Herpok - Hale

Peg Herpok of North Haven, Conn., and Nicholas Hale of Burke Hollow were united in marriage April 12, 2003, at St. Barnabus Church in North Haven.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Hugh MacDonald.
The bride was given away by her father. Kristin Longobardi served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laurie Herpok, sister-in-law of the bride; Jessica Fitzgerald, Meredith O'Niel, Karen Welch and Angela DeNitto.
Henry Van Orman III was the best man. Groomsmen were Jack Herpok, brother of the bride; Jeff Welch, Corey Welch, Richard Keach and Chris DeFrancesco.
A reception was held at the Villa Capri in Wallingford, Conn. Following a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple reside in Lyndon Center.
The bride is the daughter of Kathy and John Herpok of North Haven. She is a graduate of Western New England College with a bachelor's degree in finance and management. She is employed by Passumpsic Savings Bank.
The groom is the son of Donald and Debra Hale of Burke Hollow. He is a graduate of Norwich University with a bachelor's degree in education. He is employed by the Caledonia North Supervisory Union.
Robinson - Cochran

Gary Cochran and Kari Robinson, both of Concord, Vt., were united in marriage Aug. 10, 2002, at the Walden Methodist Church.
The 11 a.m. ceremony was officiated by Jane Larrabee, justice of the peace. Mothers of the couple, Lynn Ashmall and Ann Cochran, lit the unity candles.
Brittany Cochran, daughter of the groom, served as both maid of honor and flower girl. Travis Cochran, son of the groom, was best man. Justin Robinson, son of the bride, and Jacob Cochran, son of the groom, served as ring bearers.
Following the ceremony, a potluck reception was held in the dining room. Wendy Stuart was the music coordinator, and Paula Dunn made the wedding cake and served as photographer.
Guests attended from Walden, West Danville, Cabot, Peacham, Concord, Waterford, St. Johnsbury and Fairfield, Vt., as well as California, Virginia, Michigan and New York.
The bride is the daughter of Lynn and Roy Ashmall; and the groom is the son of Ronald and Ann Cochran.
Pastore - Caplan

Mellisa Pastore and Seth Caplan were united in marriage Aug. 17, 2002, at the Stevens Estate in North Andover, Mass.
The 4 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Jack Padden, justice of the peace and friend of the couple.
Lisa Kimball, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Fadrigon, Lisa Scott, Kristen Wallace and Melissa Murphy, friends of the bride; and Wendy Caplan, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Courtney Kimball, niece of the bride.
Harvey Caplan, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Todd Caplan and Jonathan Caplan, brothers of the groom; and James Murphy, Glenn Bostic, Shane Lewis, Craig Douglas and Doug McGregor, friends of the groom.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple reside in Boston, Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Angela Pastore of Salisbury, Mass., and the late Anthony Pastore. The bride attended the University of Maine in Orono. She is employed as a construction assistant at Spaulding and Slye in Boston.
The groom is the son of Harvey and Patty Caplan of St. Johnsbury. The groom graduated from the University of Vermont, Class of 1994. He is employed as an account manager at Hemisphere Financial Management in Boston.
Fennimore - Sanborn

Janeen Wernecke Fennimore and Martin Willard Sanborn were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2003, at the First Congregational Church in Newbury.
The Rev. Susan Tarantino performed the ceremony. Salenda Girardin played the organ, and Anne Marie Wyckoff, sister of the groom, gave the reading.
The matron of honor was Cathleen Tracy, sister of the bride. The best man was William Sanborn III, brother of the groom. The ring bearers were Clayton Fennimore, and Cole, Taylor and Will Sanborn, sons of the bride and groom. The groomsmen were Steve Slack, cousin of the groom; Timothy Patch, Rod Cook, Andy Tomlinson and Randy Huntington, friends of the groom.
The reception following the ceremony was held at the Happy Hour Restaurant in Wells River.
The bride is the daughter of Gunther and Deborah Wernecke of Bradford. She is a 1990 graduate of Oxbow High School and a 1995 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She is employed as a pharmacist at Kinney Drugs in Bradford.
The groom is the son of William and Mary Sanborn Jr. of Bradford. He is a 1984 graduate of Oxbow High School and a 1988 graduate of the Vermont Police Academy. He is employed as the business manager at Walker Imports in Berlin, Vt.
The couple reside in Groton.
Coutu - Lindstrom

Beth Ellen Coutu of Cabot and Matthew Lindstrom of Cabot were united in marriage June 28, 2003, at their residence overlooking Molly's Pond.
The 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony was officiated by the groom's father, the Rev. Brent Lindstrom.
Given in marriage by her son, Mathew Coutu, the bride wore a white lacy western wedding dress made by Lee Beattie. She carried a bouquet of red and yellow sunflowers.
Sherri Ann Bearce, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Amand Cate, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. They carried bouquets of daisies and baby's breath.
Mathew Coutu also served as best man. Dakota Coutu, son of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception immediately followed at their residence at Molly's Pond. The four-tiered wedding cake, made by Mellisa Jenkins, friend of the bride and groom, was decorated with daisies. Food was brought by many people that added to a barbecue.
The bride is the daughter of Sandra Davis of St. Johnsbury and Allan Davis of McIndoe Falls. She is employed at the Creamery Restaurant and Marty's 1st Stop.
The groom is the son of Carol and Brent Lindstrom. They are missionaries in Albania. He is employed at his own dairy farm on Molly's Pond.
French - Fontaine

