleanor Youngman. He is a graduate of Oxbow High School and is employed by Charlestown Transfer.

Heywood - Sanderson
Saturday March 15, 2003

Cassie L. Heywood of Lyndonville and John E. Sanderson of Dayton, Ohio, were united in marriage March 7, 2003, at their home in Middlebury.

The couple was attended by their children, Wyatt and Schye; and the bride's sister, Devin Heywood.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Heywood of Lyndonville and Jane Chamberlain of Middlebury. She is a stay-at-home mother, and also studying to be a medical claims specialist.

The groom is the son of Margaret Sanderson and Don Rauch of Dayton. He is a 1989 graduate of Beavercreek High School.

Albertin - Knapp
Saturday November 2, 2002

Crystal Lynn Albertin and Richard Parker Knapp II were united in marriage June 2, 2002, in an outdoor ceremony at the Horn Rapids Golf Course in Richland, Wash.

Attendants of the bride were Jennifer Gable and Kari Urquhart. Flower girls were Kristen and Serena Albertin, nieces of the bride. Molly Wright, sister of the bride, was an usherette.

Christopher Knapp, brother of the groom, and Robert Ayotte served as best men.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Carolyn Albertin of Kennewick, Wash., and Karen Westvik of Sweet Home, Ore. She is a 2000 graduate of Kennewick High School.

The groom is the son of Richard and Brenda Knapp of Littleton. He is a 1998 graduate of Littleton High School.

Following a wedding trip to the Wallowa Mountains in Oregon, the couple reside in Mountain Home, Idaho, where they both serve in the United States Air Force.

Gregory - Metras
Saturday July 26, 2003

Margaret Gregory of Lyndonville and Roger Metras of Newport were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 24, 2003, at 12:30 p.m. aboard the M/S Mt. Washington on Lake Winnepesaukee in Weirs Beach, N.H., in a double-ring ceremony.

Given away by her stepfather, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown featuring caviar beading and embroidered sequin accents on the bodice and along the banded chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of cream and lilac colored roses accented with short sprigs of eucalyptus.

Elizabeth Gregory, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bride was also attended by Joyce Oliver, sister of the groom. Sarah Oliver, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Attendants wore eggplant floor-length gowns with empire waists, lace-covered bodices and rosette backs with detachable trains. They carried bouquets of cream roses, yellow freesia and accents of eucalyptus.

Jason Metras, brother of the groom, served as best man. Tom Oliver, brother-in-law of the groom, was the usher, and Thomas Oliver, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

A reception was also held aboard the M/S Mt. Washington. The three-tiered cake was decorated with a fondant scarf draped along the side and clusters of natural flowers.

Following a week-long trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Littleton.

The bride is the daughter of John and Marie (Hemond) Dinsmore of Lyndonville. She is a 1999 graduate of Lyndon State College and a 1995 graduate of Lyndon Institute. She is employed as an accountant with Driscoll & Co., PLLC in Littleton.

The groom is the son of Moise and Esther Metras of Newport. He is a 1998 graduate of Lyndon State College and a 1994 graduate of North Country Union High School. He is employed as an accountant with Garnet Hill in Franconia, N.H.

Willson - Roy
Saturday October 5, 2002

Lisa Diane Willson and Gregory Alfred Roy, both of Lyndonville, were united in marriage June 29, 2002, at the Wheelock Town Hall Gazebo.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Timothy Pittman. White bells and streamers decorated the gazebo.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length satin gown featuring a gold and beaded flower-like design on the bodice and down the back of the gown. She carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and baby's breath.

Rebecca Perry, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Willson, sister of the bride; and Carrie Powers, friend of the bride. Brandy Mardin, cousin of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. The maid of honor wore a white chiffon gown with a lilac floral overlay. Bridesmaids wore lilac chiffon gowns with floral bodices. Each attendant carried a single white rose.

Michael Powers, friend of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Michael Paine, friend of the groom; and Warren Mardin, uncle of the bride. Zachary Willson, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the VFW hall in Lyndonville. The three-tiered chocolate and yellow cake was adorned with a dove and heart cake topper and decorated with cream and assorted purple flowers.

The couple also traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., for an Elvis wedding ceremony at the Little White Chapel. The couple now reside in Lyndonville.

The bride is the daughter of David and Diane True of Lyndonville. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Lyndon Institute and a 2001 graduate of Lyndon State College with an associate's degree. She is employed by the Wells River Pharmacy.

The groom is the son of Carol Roy of Marshfield. He is a 1989 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy and served 10 years in the U.S. Army. He is employed by NSA Industries.