Amy Marie French and Jamie Michael Fontaine, both of Troutville, Va., were united in marriage July 19, 2003, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Troutville.
The Rev. Bob Hutchins officiated the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kimberly French, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christie Fontaine, sister of the groom; Jennifer Litz, friend of the bride; and Cheryl Webster, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Courtney French, niece of the bride.
David Fontaine, brother of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Todd and Bryan French, brothers of the bride; and Dennis Corey, friend of the groom. Kyle French, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Clarion Hotel in Roanoke, Va.
Following a honeymoon cruise in Hawaii, the couple reside in Roanoke.
The bride is the daughter of Gary French of Boones Mill, Va., and Doris French of Danville. She is a 1998 graduate of Johnson State College and a 2003 graduate of the College of Health Sciences. She is employed by Professional Therapies, Inc., in Daleville, Va.
The groom is the son of Michael and Sharon Fontaine of Milton. He is a 1996 graduate of Champlain College and is employed by Ersan Wood Floors of Blacksburg, Va.
Perry - Grenier

Rebecca A. Perry and Christopher J. Grenier, both of St. Albans, were united in marriage June 14, 2003, at the home of the bride's parents in West Burke.
The 2 p.m. ceremony was performed by Suzie Carr, justice of the peace. The bride was given away by her father, and was attended by her friends Mary Daley, Jennie Davis, Lisa Roy and Gwen Clark.
Travis Devolt served as best man. Ushers were Ryan Jurasek; Jason Reichert; Paul Perry, brother of the bride; and Jason Grenier, brother of the groom.
The reception was also held at the home of the bride's parents. The white, three-tiered, heart-shaped cake was decorated with fresh flowers.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Susan Wolston of West Burke. She is a 1999 graduate of Lyndon Institute and a 2001 graduate of Champlain College with an associate's degree in criminal justice. She plans to return to school this fall to complete her bachelor's degree.
The groom is the son of Peter and Jamie Grenier of Underhill. He is a 1998 graduate of Mt. Mansfield Union High School and a 2001 graduate of Champlain College with an associate's degree in criminal justice. He is employed as a police officer with the Milton Police Department.
Martin - Russell

Victoria Hayes Russell, sister of the groom, performed the ceremony. Jennifer Martin served as maid of honor for her sister, and David G. Russell, father of the groom, served as best man. Dan Talbot served as groomsman.
Shawn is the daughter of Mary Martin of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Philip Martin of Chicago, Ill. The bride is a graduate of Arizona State University and is employed by the Central Peninsula Counseling Service in Kenai, Alaska.
The groom is the son of Mark and Barbara Kittredge-Russell of Lunenburg, and David and Patricia Russell of St. Johnsbury. He is the grandson of Margaret Kittredge of St. Johnsbury and the late A. Ray Kittredge, and Stan and Beverly Russell of Lyndonville. He is a 1987 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy and served in the United States Army. He is a private building contractor in Soldotna where he and Shawn reside with their foster son, Josh.

A double-ring ceremony and reception was also held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel in Lyndonville at 2 p.m. July 22. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Glenn A. Goodrich.
Following a wedding trip to Albuquerque, N.M., the couple reside in Jamaica Plain, Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Richard K. and Beverly L. Holman of Newark. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Lyndon Institute and plans a spring 2003 graduation from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston. She is employed by Gateway Crafts in Brookline, Mass.
The groom is the son of Larry K. Shumway of Tooele, Utah, and Floralee Shumway of Centerville, Utah. The groom is a 1995 graduate of Viewmont High School in Utah and a 2000 graduate of the University of Utah with a bachelor of science degree in economics. He is employed as a night manager at the Hilton Hotel in Cambridge, Mass.

Carrie Jean Lepage and Elvin Dean Switser II, both of Sutton, were united in marriage at 3 p.m., June 7, 2002, at the West Burke United Methodist Church.
The private, double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Henry E. Cheney. Witnessing the ceremony were Christine and Robert Reed and Audrey and Mike Hearne.
A reception was held the next day at the couple's home. Family members attended from Vermont, California and Wyoming.
The bride is the daughter of Christine and Robert Reed of Orleans and Bob Lepage of Newport. She is a graduate of Lake Region Union High School and Champlain College.
The groom is the son of the late Reg and Fargo Rae Switser. He is a graduate of Lyndon Institute.
The couple resides in Sutton with their daughter, Christine Rae.
